This hotel is very clean and quiet and conveniently located. It's just off the highway. Many close by restaurants and fast food establishments. The area of Topeka is a better part of town. Very fairly priced and staff are all very kind and willing to help in any way possible. I would recommend this location to anyone.

The hotel itself was fine, but as for the front desk, I have never had such horrible service. My vehicle was broken into right in front of the camera and the manager not the general manager will look through to see it happen. There are two guys on bicycles that hang out in the parking lot every night that we saw trying to break into our work trucks. I told the manager about it and he said they have no idea who these people are and they are different people every night. He is lying the people on bikes are the same 2 guys every night. It almost seems like an inside job. I just cant understand why the manager can't just watch the video or let me watch the video. Very shady place and people!

The only place we will stay when visiting Topeka. We rented 7 rooms while in town for our son's wedding. All of the rooms were beautiful and very clean. Service from the hotel staff was GREAT. The breakfast was outstanding many choices from fresh hot pancakes, cinnamon rolls and yogurt to biscuits and gravy and fresh fruit. (You have to try the automated pancake maker! ) Thank you!

Facility has been updated, staff is friendly, breakfast is hot, coffee was plentiful.

Location is a little boring a sketchy but it's a nice hotel.

It was clean and the rooms were ok. The beds felt like the springs we're non-existent. Breakfast was good and the Wi-Fi was reasonable.

Not bad was there for a work conference and they didn't provide free coffee.

Great rooms, great services, close to most everything, shopping across the street. The evening staff is awsome. I believe the lady's name is Shelly. Maides are top notch, and breakfast is great to start the day. Gentelman On days is on the ball. Over all great value.

Loved this hotel! I had a King suite. It had jist been updated when I stayed. My bes was huge nice and so comfy! My bathroom was roomy, the shower was fantastic! I was in the room really close to he breakfast area and lobby and it was nice and quiet. Lots of choices for breakfast. The hot tub wa nice and the staff was amazing!

I never personally stayed at this particular Holiday Inn however they do offer a quite and professional atmosphere for there guest and provide a general safe location for it's visitor's. Employees have always been decent and curteous around me. When I was told by an associate who I like to refer to as a friend that she boosted a TV from there I was pretty disappointed in her.

Loved my stay! Conveniently located on highway 24 with plenty of both breakfast and dinner locations. Ihop was right next door and a Dickey's BBQ and Spangles on the other side. Wal-Mart across the street and a main strip of other restaurants and local businesses the next road over. I'm glad I chose this location for business needs over the weekend!

Our room was nice and big. The carpet wasn't cleaned very well. Lots of people The front desk was not very friendly.

Ok, so my wife and I are stuck at the bulk postal service in our semi on standby, waiting to take emergency supplies to hurricane relief in florida. We have been setting here since thursday, ready to roll at a moments notice. There are no truck stops close by where we can shower. So I give thw holiday inn express a call and explained the situation hoping we could get a shower. The guy on the phone said they were all booked up. So I ask maybe if we could work something out in between some checking out and some else checking in. The guy was rude and un helpful. I hope he is the next on that needs assistant from emergency responce and doesn't get any. Is would serve him right.

Excellent clean hotel with complimentary breakfast, comfortable beds, mini-fridge/microwave and fast Wi-Fi. There's a Walmart & Dillons right across the street perfect for food, supplies, and beer.

Beds are comfortable. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. But the elevator and hallways are scorching hot. No air conditioning at all. Not a major issue as the AC in the room works just fine but after working in the sun all day it would be nice to be able to escape the heat while indoors.

The rooms were comfortable, and very clean. The service was nice and the breakfast was hot and tasty. It was an easy location to get to, and very quiet.

Breakfast was fine. Pickup got broken into. Glass everywhere. Cops said this area had been "getting hammered. " Guard your vehicle.

The hotel was nice, but there was a nail sticking up from the floor from where the carpet is such down. I'm sure this isn't typical, but it was disappointing that this wasn't caught before we stepped on it.

Was fairly close to the interstate. Room was large. Big enough to put a pack n play and still have space to move. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety. Overall good experience.

I would only stay here again in emergency. Bed was old and broken, room smelled musty, the milk was frozen at breakfast. Beer party in the back of the parking lot, under my room. Look, it was a free night from my credit card, but my stay at the Topeka West location on the first part of the trip was totally different. Sorry IHG, this time was a fail.

Horrible Internet Non English speaking staff Copier broken Printer in business center only prints B&W. Front desk didn't know rates when I checked in, but manager was supposed to call. He never did… Not up to par with other HIE properties. Nice people at the front desk though. Last resort hotel. Only stay there if others are booked up. Sorry…

The hotel is clean and quiet. The exercise room was clean and easy to get to. All of the staff were friendly and helpful wh r n getting extra towels.

Found an ear wig in the room. Other than that, people were nice and accommodating. Facilities are also updated in the past 10 years or so.

The hotel itself is fine. Decent gym by hotel standards. Pretty lousy breakfast, but my expectations were low to begin with. Really awful Wi-Fi. Hotel staff is average.

Greasy hand prints on walls and two colors of mold in shower. Left a note with front desk on my way out for the day, 8:00am. Came back that evening and neither had been cleaned.

Wi-Fi sucks! The grounds are sad. Overall, great stay.

This hotel is horrible. Stay somewhere else. When I arrived in my room the clock was flashing because it needed to be set, the room was 65 degrees and the thermostat was set to 60, and the "high speed" internet is a complete joke. I'm here on a business trip and have been consistently kicked off my companies network because the Internet is terrible. I'm actually writing this review from my phone at the moment because it is the only way I can get internet access in this crappy hotel. If all you're looking for is a bed, at least those are clean. But that seems to be the only thing they can get right here. Like I said, stay somewhere else.

This hotel has absolutely NO SECURITY! No security monitors, no night security guards, NOTHING! We did not get any sleep due to little kids running the halls and slamming doors until 1:00 a. M. Called the front desk to handle it and they picked on the wrong room! I asked why they didn't just check their monitors and she stated they didn't have a security system, but hey, she would check on vehicles a couple of times during the night. Are you kidding me? Why don't you just send all the murderers, rapists, thieves, and vandals a personal invitation to come help themselves! The man at the counter the next morning was not concerned about our stay because we booked thru Expedia. He was a total jerk and looked like he had slept in his clothes for a month.

Upon first look, my family and I thought this was a great hotel. The room rates were reasonable and it appeared well maintained & clean UNTIL my brother crawled in the bed at midnight and noticed blood on the sheets. Apparently the last guest who slept there had the unfortunate accident of getting her period during the night and the sheets WERE NOT CHANGED. So disgusting. Needless to say, we got entirely new bedding for both beds & the female night clerk was very apologetic. We got the room for free but I was very disappointed in the reaction (or rather lack thereof) of the male Assistant GM we spoke to this morning. Very unprofessional… I don't think the way it was handled even came remotely close to representing Holiday Inn's usual standards & values.

Nice place. But costumer service was not kind. Cancelled reservations and went somewhere else.

Our first stay here and it was one of my top 3 hotel stays. Room was large, clean, updated, very refreshing. Found it a little quirky that the bed bases were unfinished but that wasn't important. Breakfast was really good. The only thing I could take away a star for was that there was only 1 elevator and it was on the small side. We took the stairs but the exercise wasn't going to kill us. When we checked out this morning (4/19), the man at the front desk was rude but I won't let that change my mind on coming back to stay again.

I stayed at this hotel the first of April, 2015 on a business trip. Checked in on a Wednesday evening, on Thursday afternoon I received a call from that my mother had a stroke. I cancelled my business meeting and went to the room to pack to get home. When I checked out of the hotel I explained to the clerk the situation but was charged the full rate for the day. There check out time is 3:00, I checked out at about 5:00. I asked to speak to the manager, JUSTIN SMITH, I was told that she could not get in touch with him. (I found out later he was there, just behind the wall but would not come out to talk to me). Once I got back on the road I call Holiday Inn Express customer care and told them what had happened, the contacted JUSTIN SMITH on my behalf, and he told them the would not refund my money. SOOOOOO, here is my take on this hotel. They are greedy, small minded and JUSTIN SMITH is devoid of any moral fiber. If you want to give your money to a hotel like this, that is your choice, I on the other hand will never give them another penny of my money, because it seams that MONEY, is all that they care about. I am requesting that the GM and part owner, (per my phone conversation with Richard at the hotel) MADAN RATTAN, and or THE TOPEKA INVESTMENT GROUP please give me a call. You have all my information in your records.

Complete Scam Artist, Wife and I stayed here they charged are room the 104 and change. After we left a few days later they tried to charge are credit card apx $250 for some unknown reason. I called them up they said because we smoked in the room and went as far to say it was "a cloud". They clearly misconstrued the facts that one I went outside and smoked and 2 we made a complaint with the office the next day of a couple smoking in the hall way. Not to be trusted, I had to file a charge back.

Very clean hotel. Beds were comfy. Rooms wwre spascious. Would stay here again.

Friendly service. Newer hotel at just 2 years old. Clean sheets and pet friendly. Must stop for weary traveller.

I was glad that we chose this hotel even though it was away from the interstate. The staff was very helpful. The hot tub and pool where cleanest we used on this nine day trip. I would go a few extra miles out of the way to stay here again. Military friendly.

Surprised there were so few reviews. This was just what we needed after a long day of driving. New, clean, and great breakfast. Rooms were very comfortable. Definitely would stay here again.
