Friendly staff, great service, very clean room and bathroom. Great price.

For the price and local its nice. Walkable to downtown. Right next to a convienence store and nice Italian resturant with good food. Staff is friendly and helpful. Its an old hotel so its not fancy but it has super clean and nice smelling sheets and towels. Tv, coffee maker and fridge included too.

It's not a five star but it's a great little inn in the heart of the historic st. Augustine Great customer service. Clean room.

Stayed here with my family this weekend. The manager was a complete disrespectful piece of garbage. Disrespectful to my kids and wife. Absolutely worst place I have ever been. If you are thinking of staying here do not. This guy will ruin your trip I guarntee it.

The place is run down and old. You're not paying for the amenities but the location. You can walk to the historic area which saves you from fighting traffic and trying to find a place to park. The front desk guy was very very nice. There are better options in the same price range in the same area.

Little outdated as in decore. But it was quiet, clean, the attendant in the office was super nice and helpful. Over all it's not a bad place to stay within walking distance of the old City and lots of cool little shops right next door. Would stay here again.

Lower the Bar This is an old hotel in the heart of St Augustine. It could use to be updated, but for the price in the heart of the city you won't do much better. I like that I can stay PARK FOR FREE and walk the city. The staff is super ACCOMMODATING.

Owner/Manager was rude and wanted to charge us more for having a third person in a 2 bed room. Also, clerk asked us to turn the lights and AC unit off upon checkout. That is not the guest's responsibility. Also, the rooms are extremely outdated. Will not be returning.

This place is the worse hotal Iv been too! Bedroom mattress has drag marks on the sides and wholes. Rooms smell old and phone doesn't work. When I asked for a Extra blanket the guy at the desk said No his neck hurt to much tonight. I checked for "bed bugs" just how ran down it is. Lucky there wasn't … Get what you pay for I guess… :-/

Most rude and disrespectful place ever called. My mother called asking for prices ended up being cursed at after saying no thank you. Bunch of cowards run the place, as soon as I called to confront the man he acted like nothing happened and hanged up the phone. Do everyone a favor and bring your business to another establishment.

Don't even bother calling this rude place. You can't even call to reserve rooms without being yelled at. Take your money somewhere else. the owners needs to learn some manners.

The rudest manager I've ever dealt with. Other than that it's not the worst motel to spend a night or two. Outdated, but good size room. Within walking distance of Castillo de San Marcos, Visitor Information Center, & St. Georges Street.

Sam, the apparent owner, is extremely rude. Charged me $600 more than he was suppose to, didn't know how to fix it. Asked for a blanket, basically told me I was crazy because it's summer time. Later scolded me because he assumed two men came out of my room when they actually came from another room, just happened to walk down the same time my girlfriend and I did. He questioned me several times on who the guys were and why they were in my room until I told him I was gay and wouldn't have two unknown men in my room in the first place. The next day at check out asked me if I turned the lights and AC off, he's seem to be forgetting he's running a hotel. As far as the room goes, the bed and pillows are hard as a rock, the decor is very old. Only plus is the location-close to everything and walkable.

Recent visit to this hotel was horrid. When 2 friends came to visit, the phone rang no later than 30 seconds after they walked into our room, the front desk was inquiring about how long our guests were going to be staying, who they were, etc. CREEPY! If you value your privacy, or want professional NON STALKING courtesy, RUN LIKE HELL FROM THIS DUMP!

Accidentally booked this hotel thinking it was Comfort Suites close to downtown. It is about 3 blocks further, but close enough to walk. Rude Owner at check-in that was not hospitable. His assistant helped and was nice, but the owner was very unhelpful. Room was very old school and the bathroom wasn't clean. We upgraded from 1 bed to 2 so a friend who as visiting for the day could stay if our event lasted too late. We paid $20 extra then at checkout the owner tried to charge us another $20 for our guest. We already paid extra and its not like anything else was included. No extra towels, etc. You even have to pay for the ice machine. May would have stayed here again if had a good experience, but probably not because it's didn't suit my desired comfort level for the price. Would not recommend staying here.

Typical motel without too many pretenses. No Breakfast, good Wi-Fi network.

CLEAN old school hotel, GREAT location, friendly staff, Google pic does not do hotel justice, walking distance to anywhere in downtown St. Augustine. Short cab ride to amphitheater.
