Fast and efficient check-in, took less than 5 min. Checkout was even simpler, leave the card in the room. The room was clean and very spacious, bed was comfortable, the A/C was powerful and worked well. Towels were big and clean, soap was provided. We parked the car exactly in front of the room, was very convenient. The TV had plenty of channels to watch, like 20. Plus it was pet friendly and our dog had plenty of space in the room. I feel the hotel met our expectations exactly and I was impressed with the good upkeep of the furniture and the room as well as the cleanliness of the room, well done!

Housekeeping was courteous and kept the room maintained during my stay. Desk clerks were helpful with vistor attractions and courteous. The room I stayed in did need some maintenance detail. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and no floor trim where the tile in the bathroom met the hardwood flooring in the room. The general cleanliness of the hotel was good which is great for the price. The location of the motel was on point for my stay. It was an easy and close drive to Tybee Island, which was my destination spot. It was also and ideal location for downtown Savannah and the wonderful attractions they have there. I stayed 3 nights and 4 days. I will consider Motel 6 Midtown Savannah for my next stay.

Probably along with the Albuquerque Motel 6, this is the nicest Motel 6. Very new and very clean. Large rooms with a microwave and a refrigerator. Beautiful wooden shutters on the windows instead of curtains. Large parking. Price $48.00 a night. Unbeatable. Will always stay here Two dogs stay for free. Motel 6’s are taking over the dog friendly motels.

Overall not a bad stay. Been newly renovated. But the cleanliness is already starting to affect the newly renovated area. Maybe if the maintenance personnel did a better job cleaning then the renovation might last longer. Just my thoughts.

Room was nice. Bed were hard. Some towels were stained. Got food out of vending machine that were out dated by a few days. It tasted nasty. Went to front desk to complain and the lady didn't offer an apology or money back. Microwave had not been cleaned. I did like the fact they people next to us were extremely loud but when I closed the door, I couldn't hear them anymore. I liked the location because it was near the hospital. We come every other weekend, I don't think we will stay there again. For the amount of money I spent, I'd expect my stay to had no issues.

I really wish that we could have our money back for this room. The location was nice but the room was unclean. There was hair everywhere even in the freezer, on the sheets, in the tub, on the walls. The floor needed to be swept. The first thing we saw when we walked in the room was a dead bug. We picked up 3 more bugs after that (one still alive). The headboards and bed box had collected dust. I told front desk but the next day no attention was taken. I ended up buying clean up wipes and cleaning the room myself. The ice machines were broken. The sink clogged up. For the amout we paid it was not worth it. You even have to leave your ID just to you the iron. Ridiculous. We will not give our gard earned money for such lousy housekeeping anymore. I will skip all Motel 6 locations from this point forward.

We were very happy with our stay. The room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that the room didn't have a hairdryer. I should have checked that ahead of time instead of assuming that it did.

Beautiful property, rooms are so nice! BIG room, furnished so cute and modern. Fridge with separate freezer was a real plus. Grounds immaculate and absolutely no outside noise even though we were in flight path of AF base. 5 stars all around.

Nicest Motel 6 I have stayed at before. Modern finishes, cool lobby, friendly staff, spotless room, vinyl wood look flooring in room is a nice upgrade from gross carpeting, fridge/freezer and a comfy bed. My room cost $50 and I feel I am staying in a $100+ room! I am a woman traveling alone and I feel very safe in my room and the surrounding area.

Room was decent. Every time you opened the door the smell of cigarette smoke hit you. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Also the wall are too thin. I could hear everything going on in the room next to me. Which apparently housed long term guest.

Stayed here twice during my weekend trips, and it was nice. The newly redone rooms are really spacious and well decorated. The staff are always pleasant and I've made this my go to hotel for short visits to Savannah.

The only problem was no breakfast! But other than that we have no complaints. Room very clean, wasn't to much noise outside of the room at night! Housekeeping made sure we had clean towels the whole weekend! Thank you.

The rooms are ok, rather sterile with inexpensive laminate flooring and equally cold furnishings and lighting. The walls are thin and the noisy neighbors are all too easily heard. Had to change rooms to get the quiet we expected for $60 a night. Also had to take off the toilet tank lid to stop the toilet from running.

Sheets look like they haven't been changed in months, covered in hair and specs of dirt. No toiletries. Bathtub was practically black. Only giving it a star because the staff when I checked in was very friendly and welcoming. Had guys catcalling at me everytime I went to my car to get something. Bed uncomfortable, air hardly works and room smells terrible. Spend a few extra bucks for something better.

I was very disappointed when I arrived to find out that my card had been charged. Upon booking my room over the phone with a rep she told me that I could save the room with my card and it would not be charged, that I could pay for the room with cash when I got there. I specifically booked with your hotel because you were the only ones in the area that would do that. The key never worked for the lock. I had to fight with the darn thing just to get the door open. Upon walking into the room I was hit with the smell of cigarettes, which is disgusting. The room was clean but smelled horrid. The bathroom still had hair all over the tile wall which was pretty disgusting as well. The shower handle was hard to turn. I had a hard time getting the water to the temperature that was comfortable because the handle kept getting locked or stuck in place. It was just a unpleasant stay overall.

Large, clean rooms, with easy check in, and good local rates. Plenty of room to walk the dogs outside, and nearby a handful of places to eat and shop. Free parking, pets stay free, and the air conditioning works well. I did not try the breakfast offered, especially when there's so much in nearby downtown Savannah.

Located close to Hope Isle. Front desk was friendly. The room was okay. But $98/night was too pricey for what you get. The room wasn't as clean as it should be, I'm a motel owner and I should know. The bottom of my daughters feet were black after an hour of walking around on floor in room. Gross. The toilet seat looked clean, but when I used a dry tissue to wipe away a hair that did not belong to us, that was on the seat before anyone used the toilet, the tissue became dirty with brown smudge of some sort. Not towel bars and not shampoo or conditioner. For almost a hundred bucks a night, I expect at least a place to put a wet towel and a clean room.

Leanna was awesome! Customer service was amazing! Works at front desk. She was so polite and helpful. Went out of her way to make me and my guest comfortable! I would only stay again if she was there.

I have been coming here for some years now and I love what they have done with the place. The rooms look so good. It is a lot different from what it was a couple of years ago. The housekeepers are very friendly and helpful. And your front desk clerk Leahnna is excellent. She always has a smile on her face and is very informative, I love to see her when I come. I would recommend this place to everyone I know.

This motel is the worst. First: the STAFF was horrible. Rude and pushy. Housekeeping will knock once and enter your room right away. Hopefully you aren't naked, but if you are oh well. If you do happen to make it to the door before they come in they are trying to stick their heads in or peek around you to see inside your room. I'm not sure what they're looking for, but they are looking. The front desk will call your room numerous times or knock on your door to find out when you are leaving. Even before checkout time. I informed them that I was getting my things together and was waiting on my mother to get back with the car so we could checkout and they told me to put my things out on the curb and wait for her. The rooms are BARE. Disgusting hardwood floors. Wear socks or your feet will be black from walking on these floors. No soap, shampoos, coffee makers, ironing board, alarm clock. Don't ask for extra pillows because they will not give them to you. Towels, either. Also, the drains in the sink and bathtub won't drain properly. There are a WHOPPING 23 channels on the TV. The prices on all the websites say these rooms are $49 per night, but we ended up paying $97 for basically just the beds. I wish I could give them negative stars just based on the staff. Go to the Days Inn next door. It is cheaper, the staff is more friendly and they have all the things that normally come in a hotel room.

I was only dropping off a friend as my wife was a designated driver. I was supremely impressed with our friend's room. It was very clean, cozy, and inviting. I would definitely stay overnight here.

Motel 6 Savannah mid Town had good service service that treated us with respect and integrity. They provided us with a good sized room and 2 comfortable beds. The bathroom had a good shower with amazing necessities and more.

Pleasantly surprised! Was worried because I read past reviews however my family and I just spent a nice night here. Room was basic & great for the price, and the kind woman at the front desk (Leanna I believe) was wonderfully welcoming and extremely helpful!

I checked in at 11pm. Take a shower and the tub doesn't drain. When I mention it at check out the girl say "ok". She never acknowledged me until I insisted. First time at a Motel 6. Prob the last. The room was clean and I like there was no carpeting. Means the floor was definitely clean. But I still can't get over the filling tub and the attitude.

The check-in process was the only thing enjoyable about this stay. Once entering the room it was realized that "you get what you pay for" I believe the pictures online are quite deceitful. Our bed had burns from cigarettes, although it was a non-smoking room. There were 3 pillows for 2 guests, and we were denied an additional pillow from the front-desk associate when requested after we saw the room only had three. I can't imagine providing one additional pillow is that big of an inconvenience. The room had a very displeasing odor to it, and the walls were filled with holes and dirt, and just overall poor contracting work… The baseboards were coming off, and not attached to the wall. The shower and toilets weren't cleaned and there was hair in the sink.

Great value. The exterior is your standard motel 6. The interior rooms look to be recently renovated, with new flooring, bedding, etc. Uber to downtown Savannah is about $15-$20. Free parking. There was a pool, but it was closed for the fall. I stayed at the nearby La quinta in the past and thought this was way better. Dog friendly as well.

I still here before the updo and after it. I love the updo nice rooms 1 day rooms has a small refrigerator and the week rooms has a large refrigerator. The Staff Jasmine is wonderful, wonderful and wonderful thank you Jasmine for making us feel at home when we was homeless… :) I gave 3 extra stars because you went out your way… :)

The staff here were great. Friendly and courteous. Unfortunately the room was not. Cigarette pack under the bed along with 2 beer cans. The beds were not queen as we had booked but full size and small. We stay at motel 6 once in awhile but we will not be booking this one again.

Stark furnishings, room was clean. Too much noise from the nearby road and parking lot outside the room. Adjacent room had a chirping smoke alarm; the front desk clerk handled the situation professionally and managed to silence it. A bit too pricey compared to other "budget" rooms.

Lol. This was an experience. First of all, I have been to many hotel/motels… But this one was one of my most interesting encounters. This one had and almost dark existential vibe. Parking lot was lit with vibrant stadium lights while the front desk staff was behind glass enclosure. Room door had more than three locks. Overall the room was pretty clean besides the towel with hair on it. Can't complain too much; it's a motel.

Room was clean. Location was good. I have a few suggestions. There was no shampoo and toothbrush in the room. Though front desk provided it when I asked. Dark curtains on the windows will be a really good idea. And the television hardly had any channels. Please get some popular subscriptions, like HBO.

Room wasn't ready so we left and came back. Not a problem as we were traveling with our pup and I was told they only had certain pet friendly rooms. The employee at check in carried on a conversation with two other people while she waited to find a pet friendly room that was available at check in The room wasn't very clean, hair in the rags and towel. Sink wasn't rinsed out and still had hair in it. The ice bucket rim was black. Overall we wouldn't stay again.

Can't complain about the price and the rooms are nice but there are ROACHES! I only stayed one night and killed 4 of them then the sheet was coming off of the bed and there were so many stains on the sheet below it grossed me out so I slept on top of the blankets it's a good thing I brought my own. Although the stay was somewhat peaceful and very quiet it still had it's flaws but like I said the pricing was unbeatable and the silence was great also the staff at the front desk was very kind and polite.

Woke up to a full-on lawnmower nightmare at 8am. I had come just for the night for a quick relaxing getaway and was planning on sleeping in til at least 9. I had had a rough stay last year when renovations were starting and there was construction going on. So I decided to give it another chance. I called front desk to ask why the landscaping started so early. " Sorry, that's just his time to start" was the reply. Not cool. Air conditioner was way too loud all night and the sink didn't drain well at all. Don't know what the shower was like because I was wide awake and decided to get out of there.

I love the new look of Motel 6. I have been staying with your brand for years. Love it. The price has remained affordable as well. I had only one issue prior to my stay the other night. But my stay the other night sent cause for alarm when I discovered a crack pipe with a jagged edge that could have caused physical damage to myself or someone else. I am a law enforcement officer and I know the low rates attract the criminal element. But I believe that this was in house. No crackhead leaves their works unless they are coming back for it. Check your staff who have access to that room or who cleaned it last. This won't stop me from staying at your brand, but I will check out beneath the sheets ad mattresses from now on.

I've been staying at Motel 6 for about 2 months. I chose to stay there because of the location, and it looked decent. My stay started out good, but quickly turned sour. I observed guest hanging out on stairs, in front of my room making all kinds of noise all times of night. I've ran into a few rooms that were very moist to the point of the floor becoming wet, my belongings being very moist, and sheets wet. Sinks and tubs are clogged in a few rooms. Towels, wash clothes, and sheets had hair on them. Horrible pillows. Beds worn out. I don't think the rooms are worth all of the money that I've been paying. Motel 6 has never offered anything for the problems that I've been experiencing. Motel 6 needs to do a little upgrading.

At first my stay was very nice until I found a blood stained pillow in the bed. I called the front desk and was told that I would get $15 off of my room and someone would would clean it. That never happened until the next day. Then there was a a mix up with 2 of my other reservations.

I really liked my room, the rates were fair, and it was clean/safe. The problem is that other guests, or friends, didn't just play their music too loud, but all effing afternoon and night in the parking lot shaking the whole place. I go to Savannah more than once a year. I'll never stay here again. No consideration for guests.

This hotel is horrible! I understand that it is not a 4 star place, but they only provided us with 2 pillows for 2 beds, when I asked for more they said they did not have any. A colony of cats live there, I called animal control for these poor animals. Their staff refused to let me speak to a GM until I called 5 times. Do not stay here!

Look very nice when when you walk in… behind close doors is when it happens! Didn't sleep stayed up all night… bit by bedbugs, roaches in shower… just horrible! If u gonna stay here don't sleep over, haha have a party with all the creatures.

Now we know why they leave the light on, it's because if you turn off the light wait 5 minutes and turn it back on you can watch the German cock roaches scatter. But seriously me and my wife checked in and got to our it looked cleaned but after awhile the roaches started to come out and we are not talking about 1 or 2 it was about 8 to 10. The sheets where covered with roach feces and between squashing a few of them in the bathroom and bathtub. We went to the manager to cancel the rest of our stay and get a refund they refused and only wanted to refund us 15 dollars and put us in a different. I called the health department while in the lobby and they are going to send an inspector. If you like the bugs and block parties that the others rooms where having along with the hookers then your in luck just bring a can of raid with yeah. I wish I could give this place negative stars.

It was my birthday weekend and we've never been to Savannah. Wanna to spend more of my money on good eating than for lodging since we really only needed a place to sleep. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and friendliness of Motel 6 in Savannah. The price was right — location was awesome and room was good. The water pressure wasn't the greatest but it was sufficient.

The bed was too low and no carpet. Which there should be. It was nice and clean. Great for something quick.

Me and my husband checked in and IMMEDIATELY CHECKED OUT. Where do I start the outside is BEAUTIFUL, the service was GOOD, but when it came to the room it was HORRIBLE! The sheets were full of hair, nasty brown spots, etc. The mattress looked as if they just got it from off of a trash pile and the toilet was full of doodoo all around the rim of the toilet. We were offered to check out another room, but the same exact thing when it came to the sheets and mattress. My advice to Motel 6 at 201 Stephenson Ave in Savannah Georgia is your inside (ROOMS) should be your 1st priority then you focus on the outside. Remember people sleep on the INSIDE not the OUTSIDE!

Like most hotels, there are some things that can be improved. But I never really had any problems. There were a couple of times that we checked in and our rooms weren't clean yet. In general though, my visits were never bad.

Smoky rooms, cockroaches on the bed, the ceiling, carpet old, bathroom. It is better to look in this town, a different Motel.

First: Don't stay there, seriously! Worst Motel I've ever been! Actually I didn't had high expectations before I booked this motel. I was just looking for a cheap and nice place to stay. No luxury but (of course! ) clean. This motel was neither of it. I didn't felt comfortable at all! The first room I got, stank like it's a smoker room, although it was a non-smoker one. The floor wasn't clean at all — there was dirt all over the place! I didn't dare to walk within the rooms without wearing my shoes. Additionally the switch for the main lamp didn't worked as well. So I decided to change the room. Unfortunately in the second room were EXACTLY the same issues, still dirty and a smell as had somebody just smoked in there. Of course the floor was dirty too — seriously what has the houskeeping team been doing in there? Beside the missing breakfast in the morning, there was not even a ventilator in the restroom — what the.?! During the night there was a lot noise outside my room. Not sure what kind of peiple entered and left room next to mine — I bettee don't wanna know. Also I've never used such a terrible w-lan bevore! (first wirld problem I know, but it matches the impression I got so far) Sudden connection lost happens multiple times. Again: I can't recommend this place at all! A Motel doesn't has to provide any luxury, but at least you should feel comfortable and it has to be clean!

Vending machines are ripp offd takes your money no refund, clean rms, water pressure in shower not so great they are under remodel did see brand new beds ready to be placed in rms great location reasonable price pet friendly nice pool.

This motel is terrible. I asked for towels because room service didn't stop by our room. I was denied towels. My husband is down here working and can't even get towels. Police around the motel all night. Loud people all around you. Never stay here. Dog friendly but it's not even worth it.

Great value and freshly updated didn't give it a five star because at 10pm I went to the front desk to get an extra blanket and the guy said he had none, and no shampoo and conditioner and no towel bar but the value was still worth it and I would do it over again.

Do NOT stay at this hotel. If I could give this motel ZERO stars I would. We stayed over the July 4th weekend, and it was disgusting. The rooms smell like ash trays (while they say there rooms are non-smoking) very loud guests out during the night, roach infested, dirty floors, and the front office staff is very unorganized. There was even black mold on the walls. I took a video on my phone of the roaches crawling out of my fridge and out of the bed, and when I went and showed the front office all they said they could do was give me $20 off… I booked my room online and when I checked in it was the total opposite of what I had reserved. The staff tried to overcharge me by $30 when clearly I had a reservation with the total amount. Unfortunately I was from out of town and every other hotel was booked up for the holiday weekend so I had no choice but to stay at this nasty place. When you have to pack up your belongings everytime you leave because you feel as if the cleaning ladies are going to steal your belongings or someone is going to try and break through the door, that's not good. Did not feel safe at all. Nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in and will never go back. Stay away from this place.

This motel should be shut down. The owner is a freak he likes to watch woman and baby's at pools and tells men They can't walk around without a shirt. Then you cant sit outside an enjoy the weather which is ridiculous because no one should have to stay in a room all day. He will also Jack the rates up and lie about it even if it's booked. Not only that I heard him refer to blacks as "Your Kind" or "You People". I will never stay here again ever and if I were you I wouldn't. I will be in contact with a higher power about this hotel an the people running it.

Very loud guests outside until 2am. No hair dryer, iron or ironing board in room. Carpet replaced with vinyl wood laminate making walking barefoot a cold experience. TV had a very small selection of channels. Chairs in room were small and uncomfortable and also fake wood. Would not recommend nor stay there again.

I stayed here st. Patrick's day weekend and I was given an updated room because they are doing renovation, my room was amazing, comfortable and clean. I had an issue with the toliet but that was fixed within 10 mins… I will definitely be staying here again!

The room was great! Clean, modern, and affordable. The noise from garbage being dumped ALL NIGHT LONG, however ruined any chance of a good night's sleep, which is the reason I got the room in the first place!

"updatd edit***** do not stay here. The staff are completely incompetent and lie about everything. I was woken by a drilling noise from my nap (9 months pregnant, you'll read that below) and told there's nothing that can be done because the workers work Monday through Saturday. Okay, fine. So it is Sunday (March 13th) and I was woken up by drills and banging, again. It's Sunday! No rest on Sundays?! I'm extremely livid and as soon as I'm dressed, I will be at the front desk. Discount? Oh you better reimburse me for at least one full night. This place is CRAP. So, I'm a pretty understanding person when it comes to a lot of different things seeing as I was a server for many, many years, but… no. Just no.

I've stayed at Motel 6's before because I travel with my dogs, and while I know they aren't 5 star hotels (and I don't expect them to be for the price), this was by far the worst motel I have ever stayed in. For health reasons I requested a non-smoking room. Apparently spraying a few squirts of air freshener around the room makes it a nonsmoking room. I knew it was St. Patty's Day weekend so I figured I'd give them a pass on that. But the toilet barely flushed and I was handed a plunger and told to use it every time I flushed, and there was soap left in the shower from the last person who stayed there. So when I woke up in the morning with a banging headache from the smoke I asked to be given another room. That took all day to make happen and when it did it was another Fabreeze style "non-smoking" room. I wound up having to spend twice what I had budgeted for to find a non-smoking room elsewhere. I'm not impressed and will never recommend this motel to anyone!

Checkin told me my confirmation didn't go through even with my confirmation number. $59 per night. Charged me for what she said was 2 nights. $85 for both nights. Ok, cheaper that's fine. Next day different manager calls and says I need to pay for second night and I am locked out of room. It's late so I have to pay again for second night. He said she made a mistake and he would not honor the $85 for two nights nor would he honor the confirmation price of $59. Tourist. : Stay away from motel 6. I told the manager that I live in this town, don't screw me over, I needed the room for work being done on my house. He could have honored the price, but nope! This is just the beginning. What comes around — goes around!

Property is Getting Updated! New rooms are looking modern, clean and comfortable. It was time for this property to get a new look. Loved my recent stay. Will be back when in the area again.

Before I talk about how awful this hotel is, I must say the hotel staff were extremely nice and professional. However, this was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. There were mysterious stains on the walls and furniture. In addition, there were some blood stains in the bathroom. The smell of smoke was so strong, it took a few days to get the smell out of my cloths. Don't take my word for it, look at the pictures I posted of our room. I was planning on staying a few days, but after seeing the room I immediately booked another room in another hotel. I felt as if I had to sleep with one eye open for the one night I did stay there.

DON'T GO THERE! I had stayed at a Motel 6 before and had a nice experience, and thought the chain would be the same. What a mistake. The only reason we did not leave was because we had been driving for hours and it was almost midnight, and we just wanted to sleep! They had not to vacuumed the carpet, the bed was half made, the room was old and un-kept. It was not worth even the price they asked. We would have left if we were not so tired and taken our suitcases to the second floor.

Your very basic motel experience. Room is below average, conditions are suitable but not too much above discouraging, and price is slightly higher then what you should receive/experience. Only spent one night, but the bathroom looked and smelled horrible. Must have forgot to thoroughly cleanse the bathroom, as it have a disliking oder and condition of bathroom was not up to par. One promising note is that the bed itself was comfortable and clean. Overall, its not a complete disaster but definitely not a showplace location.

I own a small construction company and I read the reviews but had to stay here because I left my I'd at home and nobody else would take me. I was surprised that the room was decent for a cheap hotel. However when I came back to my room midday there were hookers. Clean room but drama outside.

Never again. The rugs were not just unclean but sticky, like you' d never want to be barefoot on the carpets. I asked the staff after our first night to please change the sheets and vacuum the rugs, the rugs were never cleaned and that was the only time the room was attended to. As in no clean towels and no clean sheets for the 4 days we were there. And we were not provided a trash can so our trash was piled on the floor and counters. The ceilings and walls in the bathroom were covered in black mold. We had to ask for toilet paper and soap. If you want the cheapest thing possible. This is it, thats what we wanted, but trust me, DONT do it. You'll regret it.
