Our room is neat & clean. The night desk clerk was nothing but friendly & helpful!
And I Love the comforter on the bed which by the way is a very comfy bed!
A VERY pleasant introduction to Middlesboro at 3 am!
I definitely give it two thumbs up!

We stayed at the middlesboro econo lodge this past weekend. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by April. When we got in our room we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms had recently been remodeled and were spacious. I've stayed in $800.00 a night hotels that weren't as clean or as well cared for as our room was at this property. Checking out were were again greeted warmly by Jayne and asked if all was satisfactory. Which it was. If absolutely recommend this property to anyone traveling through this area!

The room was new and very clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful! I have stayed at higher priced places with way less service. There wasn’t a single speck of dust in my room. It was a peaceful stay for a few days. Great restaurant in the front and many more close by. And all the staff were top notch! I highly recommend this place. Pet friendly as well, although I didn’t bring mine.

The room we stayed in had recently been remodeled and was very nice! All new EVERYTHING from the floor up! The staff is very friendly and helpful! And the prices are great! I would definitely recommend staying here! Very nice!

Wonderful rooms newly renovated and super upscale. Great Mexican restaurant next to office and great staff that are so nice and helpful. Will gladly stay next trip to Middlesboro!

If your not using corporate lodging then go elsewhere. This is one of the worst hotels I've been too. No bag for clothes or ice. Black mold on shower curtain. Water takes 10 min to get hot then its scalding, I ended up with just cold water on and couldn't hardly stand it. Wouldn't let my child shower here! Rooms are not terrible. No breakfast, only cereal and bagels.

Our stay was fine! The breakfast was ok. My husband and I weren't expecting a 5star continental breakfast, I mean this place was quite small! was a quiet little place to stay. There wasn't any loud or rude people next door. The pool looked clean but I didn't want to swim because it didn't seem that hot too. But they're were some other people in it swimming yesterday morning and they seemed to be having a blast. The ginger something soap that we had, smelled good… the towels, hand towels were very clean. The elevator worked good. There were some doors without numbers on on side but it did seem they were remodeling or getting close to remodeling that side. Which was fine, we were just on the wrong side. NOW The Mexican restaurant is AH-MAZING! I recommend that place literally to anyone.

Actually this is location of La Esperanza Mexican Restaurant. Good food, especially dishes using queso fresca. Huge menu.

Positives, the cleaning staff seemed friendly from the little interaction I had with them, and it was very clean. It was very pricey $83.00 for 1 person and that was the cheap room, no microwave, no small fridge, TV is small and went out twice, water faucets turned round and round and you had to find 1 perfect spot to get them to shut off. Bathroom is extremely small, get in, shut the door and the tub is there so it's tight. Very noisy through the evening hours, locals stay there and other locals come to visit, I couldn't catch a late evening nap after driving all night for all the noise, got up to take my service dog out to do his thing, there were people everywhere outside my door sitting on the sidewalks visiting the people staying there, at least 8, 9 people. And an extremely late check in time of 3 p. M. Unless your lucky enough to find an empty room from the night before.

Worst place we have ever stayed, dust on the curtains, dirt in the chairs, red like blood stains in the bathroom, nasty behind the night stand, now outlet covers and outlets loose. Another family member stayed next to us and they found a pair of pants in the corner of the bathroom from the last guest, filthy. Another family member had another room, dirty, blow dryer broke and light didnt work. The smell was horriible in all rooms. Now we were in from out of town for a college graduation had already booked the hotel and every thing around us was booked, had no choice but to stay one night. Do Not Stay!

Bedroom portion of room is OK. The bathroom & sink outside of bathroom are in dire need of a complete redo. The small fridge is on the counter next to the sink with the electric cord draping over the sink. Is this legal? Am I gonna get electrocuted when brushing my teeth? The bath tub has been caulked too many times to tell, the fixtures are crusty, even the bathroom door & doorknob are broken! I will not be bathing in that tub tonight. The other reviews are correct. The entire room & elevator smell of cigarettes, even in nonsmoking room. Small town with a few lodging options = overpriced monopoly. Who knew?

This is the worst Days Inn I have ever stayed at! The whole place smells like an ashtray. Rooms with no numbers. Bar of soap on tub open with hair all over it and tub. They say they have Wi-Fi NOT! If I could give it a zero star I would. Sleeping in your car would be better. I have stayed in some bad places before over the last 40 years on traveling but this is the worst.

I've stayed in worse hotels and motels, so I won't give it one star, but the Middlesboro Inn is one of the worst motels I've ever stayed in. The comforters had cigarette burns in them, there was no microwave, and the fridge didn't work. The bathrooms are filthy, cramped, and the water pressure was horrible. Unfortunately, this isn't even the worst part. The breakfast was inedibly at best; the toast and bagels were rubbery, the cereal was way past date, the fruit looked like it had been there a while, and there were no pancakes, waffles, or any kind of meat. I would literally never recommend staying here, and everyone in the town that I spoke to about my stay felt the same way.

Nicest people on the planet. First words every heard spoken in Kentucky by a woman 5'1" 90 lbs "was washing my truck last night" chicks and trucks… This place is like peas and carrots.

Friendly staff. Super hot showers. Very considerate to day sleeping customers.

The room was a bit dated, but overall it clean and cozy. The disappointment came when I was told it was not really a Days Inn anymore, and I would not receive my points for staying. Very nice staff. Rooms are a bit dated but but kept up well. Room Was comfortable and clean and has all the amenities needed to make you feel comfortable like being home. TV refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker all in rooms. The breakfast is a contennental but still good none the less. I recommend this place over others in the area, which are drastically over priced!

Well this is pitiful first off me and my ol man just wanted to get away so we decided to get a room and relax well so when we got in the room it was good and clean staff was great friendly I went to walk in the bathroom and my socks got soaking wet so I had to call front desk the lady was very nice and ask me to walk down with key card and she moved us to another room what a crock so much for us just wanting to get away and spend time together more work than it was worth they should of compensated us it already had cost us 97$ just to rent it wow…

The service was good and the location was nice. The Beds were clean but the rooms are older and our carpet made the room smell. The bathroom could use some updating.

Stinky, dirty, and old carpet. The room smelled awful. Beds were clean but the motel is in bad condition and very outdated. Location is good. I've stayed in many motels in my life and on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being excellent I would probably give this one about a 4. Not the worse but definitely far from the best!

Stayed here for work throughout the week. Our air conditioner didn't work very well at all, stayed miserably heated in the room. Each day our beds became more poorly made, never changed the sheets, blankets, or pillow cases the whole week. Didn't vacuum our floor daily, didn't have a fridge in our room. Pool wasn't open as it was advertised. More less, we got our trash cans emptied, and clean towels each day, nothing more. Not only was it this one week but the first week we stayed in Middlesboro it wad the same, we stayed here or first and last week, only because the other two hotels were booked. I would not recommend to anyone.

My wife and I try to go to Middlesboro on our anniversary we just like the little town will usually stay at the Days Inn. When we arrived this year they said they were remodeling under new ownership and that the price had increased, we said okay. We asked about the pool because we always use their pool. The Clark said the pool was not open this year because of the expense and Renovations that need to take place. When we got to the room we had no refrig and no microwave the clerk did let us get a refrig from another room and put in ours, but still no microwave. Now this is at an increased room rate from previous years and we did have refrig and microwaves before. And then to top it all off when my wife got up the next morning to take a shower, ice cold water no hot. She waited over 30 minutes and still no hot water so she had to take a cold shower. I am sorry I love the little town very much but we will be spending our next anniversary somewhere else and if that's their idea of upgrades I'm sorry they went backwards.

Stayed here for a little over a week. The day we moved in I did a once over of the room. It was in ok condition. The shower curtain had mold on it, the telephone in the room didn't work and was never fixed. The television we had in our room looked like it came over on the Ark with Noah. It was 4 days before they changed the sheets on my bed and was always a constant battle to get someone to clean the room. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone to stay at. Far too expensive for no better than the rooms and facilities are. Continental breakfast was a joke, they are currently trying to do away with it. The cereal is stale at best. If you can avoid this place at all cost. The ammenities advertised are a lie. There is no gym available. I can say one positive thing it was very quiet and no one bothered us, oh and the cleaning staff is very friendly.

We were so exhausted that we were able to sleep but it was pathetically outdated and broken down. The table was broken and someone else's hairs were in the tub. It could've been worse but it was only one night.

Clean towels and sheets hotel is very dated but a very cheap price. Internet is hit or miss.

Nice staff. Hotel is in horrible shape. Gross and outdated rooms. Can tell staff does the best they can with what they have. 1 star at best.

Checked in on May 28th. On this day the receptionist was friendly checked me in ok. On my second day I requested room service. In late afternoon returned to my room and nothing had been done. I requested service and was told service would be completed. I returned around 10:00 pm only to find out the only service completed was fresh towels and the trash cans had been emptied. However the bed was unmade and the floors had not be touched. Over the years this motel has been marginal at best.

Where do I start? When I arrive to check in the lobby is filled with cigarette smoke, YAY. I was exhausted. I just wanted my room key. Clerk tells me my room is around the back of the building. As I am parking in front of the door to my first room, I see my neighbors in the next room WITH THE BLINDS OPEN doing some questionable substance on the table in front of them. Great. I start unloading my things into the room. Flip the light switch. Nothing. Ok. There is another switch by the TV ok, this one turns on a dim light in the corner. Neither of the lamps next to the bed are working. I realized they were not plugged in. Why, you ask? No outlets. No outlets means no alarm clock. No outlets means I cant charge my phone for that alarm either. Mind you this room REEKS of YEARS of cigarette smoke. Check the head as Ive been on the road of hours and nature calls. This bathroom is so filthy I would rather pee in the bush in front of the room than drop trou in that bathroom. Mold. Filthy commode. Cigarette burn trails all over the tub and toilet seat. Gross. The final straw is when I turned back the already stained comforter to find FILTY FILTY bed sheets. These have not just been slept on one night. They have a dirt stain in the center of the bed where they have clearly been here for god knows how long and god knows how many people have slept on these sheets. I am in utter disgust. This is seriously the filthiest motel I have ever been in.

First night, first room; mildew smell was so bad u could barely breathe, fridge didn't work, a/c didn't work, shower leaked everywhere, the phone jack was sitting on the desk. Complained to the night clerk, nothing. Complained to the manager the next morning at the desk and got a different room for the 2nd night for free. From bad to worse; pulled back the blankets, someone elses hair all over the sheet, took off the cover pillow to see the under pillow, again, someone elses hair all over it as well. Disgusting. Like that on BOTH beds and all pillows, toilet wouldn't flush, fridge didn't work, shower leaked. Complained the next morning once again, once again offered another night for free, PACKED MY SHIT AND WENT HOME. This place is gross and I wouldn't let my pet rat stay there. If I had a pet rat.
