Tuesday night we had horrible storms and tornados in our area and we lost power for a good amount of time. My sister in law got us a room here so we could get some sleep. When we go to check in they told us we couldn't because she had to be here to sign papers to authorize the credit card and we get turned away. Ok thats fine. Then today I get an email saying we no showed and they charged us over $100 for a cancelation fee on the same card they wouldn't approve before without her being here. How is this ok?! you wont let us stay there using the card, but you will charge it anyway. We called the owner and he told us basically too bad and that we should read because them turning us away wasn't a cancellation and they wont return the money. Then hung up on my husband and blocked his phone number. Real professional. We will be filing a complaint with BBB. You shouldn't own a business if you treat people this way. Horrible.
