It looked alright. The outside looks better than inside. Smelled kinda old.

Very clean, nice looking bar and breakfast station, good size parking, staff was alittle rude though.

It was a very nice and clean inside. Went in to do an application and the staff was nice. Pool looked clean and very nice bar room.

Very nice room. Not updated so to speak. But clean and pretty. Breakfast was pretty good also, there were a lot of options which is good because I can't have all the sugar. Over all great place, we will be staying there again I'm sure.

Been here 2 days and I can't complain. I've seen worse motels. But employees are friendly. They have a big outdoor pool and free breakfast.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Pet friendly. Would stay here again.

Beds were full size, not queen as advertised. Breakfast was pretty good. Rooms were nice. It'd be better if some more of the lights were on the light switch circuit so more than one would turn on. Everything worked though.

The ladies in house keeping are beyond awesome their friendliness is genuine most of the front desk crew are super helpful. The beds are super soft so if you're a rock hard mattress person like me you have been warned.

The staff is very friendly amd welcoming! Rooms are very nice and always clean. We love the breakfast and the pool! Only place we stay!

Service is great. The rooms are wonderful. We stayed at the Pittsburgh kansas location.

We were in town for a short visit. We chose Lamplighter over Holiday Inn. I am pleased with the decision. From the check in with Tammy to the check out with Shantaja (? ) We felt valued and the hospitality was super top notch. The cleaning crew was awesome. I was dragging a bit from the late night socializing the night before and the breakfast we skipped. I know the pool and hot tub were in service and looked like a fun time. However we didn't make it there either. The stay was quiet and peaceful. I will look to stay with them again if the price is right. We got a great fall special deal they were running and I feel that it was a great value! Thank you Lamplighter Pitt KS for the hospitality. We will have you on first check for the next stay when we return to the area. (Only reason for the 4 star vs 5 was the exterminator role I had to play on a couple of non paying guests. I'd stay here over the other surrounding hotels in Pittsburg. Was skeptical about staying here at first. Passed by it many time when I went to school here and knew it was cheaper among the other hotels in this area. It's easy to stray your eye from here knowing there is Holiday Inn, Hampton inn etc. Yea, it has a older feel to it at first. However, the rooms are clean with updated furnishings. Large bathroom that has a magnified makeup mirror with light. The pool area, garden room, breakfast area, and bar are warm and welcoming. I would feel comfortable sitting in those area if I didn't want to stay coupe up in the hotel room. The breakfast had large sausage, eggs, pancake and waffle maker, along with the regular pastries and cereal you would get anywhere that offers breakfast. Biscuits and gravy is a hit here. Warm and moist biscuits with the best gravy I've ever had at continental breakfast. If you have little children they also have mandarin oranges, yogurt, and apple sauce in the fridge below the cereal. Breakfast really accommodates all ages. I'm happy to stay another night and most definitely don't regret my decision to stay here. I will make this my go to when I'm in town again. I will recommend it to other as well.

Great olace fir the price! Nothing really wrong with anything. Lots of parking thats very accessible to the rooms. Large, comfortable King size bed. Nice leather recliner. Large refrigerator and microwave. Overall great place that we will come back to if we are near Kansas.

I stay here when I come in to town to visit my daughter and grandson. The rooms are always clean and the room price is competitive — with a Comfort Inn & Holiday Inn across the street usually priced much higher — they offer much of the same amenities with the exception of an indoor pool (but they do have an outdoor pool). So, you'd be wise to book here and save some money if the indoor pool isn't a requirement. I found the beds to be quite comfortable and rooms clean. Their breakfast is plentiful with lots of options and included with your stay. The staff has been consistently friendly and helpful.

We checked in late and the woman at the front desk was so kind and helpful! Our room was clean, which is all we were wanting. The pillows and bed were older, but we were so tired it didn't matter.

We had a fantastic stay here! Great customer service both with booking and any issues or needs while there. Courteous, friendly, and respectful. Clean room. Comfy bed. Delicious, hot breakfast with many options. Great value! This will be our choice hotel when staying in Pittsburg!

Free Wi-Fi, microwave & mini fridge in room, clean pool & hot tub, complimentary breakfast had a good variety, and a great location next to the highway & bypass. Very affordable and a great value, highly recommend.

The staff was wonderful. They were very helpful to all our softball team that stayed there for tournament weekend. Loved that they had free laundry services.

It was really nice. Quiet and the rooms were clean. The breakfast bar was good. The service was great.

Our room was small and all guest rooms have only exterior doors. When we arrived I had to drain the tub of a half inch of standing water. Check-in was smooth and all staff were friendly. Breakfast was great!

I didn't pay for the room as I was traveling with my mom, so I cannot comment on whether it was worth the price or not. However, I will say the mattress and pillows were quite firm, which made for minimal comfort. The room felt damp and humid. There wasn't a fan in the shower, making it even more so. The breakfast was really good and staff was really friendly. My biggest complaint is the bug problem. We stayed there two nights, there was a giant mosquito type bug in the shower, a tiny bug behind one of the lamps, dead bugs on the AC unit, a spider by the tv, a spider on the side table, a spider on the bathroom floor, and a beetle that ran out from under the sink faucet when I turned it on. I try not to be too big of a baby when its just one or two bugs, because that happens, but 3 spiders in two days, plus the others, is pretty ridiculous.

The beds here are so comfortable. I did not want to get out of bed the next morning. The room was very clean and the breakfast in the morning was nice and hot. It is a little on the pricey side but it is worth it. I would recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at Lamplighter Inn. The rooms are older, but they were VERY clean! Our room even had a recliner in it. It was very comfortable. Tammy checked us in she was extremely nice and very helpful! All of the staff were very nice and polite. The continental breakfast was very good! The lady taking care of it kept it full and fresh. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who ask us. We would rate it 5 stars!

They have an outside pool and spa. Breakfast is not bad but not the best. Worth the money for the stay though.

It's an older motel, but not a bad place for a nights sleep. The rooms are a decent size, there's a pool, Wi-Fi, a bar and a continental breakfast. It's usually clean and the staff are very friendly. It's across the street from a fairly new Holiday Inn and Comfort Inn so that makes it look less inviting, but it really isn't bad and you can stay for a better price.

The bartender, Jeremy, was very friendly and attentive to our needs. He mixed excellent drinks and the price was great. Ask him for two cubes in the Glenfiddich.

Only giving 1 star. Quite expensive considering the comfort level. Stayed in a pet-friendly room, and the bed was horrible along with pillows. No tag on bed so that tells me it is just that old. The room was somewhat clean other than the drain hair that someone hung on the hook of the bathroom door. Again, bed and pillows were horrible. Breakfast was simple, hot and quick. Room temperature control is not controlled by thermostat, so you have to get up in the middle of the night and turn it off or on. Staff was friendly though.
