Great staff, good food, room are clean, pool was nice too.

Our first night of a 3 night stay had us wishing we had chose a different motel.
The bar across the street had live music that was very loud along with their patrons. We called the front desk to ask when the music ended next door, 11:00 pm we were told.
The people next door to us were so loud that a call to the front desk to complain had to be made. This was after the music stopped next door.
Then about 6:00 am they were back at it again.
I would not recommend staying at this motel. In fact we should be compensated for our stay.

Renovated room and very clean.

Wonderful service, great rooms that are newly renovated with super comfy beds! They offered a nice selection at breakfast that should appeal to most people. We had a wonderful experience overall and look forward to staying here again!

Every person at the front desk is so nice Mary Jane & John. The power went out and of course you have them couple assholes, I mean of course it’s not there fault. So, we went out and called just to make sure it was back on & stayed a second night. It’s clean and they make small omelets that are really good, breakfast is free. Next door to Perkins & Monkey bar. Every room has a balcony except the 1st floor.

Stayed here for two nights for my wedding. The staff was nice. Out of state family told me they enjoyed their stay as well. Breakfast was good. The staff even held on to my cake top in an employee fridge because the rooms' fridge was too small. Would stay here again.

We have stayed at the Westin Cape Coral, Fla and the Hyatt Regency Marathon Florida during the last 2 years and never, ever, had a problem taking our pet with. We did not get placed in a dog room with urine on the carpets or disrespected like we did at the Holiday Inn Express in Cape Coral. God, we even left before the freebie breakfast the next morning. We both experienced stomach distress for a day after our experience. The local Express told us we booked under a 3rd party and should complain in their ears to get back our paid up front booking fees. I'm to old to go around with 3rd party booking site and expect some consideration from the money payed out for 2 nights and stressed out due to the kennel situation of the room they put us in. Was so bad I decided to drive our dog back home 20 minutes away and go back to the hotel with out him. For the $360.00 plus paid we feel that, to put int bluntly, we got screwed over and didn't by the reading of the rules by the front desk.

This hotel is clean, well kept, and staff was friendly and helpful. We checked in at 4pm and the room let's had been premade and the process took 3 minutes. The pool was clean and heated which was a bonus in May as there had been rain for the last week and the pool would otherwise have been frigid. The breakfast was excellent for non-vegans, but otherwise basic for those who are offering options of fruit, juice, and some cereals. The only hitch in the entire visit was the tub did not empty reasily, so after the first shower maintenance came and fixed the problem. The pool towels ran out frequently, but they quickly refilled once made aware. Overall the experience was a good one, I would stay there again.

The hotel was excellent. The staff was very nice and attentive to our needs. The room was clean and comfortable. It was convenient to everything. Sanibel Island, beaches and the Lighthouse about 20-25 minutes away. The best part is they are a few steps away from Perkins. Literally a few steps and they give you a 10% coupon to use at Perkins and other eateries in the area for staying at the hotel. The only thing I did not care about was their breakfast but everything else made up for it.

This specific holiday Inn is in a great location very close to food such as Culver's, Wendy's etc. Their breakfast is served from 6-10 am which was a pretty good time to accommodate a lot of people. Their breakfast menu varies from cereal, boiled, scrambled and omelet eggs, toast, bagels, muffins, yogurt and a pancake maker, coffee and hot chocolate station. They also have a pool out the back with actually warm water so night swimming was enjoyable. They have a basic fitness center next to the reception area. Morning staff are friendly and even the cleaners are awesome! They move fast and efficient. Ms. Mariella the night manager is awesome and very friendly… They also have a laundry room up on the 3rd floor next to the elevator, $1 per wash and $1 per dryer. Overall the stay was very satisfactory I will definitely come back here if I'm in this area again.

I apparently have high standards. If you like the subtle aroma of mildew and stale cigarettes this is your place. Added features include eating "breakfast" on styrofoam (?! ) and the constant symphony of slamming doors and loud music from neighborhood. If you are a young family on your first vacation with the kiddos this may work for you (the pool on the edge of the busiest intersection in the Cape looked nice. ) If you are traveling for work I would ask HR for other accommodations.

Overall, I had a great experience here. The breakfast is fresh and tasty, the pool is warm and big, and the rooms were very clean and included free coffee. The only thing I didnt like about it was the rooms were quite old fashon. If you are looking for something modern, you will not get it here. Also, if you are with your family, buy 2 rooms next to each other as they are quite small.

Very clean. Nice pool. Close enough to major beaches. Less than half the price compared to stay on beach. Staff is extremely nice and helpful! Nice relaxing stay! Chino at the front desk was awesome!

Our two-day stay was great. Clean big rooms. USB chargers on both night stands and the pool was clean and warm.

We needed a room quickly, and we were able to get one at this hotel. The heated swimming pool was really nice, and breakfast choices were pretty good overall. We did drop something under the bed, and when we looked under we found a moldy piece of pizza which was pretty gross. Overall: Activities✅ Food selection✅ Availability✅ Cleaning❌

The staff was what got this to three stars and not lower. Rooms are ok but the street noise is really loud. Staff very friendly and courteous.

Nice location close to Sanibel bit less money than many other options in the vacinity. Could stand to be remodeled inside. Water in shower had a strange smell.

Wasn't cheap, but really nice! Wasn't lacking for anything. The staff was great and breakfast was offered every morning. Cooked fresh and served hot! Housekeeping was wonderful. Breakfast lady was wonderful and super friendly. The room was so very comfortable, stylish, and full of accomodations! Really enjoyed my stay there!

It is very expensive and for the price the breakfast needs to improve. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I walked in to asked for an early check in and stood for about 5 minutes while the 3 employees at the concierge desk talked about their weekend without acknowledging me or anyone else standing in line. The hotel is outdated, and the staff is unfriendly. This was a huge disappointment as we love staying at Holiday Inn Express, and have never had such poor service.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Holiday Inn in Cape Coral. Service was excellent. The only complaint I have is about the noise but the hotel is located on the corner of a very busy intersection so I know they can't do anything about it. Overall great experience!

Clean. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Water in the rooms for coffee is yucky but I went downstairs where they always have coffee made with filtered water. Tea and cocoa at the coffee station too. The pool is Fabulous too with towels at the ready!

Excellent service since you enter the front desk, then the breakfast and housekeeping always with a beautiful smile. I liked the hotel very much. I would definitely visit it again and would recommend it.

Location was good for us, southern side of Cape Coral close to marinas and such. Service was very nice and friendly. Rooms were not nearly as nice or newly redesigned as other HIE I have stayed at. Didn't seem like the same thing that I expected, but was clean.

Good location for shopping and eat. But need to upgrade room. Walk into the room small so bad. I have turned AC down to sleep.

Stayed two nights with hubby and son. I personally know the exterminator who services this location, so we picked it because we KNEW they were bed bug free! Very clean rooms, pleasantly surprised by awesome free breakfast bar and the coffee was AWESOME! No bed bugs, great coffee, sparkling pool with a tiki hut around it, clean rooms… a bit expensive, but no bugs. It's worth it. They take pets too! Nicely treated by staff as well. Great stay, highly recommend.

The worse hotel that I have ever stayed in! Rude service! Horrible rooms! My a/c stopped working abd the sheets were washed that you can see thru the mattress! This room it’s definitely not worth the 150 bucks I paid! Even though I am a member of Holiday inn I am very disappointed and very upset.

Good rooms. Minor damage to bathroom poor molding and construction things falling apart. Shower head has hard water on head and not as clean as a normal holiday inn. I gave 4 because it’s a good place to stay. Just low quality for a holiday inns staff was very talkative and could have helped customers faster being there was a line. Coffee ain’t great either.

This location is a little difficult to access coming from Fort Myers but other than that it's a nice hotel for the price. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is close to downtown.

Great staff. There were problems with our room, but the front desk addressed and corrected the issues. Stayed 5 nights while our house was being restored.

No cable Bathroom is very unclean"pictures will show" Bathroom towel and brown streak in it"very unsat" Internet goes in and out all the time.

Visited with my mother on September 29th. Frank at the front desk was short-tempered, rude to the point that my mom felt uncomfortable, and was accusatory when he could not immediately bring up our reservation. The next morning when I attempted to speak with the manager she defended his actions. The hotel was nice in appearance, but I have never dealt with such disrespect from customer service. Holiday Inn, you should ashamed of your hiring choices at this location.

Very friendly and accommodating. This hasn't been a easy time for the management or staff personally or professionally due to Hurricane Irma and as a preplanned vacation weekend I couldn't reschedule. Super accommodating, friendly, helpful, and gracious. Witnessed some horribly frustrated customers that they listened to and and let vent and empathized with and made the best arrangements possible for the customer. This place is awesome.

The room space was mediocre and was very clean. However one of the beds is right up against the air conditioner so you're either sweating or getting blown away by the air conditioner. Loved the balcony and its size was sufficient. Was satisfied with the breakfast. It was a little better than most free breakfast you got at other hotels. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating overall it was a great stay.

Very friendly staff, and clean rooms. Most of the electrical outlets in my room were no good though. I found two that were good enough to use. That's not very good for having 9 open outlets in the room.

The interior is due for a complete remodel in the near future, but it has been maintained much better than many other hotels I have stayed at. It is clean, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The location is fairly central to most everything in the area, with some excellent resteraunts very near by. It's little more than 20 minutes driving to Sanabel island as well as Fort Myers beach, making it a great choice if you want to stay in a hotel that has access, but is not in the middle of the traffic. The only significant problem was the street noise. If you have small fussy children, or have problems sleeping with that sort of thing, request a room on the opposite side of the building from the main road. Otherwise, this was a great choice for our family vacation!

Clean, friendly place. Close to a bit of night life. Monkey Bar, The Dek, Backstreet and Coconuts isn't to far. Good food.

It's ok for one night stay. The room is not quiet since it's close to the street. AC is loud.

Clean, good location friendly staff looks like there might have been a pool bar at one time. Pool open till 8pm. Would have liked if it were open a bit later. Breakfast is decent enough but there are plenty of options nearby.

We stayed for a night and our stay was comfortable. Room was clean and well made. The breakfast was very tasty and served hot. Can never go wrong with bacon.

Full breakfast is nice and they did a good job of keeping it stocked even when busy. The pool is pleasant and wasn't crowded.

The stay has been very good. The room was nice, bud it would have been nice to have more towels in the room. Also, there were no towels by the pool.

If it wasn't for the fact that I got the room at a discount, I would never have paid 150 + a night for this kind of room. Other than that, it was okay for a Holiday Inn Express. The service at breakfast was pretty good.

Nice clean room, decent housekeeping, the balcony is a huge plus. In room Wi-Fi is garbage, if you need to do business online you'd best head to the nearest Starbucks about 5 miles away. Guest laundry was great. No room service. Local food was awful. Staff were polite. Parking was ample.

Very pleasant staff member Yahaira at the front desk most resourceful and helpful with all request at the front. She was able to go out of her way to handle even the special request we had and made not only me but my family feel comfortable and happy. She definitely makes us feel that we got the best value and experience at this location!
