Review of Holiday Inn Express - Lexington East - Winchester, an IHG Hotel 2*

This is a brand new hotel, it just opened. We were there first guests. The owners and staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. They were so excited to have us, and were very bright and cheerful. We had just came in from a long day of traveling, and it was a great experience. Due to the hotel being new, it is no surprise at how clean, modern, and chic everything was. The decor & fixtures on everything is very modern. For example, the lighting in the rooms was amazing. The desk lamp was turned on by touch censor & there were led lights behind the bed, and a beautiful lamp as well in the room. I've honestly never stayed at a hotel that had as nice of lighting as this hotel does and other modern fixtures. The rooms are so spacious, you have a fridge, a microwave, a Keurig coffee pot with tea options as well, a desk, a place for your suitcases, and a wardrobe to hang your clothes! The amenities that make your stay so convienant and relaxing like the brand new rainfall shower head, multiple charger ports right by the bed, large bathroom, etc. Was so nice to have. They have two soft pillows and two firm pillows on the bed, it was WONDERFUL to have the choice of what pillow you prefer. — plus the mattress was so comfortable! One of the nicest hotels my mom and I have ever stayed at. The breakfast in the morning was the nicest hotel breakfasts we have ever had. They have a lot of options, hot and cold options. The cinnabon cinnamon rolls were my favorite! They have little to go bags if you are needing to take your breakfast on the go. The hospitality was amazing. They were always making sure we didnt need anything and making our stay relaxing. We also got to try a local soda Ale 8 whose factory is across the street, which was really neat to try something local from the area. We loved our stay from start to finish! Hope we can come back someday.
