All the lower reviews describe this place accurately. Very old and run down. They “try” to spruce the rooms up with newer bed covers but that’s about it. After being moved to multiple rooms due to AC issues, one would think they can find a room with a working AC! And the smell! Old, musty hotel odor. If you pay more than $60 a night, you are SEVERELY over paying!

Very, very bad. The guy at the front desk was nice and wanted to help, but the hotel is horrible, super stinky, beds are very moist, blankets have dirty spots on them, we had couple of flies in our room. I understand this could be an expensive spot during vacation time, but this is my worst experience with hotels ever.

Nice spot. Not expensive. Bed was comfortable, room could have been a bit cleaner, but I've seen worse. Free limited breakfast. Friendly staff, next to McDonald's and Applebees. Lots of eating spots nearby also. Would stay here again.

The room was clean, I will give them that. I'm a stickler when it comes to checking the beds. First thing that happens is the sheets come off and the inspection begins. You Just never know unfortunately. Besides a few crumbs in the mattress, everything checked out. Although I would highly recommend that they get mattress sealers. I was shocked to find the mattress exposed once sheets and topper was removed. Pur Jacuzzi tub did not blow bubbles… we didnt realoze it until midnight so it was not worth the phone call. The area around the hotel is very business centered. So anything you need is in close proximity. Didn't utilize the free breakfast but the area was full when we checked out. Overall the bed was comfortable, the bathroom could use some renovating (rust on ceiling), and the staff could be a bit more upfront about the holding of funds. But I was pleased with the "free" room. Note: the hotel will charge your card for a percentage of incidentals. In my case, my card was charged twice — still waiting for those charges to "fall off" as the woman at the front desk has promised me over the phone. Since I was not informed of this at check in I was shocked to see charges from them since my room was purchased with points. Update: The original two charges fell off, followed by a larger charge which was refunded yesterday and today — ANOTHER larger charge for the same amount. I have yet another phone call into the hotel.

There's roaches, floors all misformed from the leaking shower. Smells almost like deluted bleach when you walk in, once you get to the second floor smells like urine, imagine from the leaking showers. Nice prices though lol.

Employees are very polite and nice. Room was great. They could just improve the choice for breakfast items.

Always treat you like family. Good clean rooms. ALWAYS stay here!

The room was clean, comfortable and had a safe, fridge, microwave and coffee in the room. The TV was clear and newer. All worked well and the staff was friendly. Thumbs up.

I love this hotel! I'm a youth pastor and I take my youth group of 30+ students here every year since 2014 for a yearly conference. The manager, Sam, has always been so kind and remembers my name and group and always blocks our rooms close together. Since 2014, we've LOVED the renovations they've made on the rooms! They're much more modern and cozy! We love the location near the Applebee's. But the best part really in the customer service. With a big group, it's always a good feeling to know that everything is going to be organized and ready for you when you walk in the door. I trust them to handle our reservations every year!

It's dated and breakfast is not much. Went there for our one year anniversary was dissatisfied. And housekeeping is so rude they where knocking on the door at 10:45 then they called down to front desk and they called the room asking was we about to check out soon. For the money we spent it was not worth the stay plus TV kept going out.

Great place to stay when you are in the area. Love it.

On 18DEC17 9:30 pm I came back from the store and found a bed bug crawling in my sheets. The night before I had been itching on the insides of my thighs and thought it was due to my eczema/allergies (however I never have eczema in the winter), however the insides of my thighs were red, inflamed and had tiny bumps on them. The night I found the bed bug I was livid. I immediately collected the bed bug in a hotel cup and took it downstairs to Kim (desk clerk). I showed it to her and she was very nonchalant. She did not apologize she did not say that she would get me another room, she simply said that they would have to call the exterminator tomorrow to confirm that it was indeed a bed bug. I did NOT like how she was treating the situation so I told her I wanted my money back and that I wanted to get out of the hotel immediately. She then said are you sure its a bed bug. I then dumped the bed bug on the desk to show her that it was indeed a bed bug (even though she already looked in the cup) She then told me rudely to pack my things and come back down stairs so she could check me out. I packed my things quickly (I had bags of Christmas presents everywhere and had to make 3 trips up and down the stairs. Mind you I had just reported earlier today that the side door key card machine was not working, she simply replied it's the battery in the machine and didn't do anything to resolve it) and came back to the desk with the bed bug still in the cup.

I don't know if the adjacent rooms were empty, if the walls are sound resistant, or if the guests were considerate, either way it was very quiet there. Clean room. Fairly comfortable bed.

Horrible experience. Pay a little more and go somewhere else. The hotel was dated and musty. The jacuzzi tub had mold and didn't work. The mattress had no support and the sheets wouldn't stay on. We had to keep getting our entry card reset. The only good thing is that it is convenient to the mall, other stores and restaurants.

The staff was nice enough, but the entire hotel desperately needs to be updated and more thoroughly cleaned. There is a terrible stench walking into the lobby, the paint is chipped all over the doorways in the lobby and rooms, and the fixtures (furniture, sinks, showers) need upgrading. Also, you could tell my non-smoking room allowed smoking at one point in the not too distant past. I stayed 3 nights for the 2017 Seagull Century at Salisbury University so it was very convenient as far as being on Rte 13 and near restaurants and shops, but I will not book a room at this hotel again nor could I recommend friends to stay here. The quality of the accommodations is not on par with the rates I paid.

The mattress on the pull out couch had a Hugh 2 ft stain in the middle of it. I took a picture of it and showed the night manager and just said sorry and said that house keeping must of missed it and did nothing about. My family had to sleep on it. The tub had mold around it. The hallways were sweltering hot and there was no elevator so we had to carry our suit cases up stairs. I expect that at a 60 dollar a night hotel, not a 125 a night one. In the morning I showed to picture of the stain to day manager and he just said sorry and offered no compensation. Stay clear of this location. It is my personal observation that the Choice hotel line of hotels is most definitely in decline. My recent experiences of this chain have not been pleasant.

We stayed at the Quality Inn and had a good experience. The room was clean, quiet and inexpensive. The included breakfast was great especially for the kids. The highlight of our trip came after we got home and my wife couldn't find her diamond wedding ring. We called the hotel and housekeeping had turned in the ring, which we were reunited with.

Nice, front desk and other staff. Breakfast not bad. Room okay. One day had to ask for T. P. Next day had to ask for towels. When we arrived our refrequator was not clean, but after contacting front desk was cleaned immediately. Beds not comfortable; friends also staying at same time (different room) said their bed was fine. Great location. Would probably return, but request another room.

Me and my wife and brother stayed here. We chose this location because the rate wasn't bad and looked fairly nice for the price. However we chose to stay here a night because I dislocated my left ankle and broke my fibula and tore a few ligaments and tendons. I literally left the hospital near Ocean City Md. About 1 hour prior to my arrival at the hotel. When we arrived we checked in. I was on crutches and could barely use them and in a lot of pain. I wasn't offered a wheel chair or a luggage rack. That was no big deal. I did have to struggle getting to my room because it was a ways away. On the way to my room I encountered people sitting in the hall way and standing and kids running. I didn't count how many heads I saw, but If I were to guess I would say 12-15. The kids were yelling and screaming and playing with balls in the hall ways running from one end of the hall to the other. As for the adults bad language and loud talking was coming from their mouths. It seemed as if I was walking into a bad part of a city. All I wanted to do is prop my foot up and get some rest. None the less I walked into my room and straight for the bed. I didn't think much of the activity in the hall way because I thought maybe they were just packing up and leaving. Wishful thinking. It continued for hours. I could hear everything in my room as clear as day. I laid their and thought maybe it would go away. It did not. I was not able to sleep and was getting agitated.

Front desk was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and bug (bedbugs, cockroaches, and the like) free! Very important to me. Breakfast was decent. I would stay again!

Clean and spacious room. Conveniently located to stores and restaurants. Very friendly staff. No frills but definitely a good value.

My family booked 7 rooms and all the rooms were filthy. It started with a horrible smell in every room. The a/c units were hit and miss. My units didn't change the temperature of the room, it just poured more humidity in. Then I had ants crawling all over the bed. Another room we booked had stained linen. And every room had hair everywhere, either on the floor, in the sinks, or even on the "new" towels. We were suppose to stay two nights, we came back for the second night and we found ants all over the room and roaches in the bathroom. One of our neighbors had a cloth chair in their room that was pulled out and was covered in mold…

My mother and I stayed here for one night because of a funeral service, and boy were we glad it was only for one night. First off, we were told check in was at 3 and we got there a little after because of traffic, but upon arrival were told our room wasn't ready (they were still cleaning it). Okay, not a problem, shouldn't be too much longer. After waiting for an hour we go up to see if it's ready and the manager (? ) is like oh yes it's been ready for a few minutes, but I didn't see you out here. We had stepped outside for a walk around the front of the building and they didn't bother telling us when we came back in it was ready. We asked if we could have a late check out then since we couldn't get in our room until 4:30 and had to be somewhere in less than an hour, but the manager gave us some half-assed answer about how people normally want to leave early/check in early so they couldn't. What? We finally get in our room and let me tell you I have never smelled something worse. I got a smoking room for my mom, and normally smoking rooms have some sort of cigarette odor which I'm okay with. This one reeked! Like the cleaning people smoked an entire pack while "cleaning" our room. It was disgusting. The window sill was full of grime and dirt, the toilet was busted so the bottom leaked whenever you sat on it, the towels had stains on them, the curved shower rod was placed halfway in the shower (what's the point in having it then?

DO NOT STAY! The hotel was dirty and smelled like an old bowling alley! Rooms that had a no smoking designation had the smell of smoke. The lobby and hallways had no or very little air conditioning. My daughter woke up on the third morning of our stay and had 40 bug bites on her legs! When I bought it to the attention of the staff and asked them to clean and spray the room they did nothing. After that we did not stay another night. Giving it one star because I have to or it won't post. The best thing that can happen to this place is a bull dozer! Will be filing a complaint with Quality Inn corporate.

Guy at front desk was friendly and helpful. Room clean-ish but dated. TV is an older flat screen with no HDMI input to connect Xbox. Haven't used the bathroom yet so no Intel to share on that subject.

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was a disappointment, the only "hot" food I saw was waffles. I love a hot breakfast so I had to go down the street, there is a McDonald's across the street and an Ihop nearby. There is no exercise room which I usually look for in a hotel. The walls ARE thin and I could hear everyone around me inside their rooms talking. So not much privacy! The room wasn't as clean as I would have liked, it needed some attention to detail. They did earn my stay however by hitting the top 3 on my "Must Have" list: 1. Clean bed 2. No bugs 3. Affordable price There was a mini fridge & a microwave in the room which is another must, in my opinion. I travel a lot and overall the room wasn't bad for the amount of money I spent. :-)

The advertised rates on line are for online only and are not effective for the day it is needed. Be sure to double check. Our driver had to pay 78.00 + taxes & fess even when he booked it online with the online price of $44.00. "Sam" has been very nice and accommodating, but the price issue crashed their stars.

Friendly staff; comfortable. Clean rooms with microwave and refrigerator! Decent hot breakfast! Walmart, Target, Wendys, and Mcdonalds within walking distance! Applebee's. On the same property! Limited gym in building!

We had booked a non-smoking room and they switched us to a smoking room when we arrived because of availability. Our room absolutely reeked of cigarettes. It was so bad that all of our clothing smelled of cigarettes even after we left. Not to mention, we have three children, one of which is 9 months old. They also had roaches and flies in the room. Long story short, "quality" seems to be this hotel's weakest point.

I went to the Quality Inn to visit my husband who was working an out of town job and I have to say that my experience was wonderful. The staff was very friendly… the rooms were spacious with some of the greatest pillows, and that is hard to find. Finally, the continental breakfast was absolutely awesome. Love the waffle maker and the variety of options there. I would definitely return for another stay. Thank you for a great and restful stay :) Sincerely, Diane Yingling.
