Old school. Drugs are rampant although the crowd associated with them dies down a bit in winter. In summertime, however, be fully prepared to encounter various unsavory characters who are infact doing exactly what other people are saying in their reviews: 3am banging on walls and yelling, ppl either trying to bum a beer or a cig, and police involvement. Speaking of bums the ones that stand on Armour Rd nearby who are homeless in fact have cars and live in these hotel rooms. They are spending the communitys handouts on drugs. And the floors in rooms will indeed turn your feet/socks black.

The motel is located in a bad neighborhood. The room had cockroaches and bedbugs. We had no choice in staying because we broke down while moving and it was the only place that would take my pets and now they also have fleas.

Very friendly staff who were very helpful in suggesting great dining places within walking distance… yes you can see and hear couples enjoying intimacy which adds to exciting frolicking. Very comfortable beds and clean bathroom… love you guys, Suzysusu.

Haven't seen any bugs yet. Nice place for the rate. Apparently there is a drug problem, I Was harassed by police with no name on badge in unmarked car, for no reason.

Basic hotel bed and tv. Obviously not expensive but clean and secure.

Cheapest place around, good service and decent location.

By being The owner and operator from renting I see there's nothing wrong with place FOR rent just need a future touch-up.

Disgustingly messed up drug/bug infested. Stayed here while waiting for my house to be ready worst mistake of my life. Kmeg and DCFS need to kick doors down. The office doesn't give a damn what goes on rooms are horrible of your not hearing people fighting you here them having sex weirdos hanging out outside banging on your door all night long. Lord don't smoke cigarettes they will come at you like roaches for one… This place needs to be shut down how can this place remain open… BBB needs to do something asap.

Very dirty. Pretty disgusting actually. The price was quite cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for…

Dirty and some of the beds had very thin mattresses. Won't stay there again.

This place is disgusting, waking up from people fighting and doors slamming at 2-3 in the morning. And if you have kids, I would NOT even allow them to step foot in this place, it's NOT safe, nor anywhere close to being clean enough to actually live in the room.

Dirty! super thin towels and pillows! Loud fighting until Police were called! Uncomfortable broken beds! I will never stay there again. I did want to mention though that the attendant on duty was very nice.

The rooms are what you'd expect from your average motel. During icy conditions in for a ground-floor room because the walkways are slick. Dominos delivers there.

Bugs, bugs and more bugs! This place is extremely disgusting. Beds that were made in the 80's & 90's that have terrible stains and foul odors to them, mold in the shower, nasty carpets that NEVER get cleaned, linen that doesn't get washed, refrigerators and microwaves that haven't been cleaned, and toilets that leak. There are 3 ice machines but only one of them work (it seems to break every other week so plan on buying ice a few times just like I did). I stayed here for 8 weeks while working in town. It was by far the worst place I've ever been too. It is NOT a place for kids and I feel ashamed that my daughter had to stay here as well. This is a crack/party motel. Cops are ALWAYS there. I've had to call the police at 11:30 PM on a group of people that were literally fighting on the second floor and I was able to hear it on the 3rd floor. Paper thin walls. You can hear the people in the room next door talking and you can hear the TV. Every room gets different cable channels and the Wi-Fi works whenever it wants to. My husband, daughter and I barely got any sleep while we was here. Housekeeping only comes to your room once a week and when they "clean" the rooms, they will throw away anything that is left in the room even if you return later on that day. For instance, 3 weeks ago, my husband, our daughter and I returned back to the motel to find out that my husband's $400 tool box had been thrown away by a maid.

Horrible room. Smelled like smoke once I entered room. Be very aware of the beds. These were not bed bugs they were fleas! Woke up the next morning with at least 10-15 bites on my ankles and legs. Will not stay there ever again! Room 219 to be exact. Very horrible experience and have not overcome the itch the past 2 days. Definitely filing complaint with authorities!

1 star because zero isn't an option to be able to write a review to warn you Not to rent here. Bed bugs. Roaches. No customer service, no money back, no remote, no phone, no a/c, stained linens, and worn out mattresses. Keep going. Too many bed bug problems in this community.

Gave us a room that wasn't clean and then transferred us to another one. That wasn't any better. Dirty, icky and just not what we thought it was going to be.

You get what you pay for. Cheap for a week but lacking in amenities. I wouldn't recommend staying unless you have to stay long term on a budget. Not exactly family friendly. Fingers crossed for the next week!

Well they could use in up grade but the beds where comfort in the front desk clerk was very nic oin I didn't get no conplaint from no one at the hotel I will stay there again.

It's unfortunate we're stuck in this situation. I'd rather be living somewhere else even in a better motel. Rooms are nasty, cockroaches, doors aren't even closing properly. You can hear every conversation from the rooms next door and outside. I've had to call the cops because of a property damage issue. Now we're just waiting for the summons. Honestly, it is the cheapest place to be but in the long run it'll cost you more.

Well it was very convenient when we need a place to live for the short time that we were here but soon not to be here.

If I could give this motel no stars, I would. This motel is disgusting. And way too much. You could get a way nicer motel rather than this one! Drunk people walking around everywhere. Don't walk on the carpet barefoot because your feet will turn black!

1 star is too much. We were moving and needed a room for a hotel and the other hotels were either booked or didn't accept dogs. We were local and drive over @ 3 to book and finish packing our house, went into the room at 6. We paid $67 and couldn't access the room because the door was rusted shut. My husband had to literally bust the door in. As we always do, we immediately pulled up the corner of the linens and mattress for a bed bug check and it was crawling with them, under the linens AND between rhe mattress and box spring, despite the overwhelming smell of bug spray oozing from the mattress. After getting stuck trying to leave through the fire hazard door, we immediately left the room and drove to the front office for a refund. My husband went in, described the problem and was told she could only give hin 1/2 of his money back because of the door but NOT because of the bed bugs, because he couldn't prove it because she couldn't /wouldn't leave the desk. He asked for other staff to check and she said no, and suggested he haul the mattress downstairs to prove it. Then she suggested the bed bugs hopped off of our luggage (that we never brought up) and infested the mattress. She said refunds for issues must be done 30 min after paying for room. He then asked for a refund again and she said no habla englais. He then said he was going to call someone to come there to see the hotel and shut them down.

Rooms are disgusting. Everything reeks of cigarettes so be prepared to smell nothing but cigarette smoke when you're trying to sleep. Toilet seat was stained and dirty. Just overall disgusting. The people next to us were outside our door yelling and cursing until 3 am. Was terrified all night, they were pounding on the walls. Terrible experience. Would not recommend to anyone. You're better off paying a little more and going to one of the hotels near this one.

Nice clean room for really good rates.
