Very beautiful place. Nice room.

We had a very pleasant stay.

What a nice hotel. First, the staff is great and friendly.
The hotel grounds are clean and the location makes it easy to get in and out, around Lafayette. Lots of good food options a mile away.
The hotel room was clean and very comfortable. The location also makes the hotel very quiet. No loud street noises.
The 3-night stay was just what our client needed.
We highly recommend this hotel and will gladly use again.

I want to thank all the staff for making me and my daughter’s stay so pleasant while my daughters newborn baby was in the nicu. Everyone including housekeeping was so friendly and kind. I couldn’t of ask for a better place to stay. I GIVE IT 10 STARS because they went above and beyond to make our stay great ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My family spent three days at the Hampton Inn & Suites and despite a near disaster at checkout, I still give this location a 5 star rating for several reasons: the newly remodeled room was beautiful, relaxing and tastefully art deco, the beds were amazing, the bathroom had a spa-like setting, breakfast was the best continental breakfast with a variety of delectable choices and the staff was courteous, kind and friendly, even to our service dog Tino. I could go on about the positives, but the bottom line is that my family of five were more than pleased with our time at Hampton Inn & Suites, including my two teenagers. As has been said about my family more than once — "We Love Hotels! ". Well this ranked high on our list of great places to stay and enjoy. My only regret is that I didn't take more pictures.

The front desk staff was the definition of courtesy and friendly service. Can't say enough about their energy and professionalism. Took the time to discuss dinner options as well as late night options (touring musician on the road) and they were spot on. The room was exceptionally clean and the hotel has clearly made recent updates to decor, carpet, etc. Extra touches like quality linens and towels make a huge difference. Very nice fitness center and lobby. Would definitely stay here again on another visit to Lafayette. Quality property with an excellent staff.

It was the standard Hampton inn as I come to expect nowadays. Room was clean and good sized. Breakfast had the usual stuff but for some reason appeared lacking something. Pool did need work. Looked like it wasn't cleaned or chemicals put in for a week, had a tiny of green to it. However on departure day the pool guy came to clean it up. But it will take a couple days to get the algae controlled.

What can I say other than the fact that my stay was wonderful. The staff in the front lobby greeted me, my girlfriend, and her parents every time we came back from ULL and as we were leaving the next morning. The front lobby looked very clean and the breakfast was nice for what it was. It had all the basic breakfast food items that you'd expect with the addition of bagel toppers and a, slightly, customizable oatmeal section. The breakfast also included a waffle station, a variety of juices, water, milk, and hard-boiled eggs. There was also a nice assortment of pastries. Coffee and hot chocolate were available on a small table near the front desk. Onto the room itself. Our room was very clean and the beds were quite comfy. It came with all the standard amenities to include coffee, cups, coffee maker, a mini-fridge, television, plenty of towels and washcloths, soap, and a hand towel. Also included were an ironing board, hangers, and iron, none of which we used. The thermostat worked very well as did all the outlets in the room. We did have to make a call to the front desk because we couldn't figure out how to change the input on the television since there wasn't an option for it on the remote. A lady from the front desk arrived about 5 minutes later and very kindly resolved our issue. The bathroom was quite nice except for one minor thing: a fan. If you plan on taking a steamy shower, be prepared for the entire bathroom to steam up too.

Very nice staff and hotel. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Located in a beautiful part of town. I would definitely stay here again.

The stay was good just when we went it was very busy but but still everything went well with the crowd they had and even breakfast had enough for all the one lady did her thing with keep things filled.

It's a standard Hampton Inn. Room was fine, but extra points for LOTS of outlets! Close to most things in Lafayette, including the airport. Breakfast was average. Staff was friendly.

Holy hell, don't stay here. If you do, don't bother talking to the manager about any of the many problems. Broken fridge, rancid waffle mix, shuttle van abandonment… You will quickly discover that you don't matter, AND nothing will be done. Stay in school kids.

We had 3 rooms for the French music festival. The hotel is a mess. They're in the middle of a renovation and their painter has done the worst job I've ever seen. There is paint on the carpet and walls and a huge handprint on the door jam to one of our rooms. For breakfast they served sour waffle batter that had gone bad. The lid on the syrup was not attached so when we tried to pour syrup, the base fell and got syrup everywhere. The website advertised fridge and microwave in the rooms, but there is only a fridge and the microwave is in the lobby. The fridge in one of our rooms was frozen up in the back and hot in the front. We asked about the shuttle and were told it picks up at the Bordon's ice cream shop. They couldn't tell us on which side since the Borden's is situated with a side street on either side. When at the festival, we tried calling to find out what time and were put on hold for 12 minutes with no answer. My elderly father needed to go rest in the air conditioning so we walked to Bordon's and waited from 2:25-3:30. He was over-heated and has had heart surgery in the last year. We finally got in touch with the assistant manager, Robert Torogano, at 2:35 and he said that the driver was on his way. We asked which side of the ice cream shop to wait and were told that he didn't know. We called back at 3 to inquire on the van's location and were told the driver may be stuck in traffic. Then the van flew by at 3:15 on the opposite side of the ice cream shop.

First off. The price was amazing. They upgraded our room from two queens to a king and pull out. The kids don't mind sleeping on a pull out and I loved the spacious king. The service was awesome. The hot breakfast was tasty. The only concern I had were the pillows. They went flat way to fast. Overall I'd stay again.

The hotel and rooms are clean, spacious, well-decorated, and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend and I plan on staying here every time I come into Lafayette. Very nice accommodations.

We travel a lots and we choose a location not so motels. Hampton Inns are on our list of favorite motels.

A wonderful quiet place to enjoy, very clean I didnt have not one problem here I just love everything about this place &' breakfast is goood you should try here not bad at all, very lovable people here.

Absolutely a first rate establishment. The room and the staff were flawless.

The comforts of home. Loved how the housekeeping arranged my daughter's stuffed animals.

Rooms are dated and worn. The day manager is incredible and the breakfast ladies are very helpful and kind. Breakfast was great! The late manager is horrible. Rude and definitely doesn't want to be there. I overheard a conversation she had with another guest. The guest asked her for another pillow and she replied, "Just roll up a blanket and sleep on that. " Unbelievable. Anyway, there are better hotels in that same area, cheaper and better facilities as well. Hilton, you have some work to do with this property. Remember the Day Manager and Breakfast ladies are EXCELLENT!

Not as pleased with the room condition this go around, but it's usually a very nice and comfortable place.

Attended business meeting. Staff was nice and courteous. No complaints.

Needs to be updated bad. Shower had moled on the walls. I fell in my bed and sunk to the floor. Pillows flat. The TV was the newest thing in the room. They had to move us B/c the smoke alarm kept beeping every 20 sec.

Staff is professional and friendly. The hotel is fresh, clean, and beautifully updated.

The shower has no water pressure the toilet is to low I'm 6ft3 I had trouble getting up because I have back problems and the sofa is for kid's. I won't be staying there again. Oh and they are doing construction in the place been going on over a year.

Went for a baby shower. Event room was rather small, but clean. Provided tables & chairs. Staff was very courteous.

The location is convenient for good food and shopping. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The rooms were decent but exceptable.

As we arrived, the hotel staff were setting out several large boxes of prepared meals for evacuees from hurricane Harvey who were staying at the hotel. Come to find out, the meals were prepared by staff members, their friends and families.

Friendly staff. Decently comfortable bed. But like many hotels, it needs basic maintenance. The shower curtain rod is starting to pull out of the wall. As such, the curtain won't stay closed, and water sprays all over the floor. Internet is horrible. It was slow when connected, but it would disconnect a lot.

Rooms were nice looking but when you got to the smaller details it was a bit of a mess. Ac unit had a weird smell when it came on. Bathroom found a bug in it. Small things bit nothing I guess too bad. Breakfast was great.

Excellent place, very good attention of the staff.

This was a great experience from start to finish. We were in town for a marching competition so it was late when we checked in, and we left mid-morning today. Things couldn't have been any more pleasant. Special kudos to the staff members. Every person with whom we had contact — be it the night desk person who checked us in with such efficiency and in such a warm and welcoming manner, housekeeping, the breakfast personnel or the desk clerk who checked us out — was warm, welcoming and very personable. I have stayed at this location before and will do it again.

Memorial weekend 2016 The staff were very accommodating. We made changes with our reservation and arrival time, but the staff was courteous and accommodation. One staff (cannot remember her name but would love to let the managers know) called me on my cell prior to my arrival to assure me that my requested changes were made on my reservation. Extremely friendly and helpful. We had several rooms book and all were very clean. All members of our group were very pleased. The front desk helped us with needed supplies to warp wedding gifts. Front desk was very patient when my grand daughter called to asked unnecessary questions. (She is 8 yrs old and excited about her hotel stay). We are considering making a trip to LaFeyette an annual event and will be staying at the Hampton. Thanks so much for such a great weekend!

The front desk workers were some of the most hospitable people I have ever encountered. Loved the room.

Staff was very kind and worked efficiently to help all of the guests that arrived at the same time. The housekeeping staff was also very friendly and helpful with our needs.

It's funny how they try to put hints of local heritage, but completely fail at it. The elevators have pictures of Louisiana and hot sauces, yet three of those sauces aren't even made in Louisiana. I wasn't greeted upon entering, even after saying hello. Just your usual hotel with employees that would rather be somewhere else.

Clean and friendly staff. Only issue is the showerhead.

The bathroom wallpaper in our room was a little torn up and the plugs for the sink and bathtub were missing, but other than that it was a great experience! Delicious and diverse complimentary breakfast and cocktail hour as well as a really friendly staff!

Suite was rather small, very small TV, doesn't operate properly (picture doesn't fit on screen. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is awful and limited.

The room was perfect, very spacious for me and my 2 kids, however, had small children above me that at midnight were running wild and sounded like a heard of elephants. Called the front desk, the stomping and running stopped until 4:30am and it started all over again. So much for sleep. Had a 10 hour drive! That's not the mention that when we were unloading our luggage, the guy driving the hotel shuttle thought it was funny to Rev his engine and drive towards us laughing. I had to pull my son out of the way.

Hotel staff was very nice. Hotel room was terrible, I travel for business and I left a day early just to get out of this hotel and go to a nice one. Myself and my co worker had no hot water in my room the two days I stayed and where unable to take a hot shower or bath due to the low water pressure that would not fill the tub, and no hot water at all just freezing cold. My room was old, and semi clean. My co worker was asked by the front desk if her room smelling of smoke. The front desk said to her "that room smelled like smoke before you checked in is it ok? " I will not be returning to this hotel, nor would I reccomend it to anyone.

It was amazing! They were really helpful and allowed us to us their conference room instead of having my Bridal Shower in the 2 conjoined rooms we rented! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Clean friendly good breakfast.

My husband's job put us up at the Hampton in Lafayette, LA. We stated we preferred the Holiday Inn Express. We were told we would be put in "something better then that". Well, this is far from better. When we arrived we walked into the lobby with a big black tarp over the elevator hallway. We had a weeks worth of bags and asked what we were supposed to do to get them to our room. The front desk clerk tore down the black tarp and we were instantly covered in tile dust. One of the elevators were being re-grouted. I understand maintenace and upkeep, so we endured it. It was loud and you had to walk past that elevator with all the tools, cords, and mess on the floor to the next one. When we reached our room on the 4th floor it appeared to be livable for the week. Not what I expected, since this hotel is more costly then Holiday Inn Express and the rooms look identical. Of course, Holiday Inn Express wash all their bed linens and do not have these retched bedspreads that may get washed once a week that the Hampton uses. Everything appeared to be clean except the bathroom where there were clusters of hair on the floor. Ewww! The free breakfast does include eggs, sausage, etc. But it tastes like a free breakfast. Something to put on your stomach until your next meal. I decided to write this review when we awoke this morning and found a letter under our door stating the water would be turned off for 2 hrs and they were sorry for any inconvience.
