Had the most lovely romantic getaway in the Taylor Cottage Highly recommend. Impeccably decorated and appointed. Can’t wait to come back. Very relaxing. Beautiful grounds away from the hustle and bustle and our busy lives. Plus dog friendly. ❤️

Beautiful houses to stay in. Everything you could ask for in the cabins. Very comfortable beds. AC worked great. Lots of hot water. The pool, hot tub, and petting zoo topped it all off.

So many great rentals, one President Carter had a Family Reunion at. The pool was very refreshing after a day on salt water. Lots to explore and very peaceful. We stayed in Heron's Honeymoon Retreat at the end of August.

Best place to have a vacation even if it’s for a few days!

Love the swing and front porch rockers at our beautiful cottage. Beautiful setting, great place for kids with the playground and other activities. Great place to relax!

My family and I stayed here this past weekend and my kids were very excited they had a "petting zoo". There was no one around the area, so we called the front desk to be sure we
were allowed inside. We spoke with a woman from the front desk who assured us we could go inside and that the animals were very friendly. My 2 year old son was viciously attacked by a goat after petting it. It was extremely traumatic for my son, myself and my 3 year old daughter. After calling to report the incident (because no one is there on the weekends) the buck was then passed to the Steinhatchee Landing Homeowners Association because they "owned the goats". Of course, no one is in the office for them on the weekends either. I left a message and still no one has gotten back to me. There is NO SIGN that says enter at your own risk or any kind of indication that these animals may not be used to being pet. The website literally uses the term "petting zoo". This is completely unacceptable.

A lovely and quiet destination in the off season. The Serendipity cottage was beautiful, but could use a couple of new sofas. Having the boat docks on the property was truly convenient. A very short drive to restaurants, and a nice playground, petting zoo, and beautiful grounds and chapel.

Love The landing resort. The perfect resort to kick back relax and of course do a bit of quilting. My great grandchildren loved the pool and of course the petting zoo. Check out cottage 16. The Pepper.

We have been vacationing here since 2000. We love it and come back every year. A great family place and a place to get away from the hectic things in our every day life.

This place is a hidden gem! If you've never been… you MUST put it on your list! Steinhatchee is a small fishing village loaded with countless adventures!
If you're looking for a spot for a family reunion, weekend getaway or a wedding venue… this is THE place! The resort area is enchanting & beautifully maintained. There is a beautiful wedding chapel surrounded by lush grounds & gardens. Flowers in bloom everywhere you look, a large gazebo & several koi ponds. There's a pool with restroom facilities & walking paths throughout the property. Finally, all of this is a 2 minute walk to the landing. You can bring your own boat & moor it there. The river is gorgeous! I could go on but instead I recommend you go see for yourself! Hope this has been helpful! 0
