I'm giving the customer service of this place 5 stars. Isa was VERY HELPFUL and VERY WELCOMING upon arrival. He was able to effectively balance out dealing with guests via the phone and at the front desk during busy hours. Honestly, this has been the best hotel customer service I've experienced in a while.

We enjoyed our stay here tremendously. The staff was super friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed was so comfortable. Beautiful outdoor pool area. They have made a lot of improvements since we were here a year ago.

Very nice hotel for the price. Very well located if you're heading to Busch Gardens (we, ourselves, were not) Front desk staff was nice. Our room was very clean and appeared to have been recently re-painted. Excellent channel line-up. But the TV set itself was old old generation tube. Breakfast was good, but I wish they would get an extra waffle maker. The line for the only existing one was long and slow. All in all, a very good experience.

Perfect place if you just need somewhere to sleep & get some breakfast in the morning. CLEANLINESS: The room smelled clean. Some of the corners weren't vacuumed well, but nothing noticeable. Bathroom was clean, including towels, tub & toilet. NO BUGS anywhere. Didn't go in the pool but it looked clean. The breakfast area was kept clean during the free breakfast. AMENITIES: It is an older hotel that could use updating, but then you'd have to pay more. I was fine with the way it was. The TV was updated. The breakfast was great. It included waffles, syrup, fruit, yogurt, muffins, bagels, toast, peanut butter, cream cheese, apple & orange juice, coffee, & flavored creamer. Everything stayed well stocked. PROFESSIONALISM: Everyone was nice, professional & helpful. MISCELLANEOUS: In room 102, the toilet didn't flush very well, but after a couple flushes, everything went down. The location was ideal because it was close to the highway and only 10 minutes from Busch Gardens. The hotel was not noisy, I felt safe, and the other guests kept to themselves. OVERALL: It was one of the least expensive hotels within 20 miles and I'm glad I found it. I would go back if going to Busch Gardens for a few days. It's not the Hilton, but then neither is the price.

Excellent, very good services and well arranged the place and the rooms. Cordial attention and predisposition to solve concerns.

It was OK for a motel. The main lobby looks nice but the inside of the room feels dirty. The carpet is extremely stained and the sheets was dingy with nail polish on them. The lobby attendant was nice and we got a good deal for the 1 night we was in town but I definitely wouldn't stay there again… There is a pool area.

Breakfast was all prepackaged, it was ok. We stayed Thursday — Tuesday, Sunday and Monday we had to go to the office to get our room keys reactivated, without apology, since they had shut them off at checkout time. The walls are pretty thin between rooms, just hope you don't get a room beside a bunch of yelling teens at midnight. No mini fridge, it microwave available so we couldn't take restaurant left overs with us. Hot water never ran out, the pool area was quiet, housekeeping was great, TV has plenty of channels, easy access to I-275, and close to many attractions and restaurants.

This hotel was dirty. The ironing board was dirty and would not raise to proper height. The carpet had not been vacuumed. The sink was dirty and stained by the drain opening. Also, every morning I woke up to the smell of marijuana in the bathroom in my room. I would not recommend this hotel to no one. I did not feel safe a night. I walked by a room that the curt stain was pulled back and a mattress was propped up against the curtain. The room looked as if it had been abandoned and unkept.

It's a 2 star hotel, but I was pleased. It's not a great area, but if you need somewhere to stay for a night, I was pleasantly surprised. Rooms are older but kept clean, nothing amazing. Night time was quiet mostly, breakfast in the morning was limited, but very glad it was there. I maybe wouldn't recommend this for a family setting, but for a single guy travelling, this was below my budget and exceeded expectations. Free food always helps.

Half a hair, my room has no fridge even though we ordered it. The carpet smells and the bathroom is old.

Perfectly decent hotel at a very affordable rate. It's not a Hilton, but you're also not paying for a Hilton. It was the lowest cost place in a low crime rate area. Room was clean and functional; staff were friendly and welcoming; my biggest complaint about the place was that the shower head was kind of low (I'm 6'4", I had to squat a little to was my hair). The place was quiet, I got a great night's sleep on a comfortable bed, and woke up to a beautiful landscape outside. Definitely recommend staying here!

If I could choose zero stars, I would. This place was horrible! I'm still in shock. Dirty, smelly, stains in the carpet, dog food underneath the table, holes in the bed spread, roaches everywhere (I had to go buy bug spray), air filled with cigarette smoke, no blanket on the bed & room service didn't clean the room. How did this place pass inspection? It was more like a " Motel " for pimps & prostitues. Never ever again! This company should be closed down. Ruin my family vacation.

The rooms are relatively clean and need a fresh look as the rust on the faucets the shower tray The hinges of the doors is ubiquitous.
This corresponds to a small ordinary nice hotel and a good value for money.
I think for having made California in 2016 that this problem is recurring for all of these hotel chains of this category. I think we need to put minimum 70 dollars to get something right.

Dont use the dryers. Room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is between 6-9am. They are hospitable and pleasant.

Property condition is below acceptable standards. Old, dirty, smelly, charges too much for what you get. I have to tolerate 4 nights of this no thanks to Expedia and Trivago. The heater pumps out cold air. Minimal outlets for charging phone or laptop. You have to dig behind the side tables to get to an outlet. Not biz travel friendly. Keys didn't work for room 135 and then got fixed. The front desk service is good but still Hope the days pass fast.

My room gave me a roommate. Mr. Cockroach! No mini fridge as it advertised. Furniture, fithly. Kids, no. Unless all druggies. Very unpleasant. Expedia, doesn't have good advertisement for hotel. Drive by don't stop.

Very good place… first-rate service.

The room was nothing like it looked in the picture. The pool was closed down for repairs and the front of hotel was caution roped off. When we got there we weren't even sure if they were open as the lot was bare. The people were very nice and polite, very friendly… which is why I rated it a 2 instead of a 0.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and close to the location we needed to be at. The pool was down for whatever reason but honestly that wasn't a big deal. Very affordable and comfy.

Very comfy place. Can't hear any foot traffic it noise. Comfortable, clean beds & nice flat screens with lots of channels. Ignore the bad ratings. Safe place also surrounded by 4 gas stations, Walmart superstore & lots of food places around here. Thumbs up!

It is a last minute thing. The hotel is in a perfect spot. Quite a few retailers including Walmart, less than a block away. $3 per load to wash. $3 per load to dry. Walkers of the night live there. No one bothered me though. I didn't have a fridge or microwave. Kind of quiet.

My wife and I stayed here for a week after our apartment move-in date was delayed due to remodeling. We got a reasonable weekly rate and the hotel was pretty decent. It's definitely showing it's age, but it was overall satisfactory. The beds are comfortable, every day the housekeeping was done adequately and the room smelled very nice afterward. It had all the essentials, but not much more. Continental breakfast isn't much, but if you can live with an apple and a waffle or muffin you'll be fine. The pool was a nice surprise — kept clean and was great to relax in. The place could definitely use some remodeling, especially with the awning in front of the lobby practically falling in. Overall, I would give it a 7/10. For the area, it's a good price and feels safer than many others in sketchier areas.

I stayed at Vista Inn, after having an intense and fantastic day at Busch Gardens. The accommodations are reasonable, the mattresses are in excellent conditions although the night stand wasn't secured. It's an excellent place to stay overnight after a long day. The room doesn't have towels so bring your own. The breakfast is served from 6 am to 9 am and is reasonable includes waffles, cereal, bread, bagels, fruits, coffee and juice. I won't stayed for a long time because it doesn't have any amenities besides a pool. Overall, it's not pricy and I'll used only for an overnight stay.

Horrible. Gross. Do NOT stay here. Everywhere. There was poop on the guest restroom floor for 2days straight. Nobody cleans the guest bathrooms. This is a gross hotel. Unless u R a crackhead or a bum do NOT go.

I gave a 3 star because you can't expect much from a place like this. I got what I paid for. Check in is at 3pm. They let me check in early but I was given a room that still wasn't finished being cleaned. The bathroom needed to be finished. So though I checked in earlier to sleep, the cleaner crew was still in and out. I did like the do it yourself waffles.

Nice location right off the interstate, hotel was clean on the inside of the room and the out side of the room was well kept also. The pool was very clear and clean also. It was one of the best hotels I have been at in Tampa. Very discreet, I loved it.

We drove 11 hours to Tampa from Tennessee, we get to the hotel and check in. We go to our room search for bed bugs and fount BED BUGS. The refrigerator was broke and looks nothing like their photos. Bath tub was dirty and floors looked like they havent been cleaned. We go to the desk and tell the lady that there was beg bugs, showed her the picture, she walked up and checked. Put the money back on the card and told us their was nothing she could do for us, called the cops to get us for trespassing. She wouldnt show us the policy nor would she give us the managers number. I recommend you not to go there.

Horrible rooms if you can avoid this hotel do it rooms smell horrible and bed had stains I'm sure for 98 dollars a night I could of got something better elsewhere.

Awful the place has cockroaches and lizards also showers have mold and I was not able to brush my teeth also maid service takes too long and rooms have cockroaches in the bathroom and other places this place need to be shut down. I'm calling health inspector.

My experience was horrible! Roaches under the sheets, skeet on the pillows! I have never receieved such horrible service as I did at this place. Deplorable!

Staff was great and very accomidating. Beds were confey.

Where do I start. 1. Our door handle didn't work and we were instructed to body slam the door in order to get in. 2. After we got help we were left standing outside for 15 minutes for a new room until we figured out he was never coming back; so we had to go all the way back to the office to remind him we were still there. 3. Once we got a new room, the bathroom was disgusting, the sink was leaning and there were spiders. 4. There were stains on the carpet and it had a musty smell in the room. 5. The people at the front desk were rude and unfriendly. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Overpriced, one night with military discount will cost $85, prefer to book at an Airbnb instead.

The tiny cotton ball pillows on the Queen sized bed killed my neck and back. 2 extremely small pillows for a bed that size meant to be shared is ridiculous. The pricing we were offered at the window vs what is posted on every site was 20 dollars more.

I'm a real person will never come back just nasty.

For one front desk very rude asking for a 100 deposit for a dump! First off front desk lady give my husband attitude after several times stay there that he couldn't pay cash as first till she end up so. Second of all our non smoking room smelled like smoked. Three we change room cause around 2-3am guest would be out drinking loudly. Fighting throwing and front desk never said nothing some people work and have kids have consideration. Fourth the room was full of roaches so we finally then decide to change room mainly cause rude guest. But then the other room was 2x worst with roaches and we just asked them can I room could have been cleaning and disfected from roaches ND manager tells my husband pack your stuff and leave. Really? That's a way to treat your guest that not only that his front desk lady laugh in my husband face like foul please. Then of course I went to check out the problem nicely with no attitude no profanity and Manger call the cops to remove us. Plus trepassed us which was not all called for cause I went up with manner. Anysway Housekeeping were great when I asked them but there were time to time they ain't supply towel o soaps. Two room roaches everywhere mattress torn mold around ring of the tub but to them it was okay! It wasn't ever and issue just can something could of been done with the roaches. I'm not going to wake up every morning with roaches on my kids food.

I checked in on 8/14/15 and the rate was $71.00 per night for Fri and Sat and $57.00 for Sun and Mon. They put holds on my account exponentially. So the first day my bank account showed a $71.00 hold, second day show the 71 plus a $142.00 the third day it showed the 71 the 142 and a $199.00 and to top it off the forth and final day was 71, 142, 199 and another $256.00 so in total the had a hold on my account for $668.00 and some change. When I approached the office about the matter they told me they had a new system and the money would be back my account in 7 business days. I told them that it was unacceptable as I needed that money to get back to Ct for gas and food. They said there was nothing they could do. I called my bank from hotel counter and had some charges released but was a nightmare to do so. It took several calls over the next few days from my bank threatening and fraud investigation to get my funds back. That being said my room was just plain nasty. Tub and floor in bathroom extremely slippery tile on floor not meant for floor tile. I am in construction so I know was wall tile "very slippery". No clean towel or face cloths after first day. I went to front desk and they were out each day. My trash was not dumped whole time there. I noticed that a lot of prostitution going on here as there are many strip clubs up the street. The noise at 2-3 am from them checking in woke me up. I had same sheets all four days.

If you asked me 3 years ago when I visited I'd tell you how much I loved it there. On 5/23/15 I checked in. I wanted to pay with cash but the front desk agent said if so i'd have to pay a $100 deposit (they didn't ask for one 3 years ago when I paid cash) but understable most places do especially considering the holiday weekend. So I use my card which I noticed she swiped twice for some reason I just assumed the first time didn't work. She finishes my paperwork and hands me the key to the room. Once in the room it seemed pretty ok. Till im by the sink and drop something. As im on the floor I notice there's a huge hole in the wall under the sink that was so big you could see inside the other room. Terrified of any rodents coming through it I immediately block the hole with a towel. Fast forward a little. I checked out the room and go home. I pull up my credit card information and notice I was charged for the room once on 5/23/15 and once on 5/24/15! I immediately call the Vista Inn from desk and John answers I tell him the situation and he informs me that one charge "i guess maybe a deposit" and should've been put back in my account after check out but since it was Sunday maybe it wouldn't do it till Monday. I was never informed of any such deposit for credit or debit card usage. IN THAT CASE I WOULD'VE PAID CASH! He brushed it off and told me to call back Monday if it still hadn't been placed back in my account. It's now Monday 5/25/15.

We will never come back we ask for clean towels we didn't get them we had to go to the front and get them than the BED was dirty than we had BED BUGS thank u for NTHIN.

The personnel its very polite and try to do its best to please us during the only night we expend there. Unfortunately the roms had an unpleasant and shoking smell. After a while I feel unconfortable by feeling bites sensations. When searching the bed I found not less than 10 ticks, I took a few photos and went to the front desk, but the doors are closed so I have to use the service window on a chilling nite. The clerk apologies and book me in a new room for free and canceled the rest of the reservation without penalties. Also there are no coffemaker, iron and board, nor hair drier as the reservation contract states. It's needs a renovation and sanitation urgently.

Horrendous experience. Took this on a recommendation of a friend's fiance. Just about everything bad written happened to me too. Room smelled like smoke even though I requested non-smoking. Sink backed up. Woke up to a domestic violence type situation. Can clearly hear everything through the walls. Just terrible. Pay the extra money and go elsewhere.

Horrible! Puke on the curtains, green dried mucus in sink. No ice machine, no toilet paper. One front desk person waited 20 minutes to check in. Avoid! They do not clean the rooms between guests. There was hair everywhere and you can still find trash from the guests before you.

So I get all my stuff up to my 2nd floor room and the keys don't work. I bring everything back to the car and go back to the front WINDOW. The front desk lady was mostly helpful. She got me into a new room since her key wouldn't open the door. It was a king bed, like I ordered, but smoking. I book a king non-smoking. I think the room that didn't work was a queen smoking. Place is in okay shape, pretty ratty. They have a sign at the front window saying they only clean the rooms once per week. Ugh. On my last night it turns out that the front desk clerk didn't enter my room change into the computer. SO some loud couple began opening my door as I'm working on my laptop. Good think I had the extra latch closed. Front desk just said they would get it straightened out in the computer. Didn't offer much of an apology. Terrible place. I brought a sleeping bag to sleep on top of th ebed and my own towel. Their bedding, pillows and towels all look pretty crappy. But hey, $50, why not. Should be more like $35 though.

Walked in the lobby and the place smelled like wet dog!, dude at the front desk was cool, he told us the water pipe busted and that it would be an hour (took alsmost 3hrs and the water was not even warm smh. The room also smelled like wet dog. We decided to leave the "hotel" F that. (They gave us a full refund) they had no control over the pipe, but the smell! C'mon man, clean that hoe, also saw a silverfish (insect).

So here it goes. My first review ever. Sadly it isn't a good one. First and foremost, this was pretty close to the worst place that I've ever stayed and I've stayed at some pretty bad places. When I arrived, I knew it was going to be pretty bad, but I figured it was late at night and I was really tired. I asked the guy at the front desk if my room was a non-smoking room and he said that it wasn't but "all of the rooms are deep cleaned". Ha. First and foremost, the door wouldn't open because the door knob was installed incorrectly. After finally getting the door open. Bam. A stench like no other came from the hot nasty smoke smelling and clearly musty odor. Upon going into the bathroom, I noticed fecies in the toilet as if the room wasn't even cleaned at all. Very sad. If I weren't so tired, I would leave right now and go find another place to rest my head. I also overheard the guy at the front desk say that there were no vacancies. When walking to my room I noticed that probably half the rooms appeared to be vacant. No wonder places like this always change there names so that the stigma surrounding their bad name may get washed under the 10 year old outdoor carpet that they decorate these places with. I just hope there aren't bed bugs. If you haven't booked this place yet. Take this as a warning. Don't stay here.
