Ephram at the counter was very friendly & helpful. The manager Jackie has excellent customer service. Rooms were clean. Housekeeping was nice & on their job at all times. Ms. Ethel at the front desk was very sweet & helpful as well. Nice demeanor.

Booked online arrived in person and Canceled immediately. This is the hotel in the movies where all the crazy things take place. Looks like bugs, prostitution and a local shelter all on one. Nice front desk staff tho.

The experience was so great. The air was so nice due to the air conditioners in the the hotel. Everything was nice.

Well we showed up and the staff said I booked a room that was smoking and clearly the email confirmation I had said non smoking, got the non smoking room. Room was a little smaller than what I thought it would be but we delt with that, next morning I woke up and went to check out the continental breakfast didn't have very much variety so we went to Denny's down the street. Came back to the hotel to relax before we went back out that evening, before we left I seen a bug on the desk and at further review after catching it, it was a cockroach needless to say I got our family to a different hotel. Told the lady at the front desk and she acted like it was no big deal that they had cockroaches. Do not stay there!

This place was absolutely trash. The road between Red Roof & Super 8 is all damaged, I could hear a loud stud every 20 seconds from every car driving by. The breakfast is mediocre at best. It is impossible to use the Wi-Fi, horrible!

They recently renovated all the rooms, it's definitely got a retro vibe going on, but fresh carpet and freshly painted walls are always a nice feel to a motel.

The don't have the best breakfast, but the accommodations are wonderful.

Stayed at this Super 8 hotel for a week with my boyfriend. The room was clean, the Wi-Fi was really good, and the breakfast was more than I could ask for from a continental breakfast. There was a fridge and a microwave in the room which were really useful! The staff was really friendly, and very approachable :) There is a diner next to the hotel, and the food there is pretty good, and they're open till late for those late night munchies! Great experience, looking forward to staying there again in the future. Thank you for having us!

Comfortable, quiet rooms, but could've been more thoroughly cleaned. Pleasant manager. Good continental breakfast. Close to several restaurants. I would stay here again.

Safe area, but internet is poor for gaming, and room has very strong oder can't tell what it is and it's non smoking, the price is not worth it. This should be a 55$ hotel not 85$. Then maybe I can give it 3 stars. I'm staying at woodspring suites after tonight.

Step above sleeping on a park bench. Internet is almost non-existent. The Internet had no security and was hard to connect to. Rust and stains on almost every surface possible. It is clear the hallway hasn't been vacuumed in a very long time. It felt like the office staff was upset by my presence. Bed, desk, and chairs are alright. Shower head and water pressure/temperature are really nice.

Absolutely horrible place to stay, people seem to be dealing drugs out of the rooms, smells like cigarettes and weed everywhere even in non smoking rooms, awful management. The only positive reviews of this place have to be from hotel staff. I don't understand how anyone could say something positive about this place. I cannot stress enough how bad the cigarette smell is. If you sleep there you will likely wake up coughing and your breath will smell like smoke. Avoid at all costs, sleep in your car. The breakfast is cereal and old cheap bread.

Got here late asked her if she had a room on first floor, female attendant about 10:30 said no put me in room 214. Tried to 14 spoon to call down to tell him that the toilet is stopped up from just a number one didn't even use toilet paper. Went down told him the phone didn't work and he told me it did I said no it didn't cuz I try to use it you want to argue and say it did work. I asked him for a plunger said he didn't have one wanted me to change room I told him my daughter is asleep already. I said come on man you ain't got a plunger in here he said no he said I can move you to a lower room on the first floor. I said my daughter is asleep. So I went upstairs to try to fix the toilet. The water flow inside the tank was not properly working and I fix that then I put water down the bowl and unclog the toilet. Then at 12:06 the tenant calls the room and wakes up my daughter. And the door jamb to the door that doesn't shut correctly is damaged and bent to an unsafe and liable position. The lamp on the the desk that is 2 feet wide has to sit in the middle of the desk because the lampshade is 18 in wide. Really bad experience for only being here 2 hours. I also tried to call them twice on my cell phone and they never answered the phone.

The hotel and room seems to be clean but bare minimum (smallest flat screen TV ever) There is a huge wide crack in concrete floor under the carpet (we were on the 2nd floor). If you are just looking for a clean inexpensive room, this is perfect!

Dangerous area. Dirty rooms. Every night I people were yelling in the hallways. Did not feel safe here at all.

The staff at the Super 8 are very nice. They offer breakfast in the morning. The rooms are nice and clean.

Good service, friendly staff. The entrance to the store is on 14th Street, it looks like it's around the corner, but it's tucked in a bit. Go in, order sandwich in the back by the drinks, next station is toppings then done. Good food, quality, and the cookies are awesome.

I've stayed at this Super 8 a few times, and the staff is normally pleasant. The rooms are alright. There was one that smelled like wet socks, and seemed to have a humidity problem. Bathrooms looked clean on the surface. Only complaint I have in that area is the mildew in the detachable shower head. You could see the black buildup in the hose and in the threading where you screw the shower head onto said hose. Now, this motel is listed as pet friendly. I was informed by management, that they are in fact NOT… after they booted my key card out of the system because I had a parakeet in my room. Management was understanding and reactivated my key card, and I was allowed to compete my stay. So, just a heads up. Not pet friendly any more.

Great room! I had a date here and the bed play was amazing!

It smelled very bad walking into the lobby. They gave my room away and left me with nothing with my 12 year old child living with autism.

Good and reasonably priced hotel near University of Maryland, College Park. We were staying here for more than a week. Parents visiting Maryland for their child's convocation, this is a good place to stay in. Staff is helpful. Morning breakfast menu can be improved though.

The management was courteous and professional. My only issue was a broken toilet.

Its was perfect best for the money too soo relaxing.

I suggest to the management change the one who works after 12 am or teach him how to respect people, very rude, he thinks we came to beg him to rent room at this nasty place.

The staff was rude. The room smelled horrible as soon as I walked in. Had to open the window wide on a cold day just to air it out. The Wi-Fi didn't work the entire time although I was connected and Edith, the front desk manager spoke in a sarcastic, condescending tone when I asked her about it. Breakfast, or lack there of was basically dry cereal that sat out in closed containers in the small reception area. The housekeeper was nice and smiled and spoke to me whenever I walked by. The coffee machine inside the room was dirty. And it only makes single cup servings so it shouldn't have been. The carpet was filthy and I believe that's what made the room smell so bad! The Super 8 costs more than The Comfort Inn and HoJo. I would recommend those! At least campus is within walking distance as well as stores, metro, etc… Management needs to do more than paint walls and throw on "New" comforters to update the place. But like they say… You Get What You Pay For! I guess…

Nasty and unhygienic not worth to spend that money. No service provided for guests. Bathroom, Towel, Sink and Carpet all dirty. Iron board provided after request feels like picked up from garbage. Please think twice to spend any money for staying in Super 8. Gust.

This is by far the nastiest hotel/motel I've ever stayed in, in my ENTIRE life! I understand the saying you get what you paid for but I figured considering the location and the competition of hotels around that it couldn't be that bad and I was very wrong. (Additionally if the room is not free I believe that it should be at least inhabitable. ) I booked this place for a friend which I accompanied to check in. First of all when we arrived to the room, the carpet was wet (YUCK! ). We asked for another room which was going to take a few minutes so we left and came back. Upon our arrival back we were moved into a bigger room with a couch and all which was cool. (ok! shrugs shoulders) Shortly after, we discovered there was a creature in the room : (A salamander to be exact! I mean really? To top it off when we went down to the receptionist to report the salamander can you believe that she asked us if we brought it with us. TF? I was beyond insulted. Instead of her to apologize and handle the situation professionally, she allowed that "tom-foolery" come out of her mouth. The place went from bad to worst really quick. After maintenance came to remove/kill the creature (smh) with no other options my friend stayed the night (I quickly went home) The next day we decided to cancel the reservation and ask for a refund from Priceline. The only problem now was the lack of professionalism, unapologetic nature and down right rude attitude of the receptionist and manager.

Be careful: You can book rooms here if you are 18+ but they will not allow you to check into your room unless there is someone 21+ present. As a result, my group and I waited in their lobby for 2+ hours as we waited for a person 21+ to arrive. In addition, I received the WORST customer service I have ever witnessed at a hotel. The attendant refused to remove the glass so I could barely hear what she was saying. She stated the only way I could check in without someone 21+ was if they sent a scanned copy of their ID with written and signed permission. I already had this on my phone, but she refused to accept it off my phone or via email (claiming they don’t use email) and would only accept fax. I proceeded to fax it using an online fax service and had my brother fax the file from home as well but their fax machine “didn’t receive anything. ” Shortly after, a member of our party that was over 21 arrived so the problem was solved but I never received even the slightest apology for the inconvenience. I would strongly recommend NOT staying here.

I would give it a strong 3. Walls are thin and we could hear people walking by in the hallway and the upstairs neighbors. Breakfast was juice, milk, and toast, very lackluster. There was a smell in the hallway, but it didn't extend to the room. The beds were comfy (especially if you like firm beds), and the a/c worked great. Very friendly staff!

The hotel has a very obvious smell, both in the hallways and the rooms. The beds are uncomfortable. The walls are paper-thin, as are the floors.
