The Colony Apartments Apartment

We snagged this deal at $89/night (Passover week) and loved the view, the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room, balcony and affordability. The apartment was clean, the view was spectacular, the staff were friendly and dependable. They did have pots and pans — they weren't spectacular but for the price I can't complain. They didn't leave a Wi-Fi password although I assume there was one because there was a locked guest network available. We had the green room pictured in advertisements and it was as described. The owners have multiple buildings so when you check in (or call for linens) they come back to the building. The wait time is less than 10 minutes and they explain beforehand. The apartment worked for my family of 6 and I can't complain about the amenities because we came to see the beach and everything Ocean City has to offer. Enjoyable experience that I would do again. Fun facts — there is free entertainment just people watching on the boardwalk and the beach is a stones throw away. The dolphins come by around 8:30 AM and are spectacular to watch. You can easily access the pier and boardwalk from the building and it is safe with plenty of security (security, cameras, a locked door at the bottom of the entryway plue locked doors on apartments). The seagulls are fun to watch also and the night life is fun to view on the balcony. Check out free things to do in an elevator and just apply it to talking to folks on the balcony at night.

Where do I begin… Wanted to take my family on a fun vacation and stay at a nice place. What a joke. Nothing like the descriptions on any website you read. Very disappointed. The first room we had was absolutely disgusting. Nothing worked (fridge, TV, sliding door, shower handle). Flys everywhere. Even dead ones on the walls. After several calls to management we were finally switched to a semi descent room. And they gave us a fly swatter (amen) No local TV channels so you can't watch the news. Free Wifi is obsolete. Unless you walk out the back door and sit there. Forget about parking. You have a small space, but don't plan to take your car anywhere. It's so tight you may not get it back in the spot again. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Very very disappointed it has ruined my entire vacation.

This place is as bad in the management department as it is in the condition of the apartment. They kept my deposit cause they said we had extra people stay there, so not true. One person only stayed one night n another only 4. They were not able to produce any proof of this and I kept calling trying to get an answer. At one point they told me it was a mistake and I'd get my check in the mail. The next conversation was "no I never said that". Nasty people, I tried to be reasonable but to no avail. Kept my 350$ deposit. Crooks! Bathrooms smelled like a outhouse. Appliances were really out dated. I would advise not staying here, ever!
