Beautiful hotel, a literal museum, kind helpful staff, wonderful rooms!

Everything was great. Loved the quaintness of the hotel. All staff very pleasant.

Location, amazing, the museum next door and more in the hotel, such a fabulous hotel.

Great experience in a convenient location! All the staff were so friendly and adhered to precautions. I would definitely recommend.

Quiet, well insulated rooms with comfortable beds.
The only downfall… no coffee pots in the rooms and the restaurant wasn't open until 10. Not good.

Pricy but very comfortable. The staff I encountered were hospitable and helpful.

This was the BEST weekend get-a-way we have had in a long time! Our room was amazing, food was awesome and the art was inspiring! Our next stay is going to be in Cincinnati and we can't wait!

The hotel is cool, the art work is amazing and the location is perfect, downtown walking distance to everything. Do not book for business meeting space. We took a group of 60 officers. The staff is not prepared, we ran out of food at our lunch, we ran out of water several times, room keys were promised and not delivered anywhere near on time, the staff over promised and under delivered. (several more issues) The GM was not helpful when addressing these issues The valet staff was amazing, very helpful, kind and fun. They did a great job.

This was a destination for us this trip since eating at the Louisville location awhile back.
Restaurant was fun, fresh and well managed. Menu was varied and cooked to order. Our server was beyond wonderful.
The pre-dinner walk through the art galleries did not disappoint our expectations.

Not at all your usual cookie cutter hotel. The 21c is uniquely swanky with an artsy morif.

Hotel 21C never fails to deliver an awesome experience! Everything was enjoyable from my beautiful king suite to my dinner at Lockbox, not to mention their thought provoking museum and exceptional staff. Love this place!

We stayed two nights in a corner king room. It was nice and clean. I love the modern feel and the art exhibits. We ate at the restaurant and while the atmosphere was good and the food was too, I wasn't that impressed with the menu selection as a whole.

My daughter and I attended an "art yoga" class held in the main gallery. The class was provided by The Massage Center at Dudley Square, but holding it in the main gallery was a genius idea. The expansive space, surrounded by thought-provoking art, was a great venue for the class.

Everyone was so nice here! I was a bit nervous with having small children at this hotel but it was great. The front desk staff answered questions the kids had about some of the art pieces and gave them little cute penguin tattoos. Room was very modern and clean… the beds were very comfy also!

Bar and food were excellent. The museum has some interesting pieces. Rooms were clean and decent sized.

Loved 21c's bar! The bartenders we're wonderful, and their awesome cocktails made browsing the art so much fun. I really was afraid it would be pretentious, but it turns out that everyone was super friendly and wonderful, and the art (and beverages! ) was excellent. I will definitely be back!

Best hotel in Lexington — premium beds, bathrooms and unique clean design. The museum is gorgeous and inspirational. The restaurant and lounge are exquisite, demanding a visit during your stay. If you like stylish environs and feeling like a queen/king, this is the place to stay.

Nice repurpose of an old building. Some may find the artwork a bit risque, but I believe that's part of their marketing. Trying to be edgy. Would rather see more classic and traditional pieces incorporated. Service at the restaurant. Specifically the "hostess" was awful. Based on her attitude, we chose to eat elsewhere.

Trendy and unique hotel, nice change from the typical business stop. A former bank building. Interesting art displays throughout. Room was surprisingly large with nice amenities like bedside master light control, Nespresso coffee maker, large walk in glass shower, bath robes. Room service was prompt, and unrequested visit offering ice and chocolate in late afternoon. "Business center" was a closet size room with 1 new Mac computer. No other users seen over 2 days so very adequate for online access and printing. Nice looking restaurant/bar on street level (Lockbox) though didn't use it. Hotel is close to a good variety of interesting and modern restaurants/bars. I would definitely stay here again.

Just had a recent stay at 21C in Lexington. Fantastic hotel with a wonderful, friendly staff. Really made us feel welcome. Would definitely stay again.

Really a neat experience. Museum/gallery/first class accommodations. The art installations can be offputting to some, but if you take the time to look there is a little something for every taste, and the exhibits routinely change. Some truly world class artists, some newly discovered or little known are featured. You will definitely not have another experience like this in the Bluegrass.

Superb hotel and staff, thrilled that Lexington is graced with its presence. 21C is by far above and beyond the ordinary.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. Everyone is very helpful and legitimately wants to make every stay your best ever. The rooms are spacious, room service is excellent, and valets are great.

One of the most stylish hotels I have ever been! Rooms are spacious and convenient. Only flaw is the slow service on breakfast : (

We were impressed with the 21C, it seemed like a fun and interesting place to stay. However, our specific purpose for visiting was to see if it would be suitable for a wedding and unfortunately it didn't have big open spaces necessary for a wedding with lots of guests.

Nice hotel in great location. Rooms were nice sized and very good overall. Room was a bit dusty though in places. Liked the art and the onsite bar. Art museum is much smaller than other Museum 21s where we have stayed but still nice. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Generally a great quirky place. And Lockbox (the restaurant downstairs) was amazing. My only complaints were water related. The shower was warm at best, but it was right before checkout time to be fair. Also the water that came out of the sink was cloudy and had mystery particulate swirling around it it. So definitely use bottled water. Water issues aside, I would definitely recommend staying here.

21c Museum Hotel is awesome! I'd recommend having your next date night or event there! Everyone's super friendly.

I'm a big fan of the 21c in Louisville, so I'm thrilled to have one here in Lex. It's a great venue even if you don't eat anything or stay because of the art gallery with rotating exhibitions. They feature living artists exclusively. The food is a bit pricey but it's worth it for the experience in the modern dining room. I haven't stayed in the hotel, so I can't speak to that, but everything else is a first rate experience.

Great hotel. Great location. But customer service isn't always up to par. Seems like they could have better training.

Poor service. No refrigerator in room. Have to call down to the front desk for ice — received a half full bag after 25 min. Came back the next day at 5:45 and room had still not been cleaned. Call down to front desk to ask for staff to clean room — 20 min later someone came up and exchanged the towels. Asked for the rest of the room to be cleaned and they stripped down the bed and said hey would need someone else to make it back up. After another 20 minutes no one had shown back up so I went down to the front desk to complain. Finally after that 2 staff members came up and put on new sheets and took out the trash. There was no other cleaning of the room and I find it ridiculous it took until 6:30 for the room to be cleaned.

Cool hotel with a nifty theme of 20th century art. Great downtown location. Dining at hotel is delicious and reasonable.

Very modern and hip. Clean, crisp, neat rooms. Great choices for room service and a beautiful view. Had friendly service as well.

What a spectacular space! Really nicely curated contemporary art in airy rooms, excellent restaurant and friendly staff. We went to see their K. Wiley painting, visited the rest of the rooms of art.

In 21c true fashion — one a kind decor and top shelf hospitality. Hotel, modern art musuem, world class food in Lockbox = Trifecta!

The art gallery is wonderful. Open 24 hours a day, you can stop by any time and take in art from all over the world. Really nice that unique venues like this exist in Lexington.

I visited the art museum with a friend. The atmosphere was inviting, relaxing and enjoyable. The art was beautiful and diverse and we very much enjoyed our experience.

Super nice rooms. Staff sent up a few extras since it was my first time staying. Best showers I've ever had at a hotel. Only downsides, there's a $100 deposit for each night and the windows needed cleaned.

My friends and I attend the Barre class on Saturday mornings and love it. The class includes a mimosas in the bar, which is a great way to wind down. The staff is always extremely friendly even when they know we aren't overnight guests.

I went to 21c to have few cocktails with friends and take in the exhibits. The speciality cocktails were exotic but well balanced and the art display was modern but tasteful. Overall an excellent place to take clients or a date for a drink and some culture.

21C is a gorgeous eclectic hotel. I went for Sunday yoga with Cindy Hutchinson owner of the yoga and massage center in Dudley square. I do recommend the hotel highly for all my wedding clients. It is just dich a neat experience!

I went to 21c as I am a big fan of their other location in Louisville. I recognized a lot of the art here from their other collections. I feel like it's yet to come into its own identity. I did not stay — only visited the galleries.

Museum was interesting. Pieces were strange and not my taste, but I understand that they rotate new pieces through every so often. Cocktails were fantastic. Dinner was so-so. My meal was average, but my friend's choice was very good.

Awesome art gallery with a variety of pieces that rotate every 6-10 months. Excellent staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the art as well. I will be bringing all my out of town guests!

I went to 21c for a film screening they were hosting in the museum portion of the hotel. The location doesn't have much in terms of parking but there is a valet available if you want to use it. The museum is a great size and there is a large variety of work on display. The film screening was hosted in a large empty room with chairs set up in front of a projected screen. The seating was kind of uncomfortable but overall it was nice for a free event.

The Museum was a little empty, but looked like they are trying to full it. It was very beautiful though. When eating at the restaurant, the food is good, but you're definitely paying for the environment.

Very nicely furnished rooms. Very clean and overall a great experience. The restaurant downstairs was excellent as well. Would return again if I were to visit Lexington again.

Clean with interesting art. Didn't stay at the hotel but the conference rooms served our purposes well. We had a little bit of difficulty getting somebody to turn down the ambient music otherwise otherwise it would have been perfect.

Had a fantastic brunch as always. I've been here a few times for brunch now and the food has been consistently well prepared and very tasty! Wait staff are very attentive and prices are fairly reasonable.

Beautiful accommodations in and old bank. The room was nice, the bathroom beautiful. The place definitely had an air of classy but casual. The food at the attached restaurant was delicious. They also had a killer drink menu!
