Very nice motel with clean spacious rooms. Comfortable and quiet with good service. Would definitely stay there again.

Had a very relaxing stay. Front desk clerk was very friendly and recommended a great restaurant. We will definitely stay again in the future. It is close to Psycho Silo only 15 minutes away.

This place is so clean beds are comfortable breakfast was so good homemade biscuits and gravy fresh fruit everything you could want the man at the front desk was very nice and helpful! And great price all this place was hands down one of the best places I’ve stayed in 2 weeks of traveling.

The concierge at the counter was friendly. The room was very clean and the breakfast was fresh! The gentleman who checked us in the night before was there maintaining the food. I also love that they use eco friendly products where ever possible! If other Best Westerns are like this, than I will happily stay again.

We had the WORST hotel stay at this Best Western. Do not stay here if there is a baseball tournament in town. Staff was rude. No ice in the machines. Kids running from one end of the hotel to the other on the 2nd floor until after 11pm and back at it again at 6:30am. Knocking on our door numerous times and the pool wasn't an option for our 8 year old. We were told they (the staff) tried to stop the noise at about 10pm and their attempts "weren't working" so we were advised to "handle it ourselves" and call the cops. We expressed our dissatisfaction at checkout and was told the manager was going to call to possibly refund some of our money. That was over a week ago and we haven't heard from them and no reply from Best Western Customer Service either. Next time we come to Annawan, we will be sure to find somewhere else to stay and it will NOT be a Best Western!

The beds were so comfortable. The room decor was nice and clean. The only issue was the shower curtain, it was dirty and had mold on the inside but the shower head was great. Breakfast was really good. Would definitely stay again!

They were able to availability even with a baseball tournament. Very welcoming and nice. Even though the microwave in the room didn't work. Everything else was great.

Went to a wedding held in the building in the back. Beautiful and huge space. Nothing like it in our area for a special event.

Great place to stay. Helpful employees. Now has newly updated baths with quite attractive granite-topped vanities. Free Continental breakfast has been recently improved with the addition of a greater menu selection which now includes hot fried potatoes, sausages, scrambled eggs and more fresh fruit as well as the usual Belgian waffles and toppings, cereal (now includes granola), breakfast pastries, and more!

Had a great stay. Great place really nice staff. Exercise room was nice but one treadmill kept on shutting off. And could be more handicap friendly. Like maybe taller toilets, more grab rails by toilet. And one in shower itself otherwise very roomie bathroom. Could use fluffier pillows. Otherwise wonderful stay.

Clean, well maintained, very good variety and quality for a continental breakfast, friendly staff. It happily surprised us. Being that it was the only hotel in the area, we weren't expecting much. That said, it wasn't inexpensive.

Continental breakfast was above and beyond what we expected. Rooms were clean and comfortable but a little dated appearance wise. Staff was friendly for the most part. The outdoor pool was closed with no update as to when it would be open during our stay.

The staff is fantastic, but facilities are showing their age. Exercise room needs an upgrade and pool is closed. One really good diner in town.

Disappointing. Be careful when booking rooms for large groups (wedding). Management wasn't eager to give guest the contracted discount. I had to call in for them… on more than one occasion. Again, management was okay during the event until questioned about some "misunderstandings" (giving my room up to another guest, having guest pay for rooms that were paid in advance) the next day. He blamed other guests instead of taking responsibility. It took 2 face-to-face meetings after weekend to resolve the "misunderstandings". Stay on top of them or go somewhere else if you don't want the hassle…

Disappointing. No one available at front desk — ever. Management never took responsibility (gave my reservation to another guest, and charged another guest for room that was prepaid are just 2 examples). When confronted about mistakes, he was argumentative and placed blame on our guests. He was caught in several discrepancies (lies) throughout the weekend. Management cannot be trusted! Be careful when booking banquet room. Keep a copy of all receipts. You will need them for when mgr calls after event to tell you that you still owe him!

I would agree with some of the problems listed here. I reserved a king-size bed, but upon arrival was told there were none. When I asked why, because it had been reserved, I was told that they would give me some-one else's reserved room. Then, when we went to the room, it had not even been cleaned (dirty, beds all used, dirty laundry on the floor). When I went back to the counter, we were given a different room.
The breakfast was basically just a continental breakfast, except for a waffle maker that was cold. We had planned on eating there, but changed our mind right away. There was little to choose from, and did not look appealing at all. It was a very nice eating area, plenty of room, nicely furnished, but so lighting so dim that it was dreadful.
The hotel is difficult to find, grass not mowed, shrubs not trimmed, and numerous lights out in the parking area. Do not stay here!

I cannot say enough about the wonderful service we received at Annawan Best Western for our son/ new daughter — in law's wedding reception on June 20, 2015. We found the entire staff so helpful. We met with them often before the reception and both sides had clear a understanding of who was responsible for what and how the whole day/ night would go. All fees were discussed and agreed upon prior to the reception, when the contract was signed. Three were no surprises or hidden fees. They worked great with the catering company and with us as we decorated the hall the day before. Our overnight guests found their rooms clean and prepared for them. Thanks to Cinna, Maddie, Sonny and Harmon for all their help.

Rooms are dirty and not what I expected. Hotel staff is hard to find when you get here. Had to pick up a phone that rings a bell. Back door key card was broken. This is the third time I've stayed in this hotel it is clearly going downhill. I will never stay here again.

I used to stay at the Best Western Annawan Inn. When I commuted to IL for work. I stayed in at least 5 different 'Superior' rooms and they were all pretty much the same: comfortable bed, quiet, bemused Picasso portrait staring from the wall, and occasionally temperamental shower pressure/temperature. I recommend turning on the shower 5 min before jumping in purposely make it 'too hot' at first, give it a couple of minutes, then check it every min or 2 and adjust to add more cold water as needed. Once you've tweaked it to the right temp, it seems to stay that way, in my experience.

We stayed for a slumber party for 8 — 10year old girls on 2/9/13. We originally thought there would be 5 girls staying, but ended up with 8 girls total. We booked an Executive suite for $200.18. At check-in, we received a warm welcome from the girl working the desk. She advised we were 1 of only a couple of guests staying and she gave us a room on the 2nd floor all by ourselves. We thought that was perfect for a bunch of giggling girls. That is where the much anticipated fun evening ended. The pool was quite cold, the fire place in the room and jacuzzi tub faucet did not work. There was a man employee that was lurking around on our floor and staring at our door. The girls were quite upset. When we checked out the next morning, we were told we had too many girls with us. They only knew of 5 and we had 8. I agreed to pay the extra fees for the other 3 girls and reminded them that we had come in the front doors and were not trying to slip anyone in, but the man (same lurking man from the night before) at the desk proceeded to talk over me and act as if I was lying about the faulty items in the room. He dismissed everything I said and didn't listen to a word I was saying. We left quite frustrated and with a bill for $342.25 for a 1 night stay. They charged me another $142.07 for the other 3 girls. I have told everyone that I can to NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. They are thieves.

We were grateful to find a hotel since we had to stop due to I80 being closed due to snow. It was $125 for 2 queen sized beds and pet fees. There were water stains on the ceiling and it just wasn't a high quality kind of hotel. Still, it was a safe enough place for us to stay the night out of the blizzard.

Stayed here traveling across the country. Great place. Clean rooms. Heated pool was nice but barely warm enough. No complaints.

My husband, grandson and I stayed at this hotel on April 30th and May 1st 2010 The front desk staff were very friendly and the room was nice. However that is where the good experience ended. The so called heated pool was freezing. I couldn't even go in it was so cold. At the end of the stay when we checked out I had looked at my bill and saw that I was overcharged $38.00 for my stay. I brought this to the attention of the girl that checked us out and even showed her our reservation copy with the amount stated clearly on it. She informed me that she couldn't do anything about it and that her manager would call me that afternoon. The next day after no call I called them and was told the manager never bothered to come in and that she said she would be in for sure today. In the mean time I checked my account to find out I was charged even more than the amount on my checkout receipt. And 40.00 nore in fact so I called the hotel back again and was told that it looked like I was double charged for one of the nights and the manager would contact me by 2:30. At 4:30 I called again to find out that the manager had not bothered to show again. I advise anyone that is thinking about staying here or at any Best Western to stay anywhere else because they cannot be trusted. I even called the corporate office who did file a complaint claim but told me that they couldn't help me. Now I will have to get a lawyer and sue to get my money back.
