The rooms are clean. Staff is friendly and professional. Typical type continental breakfast. The motel is downtown so it is close to several unique shops and eateries.

Staff was fantastic, in fact we had a broken chair which was replaced within 15 minutes of check in without us even having to call. Room was nothing remarkable but was perfectly clean. For the super low price it was above and beyond expectations. They have smoking rooms available which I didnt even know existed in Illinois anymore. They earned every star I gave. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay without the typical bargain hotel cutbacks this is the place to go.

Old, old, old and needs a makeover. Someone needs to clean mold from between shower tiles. Room smells like it's been sprayed for bugs. Linens clean. Desk staff nice.

Cannot recommend enough. I checked in after a long hot day and room was already cool. Most comfortable bed I have slept in for a long time. Friendly helpful staff. Have spent a lot more for a lot less. Building is a little old but very clean and we'll maintained.

Very clean, comfortable, homey, room. Walking to stores, pubs, town. Clerk was extremely helpful to accommodate. Made room for my trailer. For 50 yr old hotel, one of the best I have stayed. I will be back. 5+stars.

About the best you can do with such an old building. Has a great thrift store right next door. Super easy to set up our game system to the tvs here. We have stayed for the last two days and the staff has been super nice. Queen beds are a little narrow. Also furniture is a little outdated. Compared to other hotels in 20 mile radius at same price, the breakfast kinda stinks. Honey buns and danishes were a plus. But over all it was a pretty comfortable stay. Photo is a veiw from our room window. Pretty lights at night.

Surprisingly better than my expectations… only game in town — but try’s really hard to be clean, safe, and comfortable. Aged — but cared for.

All was and went well. Great location for the St Patrick Day parade. Some observations: bed cover needs to be cleaned. Would suggest a smoke detector in the bathroom to stop smokers from smoking in this nice room. Need an ionizer when people smoke in non smoking rooms. Staff nice and friendly.

Internet reservation for late arrival. Smooth 11:00pm reception. No gym but located right on down town strip for food & drinks. Fast free internet, fridge, hot & abundant water.

Quick check in… friendly staff and clean comfortable room. Can't beat the price. Just a few blocks from plenty of nice restaurants, bar and grills, and shops.

Very decent basic accommodations. Had frig, microwave iron and ironing board. Only protein in the breakfast was milk for cereal, but in addition to oatmeal and cold cereal, had coffee, juice, fruit, waffles to heat in a microwave and other pastries. Clean and felt safe. Would stay again.

Great place with great prices! The rooms are clean, nice decor, and very soft beds. I highly recommend this place! The overnight attendant was very rude and condescending, but all the other staff was very friendly!

We give Super 8 Belleville Illinois a five star rating. Everything clean and nice. Knowledgeable and kind staff. Close to many things downtown where we wanted to go… We come here again this is where we're going to stay.

Great and affordable place to stay. Updates are needed but the shower is a nice size. The owners are very friendly and will do their best to accommodate you.

First got hooked onto this super 8 by my girlfriend. We like to just go and hang sometimes away from the noise of our lives. Wanted a clean and comfy experience and this super 8 has not disappointed. Very comfy bed, good hot water, nice cable, Wi-Fi could be better though but still decent overall. We come here often and will continue.

Very nice rooms for an affordable cost. The room with the Jacuzzi tub is great! Highly recommended.

Only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating because the bathtub/shower needs an update. The water pressure from the shower wasn't the best (but I've definitely seen worse) we were able to get clean at least! The shower knobs are quite rusted. Like I said just needs a bit of an upgrade. Staff was nice and very helpful! Visited with other travelers, everyone was nice! Would definitely stay again, even without an updated shower/tub :)

Nice room need some updated cosmetics in washroom & carpet. Exterior not bad but could brighten up grounds halls & floors.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Downtown location is very convenient. Wi-Fi is mediocre at best, but they also have a computer in the lobby for guests. Breakfast was average, but the coffee is very good. Fix the Wi-Fi for a fifth star.

Just ok for a Super 8. The chair in my room was really worn. The bed was comfortable and the TV was larger than average. Breakfast was horrible. If you have things to do in downtown this would be a cheap convenient choice.

It was a fun location. The rooms were very clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The guy behind the counter was not so social but if that's it it was a great experience.

Checked in on Wednesday the May 24, 2017 checked out on Thursday the 25th the room was clean, the bathroom is big and clean, the whole staff is very friendly. It was a little hard to find if you don't have a GPS and if you are familiar With the area. The hotel is very well kept when we go back to see family I will most definitely Come back to this hotel. And the BEDS let me tell you what they are so comfortable I slept like a rock!

Got in at 2 a. M. Bathroom counter not level. Uneven grout lines on floor tile. Finish on front edge of desk was scuffed. DO NOT, repeat DO NOT take these reviews seriously without knowing the author. It was a cool, dry, clean comfortable place to sleep on a long road trip. Enough said.

We travel a lot with bugRIGHT company and stay at a lot of hotels. This is the nicest and cleanest hotel I have seen in a while the front desk manager Chad and Tracy are all smile's and friendly. I feel secure and the bed is very comfortable. The room is very clean. The carpet is cleaner than 5 star hotels that I have stayed in. We will be back when we are in the area again.

Great value for the price very clean, staff was very helpful, dont let the "2 star hotel" stigma scare you aware, comfortable and affordable, what else do you need in a hotel?

Long story short. This was the first place that my fiance and I had a vacation at all our own. Now we will have 3 people staying when ever we go on vacation. Room was clean, management was good about an issue that we had with whirl pool and got it taken care of fast. Really a good place to stay and not far from down town Bellville.

Nice location; I can tell the decor has been updated; staff was friendly and helpful. The only bad thing I have to say may have just been a fluke, but if someone puts a "do not disturb sign" on the door, it means "do not enter"

It was good for the one night I needed but there is no where to walk your dog if you brought one like we did, the parking like is horrible, the breakfast had no hot food other than microwavable food and the room stank of mold, the bathroom door didn't shut and the play pen they gave us for our toddler was disgustingly dirty. I was just happy to get off the road and close my eyes.

Clean rooms recently updated bedrooms. Good water pressure. Microwave and fridge.

Very clean and quiet hotel. My room had a big tv, cable, refrigerator, microwave, and free Wi-Fi. Just at the edge of downtown Belleville. Great price. Highly recommend.

This hotel was a great price for the service provided. We were just passing through St Louis and we're very happy that we chose to stay in Belleville, driving through this cute and quaint historic town was a pleasure. The hotel is very clean and well cared for and the staff are all very nice.

Checking in, I noticed the lobby had a nice updated color scheme, but was surprised by the not so current interior of the room. It appeared that someone ran out of paint when painting the bathroom door that didn't quite close. You can definitely notice where the paint roller stopped. The king room came with a fridge, microwave, and a nice flat screen, which most hotels do not provide. The bed was firm and not comfortable for side sleepers such as myself. The pillow was fluffy but supportive. The room didn't smell bad but had a faint smoky aroma. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall decent.

Cons: first of all, this is a motel, not a hotel. The bathroom was really outdated, but clean. Breakfast was either toast or cereal. I was expecting a little more. Worst thing was I couldn't sleep from 12-3am because people near us were yelling all night. It sounded like people were running laps around the hotel and yelling. It was awful. pros: at least it was clean and had good guest service when I complained about the noise. The bed room area was decorated tastefully. The room had a microwave and mini fridge (that made a ton of noise. I had to unplug it so I could sleep after the neighbors finally stopped yelling).

I came to Belleville to act out my part for a new movie called Belleville, The Movie. The hotel was very close to the filming location. Within two blocks. I found the hotel very clean and very well kept, inside and out. The operators were very polite and helpful. I had everything I needed to make it feel as close to home as possible. The pillows were outstanding. Not your standard hotel pillows it seemed. The start-up breakfast was great! All available: microwave, refrigerator, very clean towels, Wi-Fi was strong and a very nice LG plasma tv. I felt I was in a 5* hotel. Rick Jey, actor/model/voice over personality.

Excellant place to stay at a fair price. Had to check in after midnight. I was in town for a service call the next morning and had just drove 5.5 hours. They had a room available immediatly, which was clean, had a refridge and a microwave, very comfortable bed,, Loved the pillows,, would stay at a Super 8 again.

No problems, clean clean clean and ice cream in the vend machine! Lol.
