It is very clean I love going there every year and a nice pool and great food when your at the pool.

No maid service unless requested. Could have been much cleaner! the jacuzzi tub in the room didn't work and the Jacuzzis outside weren't very clean or hot! I hope they make some needed improvements because it's definitely not what it was☹️

I stay here at least 3 times a season. My favorite place to stay. Friendly staff, excellent location, great pool and pool bar with live entertainment. I love the plim ❤

If you have children who have a sleep schedule, the bands are very loud. Especially on the pool side. The hot tubs are warm at best. The parking is a nightmare and unloading spots. Beds sink in the middle. Location is great.

Greatest place in OCMD! The staff is wonderful! Won’t go anywhere else but here!

Rooms were clean, lots of hot water for showers, beds were comfortable, pool and bar area were nice and they had entertainment every day and evening.

Had no towels in the room, sink handles were falling off, and to top that off room next to me was blaring music. When I tried to call the front desk, but the phone in room didn’t work and I was told the quit time starts at 11. I have music from the pool on one side and this other room right at my head.

There was no soap at all in the bathroom, only 2 towels, room was dirty, dirty wash cloths we're left in the bath tub. No bath mat, hallways were like a very hilly road. Luggage carts we're falling apart. Checked out early. I would not recommend this place at all.

Yes the pool is nice, pool side bar and that it stays open until 10/1030. Wish we had Ocean front. We didn't like the room we were in. Parking lot scenery. Rooms could of used cleaning more, could at lease have microwave in the room. We enjoyed our self meet nice people.

Very very small rooms, we had hair on our bed sheets, toilet was broken and leaking everytime it was flushed, mold on bathroom wall and windows. Rooms wouldn't get cleaned, we had to hunt down employees for clean towels. They clean their rooms at 9pm when kids are trying to sleep. The only good thing is it's right on the boardwalk.

Spent this last weekend there with 2 friends for a girls weekend and had the best experience! The hotel is right on the boardwalk and beach. That was so cool to not have to move our car once during the trip since everything was right there. Their pool, live entertainment and pool bar were amazing. But what really made our trip enjoyable was the staff, they were all so friendly and kind! On our first night we had an issue with our ac and the front desk was just so amazing. They handle the issue and had me laughing as they did. Highly recommend this hotel and will be coming again!

Very disgusting and musty hotel. Only one of our outlets in our room worked, the sheets were stained when we arrived, our shower head was built up with gunk, all of the hallways reeked of weed and cigarettes, there’s no sense of direction when you’re trying to find your room number it’s like a maze. There’s a constant running water sound and the bath towels had holes in them.

This place is disgusting, the smell is musky and smoky in every room and hallway. The sheets are stained and disgusting the screens had holes you couldn’t even open a window and the towels were gray with holes. Nothing in this hotel has ever seen bleach in its life. Never again!

Wonderful nice place on the boardwalk. Very clean Olympic size pool with a very good pool bar that also serves food. Also can’t forget the live parrot in the lobby who also will hang around the pool bar!

Where do I start? staff unfriendly. Place stinks of marijuana and cigarettes. Drains clogged. Bugs. And just plain dirty. The night manager Becky is rude and obnoxious and even threatened a teenager with. Violence. How an owner would have that nasty woman run their hotel is beyond. Me. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I think I'm going to Ocean City for 50 years and this was the worst. My legs are all bit up what was probably from bed bugs.

Just stayed there this past weekend. Horrible place. Dirty walls floors windows bed. Only thing clean was the lobby. Ocean front views from small windows inside small rooms. Too expensive for the terrible experience. Pool bar overcrowded with no social distancing. No masks being worn by staff or guests. Dirty hot tubs. Rude bartenders. Nasty food. Disgusting. I’m looking for a refund.

Constant marijuana smell in all hallways. Rooms are ENTIRELY too small. Nowhere to hang towels. No closet to hang anything. Housekeeping staff is loud as hell and yelling in the mornings while cleaning. Good location. Pool is nice with the pool bar and live music. Would not stay again. No way.

I had reservations for this hotel from June 7th to June 10th, two adults and two children. As we arrived, there were people parked all over the place, in parking spaces and in the towing zone. It was extremely unorganized and tight to drive through since I have an SUV. I went in to check in around 12pm, and was told the room was not ready yet which I expected due to check-in being 3pm. My family and I went out to sit on the porch, which was dirty and had trash all over it. We found a clean spot and sat down for a while then went to walk to boardwalk for lunch. We got back around 2pm and asked if the room was ready yet and was told that it will be a few minutes. We used the restroom which was tiny and had no soap or towels and was just as dirty as the porch. There are sofas in the lobby, so we went to sit down and there was dirt and trash all over the floor of the lobby. I had a one year old with us and had to pick her up due to her knees being black from all the dirt. At 3pm, we asked about the room again, and was told that it was a few minutes again. We waited until 4:30pm and asked again, and was told the same thing. At this point the manager, who was walking around the lobby barefoot, was arguing with a maintenance man and threw papers at him while yelling that this is "f**king ridiculous". I had enough of the poor service that I requested a refund and left. We went to Safari Motel on 13th street and they were amazing like always!

The staff seems overwhelmed and unhappy. Rooms are super small. Actually, everything down to the hallways is small. The 1 and only elevator takes years to get to the floor you are on and if it starts to shut on you, it will leave a mark like you were physically abused. The parking, wait, there is no parking. If you aren't lucky enough to grab one of the 15 spots in front of the hotel, you have to park 80 miles away in an unmanned parking lot and walk back to the hotel. This hotel is best for a 17 year old without any standards. Will not be returning and hopefully the staffed is rehomed to a place that appreciates them.

On boardwalk, cheap rates, people are friendly.

We checked in early, the lobby seemed nice and clean and updated, staff was friendly, everything was great until we got up to our room. The hallways immediately smelled of cigarettes. Our room was the smallest hotel room I’ve ever seen. Our bed was broken, the toilet flushed very slowly, there was mold inside the shower on the ceiling, the carpets had numerous stains. This place was all around DISGUSTING. Do not waste your time or money staying here. The only good thing about this place was the staff was nice, we immediately went back down to the lobby to check out, they thankfully refunded us the entire amount since we had just checked in.

Great Location. Great Pool, rooms are kinda small but your not here to live in them. Bartender was kinda rude about the grill being closed.

Ahhhh the Plim, an OC original. Squeaky floors and little quiet on a Saturday night. We love this place. Great staff, prices are reasonable, clean rooms and a deck out front to watch the freakshow all day long.

Fun place to stay, Love being on the boardwalk. Great Bar and swimming pool. Been staying here for year's.

One of our favorite spots in OC! All the convenience you need wrapped up in one spot. Nice hotel, private pool with a pool bar, restaurant and live music. Great staff. And most important, so close to all the action of the beach, boardwalk and pier. No driving or long walk back to the hotel at the end of the night. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a great time, yes the room was small and the halls had a slight musty to them. But the location is great and how much time do you really spend in the room? We did luck out and got upgraded to a ocean view room which made our experience more positive. At night you could hear the live music from the bar but it wasn't too bad. Overall for the price I enjoyed my stay. But avoid the buffet in the basement yuck.

The location is very good, but the rooms are very small and dated. Housekeeping never came by, so after a day on the beach we returned to unmade beds and dirty towels. Front desk didn't have any linens but would send some up when they got them (which ended up being late in the evening). Walls are thin as well, so you can hear everything that goes on in the room next to you. I wanted to like this place, but small rooms and lousy service make this hard to recommend. Spend a little extra money and find a nicer place.

Actually a decent room. Our room is clean, no mold or musty smell. This is a smoke friendly hotel, and even though I no longer smoke I didn't find it to be strong in smell. Love the pool area with bar. Nice little menu for bar food as well.

The front desk area gives you false hope for the Rooms, very out dated and incredible small hotel rooms and bathrooms. We had to relocate our room four different times in a four day stay. Buckets of water were leaking from the room above us in the bathroom. The woman who was working the front desk that night acted as though it was our fault and she wanted us to stay in that room until maintenance could look at it the next morning, had to put our foot down to get moved. The manger on duty the next day was very nice and refunded our money for two nights though. Pool, hot tubs and bar are nice though! Wouldn't stay here again!

Great place right outside the boardwalk. Bathroom is small. Service is good and pool is amazing, the hot tub is awesome too! The front deck is a great place for morning coffee. Could fix a couple things but a great hotel overall.

Excellent location on the boardwalk. We stay here every year. There was a major water leak in our room, but was fixed by the helpful staff. Free coffee is a plus. Hopefully at some point they will put screens in the windows so the room doesn't fill with flies every time you open it to enjoy the ocean view. Recently renovated room a plus. Overall nice affordable hotel. Would recommend to anyone!

Pretty disappointed. We stay multiple times a year for the last 5-6 years. This time we are told we can't put 5 people in one room. Two being toddlers that sleep in pack and plays. Plus 1 teen and 2 adults. I get it, rules are rules. But toddlers shouldn't account for 2 people. We are taking our business to Gateway. Rooms look nicer anyways PS: did you know your hotel is on the list for bedbugs? Surprisingly, you're on of the few from OC.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. First time was August of 2016. I had a balcony room. This time around no balcony rooms were available so I choose a oceanfront on the 4th floor. The room was small, bathroom window was broken and the wallpaper was peeling. Otherwise this is a great location to all attractions and the pool is great! You get what you pay for, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel advertises 3 Jacuzzis. Only 2 of them had water in them and they didn't work. When I asked about it I was told by the staff that the motor was not working. This place is very run down and outdated. Hallways were filthy. By the looks of it they hadn't been vacuumed in a while. We found a used condom in our room behind the bedside table, so rooms are not cleaned very well. The bathroom is so small that we had to sit sideways on the toilet to use it because it was so close to the tub that you couldn't sit on it facing forward. The only nice thing about this place was the pool and bar area, but the drinks were very pricey and watered down. Would not stay here again.

Rooms are like a box. Very out dated. Pool is packed and looks nothing like pictures. Hotel is run down needs updates. Its on boardwalk and easy beach access. Front porch nice. Staff was nice. Would not stay again.

Cute place right on the boardwalk. Has a coffee shop and an all-you-can-eat Smorgasbord attached. Also has a Caribbean pool bar and grill with free live entertainment upstairs. And a very cool seating area to sit and watch people passing by on the boardwalk. Didn't stay here overnight, just visited a friend but it seemed like a decent place.

This place is soooo dated. Our air conditioner didn't work the first night. They put a new one for the second night and that one kept turning off too. Two hot nights and no one seemed to care. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything, yes everything going on in other rooms. The rooms are the size of my daughters bedroom. It's got a bed, fridge and a dresser. You can literally sit on the toilet, wash your feet in the tub and wash your hands in the sink at the same time. That's how small the bathroom is. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. If your looking for a discounted hotel this is your place. Just don't look at the mold on the ceiling. Out of sight, out of mind.

Pictures look great. But the actual rooms are not. Booked a non smoking room in late summer and constantly regretted cheaping out on a room as it smelled awful of smoke. Also it is very apparent that the pictures on the websites must be of the 1 or 2 rooms that actually look nice, as the ones I could see inside of all looked like mine. Old and dirty.

Always love staying here. In a great location, they have done some updates, but they need more. Good value for price of room.

Rooms and entire hotel is small and dated. It's a great spot along the boardwalk and the pool and pool bar are nice for families or friends. The prices aren't high overall, they are a tad under other places. I personally wouldn't stay here because I think it's a mess. Only if it was substantially less than other hotels. Run by the Harrison group so you have good ownership here. Just not A lot of money put into the hotel. They try to give value to families. Most who stay here say they had fun and are happy.

We've stayed here many times over the past several years. They have done a lot of work to the hotel since the first time we stayed there. The location is amazing, the rooms are nice (nothing spectacular though). I definitely recommend them.

Hotel is in a great location because it's right on the boardwalk. They have a great pool for those who don't like the beach like myself. The bands that they get are great. However several upgrades needs to be done within the hotel especially for the prices of their rooms. You would expect to see some improvements over the years.

So let me tell you about the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel room. First off the pictures are a lie. Second off the moment I opened the door to my room the room had a odor of a deceased cat. Third off the bathroom had used hair inside the tub. Now let me tell you about the fact the house keepers would knock on our door early so we politely asked them to come back after. For three days this occurred and for three days they did NOT clean our room. Every night I would complain and have to go down to the front desk and ask for towels to shower. How insane is that. Also the parking lot is the size of a shack store so have fun parking streets away! Over priced and nasty hotel do not stay here! Save your money. PS The bed is VERY uncomfortable, and our hotel rooms door (529) was shaved to short so every night I had to use a towel to block the hallways light from entering the room.

Hotel location is good. Pricing was fair. Overall the hotel is pretty dirty and outdated. Pool and hot tubs need to be redone. 2/3 hot tubs didn't work. Drunk people and smoking everywhere. Maid staff was friendly and did a good job but it's hard to shine a turd. Non smoking rooms have smokey/weird smells. We will probably use a different hotel next year.

It really should have been a 1 star review but due to the great location on the boardwalk I bumped it to a 2 star review. The rooms had a ridiculously strong scent of mildew and mold (actual mold on bathroom ceiling) The shower constantly changed from scorching hot to ice cold and the we could not open the fridge because it smelt like an animal died 7 years ago in the fridge. After our 1st night I woke up stuffy, coughing, sore throat, you name it. I decided to check the AC filter… good lord this thing was BLACK with dust caked on it. I cleaned it myself which is unacceptable. However I will say the staff was very polite and pleasant and the lobby/out door deck area was very nice. But the rooms, unacceptable. Not too mention we were in a non smoking section but the whole hallway smelt like cigarettes and weed smell. We definitely will not be staying here again.

The hotel itself was great. The employees were very professional and kind. The pool and lounge area with table service was excellent. The location is great. Can walk right out onto the beach. The 3 star rating is do to the room I was given on the third floor at the very end of the hallway. The bathroom had mold in it and was very out dated. Rust on the light fixtures. Bath tub could be replaced also.

Definitely in need of update. Still we come for one week every summer in August! Staff is always nice, main lobby is well taken care of. Pool, hot tub, two outdoor seating areas. Elevator is always in working order, steps are good in building and outside. Two parking lots.

They mean it when they say 2 star hotel. Don't have high expectations when you book here but, it is directly on the boardwalk, and surrounded by things to do. Nothing fancy here. Only a practical room. Great customer service though. We had an issue with our room and management issued us a new one. We are so grateful!

Hotel is dirty. They messed up our reservactions was here on our honeymoon and had to cut it a day short cuz of an error on there part. Sheets were not changed all week tubs were not clean. Water was shut off twice during our stay. Bathroom window couldn't be closed do to missing crank. Looks on website very deceiving compared to reality. Will never stay here again.

To even give this hotel a star is a joke. Hotel Hell is what I have named it. We stayed 3 days and each day the water had to be shut off for some reason or another, then we had to wait the rest of the days for the hot water to start working again. Our toilet had to be continuously plunged, the bed broken. The place stinks… it was really great walking out in the morning to the smell of the septic tank being sucked out. Parking is a joke, nothing like having to walk 3 blocks to the extra parking area. I also am pretty sure the maids just put carts in the hallway to appear like they are doing something. Also, there is nothing they can do for you, as we booked through Expedia, so they dont care. I cant even begin to explain the smallness of the rooms, fully equippee with full… *ahem* I mean double sized beds. The comforters sure are steller… a fleece blanket in between two sheets. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I will end this rant on a positive note though, that I enjoyed the coffee bar out front, and the bar area was nice.

The hotel was average. Parking isn't the best set up of there aren't anymore available spaces. Only one parking pass per room which is inconvenient for two families sharing a room. The bar was great and the location was good. The rooms were very small and didn't appear to be thoroughly cleaned. Coming here for senior week? Perfect. A nice family vacation? Pass.

Small and old, but pool was nice. Sadly they didn't tell us till months later there was legionnaires disease there. My husband had been coughing for months but it was done by the time we got notice. He uses a cpap machine. Have stayed there since a child, location is the best qualification. I see it was 2011, and is searchable online.

Me and 3 other people stayed in a room it was small room but we liked it. Would stay here again. It was REALLY nice having the hotel so close to the beach. They also had fresh fruit everyday in front lobby. Hallways stunk but u can get over it, you don't sleep in the hallway so.

The rooms are small and kind of outdated but the staff is friendly. The only problems I had was the fire alarm went off twice when we were there and we only stayed 2 nights and the people staying in hotel. The people above us had 15 people in one room having a party jumping up and down and the people beside us had music up. Had to call front desk twice to try and fix the problem they sent a guard up but 30 mins after the guard left the people started jumping up and down, smoking, and playing loud music. I was up till 5am. If you want sleep I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Our fist time staying at this hotel. I was worry about the reviews I read. So I was prepared. Yes the rooms are small the hallway narrow that was not our problem. The rooms have a strong odor so we got our own spray, also no place to hang wet clothes maybe this is why the rooms smell. The good thing is that we did not stay in the room all day. The location is convenient the pool was GREAT with music, the front desk was awesome people are nice. They have free coffee and fruits. If you ask me if I would stay again. I really have to think about it cause I really like to sit in the morning outside in the balcony and get fresh air when I'm going to bed, also more space to put wet clothes.

We have stayed here for the past 5 years, the price is affordable and the pool, pool bar and entertainment are huge perks. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating. Yes, rooms are small and not always the cleanest but this isnt the Hilton… Its convenient to everything you need and the location is excellent… I would continue to stay here, but If your looking to spend your vacation in your room then its not for you… Over all I have always enjoyed my stay regardless that some things arnt perfect.

This hotel is in a perfect location with a great pool but… The hallways stank like marijuana and the rooms stank like smoke. We checked in and checked right back out the room was absolutely disgusting! Everything was so old and I would never have slept in those beds! The rooms are incredibly small and gross!

It was a room to stay in, nothing more. Great location but the ONLY hotel in ocmd with no balconies. Can't beat the price.

Great location, DIRECTLY ACROSS from the beach. On and off Wi-Fi problems. The hotel is tight-spaced and old. Could be more to the breakfast than just fruit and coffee. When booking, make sure not to stay on the floor of the lobby or floor 2 because they own a parrot that's very loud. Very great hotel, overall. Worth the price.

DISGUSTING! My husband and I checked into the Plim Plaza and found that our room was so dirty and stinky I can't believe this place is in business. There were paint drips everywhere, walls were falling apart, toilet leaked when you flushed it, bugs crawling on the walls. I couldn't imagine spending the night there so we checked out after about 3-4 hours and found another hotel. Do not waist your time here.

Horrible, absolutely horrible. Don't waste your money on this place. I'm sure the positive comments are people who work there. Paid over 100 dollars for what was basically a broom closet. Smelt horribly of lysol. The walls are so thin you can hear everything anyone does. The carpets were stained all over, and apparently the lobby is a hang out for everyone and there grand mother. It was my first time in ocean city and my wife and I checked out of that hotel with in 3 hrs of being checked in. Absolutely horrible experience.

Their was no balconies, the pool is claimed to be the "biggest in Ocean City", and it's not. So fustrating.

This was my first time visiting Ocean City MD and judging by the other reviews I was expecting a less than stellar experience at Plim Plaza offset by the convenience of being so close to the boardwalk. In short, the hotel is at least 15 years past due on a renovation. The owners should be ashamed of themselves for charging people $200+ per night for a filthy, smelly, horrible, and dissapointing experience. Its a very old hotel so I didn't have high expectations but even still our double room (ROOM 412) was extremely small to the point that the four of us could barely move around in it. When we arrive the carpet reeked of Pine Sol which made me wonder what they were covering up. The wallpaper was falling off the walls, there were holes in the walls, and only a few electrical outlets worked which was annoying for a family with lots of electronic devices that needed charging. While packing our bags a cock roach ran across the wall which made us all freak out! They have parrots on the property which is cool aside from the fact that they are able to move around and defocate on the floor which is disgusting and people walk all over it since no one on staff was in a hurry to clean it up. To top off the whole experience when I told the front desk upon check-out that we spotted a cock roach in the room they seem totally unsurprised and didn't even offer me a discount, refund, or even a token apology.

Loved this place! location is great, going back down in September for a week! Maid service was very nice and hotel staff was also very nice to me~ can not wait to stay there again~

I love it there I met my two best friends there my friend josh and my lovely boyfriend Dakota yes he is your bird and I love your guys hotel its amazing.

Location is the only thing going for this hotel. We will never come back! We had two children under the age of 3 and were right above the band. So we got to listen to that every night til 11pm. Also, the bathroom was disgusting. There was soap mildew everywhere and hair all over the walls and tub. Gross!

I had the best 4 day's there. The pool and bar are awesome. The room was great. Already booked my vacation there for next year. Will be staying a week.

Whatever you do, do NOT book this hotel. First off the housekeeper dug through my make up bag, grabbed a lip liner pencil to write her name on the tip card. That was NOT acceptable. Then I went to get my $200 chi straightener and the housekeeper stole it. This place is not safe with your belongings. On top of it, the manager would not do anything about this and was completely rude. I've been going here for years but after that situation and the audacity of the staff I will NEVER return and I want to warn everyone what this hotel is up too.

We just stayed at the Plim for the first time for the past four days. Location wise I personally enjoyed this however the room was very small, no microwaves in the rooms & we were told not to bring any plug in items such as an electric skillet, crock pot etc as it would blow fuses. I call that a problem from the word go. Also the wallpaper in our room was lumpy looking, in placing your hand on the walls you could feel where the wallpaper covered holes in the wall. All in all our family vacation went well but if we are to stay again a larger room would be desirable. The staff was polite & helpful, the hotel pool was a favorite for us all.

I stayed at Plim Plaza last weekend. The location is great; it's close to everything. All of the personnel were extremely friendly. I also liked that it had its own pool bar with live entertainment. The room and bathroom were both decently sized and clean. Another good thing is that it didn't cost an arm and a leg to stay there. I would definitely recommend Plim Plaza to other visitors to Ocean City. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

This place is just horrible! The rooms were small and the beds we gross. The live band was awful at night esp. When your trying to sleep. Noone was comfortable taking a shower or bath in the room. The sink was falling off the wall, the "closet" space was very tiny. Everything about it was awful! I do not reccomend staying here. Like: Location was the only good thing here. dislike: everything.

My family and I have stayed here for two years in a row now and I think this hotel is one of the better ones at OCMD. The staff are very kind and accommodating. We will continue to stay here year after year! Great job Plim! They have a great little tiki bar out back that plays live music and has a great swimming pool! The lobby is gorgeous and very welcoming. It is just a few steps to the beach and sits right on the boardwalk on 2nd street. Great shopping, eating, and entertainment all in just a few steps. This passed weekend, we stayed here and the staff accommodated us to be on the same floor as my mother and step-father for no extra charge and even upgraded our room. Amazing customer service if you ask me! No the hotel is not fancy, its bare bones, but it def is worth the price and being located where they are makes up for the décor. Thank you Plim for a wonderful vacation two years and counting.
