Clean room and comfortable bed! One of the more comfortable beds for a motel 6. Looks like it was remodeled recently. Also had an IHOP attached. Room actually had a mini fridge and microwave which was nice.

I expect the entire charge for this room to be removed from my account. I spent the entire evening killing flies. There were maggots crawling out of the bathroom sink. It was the most disgusting hotel stay I've ever been in my life in that place should be condemned. Again, I expect 100% refund immediately. I do plan on following up with the Georgia Board of Health. Absolutely disgusting that anyone would put a room like this on the market for a human being to stay in. Refund my credit card immediately. Total dump. Refund my credit card and close this place down immediately.

We really appreciated the no carpet room and accommodations for our pets. The staff was professional and friendly. We didn't arrive until around midnight and the allowed us a till noon check out without a fuss or fee. Would definitely recommend. Just dont park your huge truck where the nasty ihop manager will pitch a fit about it.

Honestly, the staff at office were ok. But house keeping was very rude thwy hollered at us because they had to come get us clean sheets because there was a sick person in the room and had an accident. And then when they brought the sheets she held her nose like they had some horrible smell when the door was opened. Which I was in the room. And it wasnt bad odor. Then she told us we had to wash them. I ask then what is room Service and laundey for? The room was nasty, look like the doora and walls had not been washed or painted in the bathroom since it was built. I took pictures. It was just a bad experience and will never stay or reccomend family to stay there.

Clean room. Comfortable bed, friendly staff. Would recommend to all my friends.

We were actually eating at the IHOP attached. They were the most accomadating and welcoming staff I have ever encountered at a restaurant! They ALL went above and beyond for folks that strayed in out of the rain 10 minutes till closing time.

I booked this hotel because is near my national guard unit in calhoun… the lady at the front desk wasn't really nice and even though she saw I had all my military gear, duffle bag and rucksack. She still gave me a room on the second floor and all the way to the end of the building. It was my first time staying at the hotel and I wish she would've been more considerate. On the other hand, the rooms were nice and clean. Thank you!

Horrible rooms. I stopped in last minute before heading to Florida from Chicago. I asked for a non smoking room and they gave me a room that deals like smoke. The blankets have cigarette burns on them. … seriously make the extra 30 min drive to nicer hotel. Too bad Holdiay Inn was all booked… seriously worst$60 ever spent.

Stayed there on a Friday night, after being in the semi since Tuesday, in desperate need of a shower. The semi parking is completely around the hotel as to where you have to drive through the parking lot. If someone staying in the hotel parked weird we would have been stuck with no way to move. There was no shampoo in the room. We inquired at the desk and she had everything BUT shampoo. We walked to a couple of gas stations until we found a small bottle. Went to Arby's for food then went back to the room to discover our key cards didn't work. We had to walk clear back around to the lobby to have them reactivated. The bathroom door was warped to the point it wouldn't close. The walls looked as if they had water damage and had just been painted over. Just not a good experience.

Very well kept. Very clean rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. I would highly recommend this place. You get much more then what you pay.

Cons: -no coffee maker. -No iron in the room. The ONE TIME I actually need an iron and there isn't one. I had to call the front desk, walk to the front, pick-up the iron, was told to not keep it for too long, bring it right back, ironed my shirt and pants, then had to trek to the front again. Not a huge deal, but it was certainly an inconvenience. -The plumbing is terrible and loud. Takes forever for the toilet to fill back up and the sink to drain. -ROACHES! Pros: -I didn't get stabbed in my sleep. -The bed was surprisingly comfortable.

Awful! Roaches, several we were afraid to leave our cases unzipped. Paint spatters all over the floors. No iron in room. We had to borrow one from front desk and they were rude about it. No clock. Small flat pillows. Hard mattress. Anyone who gives this place a good rating is a fake or homeless.

I was very surprised by how nice the rooms were. Looks like they may have remodeled recently. Modern furnishings and a very nice big screen tv. The internet was very exceptional, no issues at all. I would stay there again if in town. Every restaurant you can think of is within a mile and it's just seconds from I-75. It's a midway stop between Chattanooga and Atlanta.

So my car breaks down 40 minutes from home. Sucks but thank god I was close to an exit. I pull into Motel 6. Walk in and in good spirits, considering my situation and I kindly ask if they have a room for me and my boy. Lady seem annoyed she has to leave the TV to help us… I mean everyone knows the best show are on at 12:00 AM My lichens is pretty old and she made it very clear she was not happy she had to type in my info and she was doing me some sort of favor. After wards she says cash or credit. I gave her my card and said credit. She runs my card and says I need a pin… I said ok let me have the pad and I'll type it in. She said she needed to do it because she wouldn't let me in. Yes I was locked out in the cold talking threw a window. I said miss just give me my card and I'll go somewhere else… Go Across the street. Place looks like a dump, help is more then Rude, but lazy too. Don't even call not worth your time.

Restaurant (lHOP) was tasty and good. Great service and out waitress even brought our kiddos food early.

Not a bad place to rest your head. A free breakfast is offered, if you so desire. The location is safe and secure. I had no complaints at all.

I gave 3stars because they have no room to keep clothing or anything. But the room was remodeled. The housekeeping staff could be friendlier. For the price you pay though you should get more than coffee served for breakfast.

I have stayed at many motel6 the last few years of all my favorite stay is Calhoun ga motel6the rooms are clean, the staff was great and helpful I recommend to stay motel6 Calhoun ga.

Wasn't terrible, seemed mostly clean. We had to stay as other hotels were all booked. Only had 3 pillows for a King bed, asked for more they did bring. The hotel room phone didn't work though, called from my phone. Bed was in plastic so I knew there had been some bedbug issues, It wasn't very comfortable. Bathroom was rundown and front desk wasn't exactly friendly.

The room was good size, as was the bathroom, however I couldn't use the shower because there was no hot water. Actually, there was no warm water either. I let it run for five minutes on its "hotest" setting and it only went to room temperature.

I'm pretty sure the sheets weren't clean, because I find a crumb in my bed. There was a cockroach in the bathtub too. The area seemed safe enough though and they did hold on to and wash my son's pillow and blanket that he left in the room. We picked it up on the way back through. So, customer service is good and it's up to you to decide whether or not you want to sleep in sheets that may not be clean.

My wife and I can praise the Motel 6 in Calhoun, GA highly, as Florida evacuees from Hurricane Irma. I had called Motel 6's national number and the woman reserved a room there, but she price-gouged us for $124.00, yes, for each night at a Motel 6. But desperate for a place to stay (everywhere was booked), we took it. Yet the friendly Indian couple there saw the problem and charged us only $59.00 a night. That helped us at a difficult time, so we're grateful for their fairness.

Not worth the 65 bucks. The room was 92 degrees and cooled to 80. It was cooler outside but I had to keep the door closed because of all the roaches outside. No ice machine was to be found. Pool closed in the middle of summer. This place is a joke! Do not stay here!

Was serenaded by the several crickets in the room. Was surprised by the realistic abstract wall art of a blood and gore death of a spider. The mattress had more plastic than a Kardashian. Upon leaving the next morning realised the peep hole was indeed a peep hole for anyone outside of the room wanting to take a look through the gaping hole. The pool was closed and tarped over.

Non smoking room smelled like smoke. The room was about 500 degrees when we stepped inside. The AC didn't cool the room quickly at all. Another guy's AC didn't turn on at all. Lady up front wasn't friendly and supposedly​ "didn't know what the rooms were like. " The super 8 across the street is worth the price. In summary: a tent would be better.

This place was awful. I don't even write reviews and I feel the need to write one about this place. We asked for non smoker room but when we got in to the room it reaked of smoke. The microwave didn't work. The shower didn't work. The toilet was busted and moved every time you went to the bathroom. The place was covered in dirt and grime. I don't expect a lot out of motels but this was an all time low. Disgusting.

The room was nice and it was clean and comfortable. Check in took a while as there were people in front of me, however, woman behind desk was very slow. Had just done 11 hours on the road and wanted to get to my room. The ice machine was not where it was indicated it would be and when I tried to call front desk I found the phone did not work. Walked up to the office and found the woman sleeping at her desk or maybe just laying her head down but she woke up when I asked where the ice machine was. Her not very good English got me no where and all I got when asking about the phone not working was a confirmation of my experience with the phone. Finally found the ice machine on the second floor. There is construction material in many different places. I wonder if this is a motel or an apartment complex. People with charcoal grills outside their door. Though I had no trouble some of the guests made me nervous. Motel 6 prices have been steadily going up and at almost $70.00 night I think there are better places. For instance and I have stayed there the Scottish Inn next to Motel 6 has better prices and a lot cleaner environment.
