This was a horrible hotel. I can’t believe it got good ratings. When we first came in it seemed nice but once you got past the lobby, it was dirty, smelly, and unkept. The pool area was dated, dirty and rusty. There was way too much chlorine in the water. The workout room was not clean wiped down or vacuumed. The hallways were smelly and they had freshly painted trim with paint on every door instead of taping? Lots of dirty and just not attention to details. Breakfast was bad — lots of dirty tables while the attendant sat in the back and did nothing. Our room smelled clean which was nice, but all the door handles were loose, making it impossible to lock any of them. Also we didn’t feel safe there. A lot of shady activity seemed to be happening. Don’t go here if you want to be comfortable!

Great location to six flags theme park. Suite had plenty of room for 6 people. Great staff and service.

Breakfast was good, but some breakfast items had a strange texture. The room was nice and the beds were comfy, but it was definitely old and dirty. The pool was absolutely disgusting, hot tub didn’t work and there was something floating around in the pool that was gross. Also did not feel safe here, most doors in the hotel do not lock.

Comfortable beds, good breakfast, and friendly staff. Great price with corporate discount! However, like all places they could improve. The room door was very difficult to open, I loved no carpet but the floors where dirty, and the pool & hot tub were out of order. Pool was a big issue for my 3 year old. : (We were in town for funeral so comfortable bed is important and they didn’t disappoint! Lot of traffic noise so I would request room facing back rd for next stay.

The negative reviews are all true. For $10 more you can stay at a better hotel in the same area. Fresh paint and vinyl floor does not count as updated rooms. My toilet seat was broke refrigerator and lighting fixtures did not work. Tub and doors were terrible. Maintenance is one big joke. Majority of the lights did not work on the elevator. Customer service was awful. Breakfast pastries was half frozen. It’s not worth the price. I was supposed to stay three nights but after my issues were not resolved and the manager did not return my message, I checked out and booked at a better hotel for a slight increase in my total cost.

Stayed at Comfort Inn in Lithia Springs, GA during a family reunion. The majority of my family left and booked another hotel do to slow maintenance service and uncleanliness. I would not choose to stay at Comfort Inn due to the last experience. They really need to higher a more efficient cleaning staff!

I give this hotel a 0 overall. The breakfast was disgusting, rooms weren’t properly cleaned, and had an overwhelming smell when you first walk in the hotel. The pool was disgusting when you enter the indoor pool, the smell of chlorine is unbearable, and the jacuzzi was broken. I also had four bumps from when I woke up the next morning (probably bed bugs) The problems just went on and on, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The front desk clerk greeted us with a smile, talked with us, and made us feel welcome. She let us knew she would be there to help us if we needed her… The rooms were very nice!

Room we stayed in was very clean but door to room appeared broken and posed challenges with entry. The room decor was recently upgraded but the common areas of the hotel (doors, elevator, some walls) need new paint or maintainance and looked very worn and scratched. The pool area needs to be upgraded. Pool itself was nice, but is surrounded by porcelain tiles and was slippery and potential hazard. Jacuzzi/spa was barely warm with a broken heater and jets. Also the jacuzzi was peeling paint in the tub and chunks of paint was floating in the water.

When we first got there carrying backpacks and smoking the lady at the front desk treated us like were we homeless and loitering there. She even made us confirm are reservations immediately. The name was wrong so instead of waiting for confirmation she left the front desk unattended for 30-50 mins… once we finally got to our room the night was fine. Big spaceious room for the price. The Tv's were small and the channels came in fuzzy. Bed was big clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and they provide additional toiletries up in request. Excellent place with a few less than helpful employees.

This was an AMAZING hotel. The beds were comfy, the food was outstanding, and the staff was out of this world. I would definitely recommend This and ANY other choice hotel. Definitely better than embassy suites.

My family and I recently book a stay here because we were visiting six flags. My main focus on a hotel was that it had an indoor pool, so my children would have something to do. I booked the room a week ahead of time. I called 2 days before we were to check in to confirm that the indoor pool was functioning properly. The desk clerk assured me the pool was up and running. When we checked in Saturday evening, we went straight to the room and changed into our swimsuits. When we got down to the pool, there were 3 kids swimming in the pool. The pool was so dirty and discolored (I have pictures) that we couldn't see the second step of the pool nor the kids feet in the bottom of the pool. It was gross! I then went to speak to the desk clerk. She called management on the phone. I asked to speak with the manager, but the clerk said she would relay the messages back and forth. The manager told her to tell me I could leave the hotel and they would refund my money or I could stay and deal with it. The manager also told the clerk to tell me she was closing the pool, which was a lie because when my family and myself came down to go to another hotel (30 min later) there were still people swimming. I asked the clerk about it and she laughed in my face. UNEXCEPTABLE! I will never stay here again. Worst experience I have ever had with a hotel.

The hotel really needs to close and be renovated. I tried to make due but the last straw was the indoor pool being closed for maintenance. That's tghe only reason we picked this one. So, we canceled our stay and went 20 minutes to another hotel which was great. I'm still waiting on my card to reflect. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you are paying under $50/night.

VERY RUDE, the rooms smells horrible, the customer service is horrible and the workers stole my niece phone… long story short DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY NOR TIME. Honestly doesn’t deserve no stars.

It's right off of the highway which is very convenient. They are very friendly and allow you to use their restroom. It has an indoor pool. The lobby was spacious. That was security cameras all around.

So I have been staying at this hotel since it was Comfort Inn and Suites, than they changed names, and after 3+ years I will no longer stay at this facility, for 3 years the ice machine on 3 floors have not worked, the hot tub has worked 1 time, the security on the doors is less than sub standard meaning no door jambs for the locks to rest in and the doors flop and can easily be opened. Also water leaks on 5th floor ceilings, toilets inoperative at times, this hotel is way run down. I feel the remodel was to cover up the dismay not repair it. This last time was the final straw, now I do smoke and respectively smoke outside since it has become non smoking, well because my room smelled like smoke even though I do not smoke in the facility they charged me 150.00 dollars, Now they had no substantial proof except they told me " you smoked in the room" now knowing I didn't I asked them so every patron that decides to stay at your facility that smokes and when they leave and there room smells like smoke you charge them the answer I got from the manager was "yes we do" her name is Stacy. So because I smoke they charged my card 150.00 hours after I had left, now that sounds a little funny to me 1 it should have been brought up at time of check out, Now mind you again I know I didn't smoke in room 507 so I know they have no evidence to back up any claims they have made that I smoke in there room except the fact that I smoke, now do you really wanna stay at this facility?

The only good thing about this place was a few members of the staff. The housekeepers and kitchen staff were great. As for the rest, NO! Bad rooms, nasty pool and hot tub, upgrades were substandard. We were told by management that my husbands service dog was not allowed in the pool area or in the halls! This was backed by a statement from Corporate. A couple were having sex in the pool. The pool was closed when they chose to leave but note the pool is accessible from the lobby with glass windows all around. Anyone could have been exposed to this. The next day when they were asked to leave… after breakfast of course. Not a place I would ever stay in again!

Sign in front of hotel claims to be New Rooms, renovated hotel. The only thing new was the reception guy, and I know that since he has no clue what customer service is or Choice Members perks are. Elevator has hardly 2 small lights so it is creepy almost totally dark, hotel smells, rooms are far from renovated and even dirty. I travel for living and Comfort Suites has normally been good all across the board but this is definitely the exception of the rule. Try to avoid it, there are several other hotels in the area.

We were asked to leave 3 hours before checkout time due to alleged complaints against us. We asked about the complaints and were given no explanations. The lady who called our room to tell us to leave was extremely rude amd threatened to call police. We seriously did nothing wrong. We dont understand. When we went to the checkout counter in the lobby to speak with the manager, we were told that she had stepped out. It was 930 in the morning. I have no choice but to assume that due to our sexuality and our readiness to be open with who we are, we were unjustly discriminated against. A formal complaint with corporate office is being filed.

Location was awesome and had restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Would stay here again in the future.

I was given a king suite when I just needed a simple room. The room is great for the price. Thge hotel has an indoor heated pool and a nice workout room. With breakfast included, this is a great deal. I will certainly stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay and the staff tried to accommodate in every aspect and I really appreciated it. Especially Ms. Courtney, very professional. The room was very clean and the beds and its bedding very fresh and crisp. "Thank you staff at Comfort Inn Suites".

Dirt sheets and loose hinges doors made for an unpleasant stay. Why the staff tried to be accommodating, they fell short by not providing another room or discounting the unsatisfactory room.

Awful experience. Reserved room 30 days in advance however my room was given away. Gave me another room which wasn't clean. Front desk asked for 30 mins to clean room. Left for 2hrs after traveling 10 hours, room still not clean. Gave us another room which was satisfactory. Management did compensate by taking one day off bill however the facility deserves one star for overall service and appearance.

The staff was extremely friendly and helped us out tremendously when we noticed we had a broken door handle and missing a window on our 5th fkoor room. The staff immediately put us in a new room. Woulld definitely stay here again!

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Do not stay here. First, my husband had made our reservation online and we arrived to find that we had no reservation. The extremely nice front desk lady tried to find us a place to stay, but in one of the rooms the beds were unmade, the toilet leaked, the tub was dirty, and there was tissue on the floor. The second room was cleaner but had a pervasive unpleasant smell which I could not identify. The A/C does not work. The heat does not work. The ice maker was out of order. The elevator was so slow I could have walked up the four flights of stairs to my room while I was waiting for it to come. On the other hand, it is super convenient to the highway, so there is that. Stay here at your own risk.

First week I stayed here there was no hot breakfast first morning, the AC in my room did not work, the toilet ran non stop, the shower leaked non stop, and the pool and hot tub were out of order due to waiting a health inspection. House keeping failed to clean my room, so I went and got them to clean it. Next night, house keeping failed to clean my room, I let the front desk know. Still room was not cleaned. I had to go to the front desk to get soap/towels/coffee/etc, never got my room cleaned. Front desk offered me another room. When I checked out the receipt was not legible, had to go to front desk so I could write the amount I paid on the receipt. Second week, different room. Pool and hot tub still out of order, ice machine is leaking water outside my door to the point your feet slosh when you walk on the carpet. Why do I stay here, not sure other than it is close to my customer, I am a Diamond member many times over, and I don't want to fight Atlanta traffic. Suppose to be here next week, think I will find another Choice Hotel that actually functions even if I have to drive.

This hotel had a stairway in the main entrance that was removed taking away the uniqueness of this hotel, the staff is friendly, the lady in the breakfast room Crystal is awesome, she works hard in the kitchen to keep it clean and food out… she could really use some help…

I must commend the entire hotel staff. These last few days dealing with what was an incredible mess because of all us evacuees and getting our rooms situated and trying to get peoples rooms and dealing with some very aggravated patrons. They all kept their cool, responded professionally and appropriately even when you could tell their nerves were wearing thin. The only complaints I have are on things I'm sure can't be helped. The pool was seemingly out of service… If it wasn't it def needed to be it was very dirty and tile was up so I'm sure it's going through repair. And my room wasn't entirely clean my young child's foot was black from the dirt on the floor in the room within minutes. It was clear it hadn't been mopped in a very long time. Otherwise the staff from the front desk, housekeeping and the breakfast crew were extremely helpful, accomadating, and just destressing and the rest of the hotel seemed very clean an well kept.

After a quite extensive search for a hotel with a pool and hot tub near downtown I found this place. Upon arriving the girl working at the front desk Jade was very nice, but everything from there was down hill. Literally nothing in this hotel is working. First of all we noticed the hot tub was emptied and after further investigation we found a sign on the locked pool door saying health inspectors shut it down. Also the ice machines were out of order and while at the front desk (with Jade who once again was very sweet and helpful) we heard other guests complaining of rooms without functioning air conditioners. Apparently most rooms don't have working A/C units. All I can say is I feel for Jade because I imagine not many people happy with their stay at this Comfort Inn.

My family and I stayed for just one night last night. It was decent… you know, it did the job. The beds were comfy, but the stay wasn't the greatest. The elevators and the ground floor hallway at the elevators smelled of mildew and our shower curtain looked like it as well had some sort of mold or mildew on it. Clearly, the curtain hadn't been changed or cleaned. Our air conditioner started to leak and we called the front desk twice. The first time they gave us a 10-15 wait limit to get the maintenance man up there, about 45 minutes later, no one showed. We called again and they said they were waiting for the maintenance man to get here and start his shift, we asked when that would be and they said they'd let us know. They didn't and no one showed up to fix it at all. The floor by the window was soaked, so we used the towels we had left to mop up the water that we could… We left early and were not happy.

Tube the experience of work there in the year 2002 to 2006… safe that packets there and I stayed a couple of nights that all follow as makes years.

Professional, courteous staff excellent breakfast choices everyday. Clean comfortable rooms, great fitness center and pool. Easy access to interstate 20, minutes to Six Flags and downtown Atlanta. A great choice if staying in the area I will be staying here again.

Absolutely awful. Smells like marijuana and paint. Under construction noises all hours of the night and plastic on the windows so you can see outside at all. Have to leave room for Wi-Fi.

This place is horrible. I reserved a suit with 2 queen beds for my daughter's birthday. Check in is at 3pm and my room was NOT ready. I asked for a credit for my inconvenience, the clerk only gave me a 10% discount. I came back an hour later and was able to check in. But I was NOT given the room that was on my reservation. The clerk told me my reservation was for a suit with 1 king bed. I explained to the clerk that was not what I requested. She says "oh, well that's what you requested based on our computer. " I then show her my email confirmation showing the room I requested was a 2 queen suit. She then explains she doesn't have one available with any apologies. I'm forced to stay here for my daughter's birthday. The room had a foul odor. The bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke. The couches in the suit were HEAVY stained. Never will I stay here again.

I posted a picture of the bed bug bites I received last night. I left at 7 am and there was no one at the front desk to tell about my horrible experience. I called their 1800 number and was hung up on. I called back and someone opened a complaint file and suggested I continue reaching out to the hotel mgmt on my own. I've called the hotel 20 times and still no one is picking up the phone. Cigarette butts everywhere outside, ice machines full of mold. This place is just nasty and no where near worth the $110 I paid to stay for one night.

For the amount of money I spent to stay here n the staff is rude is hell I work n a hotel for 12yrs our guests were a major concern but this staff just dont care are know anything about customers service I will never stay at one these hotel chain n ga again are recommend it to anyone of my family are friends just a terrible pl all around will check out n the morning n try find me somewhere else to stay n pray the staff know how to treat there guest.

This place is TERRIBLE with a capital "T! " The room is filthy, the toilet seat is broken the mattress on the sleeper sofa had blood stains on the bottom side, the carpet baseboard was peeling from the wall, the furniture was beat up. The Wi-Fi rarely worked, I actually had to call some 800# to get connected. The sofa had stains and the seats in the breakfast area were so warn that you could peel off the leather pieces. This place needs additional staff and a total make over. It's like something you'd see on the Travel channel: Hotel Impossible.

The rooms AC did not work had ly at all, bathroom sink and shower did not drain well and everything looked nice but ended up being very cheap. When I spoke to the front desk about these issues this morning, the man working the desk did not seem to concerned. Instead staying again tonight we will be checking out.

Staff has been wonderful but room door is difficult to open and phone doesn't work. AC unit is pulled away from the wall with an inch view of the great outdoors through the gap. Chlorine in the pool is so strong it burns your eyes without even getting in the and maintenance is gone for the day. On the bright side the pillows are very nice.

Checked on Feb 13th 2015 for a 3 day trip. 1. Reserved a handicap room in December using their own website and upon check-in, was advised that the handicap room was available. They offered no assistance and did not even believe my reservation until I showed my actual reservation from their website email. 2. Room was NOT cleaned on the 2nd day and when we called front desk, we were told that we should contact the manager on Monday 3. The bathtub handle that controls the water is fixed to only allow a certain amount of hot water. Warm water will be all you get and that was exactly the same in two other rooms that other family was staying in. 4. On the 3rd morning, they ran out of breakfast at 9:30AM which still leaves about an hour left for their breakfast. Was told to contact the manager on Monday. 5. Wireless internet did not work on the first night and it took them 24 hours to fix the issue. 6. The AC/Heating system will also be limited with controls so if you only have the "normal" warm temperature of a hotel room.

THEY STOLE MY CREDIT CARD INFO — then would not talk to me about it — — — — "There is nothing we can do about this" EVEN Corporate would not do ANYTHING ABOUT IT. ONE Room ONE Night $2200.00.

Every staff I had contact with had a terrible attitude. They have no idea what customer service is. Room was worn and dirty with a strong air freshener smell. There were large groups of teenagers staying on our floor and staff was unwilling to adress their loud behavior at 12:00 am while we were trying to sleep. Would never stay here again.

If you are a platinum member of the mariott, then why would you stay here? Why not stay at the mariott? My family and I had a wonderful stay. When we got to the hotel, the check in went nicely When we got to our room, the air was turned off and the room was 85 degrees. Turned on the air and it cooled down within the hour. The beds are super comfy. Internet was a little spotty at times, but useable. Breakfast wasn't gourmet, but it was a good selection and tasty for free. I needed to print some items from the computer and the lady at the front desk said that I could use the business office for free. When the business office didn't have adobe flash downloaded on the computer there, she was super nice and let me use the front desk computer. And didn't charge me for the printed copies! Is this the a most beautiful hotel in the world? No. But it is nice and the staff are accommodating and polite. Great value for the money and a safe, comfortable place for a family to stay and not have to worry about your kids bothering the snooty booties who should have used their platinum status and stayed at the mariott. I've stayed in places where you had to push something against the door to feel safe! This is definitely a nice, comfortable hotel. Right across the street from Walmart and Cracker Barrell. Leave the Saks and Caviar for the marriotters. I'll stay here again and again.

TERRIBLE! Stay away at all costs! Never even unpacked our bags. First set of rooms reeked of smoke. They were NOT on the 5th floor (smoking floor). Second set of rooms were dirty and had parts of bugs in the bed under the comforter. Staff said they had "recently had rennovations and something may have dropped on the bed" Under the comforter? Really? Checked out and was told there would be no charges. 2 days later, charged. No surprise there! Mutltiple attempts to contact manager Pam Chambers over the course of three weeks via email and phone calls. No response. Unacceptable behavior. Poor business. Manager then lied and denied ever being called or emailed. Refuses to credit rooms. Laughed when I said we have called customer service and logged a complaint. Absolute worst experience. My husband and I are platinum members at the Marriott and know what good customer service is. This hotel and specifically management, PAM CHAMBERS, has no idea what that is. Stay away at all costs.
