Review of Comfort Inn 2*

My husband and I stayed there from 2/15-2/17. We checked out around 10am, when I arrived home 3 hours later I realized I had left a grocery bag with mail and some things I had gotten for my daughter. I called comfort inn and the attendant at the desk went to check the closet where I'm 100% positive I left the bag and she said nothing was there but would get in touch with housekeeping and find out where the bag was put. I don't normally forget items but when I have, the hotel has called me and either shipped the items to me or if I was close I'd pick them up. I have never gone through something like this. I wasn't feeling well when I packed up to head out or I'm sure I would have grabbed the bag. There were important papers in the bag, a couple @ipsy makeup bags and items which are the highlight of my daughters second week of every month. I don't have alot of money but I signed her up for this. I'm questioning the integrity of the housekeeper who cleaned the room I stayed in. Also, I cleaned the room prior to leaving. Placed all the trash in the cans neatly. Left all the dirty towels and such in the tub. Fixed the bed up. It just amazes me how an individual can lie about things. Even the manager is taking up for her. I'm sure she tossed the important mail and kept the bags and makeup items. I hope she enjoys them and remember that Karma is a thing. We will not be returning to this hotel EVER AGAIN! I plan to call corporate and put a complaint on this hotel as well. While it isn't their fault I left the bag, I was told protocol was that any items found in a room be placed in lost and found, and the customer called. None of this happened. I only stay at choice hotels but this one is forever black listed for us! Other guests please be vigilant that you remember all of your items when checking out. PS we were in room 310 and the entire time there was loud music and partying on what seemed to be the entire floor.
