We were a little worried due to the price being much lower than their local competition, and due to some of the reviews we read. It turned out to be a very nice highway motel with all the amenities you now days expect at these properties. The front desk staff was always friendly & helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and furnished nicely. The complimentary breakfast included waffles, sausage, eggs, cereals, etc. And they didn't run out of food, while we stayed there. We saw none of the negatives mentioned in any of the poor reviews we read. Some people just can't be satisfied. We were very satisfied and will stay here again if travel brings us back to Valdosta.

Definitely not the worst place in the world, but it was closer to it than being even remotely good. The front desk staff was friendly. The beds were aged and sagging. There is no sound barrier, and with the apparant leniency in the hallways, it's not exactly a great place to try to sleep. Or nap. Then, the bathrooms appear nice, with granite walled showers. I placed my hand on one of the walls to steady myself, and it wasn't smooth; curiosity got me, so I took a white wash cloth across it. This revealed the texture I felt came off leaving a brownish-black residue on the cloth. The a/c unit could have removed moisture a little better, as the room smelled like a basement and the carpet started out almost sticky from being damp. But it did look like fairly new carpet.

Staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was plenty of parking and it was right off the highway but not noisy at all. The breakfast was good as well. Would definitely stay again.

The night auditor who checked us in around 4pm on 6/23 was so nice! She was very hospital, acknowledged all the guests as they came in, even though there was a line, and even recommended restaurants in the area. We then went to a family reunion and got back around 11pm. With 2 sleepy children in tow. There is a side entrance to the hotel that is right next to the elevator. As we walked up to the door, an employee (Eugenia) shut and locked the door. We asked her could we come in, and she kept shaking her head while taping a sign (an inward facing sign, so we couldn't read it) to the door. My husband said "Maam, we have a sleeping baby, could you please open the door" She then shook her head, said something with a nasty attitude, and walked away. A hotel guest looked on in disbelief and tried to open the door after she walked off, but it was locked. There is also a sign outside of the entrance that said after 11pm you can use your room key to enter, but again, the door was locked. While walking to the front entrance we passed another employee and explained to her what happened. Her response was "Well we close the door because we've been robbed. " We are a family of four with a 12 year old girl and a 10 month old baby, surely she didn't feel threatened. Especially since she let two people in before she closed the door in our faces. We walked back in to the main entrance where Eugenia was checking in a guest and let her know how rude and unnecessary her actions were.

We went to this hotel to stop for a night after a long 12 hour drive. And let me just tell you, this place was disgusting! To start off when walking into the room, the walls have stains and marks on all them. There was something gross on the ceiling too by the way. Then when checking the beds for any bugs, on the under frame of the bed there was poisonings, to kill everyone's favorite, BED BUGS! Also in the bed there were stains and marks all over the sheets. And my 11 year old daughter didn't even want to use the sheets to sleep with, and she didn't, she covered up with her night gown! Can't forget, to tell you the whole family's favorite part! Under the bed, on the side next to the nightstand, there was a lovely HYPODERMIC NEEDLE, laying there. What a disgusting place this was, almost walked out. But it was like 1 o'clock in the morning, and we had to deal with it. Please do not stay here, it is gross, not kept up, and just a terrible hotel. More like a motel…

The room smelled stale and musty, but sheets & towels were clean. Bathroom was clean too, but had a rusty door and a plane old wood side table in it (very strange). AC fan was clanky & very loud. The floors in the breakfast aria were grossly sticky and carpet was very dirty. Breakfast was plane and fine. Staff are very friendly & very helpful though. But, they need to take better care of the property.

Motel was clean and employee was helpful on check in. Will use this motel again for other trips between homes in Florida and our mountain cabin. Extremely satisfied.

Over all stay was good. Clean room and lobby. My only complaint would be that the maids came into the guest breakfast and half way through the breakfast time left little to no food for the guest. One would think they would have had there breakfast at home before coming to work. I payed to stay there and have a continental breakfast. If I knew they were very free breakfast I probably would have not left a tip in my room for them!

Stayed at many of the Choice Hotels motels during a 4 week trip and my favorite turned out to be Sleep Inn. All were nicely remodeled and provided a great hot breakfast. These will be my first "choice" from now on.

Easy access to the interstate. Super friendly front desk staff. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the room was clean. Internet signal was strong. We would definitely stay there on our next visit.

Very bad the only thing I need from a room is a clean bed and the bedding was obviously dirty and that tells me the cleanliness is terrible.

We had a great stay, clean room and comfy bedding. Minus one star for breakfast. Very limited choices, could definitely improve in this area. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Decent hotel right off the interstate. Room was clean and ready, hot showers, relatively comfy beds. Breakfast was standard fare, continental style with many options (but no bacon! ). Good for a night's stay while on the road to Orlando.

The hotel was clean and nice the front desk lady was nice the management is horrible and does not know their job! Then when given a bad review of their mess ups he wanted to blame giving a declined credit card although they charged that very card. They also charged the lady next to me three times! They harassed me about if I wanted my room or not 5 times Then I had confirmations in writing with me and they said that's not what they have I said I have it right here in an email with confirmation numbers but they didn't care, it all got resolved by the front desk lady NO HELP from Harsh the manager. Who also gave away rooms of the man next to me as well. Then blamed him! harsh is horrible and doesn't know his job!

This was a fantastic experience. I came in late, I'm a light sleeper, and they helped me with all the issues they were amazing. If you want a beautiful clean hotel hassle free where they actually care about you, this is the one for you. Oh, did I mention their pet friendly!

Got a online deal for a suite but when we got there all was messed up. Ended up paying for a suite and ended up with a queen room. Like a 50 dollar differance. Other than that was a great place as usual for a sleep inn.

Front desk manager, Jamie was GREAT… afternoon/evening clerk was a big disappointment,. After being out most of the day I called to ask if we could have our room done… fresh towels… trash emptied… toilet paper, etc and was told that they DON'T DO ROOMS if the DO NOT DISTURB sign was posted. We had it up for a couple hours in the morning so my grandson could get a nap. So I went to desk with a list of what we needed and as soon as I started to ask for what we needed she turned and ran off not listening to my request and came back with what she decided I needed. Since she had not listened, I had to ask again to receive toilet paper and Kleenex. I overlooked that she didn't give me the crib sheet I requested and when I went back to the desk and waited several minutes with another guest, found she was outside smoking. I found her to be abrasive when she asked me if I had paid to bring my dog in… and yes, I paid from the start the $15/day fee required by this establishment. Her customer service skills were very poor. Disappointed that `pet friendly' meant $15/day and required to use 3rd floor. Taking my dog out every few hours and using the elevator was a pain. Now that I know there is a Red Roof Inn in Valdosta I will stay there and save money and handle my dogs needs more conveniently.

I booked this hotel because I needed a pet friendly place to stay for one night. The girls at the front desk were very friendly (even though they were working on Christmas day). I felt safe walking my dog around when it was dark. The room was clean and comfortable. We were in a hurry the next morning, so we didn't check out the breakfast. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to others.

We've got a large black lab and the hotel is pet friendly for the larger breeds. There is a 15$ fee but that's to be expected of most chains. Beds are on the hard side but good enough for the quick stay we needed while driving through. Everything is about how you'd expect for the hotel type and price range.

Room was clean and came with mini fridge and microwave. Lobby and halls looked clean but I noticed a slight musty smell in hallways. Breakfast was pretty good.

Awful, got foot fungus in the shower, smelled like a sewer at odd times. There were ants, breakfast was awful. Don't stay here. And it's not even cheap enough to say ok I get it.

We were driving thourgh from Florida as a late check in 2am and they were expecting us. It was nice to arrive slo late after 6 hour drive to have someone call you by your name. The room was a non smoking one but it clearly not followed. Had morning breakfast and got back on the road. I would use them again.

It was good for one night. However, after having the experience I think I would choose to spend a little more and stay at a hotel with a more expansive breakfast. The hotel was clean but our room had a bunch of popcorn under the bed that someone had missed. The best thing about the rooms were the showers. They were marble and big and a luxurious treat.

The Sleep in we stayed at was in Valdosta Georgia and it was very nice. I booked us a one bedroom suite with a hot tub with jets installed in the living room. Having the bedroom proved to be a life saver after driving for 10 hours it was nice to have the privacy. The best was the price was 114.00 with tax and all. The gentleman working the front desk was extremely kind and helpful and the hotel was very quiet even though it appeared they had many guests. The parking lot was located right in the front so looking out a window you could see your car and security walks the grounds at night. I would definitely return this time without the kids so I can enjoy the hot tub with my husband.

Stayed here one night. The front desk people were very nice and allowed us to have two rooms together. It's pretty clean, but not the best. It's great that it allowed dogs. So that's a win win. :-)

Omg. Smelled SO bad! Stopped only for 5 hours. The smell is stuck in my nose. Apparently the owner owns more than one hotel at this exit.

Rooms were spotless, staff was very friendly, location was good. The continental breakfast was not impressive, but overall stay was excellent.

Wonderful experience. The rooms were terrific and the showers were a beautiful granite. Beds were clean and not a stain in sight. A/c worked great! Pool was clean and staff was very friendly. We bought our tickets for wild adventures there for a discounted price also. Would recommend to anyone! I'm also one week from my due date and slept great along with my husband and two kids… so that should tell you alot. Good luck!

I was on the road near there and did a nonrefundable room online, because I knew I was going to be there soon… but because of their website my dates got changed and I didn't notice until it went thru… I called immediately after the reservation was done to see if they would be understanding of what happened and Grant me room for that night at the rate quoted, I explained I was on tight budget. The front desk person was rude and said no refunds and quoted me a rate double what I booked. Asked for manager was told wouldn't be there all weekend, called on Monday told they were not available. Emailed general manager, no response, called 800 number for chain, did nothing. So I suggest thinking twice about staying here, worst customer service and I lost nights stay cuz of online issues.

It was lit and smelt nice there was a pool to help me chill nd kool down and people there offered good service will most definitely try again cause it was lit.

Room was great. People were great. Hotel is beautiful. Breakfast had a lot to be desired.

Room was clean and comfortable. Nice decor and up to date. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good and nice area to eat at. They had a waffle maker that was delicious.

Worst chain of hotels! They WILL NOT HONOR a reservation from Expedia, Priceline or anyone else. We had a reservation for a certain price, which they conveniently couldn't find. And then they charged us almost double. I called their corporate office and they stand behind their hotel by NOT HONORING A RESERVATION UNLESS ITS THEIR SHIITY COMPANIES.

Building was modern, very clean and the staff was great! Was fortunate to have a jacuzzi type tub. Perfect end to the day of traveling!

The room was nice, at or just above average. The walk in shower was nice although the waterproofing compound used to caulk with was a little less then attractive. Bed was comfortable enough, extra pillows in the closet would be nice and convenient. The workout room was very musty smelling, the treadmill needs serviced, (belt slipping badly) and the sensor light for the room kept shutting off after 15-20 of running on treadmill. Potential lawsuit I'd imagine if that isn't resolved. Other than the things mentioned our experience there was ok.

My experience was horrible! The hotel has a roach infestation and when the front desk was confronted they denied any knowledge of it (of course. ) There were little black roaches crawling on the wall and brown ones in the hallway. We went to the front desk and they sent someone to spray our room but the bugs kept showing up. They moved us to another room on the third floor and the bugs were there too! We called to the front desk and the employee hung up in our face! We went back to the front desk and they gave us the bug spray to exterminate ourselves! The next morning we realized my sister left her charger in the previous room the night before. When we walked in the room to get it bed was flipped up and dozens of roaches were under the bed and crawling up the wall. So we flipped our bed THAT WE HAD SLEPT ON THE NIGHT BEFORE and we found roaches again! (I have videos) The hotel is infested and they don't deserve service. Absolutely would NOT go back and I don't recommend it!

Booked a double room. When we arrived at hotel, clerk told us that only a King was available and that we could pay $15 for rollaway. After looking at other reviews of this hotel, this seems to be a common occurrence. A hotel employee was sitting directly in front of the hotel, next the entrance, smoking — made the hotel look even lower class. The clerk also informed us that the rooms were non-smoking (which I prefer) and that we would be charged $150 if we smoked. The room did smell a little smoky, so I'm watching my cc to make sure they don't charge me. Only 2 towels were left for us. They left a bottle of water and a can of Pringles on the desk and told us we would be charged $4 each if we opened them. Very noisy surroundings. Breakfast was decent, but the attendant was very rude, accused us of turning off the waffle maker? (At least that's what I think he said, he had a very heavy accent. ) I would NEVER stay at this hotel again.
