2300 state road 16, St Augustine, FL. The check in progress was horrible. I was greeted by an very rude man, who made it seem like I was bothering him to check in. The rooms are very dirty and poorly maintained. The mattress had a big hole in it. The room was supposed to have 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa but the sofa was missing from the room. There was hair all over the bathroom walls. There were roaches in the rooms. The breakfast looks like it had been sitting there a week including the rotten apples. Pool was nasty. ⁷This is something you woukd expect from a cheap motel not a very high priced hotel. I will NEVER stay at another Holiday Inn or IHG property.

Dirty room, unapologetic staff. Will never stay again. Fairly certain blood stained mattress, called front desk “theres nothing we can do”. Some sort of spilled drink that’s obviously never been cleaned on the carpet. Mirrors look like they were wiped down with cooking oil.

Awesome staff. Very attentive and excellent communication. We shall be back soon.

Room wasn’t properly prepared. Beds half made, carpet not properly vacuum, areas no well wipe… I’m a housekeeper manager at one of Disney Resorts and my expectations were different. Room need to be visible attractive specially on check in day. My room door was open when we just enter, looks like housekeeper forgot to close after finishing cleaning room.

Room is big enough for all six of us, it in a great location to get to all the tourist stuff to do, it’s close to I-95. Rooms are clean and well kept, and I love that they use and have Watkins products in the bathroom. They also have laundry facilities.

Don't stay here. My nephew and his beautiful bride went here for a getaway and the place has bed bugs! Stay away!

Nice hotel. Convenient to eating and shopping, as they open back up.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and I’ve always enjoyed my stay. The rooms are clean, nice breakfast, wonderful friendly staff which tells you the management takes pride in this hotel.

Recommend Staying I was in St. Augustine, Florida for 5 days of vacation plus the hurricane hitting my City of Wilmington, N. C. It is my choice of staying there (95 & SR 16) in seeing the city. They went out of there way to take care of us and people and made us feel like home. It was clean, quitet and perfect location. I give it a 5 Star Rating. My tanks to them and the staff.

Stayed here for a month while working in St. Augustine and the surrounding areas. Good front desk staff helpful on recommending food and activities in the area and uber helpful on needing anything within the hotel, awesome manager, decent breakfast and the only indoor pool in St. Augustine! Brought my son there for a long weekend and he loved it. Only about 15 mins from downtown and seconds to the outlets and I-95.

Me. Genie has wonderful customer service and extremely personable, the maids are so polite and very kind. Love the room Love The View definitely coming back!

We stayed 3 nights here on vacation. It was an awesome stay. It was conveniently located right off of I-95 and was only a short drive to downtown St. Augustine and the beach. The room was spacious with nice amenities. Very clean. The continental breakfast was absolutely great with several different good options. Our favorites were the biscuit w/ gravy, the pancakes, and the cinnabon cinnamon roll. Would definitely stay here again.

This was just a pit stop for me. I only stood one night. Checked in late, showered, slept. Woke up real early the next morning, had breakfast and left. Couldn't really tell you anything about the place. Breakfast was pretty good tho! Way better than I expected!

Hotel was pretty good overall. We arrived at 5pm. Room still was not ready. Staff blamed they were completely booked from the night before. Not buying the excuses they were selling. Check in is at 3pm. My room should be ready at 3pm. Not so mad at myself for having our GPS getting us lost now, lol. Anyway, room was spotless. Room amenities were excellent. Bath and Body Works toiletries. A Keurig for my coffee loving family. And enough pillows for an army! We didn’t make it to the pool but did have the free breakfast. Lots of choices, fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, bagels, cinnamon rolls. Hot choices were eggs, sausage (patties and links), sausage and gravy, biscuits and pancakes. The pancake making machine is so cool! My 6 year old loved it. Also coffee, orange juice, apple juice and milk. Overall our experience was great. It was my first time to St. Augustine and we were celebrating our 6 year old turning 7! We would prefer to be closer to town next time but if the price is right, we will be back here!

Location is roughly 10-15 minutes from Historic Downtown St. Augustine. Rooms are slightly larger than average and fairly clean. Free breakfast is good. Staff is friendly and helpful. The pool and gym look inviting though we didn't get a chance to use them.

This location came in handy for us for a last minute change on our trip to St. Augustine. Planned on visiting St. Augustine and it turned out the forecast for the whole long weekend was 80-100% rain. Looking to change to a hotel with an indoor pool so the kids could still have water fun. This was almost the only hotel with an indoor pool based on my hotel site searches. They were able to accommodate for early check in and late check out. The room, facility, pool area, and breakfast area are all well kept. Breakfast food is really good and I would say slightly better than the average hotel breakfast. When going through St. Augustine again I would definitely stay here again.

Attended a work event in the conference room. It was clean and they did a nice job with set up. Only problem is parking is a little tight.

The hotel is nice enough but it is a little older and dated. The staff were wonderful. And we enjoyed ourselves here. We would come back to this hotel.

Two previous nights were at Holiday Inn. We were disappointed with this visit The first thing, toilet didn't flush. The bathroom may need updating. Shower water was warm, only. The vent seemed to only make noise. There was a lot of road noise (beyond your area). I plugged phone in to charge. The outlet was loose. Phone did not charge. Room next door had the television on all night.

This hotel was fantastic from the comfortable spacious rooms to the great breakfast. The beds were QUEENS finally a hotel that has queen beds and not full size is reall hard to find these days. Great helpful size we will def be back!

Visited St. Augustine again and again stayed at this Holiday Inn yet again it was a pleasurable stay, we really enjoy and love this place. This hotel is 4-5 miles away from the historic district and to the west about 1/2 miles to outlets. Family friendly, kids will love the indoor pool, great for those cold days in this area. Rooms are super clean, service is great and they go out of your way to make sure your stay is the best. Mikky at the front desk was great and even called us after we were in our room to make sure everything was to our liking. The free breakfast never disappoints, fresh items are available and the staff makes sure that the area stays stocked, organize and clean. Great friendly staff that is always there to answer questions about the items or just need some help. We highly highly recommend this hotel. Take it from someone who stays at hotels quite a bit for business and family vacations with 4 kids. Great location!

The hotel is very clean. The food is above average. I have it only 2 stars because the Wi-Fi is so slow that I couldn't even check my email on my laptop!

Very friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast.

Great place to stay. Their beds are really comfortable and I slept really good here. The breakfast is good as well. There are fresh pancakes, scrambled eggs, omelets, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, toast, sausage, grits and cereal. The staff is helpful and really nice.

I spent a night in this hotel hard to make an opinion.

My wife, my 6 year old son, my 8 month old daughter and I stayed here for a weekend while we attended a festival nearby. I have stayed at many different hotels while traveling for work and used points for the stay. The staff members were all polite and efficient. We were assigned a room on the 4th floor and found it to be quite comfortable. It seemed that the hotel was either recently built (within the last couple of years or so) or recently renovated. The pool and fitness room were small but we'll kept and clean. The breakfast nook was also kept clean and the staff worked hard to keep the food items stocked and fresh. Well as fresh as can be with the mostly pre-made variety that has become the cost effective staple for many hotels. Really, the only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is because I only rate 5 for hotels that are way above and beyond my expectations, and that would include a greater variety of fresh fruits, veggies, and more health conscious amenities. I would recommend this hotel highly, based on the staff and cleanliness!

I stayed on the fourth floor and the walls appeared to be somewhat thin. I could feel the wall shake when the room nearby closed their door. Although, they had a complimentary breakfast which was nice.

We had to evacuate for hurricane irma. Your employees were the best I have ever experienced! Kind, courteous and all around great people. You should consider yourself lucky to have them working for you! Sincerely Cheryle Lynn Sims.

My son's go to the deaf school there inSt. Augustine. And tbis hotel is where we have always stayed… for the last 2 yrs! I love this place! It's just far enough out of the downtown area, that you are not stuck in tourists traffic! But close enough for to the school! This hotel grounds, rooms have always been clean! The bed sheets smelled clean… most other places don't! Their breakfast buffet selection… is awesome! One time, not too long ago… I made reservations thru a 3rd party (& didn't know… so to speak… that it's not always communicated to the actual hotel), however… I did not have reservations… accordi g to the hotel. When I walked in to check-in… I no room for me! But they made it work for me, bcuz I showed them my receipt. They were so nice… bcuz I could have been screwed! 10 stars for the staff, the hotel-itself, being clean, beds are comfortable, and breakfast is great! The only thi g I have nvr done, is the pool. But, I will always be back!

It's a wonderful hotel. The rooms are nice. Everything is very clean. Excellent breakfast buffet included. Nice eating area. Very nice overall.

This is probably the best Holiday Inn we've stayed at. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. But the staff was the best highlight of our stay. They went out of our way to make our stay remarkable. One staff member even helped us out with information about St. Augustine. The price was a real bargain, considering all of the amenities that were included. They had a nice big indoor pool, though I didn't get the chance to try it out. The fitness room was great and the breakfast was even better than some restaurants. Without question, I would stay here again on our next visit!

Generally you can't go wrong with a Holiday Inn express, and this one is no different. Fair price, great service, clean rooms, modern aesthetic, new tvs, free breakfast. No worries here.

I've been to a few Holiday Inn Express hotels and this one seems pretty nice. Everything seems to be updated. Has a nice 40" lcd TV in the room. Had a minor issue checking in, but it was resolved quickly. Everything had been clean and working. The breakfast is typical Holiday Inn Express, decent choices and good for a free breakfast. I'd stay here again.

Right off the interstate, this is an easy place to get to and also makes the surrounding area of St. Augustine very accessible. It was clean and very well kept. That being said, they had a large group of family having their reunion there… literally 30 people… maybe more. These folks used the hotel like their private resort. You could not use the pool, could not get breakfast because the entire area was taken as the entire group sat in the room for the entire time… essentially using public spaces for their private function. The managment should have made an effort to disuade that behavior as that disrespectful behavior impacted all the other guests. Its not a venue designed nor intended to host multi-day events like that.

A nice, quiet place. Free typical but good breakfast. Historic downtown is ten minutes away and it is worth it as this is fairly new, clean and just better unless u want to be within walking distance, but that is not worth the money to me. I would stay again and drive downtown. Good beds.

We spent one night in Holiday Inn Express I'm Saint Aug during our roadtrip through Florida. I must say that if I hadn't spent so many days in other more pleasant hotels I would've given Holiday Inn a significantly better rating. But I've spent my nights in Best Western in Miami and Hamptons Inn in both Titusville and in Jacksonville and they gave me a better feel. It was more fresh so to speak. But this doesn't mean that Holiday Inn was bad, not at all. I loved the place. The breakfast, the gym equipment, the beds, and even the cute little brochure that layed by our beds with tips and tricks on how to sleep better at night. The gym had awesome equipment and even a strange machine which vibrated your whole body and worked it out that way. It was only 10 minutes from the Old town so the location was great. One thing I would like to change was that the pool only was inside. The weather was amazing when we were there and I miss taking those laps in the swimming pool in the morning sun. Other than that I was so pleased! 4/5 stars ✨

This is a standard HIE location, all the amenities one would expect, nothing in particular stands above another. The Wi-Fi was one of the slowest I have been around which was difficult. Everything else was ok.

The hotel layout is nice. They have a nice breakfast selection, a gym and indoor pool. Right off 95 and only a 15 minute drive to tourist areas of St Augustine.

I have not personally stayed here, but we have many clients that come to Saint Augustine to visit our co office monthly, and most of them stay at this hotel. We were able to set up a corporate rate with Mohamed (the general manager) and our clients love the price, hotel, and location. I cannot say enough how helpful Mohamed has been to us. He is always there to assist me with whatever I need. He returns my calls promptly, and is very accommodating. He truly goes above and beyond, which unfortunately, is not common in this day and age in the service/hospitality industry. So a big thank you Mohamed (gen. Manager) at the Holiday Inn Express on state road 16 in St. Augustine, FL, YOU ROCK!

The staff was friendly, the breakfast area was very clean, and staff was on the ball keeping hot dishes full. Though a step above most continental bfast, with hot dishes. If youre looking for something a bit more hardly, I suggest Cracker Barrel or Metro Diner. Room was clean apart from the used water bottle that was behind nightstand, the bed was soooooo comfortable it was like being at home! Def will stay here again…

I give it 4-stars just because I save the 5th star for exception places. This was a nice clean, quiet hotel with a friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast was better than average. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
