Attended a youth awards event at this location. Room was clean, food was good, members of the staff were helpful. During the buffet however, some of the dinner plates in the stack weren't clean or they just looked old. Staff members should also me a but more discreet when cleaning up the plates from the tables — there was a lot of banging and door opening/closing for cleanup during the awards ceremony, that made it very distracting. There needs to be a better cleanup process that doesn't interrupt an event and ruins the atmosphere.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in my life. The service was on par with five star hotels we’ve stayed at. Plus the location is amazingly close to the Busch gardens theme park. There’s lots to do nearby and great places to eat too! Having stayed with my extended family, we were pleasantly surprised with the service and quality of the hotel. Would def recommend to anyone looking for a nice, comfortable and clean room to stay at with the family.

Room is nice. The courtyard and pool where also very nice. Very close to many things. Only problem we had was it took a long time to cool room off but once it was cool it stayed that way. It was 95 outside so understandable that it took awhile to cool off.

Refrigerator was left open so it wasn't cold. The a/c unit is very loud. Ive decided not to use the A/c unit so I can sleep. The refrigerator is extremely loud. Bed is hard, felt like sleeping on a wooden board. Towels need cleaned better. There was hair on my towel when I took it down off the shelf. The towel I grabbed for the floor was stained.

Front desk ladies were rude! We drove almost 3 hours to this hotel to stay for 2 nights, paid ahead of time and made our reservations. When we first made the reservation there was no extra charges listed or any type of information saying we would have to pay an extra $50 when we got here. Then I complained to the lady at the desk and she didn't say a single word to me. I said where is the manager? She and the other lady both said "we are managers". WELL that's not very good management to me and I'm highly dissatisfied with this place already. Thanks for ruining my vacation before it could even start. I'll never stay here again.

The staff was amazing here and the rooms are beautiful, updated and clean. The pool area is clean and tropical — it feels like a piece of paradise. Plus, they shuttle you to Busch Gardens any time and will come pick you up. It was such a convenient way to see the park. We didn’t want to leave … they made us feel like family!

Love Holiday Inn, but this one was not right for me. Your key may demagnetize at a late hour and there's no security or front desk help here late at night. During the morning, day, and evening though this place was never short of noise. Whether it was kids running up and down the halls or screaming while playing in the pool, or adults having loud conversations socializing in the adjacent courtyard outside the room beyond midnight… this was a bad choice for a place to unwind and relieve stress. If you're a night owl and/or have small children, this may be paradise. Just not for me. The standard rooms there are very small, next time I'll get the suite.

Was there for a seminar, not an overnight guest. It was okay. There were four public restrooms available, which of more than usual. The conference room, though, was only accessible through the pool, and sat above a greasy sneaking restaurant, which was weird. Imagine business suits walking by old dudes and young ladies suntanning and trying to cross the pool area without slipping. The place seemed reasonably clean, though, and the staff was pleasant.

A small hotel conveniently located near Bush Gardens, with remodeled clean but small rooms. We could not use the coffee maker and hair dryer because the electrical outlet was loose and did not work. The Hotel restaurant was a major disappointment. There was not enough room for more tables and the service was slow to non existent. It took 55 minutes to get our simple breakfast. At night, if you stay on the first floor, people sit at the tables outside the restaurant and it is hard to get to sleep. There are many restaurants around to get breakfast, don't loose time getting mad in this one. At 9:30 p. M I tried to get a table for me and my husband, but they told me the kitchen was closed. A few minutes later, as I was going to my room in front of the restaurant, a family of 6 went in and were politely taken to a table. I would go to another hotel next time.

Staff was friendly. Pool was temperature controlled which was awesome until someone vomited in it and it was closed down. Our refrigerator really didn't get cold. The bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping was hit or miss. One day the bed wasn't made another day we had no towels. The third night was perfect. do not eat at burger theory. First night we ate there. They burnt 3 of 3 burgers ordered. The breakfast is gross and never cooked as ordered. You wait 2 hours to get your food. The second morning I got physically ill after eating it. That was the last time we ate there. We had free breakfast tickets and choose not eat there after the second day. However, the bar on site was convenient but it is definitely cheaper to buy alcohol from local stores. Shutter service was great and FREE. I had free parking passes but if you plan to drink at the park it is the most responsible thing. They drop you right at the front. No one wants to have a long walk to their car after walking all day. All 3 days we didn't have to wait to be picked back up.

The parking is horrible! One way in & no way out. Then you have to figure out how to turn around without hitting someone else's vehicle. You can only park on one side of the building. If your room is on the other side, you have to walk. The staff was rude. Expected my family to come to the desk to get more towels. They only had 3 towels for 4 people staying. One lamp didn't work. Not enough outlets. Plenty of counter space. Really? Lumpy pull out bed. Furniture is peeling. Clutch cushions coming apart at the seams. Have to come out of the bathroom to get dressed because there's no hanger. The only shelf in the bathroom is holding the towels. No where to put your clothes down. So you have to remember to bring your robe or come out of the bathroom in a VERY small towel to get dressed. The lock oon the "master bedroom" doesn't work. Will not return.

My Rotary Club meets here every Monday. I absolutely love having our weekly lunch meetings here for so many reasons. The staff are more than accommodating and make our time very enjoyable.

This place is amazing! Very clean, very quiet and peaceful. The employees are very welcoming and helpful. Would recommend this place for sure!

Welcome home. Large Room suite at a very affordable price. Membership for Busch Garden included. Really worth it.

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel had an unique design by surrounding the restaurant with the rooms, making the area very safe. The center had a pool and waterfall that the kids loved and even gave us a free upgraded room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and Busch Gardens.

I stayed here for two days. The front desk clerk was very pleasant, professional, and polite. He made sure the stay was good. I felt very safe there. The room was clean. I had no problems here at all. I will stay here again. This place is outstanding. I was very pleased.

I work here, but if I were a guest I would love it here. Very inviting courtyard property, greenery and heated outdoor pool. Guest laundry and gym. The Burger Theory restaurant has famous food and I must say I'm one of many great staff, eager to impress! Come see for yourself! We promise you'll want to return! See you soon!

The staff very professional and courtesy. They make one feel like one of the family. The rooms are very clean, the pool very well maintained. The restaurant very clean also.

Really close to restaurants and Bush garden and USF campus. The pool is good. The room was good and spacious. The couch bed was not comfortable (never have been on one that ever was tho…) The staff was very friendly! Didn't get a chance to try their restaurant.

We chose this hotel because of the proximity to Busch Gardens for Halloween Horror Nights. We were planning on using the shuttle to transport us to and from the park but it was a small van and we would have had to wait a long time so we just opted to drive ourselves to the one point four miles. The rooms were good and plenti spacious we had 5 people in a two double with a pull out couch Suite. The front desk was very polite and accommodating. The pool area was nice even though we didn't take advantage of it but we did have breakfast in the little burger place on the hotel property which is pretty good. I would stay here again if we got a good deal on a room.

Waiting at Busch Gardens for over an hour for the shuttle we called for. Called back and told sorry we aren't running any more shuttles. Holiday Inn Express picked up 3 more times after that. Had to take an Uber back to the hotel we paid for specifically because they run shuttles to Busch Gardens. Never again!

I've heard of southern hospitality, but real southern hospitality is here from the front desk all the way to the maintenance crew. I seen this one guy when he was coming through the door, had kind of an attitude, but after he left from the counter (I kid you not) his attitude completely changed to at least, to a 90 to 95 % change of happiness. There's something definitely here worth coming back to.

My house was out of power because of hurricane Irma (for days after the storm), and my family and I were driving and calling around trying to find somewhere to stay that had AC and running water. EVERYWHERE was full due to the hurricane. This Holiday Inn was our salvation! The last room available was a little pricey at $125 but when we walked in, it was so worth it. Lovely employees at the front desk. Only disappointment was no complimentary breakfast. Other than that, incredible quality service and beautiful room. Forever thankful.

I was impressed with the staff and the service was imperative they put every effort forward to make us comfortable. I would tell anybody looking for a place to feel comfortable, this is it. Thanks for a pleasant shelter from the Hurricane.

Burger Theory restaurant was a win for some good soul food in the morning. Customer service was decent and they put up with my excessive shipping from Amazon. The rooms definitely leave a lot to be desired. I wanted to give 4 stars but I can't look past that.

Tara was awesome at the front desk. She was very helpful and so were the other ladies at the front desk. The rooms were very clean well organized. Would recommend staying to any one. Plus you're right around the corner from Bush Gardens.

Cool Hotel right next to Busch Gardens. Comfortable King Bed, and courteous/friendly staff. The only complaint is the air conditioner was not the best in 345. Other than that great stay all around!

Hotel has a wonderfully​ landscaped court yard with lots of trees and a water feature. Lots of tables and chairs to enjoy the open air pool. Rooms were clean and updated. Staff was very nice. Management could work on organization of staff and that would put this place over the top. Would stay again.

The hotel is pretty clean. They have very limited parking. The bathroom is small. They tell you free breakfast but it's not. They charged us for four days when we were only staying two. Cable channels are limited, The housekeepers are up at 7am rolling their cart around. I will never come back!

My family was very impressed. The staff was very, very polite. We could not ask for better service. I would recommend this hotel.

This place is amazing. Tori greeted us and made the stay start wonderful. She was pleasant to us and our daughter. Our room was clean, smelt and looked great. The court yard there are no words for how beautiful it was. The pool was great also. The staff thru our the entire bulidling was very friendly. Bed was comfortable and sheets and blankets were clean. They definitely take time in cleaning it shows. Thou we didn't eat at the hotel I can tell you all 3 days we were here it smelt so yummy. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I would recommend it to anyone and we are already planning to come back. Thank you from Wisconsin family.

Loved this hotel! Clean, clean room! Large bedroom area with a large separate living room area. It was perfect! In the executive suite there is a door to separate the living room from the bedroom so some family can sleep and others watch tv! We loved the pool area that had festive patio sets overlooking a beautiful courtyard area. The pool was heated and clean! Staff and management was polite and helpful. We will definitely come here again! Only one mile from Busch gardens! We couldn't have picked a better place! Thank you staff for the excellent experience!

Worst experience i've had at a hotel, its hard to even rate it one star. The ac in my room wasnt working so we requested a room change and we got it but the next morning when we were checking out we found out that they charged us extra to "upgrade" the room (they never told us that they would charge us for it). Very unreasonable staff. Even the towels were dirty. Try and avoid this place if you can.

Planned the moon family reunion for three days at the hotel staff was excellent accommodated our ever wish the room were very clean and comfortable breakfast was well prepared our family members really enjoyed there stay would recommend hotel to all also thanks dave excellent job.

The Hotel is very nice now that Holiday Inn has taken over. Although I think a little pricy. But I guess I should've expected that since all the rooms are two room suites.

The hotel was okay. I liked it and I would stay there again-BUT only under different management. The parking was good (though it was a really hard turn off from the road). The front desk staff was mostly friendly (one of the ladies was particularly amazing). The lobby was nice. The pool was pretty pathetic and we a had difficult time opening the gates around it (I appreciate the idea of keeping kids safe, but it was a little ridiculous to open them. You had to pull really hard up and that was not easy with a handful of luggage). The guy in the kitchen was super grumpy and a really crummy cook. (Who pissed in your cheerios dude? ) Really not anywhere inside to lunch or dinner so we walked across the street to Village Inn. I enjoyed the drive there from Orlando because it was so green and luscious. However, the view was terrible-from our room we had a wonderful view of a run down parking lot. But I'd still be giving a good review if my husband and I hadn't been ripped off here. I actually hate to say this because I liked the layout and atmosphere of the hotel, but this management is just trying to rip people off to avoid going into debt. My husband and I stayed here while on our honeymoon for two nights to go to Busch Gardens. We got a good price for two nights ($220) and I really liked the shuttle. Upon returning from the trip we saw two charges to our card from the hotel. One charge for $220 and another for $214.

I really like it they are so nice and if I ever come back I'm coming here.

Its alright here but just that ok. Be back hmm maybe. But the place is lacking enough towels.

Hotel is getting updated but the management isn't. Consider me checked out of this hotel forever.

The Hotel Was Huge For the price and clean but my experience was BAD! This was my first and Last Time ever staying at this location again! We went on my boyfriends (01-04-14) birthday, I was taking a shower and from steam the smoke alarm went off, The Worker at the front desk had called asking was everything okay, I explained what happened with the shower he laughed yes that happens. Thought everything was okay. Next thing I hear a knock at the door (Fire Department) He accused us of Smoking blunts! Lied and told the hotel he saw us smoking and they almost charged me $300 dollars over a Lie! I was furious; I never smoked and never will. After we let the worker come search and smell she found or smelled nothing. Tampa Fire Department 13-A is full cramp.

We had an excellent stay. The room was very clean. Everything worked. Front desk was awesome, very friendly and courteous. There was a small leak in the tap of the bathroom, room had 2 TV with Hd channels. Pool area was ok, the set up was great. Bush gardens was like 2 minutes away Btw, good +. Thank u.

This hotel is very disappointing. The pictures are very deceiving. The lobby is very small and dated. The pool is very small also. The hall ways, stair ways and elevators are really dirty. Not well maintained at all. Although the rooms are pretty clean they are really really tiny, tiny, tiny. After a long hot day at Busch Gardens we got back to the room to cool off take a shower and a nap to be able to go out and for the evening. Instead we got back to the room and discovered the A/C not working and after waiting for it to get fixed for 2 hours and learning they did not have a maintenance person there after 5:00 when it reached 82 degrees in the room we changed rooms which was a lot of work. This screwed up the plans for the evening totally. Then the toilet in the room ran continuously so we had to turn off the water at the shut off. Neither one of the phones in the room worked so we were unable to get for a wake up call. Most of the staff was great except the manager when you would approach her at the desk you would get chastised if you started talking to her before she was thru flipping thru the mail or what ever else it was she would be doing. You learned quickly to just stand there and let her acknowledge you.

Nice looking motel and got a great deal online where it was cheaper to bundle the hotel with a flight than it was to buy the plane tickets alone. Most of the staff members with the exception of one woman were rude and won't even acknowledge you when you go to the front desk for assistance or the restaurant and are waiting to be seated. There are several restaurants within walking distance and a lot of options for delivery food also. The room we stayed in was a suite, it was spacious and clean and were were given coupons for a. Complimentary meal but never took advantage of it. D a desperate living room space and a mini fridge and microwave. Another perk of this place is that there a beautiful garden and swimming pool with a bar next to it which was nice. All in all the room was nice, the weather was warm and the staff was cold ; but I'd still stay there again for the price.

My wife and I reserved a ballroom at the Holiday Inn for our daughters sixteenth birthday scheduled for May 19, 2012 from 6 P. M. To 10 P. M. What should have been a memorable Sweet Sixteen ended up being a regrettable sour sixteen. The event left us completely dissatisfied and disenchanted with the franchise, after this debacle it is doubtful that they will ever be trustworthy. We were promised that there would be signs directing invitees to the to the event, there were none. We were promised drinks were to be delivered and served by 6 P. M. The drinks were eventually delivered at 7 P. M. No servers and worse no drinking cups an hour after the beginning of the event. Approximately 45 minutes after several calls were placed to the front desk the cups were eventually delivered. Fruit and vegetable trays were delivered 45 minutes later than promised and without eating utensils. Again several calls were made to the front desk to express our disdain and discontent for poor service. Things continued to worsen as the night progressed. Finally the chicken drumettes that we ordered which were supposed to be delivered at 7 P. M. Showed up at about 8:00 P. M. The guests began eating only to discover the food was under prepared. The chicken appeared to be cooked on the surface but, beneath the surface was a bloody mess literally and figuratively. There were no waste receptacles for the guest to discard waste.
