Went for a 2 day conference, so I was only in the large meeting room downstairs. It served the purpose well, however previous guests had closed AC vents causing condensation to form and leak on some of the tables. Some were upset about it, but I dokt think it was a big deal. The food was amazing both days. Real, hearty home-cooked style meals. Great place to have a meeting.

Dirty rooms and very poorly soundproofed.

No hot water in room 200 which is a big joke with locals. I had many shower heads but only one worked. I had a dirty room (200) and dirty cup under coffee maker. My bed was made each day I stayed but that was the only good thing I can say about my room. Don't book this hotel for any reason.

I definitely had higher expectations. I haved stayed in “inexpensive” hotels in the sea and this by far was the worst. The floors were not properly mopped… not many hotels have hard wood. There was hair and leftovers from the previous guests very apparent so NO we didn’t take a shower. The lamp at the bed was visibly very old and behold it didn’t work, it was very dusty on the exterior. The bathroom fixtures were not clean. We never expect the best to our standards when it’s just one night in and out, however we expect at least the basic cleaning detail. Very disappointed and will definitely pass in several future trips as my twin boys are now attending LSU so looking for a regular nice place often! Great location for our needs but standard is not at all even average, definitely below for the area. Tried it… Hated it!

After moving to a 3rd room I have no complaint. The 1st rooms sleep number bed was broken, the 2nd room shower door was broken. The maid was vacuuming the hall at 830 and banging against the doors with the vacuum. Rooms are clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.

The floors were NOT cleaned properly and mold on the shower floor and shower door. We did not feel comfortable enough to let our children's feet with socks on to touch the floor to go to bathroom. Other Radisson experiences were far from this. Another room was offered to us, but we declined. The front desk staff were very nice.

We were a little disappointed with our stay at the Radisson. The first room's air conditioner rocked, rattled and rolled so we were move to another room. My husband was excited to share with me that this hotel advertised sleep number beds. We had been talking about them for some time now and now we were having an opportunity to try them for two nights. There was not a remote to be found anywhere but by the time we came back for the evening a remote had been supplied. Note: The beds were not impressive as we had originally thought they would be. We were also excited about all of the 'jets' on the shower wall. Unfortunately they did not work. The sliding shower door was broken off of the tracks as well and the shower leaked terribly. Lastly, they did not provide complimentary coffee in the morning. They wanted $2 a cup! Thankfully the little coffee brewer in the room did not leave that strange 'taint' like most. The location was great for where we needed to be but we will not be staying there in the future. There are many other choices in the same area.

This hotel has been one of the best that I've stayed in, in Baton Rouge so far. It isn't super fancy but it is nice and has the necessities. Free Wi-Fi, comfy bed, awesome shower, very roomy, and reasonably priced. When I go back to Baton Rouge I'll more than likely be staying here again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Fantastic staff who are friendly and professional. Gorgeous clean rooms, hardwood floors and super plush comfortable beds. The shower is amazing and even the furniture is very nice. My favorite place to stay in Baton Rouge hands down.

Didn't meet expectations at all for the rate paid. Had issues with the key cards multiple times. Lights kept going off when they got hot, which gave off ALOT of heat. Elevators very small. Pool and hot tub is a joke. No hot tub. Needs to be renovated extremely bad! Smells the mold and mildew. You will also have to pay for coffee ($2.00/cup) in the lobby.

The stay was nice. Also the people at the bar were extremely nice. However the funny looking Lil manager has the worst attitude. She acts as though she hates her job. When my husband first got there she gave him an attitude and did not explain about an extra $50 charged to his account. The next day I asked her for towels and they were never sent. I asked her about towels and all she had to say was “well I told him to bring them”. I found out she was the manager because after asking for one she said she was. He attitude and not answering our question about the stay made it bad. We are not going back because of her having no respect to our stay. Bad mangers are bad for business. Even worst I had a tooth ache and was so miserable. I needed the towels for ice and a bath to try to relax.

Disliked my experience at this hotel. Booked a king room got two doubles instead. We were not offered any accommodations to fix the mishap in rooms that was their fault. Didn't have a fridge. Pool and sauna were out of order, Coke machine was down. To get Ice you had to go to the third and fourth floors. Beds were squeaky and old. Overall not a pleasant experience.

Rooms are beautiful and cozy. Walk in shower with 3 shower heads! Great staff and location is great. Has a restaurant and bar and they also offer room service with affordable prices. Also has a nice pool area with plenty of privacy.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was stunning, the staff was SO friendly, and when I came into town, Louisiana had been hit with this snow storm that shut down the entire state and I had popped a tire while moving from Colorado to Florida. When I went to check out at 11 am on Jan 17th, the woman working the front desk helped me figure out a route to get to Discount Tire despite the freeways being shut down, and even called them to make sure they were open. I wish I had gotten her name! She was so kind, I hope her manager sees this and gives her a raise! (Side note, the bed was so comfy and the room was so dark, that I fell asleep so fast and didn’t wake up all night. It was the best sleep I’ve had in years. )

Great team! Each & everyone of them. Friendly & effecient. Rooms were clean, super cool shower, very comfortable bed. We lead learning workshops all over the country & this was our 3rd time here. Meeting rooms are great, always clean & set exactly like we want. Absolutely recommend!

I checked in around 9pm, and when I got to my room there was a pile of dirty towels outside the door to my room. When I opened the door, a hotel staff member was in the bathroom and she said she was cleaning it and restocking it. She quickly exited and left me to my room, but from that point on I felt uneasy about the room cleanliness. Then I found private financial documents from the previous guest still in the trash in the room (huge privacy problem there). It got me wondering just how well was the room actually cleaned. I have no idea. But in the bathroom there was mold in the shower, and unidentifiable fluids dried to the wall. And there was an old razor! Disgusting! Then let's talk about design… the walls looked unfinished with terrible designs shaped into the spackle throughout the whole room. And the cabinets are designed to hold a mini fridge, but it was empty and gross (like maybe there use to be a fridge in there). Then finally, next to the bed there were NO OUTLETS available, so I had to leave my phone across the room where they have an ugly power strip attached to the wall. Lastly… don't even get me started on the ridiculous 1970s style shower controls and the fact that the Sleep Number bed remote was broken (maybe get cheaper beds and fix up the hotel a bit). Radisson needs to get a lesson in modern design and update their hotels!

Cozy Cave. Rooms were extremely too dark for me. Reminded me of a horror show. In dire need of updating. Sheets were clean. Very professional staff. Quiet. No problems but will not stay at this location again. Very uncomfortable surroundings.

Nice gym, but half of the machines were broken/needed repair. Several maintenance issues, but staff was quick to respond. Sheets were damp on 2 of the 5 days we stayed, and my roommate had issues with the shower's temperature. Lovely pool and great staff, cool architectural design (inside and out), as well as a great breakfast! Staff also left out awesome chocolate chunk cookies by the elevator!

The Radisson Hotel in Baton Rouge, LA was one of the most conveniently located hotel we've stayed in. We got to walk to most of our favorite restaurants, and it's right around the corner from Parrain's Restaurant. It's an amazing seafood restaurant that has other options as well for non-seafood lovers. Huge non-smoking room with double beds, fridge, and etc. The beds had remotes for you to adjust for comfort. That was great because we were able to adjust the bed to something familiar to our beds at home. The breakfast in the morning was awesome. The breakfast server there provided fantastic service. The stay was fantastic. Each floor had a different theme and it was great to see how cool the hotel looked on different floors. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel looks much nicer online than in real life. The staff was very friendly which I was very thankful for, but the hotel just didn’t feel very clean. The rooms have that damp feeling in them (from the window units I assume) and it just felt kind of grimey. I’ve stayed in worse, but I’ve definitely stayed in better. This hotel is exactly what I’d imagine college-aged guys staying in for a game day, but it was not my cup of tea. I would give 2.5 stars though instead of just 2 if that were an option.

Attempted to check in at 2:50pm but was told by rude front desk staff we would need to wait until 3pm check (10 mins) we loaded our luggage on a cart and waited. We requested a King bed room and they gave us 2 queen beds. We went back to the front desk and advised we requested a King bed and the reply was, “Well, that’s all we have”. Very rude front staff personal. Spoke to manager and she will attempt to accommodate us but we will need to wait.

I think my favorite thing about my stay here was the bathrooms. They were very modern and had great showers especially considering the cost of the hotel. I also enjoyed the hardwood floors as opposed to the standard carpeting of post hotels. The mattresses could use some updates but overall the cleanliness and utility of the rooms was top-notch. I think my only negative was my room wasn't quite ready on time but shortly after 3.

We booked this on short notice (same day) after our aborted experience at another Baton Rouge hotel 5mi away. The rate was great (even though we were travelling with a small dog), the staff, room serice, and room were top notch. On top of that, it's a great location… accessible to LSU, I-10 & I-12, and local shopping. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Very clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Nicely decorated lobby and room. Very friendly staff. Hotel is pet friendly. Would've given five stars if the a/c worked.

It was awesome. Great place to stay in Baton Rouge. Room was nice and clean. Water stayed on hot though, but it had a nice shower system with jetties and shower wand. The pool shallow but was nice and warm because it was a hot day.

UPDATE: After finding charges on my credit card for 2 nights that were not supposed to be charged to me, I called to speak to a manager during business hours TWICE and left a friendly message both times, and nobody has called back. I gave it a few days in between each phone call. Pretty sad management if you ask me. OLD REVIEW: Friendly staff, decent pool & rooms. A little run down. The handle on the dresser was falling off. It had been attempted to be repaired with the wrong screw, obviously it didn't work. The bathroom lighting is pretty awful. Very dim, & even a crack on the light was repaired with blue painters tape.?! The shower is roomy and nice. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean. The breakfast at the bistro was a lot better than what you would expect. Real scrambled eggs, potatoes, fresh buttered biscuits, grits, pastries.

The service at the desk was pretty good. I got a suite and dor the orice I paid, I would have expected a cleaner room. Sink was filthy, ice chest was filthy, sofa stained. Pool area was ok; no cushions for the seats, no towels at pool. Location is perfect for whatever. I would not stay here again unless it was my last choice.

Our stay at The Radisson in Baton Rouge started with being given a room that was already occupied. So as you can imagine, we slid our key in the door and walked into what we though was our room, only to be faced with another couple who were staying in that room. When I went down to the concierge to get it sorted out, I did not receive an apology. The man simply asked "was the other couple mad? " After finally getting the correct room, my boyfriend and I were very disappointed in the fact that the TV reception was so low that every ten seconds it was pausing and saying "no signal. " The inspection cirtificate displayed in the elevator was expired and the mattress on our bed was broken on one side. Overall, I was shocked at the below average quality and service at the hotel. I would not recommend staying there at all.

Hotel is in a great location and has a pub and restaurant on site. The pool area is very nice and relaxing and the best part is if you're traveling with a pet you're allowed to pay a pet fee to keep the bed in the room. Downside to the hotel was they had really nice showers but the hot water was luke warm and felt more cold than it did it. If I were in the area I would stay here again.

The good: no carpets, great shower, comfortable bed, nice looking rooms and hotel. The bad: The bathroom had a permanent bad smell. Dead pregnant cockroach on the floor. Right next to major highway. So do not stay here if you need quiet! Overall decent to ok.

Good spot but really close to the freeway it so can get a bit loud at night. Otherwise good hotel.

Not too hard to find. Nice area. Hallways stink like old wet carpet. At first glance the room is awesome. Then I started to notice that the floors could have been cleaned better. The beds could be far better. Unfortunately, I found the bath mat with pubic hair and many other hairs. Finding this I checked the towels and found one of the towels had the same thing. I came here to relax and unwind to have to worry about if anything in the room has been laundered. The shower was not a disappointment. However, the main shower head should be replaced. The A/C was perfect since I might as well like to sleep in an igloo. The alarm clock was damaged. The elevator was another issue that should be addressed at least the front one. I feel that it should be in better working order. The back one is inoperative which would hinder guests if the need arises. Richard did help me, but he didn't really seem too excited to do his job. I recommend a map of the hotel for guests as well as some info as to the Wi-Fi be attached to this. Cleanliness needs to improve or some sort assurance that it has been done.

I am rating this hotel as a 3 hotel because although the place was beautiful, its beauty masked som3 serious update issues that needs to accur before it can be rated a 5 star hotel, i. E; the bathrooms need remodeling. The room appeared to be clean on the surface but upon closer inspection it was not dusted or wiped down to the point were you could visibly see build up. Also upon my arrival I had to call down to the front desk and request some type of air freshener because the room smelled of what seemed to be dampness (not 100% sure) I will say this. Their staff are impeccable. Extremely nice and attentive. The hotel staff make this hotel. Very pleasant team. With the minor hick up it was a relaxed stay for my husband and I. Oh also the t. V directory is misleading. The actual channels do not match the guide.

This hotel is amazing! Very clean. Very comfortable. The front desk staff was courteous and very nice (especially John, who checked us in). The rooms were quiet and comfortable. The beds were very easy to sleep on. We overslept for the first time this whole trip! The shower was unbelievable! Seemed like a shower from the future or possibly Japan. Most showers have just the one option. This one had 3! It's conveniently located directly off the interstate just minutes from downtown and LSU's campus. I'll definitely stay here next time I come through Baton Rouge.

I love this hotel! The decor is adorable, very art deco and cute. The room is comfortable, bed is so cozy, and the bathroom had a crazy cool space shower. John at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful, and everything about my stay was pleasant. I will definitely stay again when I come through Baton Rouge next.

This hotel has to be one of the best I've ever stayed in, it was super clean the rooms were super trendy, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Also the complementary breakfast in the bar downstairs has to have one of the best breakfast as I've ever had. I'm just looking for excuses to travel to the Baton Rouge area just so I can stay at this hotel again, I will definitely put the word out to anyone in this area that you need to stay here at least one night. The bathroom was really fancy, The place was better than my apartment.

Overall, I enjoyed staying at this hotel. I stayed in a "handicapped accessible" room with my senior age mom. She found that the mattress was way too high off the floor and needed help getting on and off the bed every time. Also, every chair in the room had wheels on it, so every time she went to sit down in a chair, I had to hold it steady so it didn't slip away as she sat down. The bathroom was somewhat accessible, but the shower door couldn't close all the way with the handicapped shower bench inside + person in it. Plus, they could have used another grab bar in the shower area. The lobby is very spacious with lots of seating and two computers. The bar is also nice, but I found that it was a little "too open" to the lobby… a half wall would have been nice. I stayed in a room near the interstate and the sound did NOT bother me. Everyone was friendly and helpful. For some reason, there were never enough washcloths provided to my room (there were only 2 of us).

The Radisson is a real treasure in Baton Rouge. The minute we walked into the doors we felt welcomed. Everyone was pleasant and professional. The beds were comfy and housekeeping was very friendly. The bathroom was fully stocked and the water pressure was great. Super fast Wi-Fi. An overall clean, friendly, safe property in Baton Rouge.

Everything was fine. They went through a recent redesign which is a bit weird. They have nice bathrooms.

Stayed here one night after a gig. It was super convenient to get to. Right off the highway Everything was nice and clean. Seemed like it was either a newly built building or at least recently renovated. The room was large and had one of those cool "sleep number" king beds. Never slept on one before. It was awesome. Turns out my number is 72. The lady at the front desk who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. I think her name was Chelsea. The breakfast was surprisingly good. Like, really good. I had a greek omelette that was straight up phenomenal. The eggs were light and fluffy. It was seriously one of the best omelettes I've ever eaten. Perfectly cooked. And the waiter was really nice. I don't remember his name, but he talked like Robin Harris, the comedian who created "Bebe's Kids. " Anyway, I definitely recommend this hotel. Big clean rooms, futuristic beds, friendly staff, great omelettes!

I look for clean, brand properties that are safe and inviting for my clients while they are touring or working away from home. The property has spacious rooms, clean facilities, and comfortable beds. Very small over furnished rooms. Very slow small single elevator. Outdated decor. Terrible breakfast. Rude breakfast lady. Plumbing issues in 2 out of 3 rooms.

Stay away from this hotel! So many hidden charges and not even worth it! Website says they offer breakfast and allow pets but never once mentioned they charge you for both! The breakfast wasn't worth what they charge. We had to switch rooms due to the toilet not flushing. They did send a maintenance man but it didn't solve the problem. When the air is on it feels good but when it turns off in between cycles it gets so hot! There's mold in the bathroom which I'm allergic to. The beds are very comfy and the rooms are decorated nicely and the staff is nice but that's about it. You're better off staying next door at la Quinta where breakfast is better and free and there is no pet fee.

We loved it. Affordable, uniquely decorated. Good beds. 8 head power shower with instructions.

Spent this past weekend here during Bayou Country Fest 05/23/2014 — 05/26/2014. I can't comment enough on the staff, they went above and beyond. Always a smile and ready to help in anyway. The room was clean and very comfy. The beds were awesome, so great to slip into after a long day at the festival. We always stay here every year for this festival that says it all. Thanks for great service.

The first impression of the Radisson was excellent. I was greeted right away with a friendly smile. The room was nicely appointed with a king sized sleep number bed, flat screen TV, desk, and fashionable chair. The restroom only has a stand up shower, but what a nice one. It offers multiple shower heads for that waterfall feel. A great value for the price at 79.00+tax. I would definitely stay here again.

While staying here on a business trip I was inconvenienced when the electricity went out for a couple of hours. I realize this was out of their control and stayed in my room in the dark, in the hot. It finally came back on and I was able to get ready for bed and went to sleep only to be awakened after 11:00 pm with a blaring fire alarm. I quickly got dressed and exited my room to find the 2nd floor filled with smoke and smelling like an electrical fire. When I got downstairs the alarm went off and the front desk was saying it was nothing, just some elevator equipment that had overheated. I expressed my concern about the smoke upstairs and he blew it off saying it was nothing. I said we needed to call the fire department and he said "I have already talked with them and cleared the area". Feeling very uneasy I called 911 only to be told that they had not spoken to anyone and did not know of any problems at the hotel but would come check it out. I went to the desk and asked why he had lied and said he spoke with the fire department and he said that he said no such thing. Other guests came up to me and told me that they had heard him tell me that he had. I feel my concerns were legitimate and having a hall filled with smoke should have been checked out by the local fire department as a courtesy to make the guest feel that they are top priority and show that the hotel is concerned for their safety. I asked to have my account reimbursed as this stay had turned into a fiasco.

We stayed at this hotel from Wednesday to Sunday with 25, 12-14 year old boys. The staff was so great (even when the boys got loud). They gave us great rates and outstanding service. I would recommend the place to anyone visiting Baton Rouge. The coaches and I would like to Thank them a thousand times over.
