Knights Inn - Plant City Hotel

I had to get a room there because our windows in house being replaced. Thank God only one night. Rooms filthy, furniture falling apart. Carpet was disgusting, pillows were worn out… lumpy balls of cotton for pillows. A dirty towel on floor in bathroom from previous guests. Horrible experience. Someone needs to take it over and give it a complete overhaul.

Da ac was out all night da hottest $80 I ever spont.

I do not recommend this hotel to anybody. Never in my life have I been harassed more by employees of the hotel, But the rooms are not to satisfactory either. They still feel dirty from the last guest and not only that there were roaches. Not something I want to bring back home with me. They offer a breakfast in the morning but who would want to eat it knowing there are roaches around I had coupons for lower rates as well which I were I had coupons for lower rates as well which I was not allowed to use for some unexplainable reason. This place should be shut down.

When I stayed there it was $40-$45 a night. I never deal with staying the first floor of any motel/hotel if they've got multiple levels just because of roach problems that seem to come with it majority of the time. When I stayed there I had no bug problem, but I was up on one of the higher floors. The was a door issue I was having, but besides that I didn't have any problems. The place is run down a good bit and could do with remodeling. I've stayed at far worse motel/hotel. Considering the location of the I was expecting worse. Seemed like it had been 20 years since they did any remodeling from the outside but my room looked normal. I didn't have any problem other than the door would only open up a certain way than normal.

Such a shame that this hotel has been neglected past the point of repair. I absolutely luv the ambience of this hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. The design of the property is 1 that I also find far better than acceptable. The rooms however we quickly vacated after I got n 2 shoving match with a giant (man eating) cock roach over the steak I had prepared in the park/picnic/grilling station in the courtyard. We left almost all our belongings only taking that which cannot b replaced 4 fear of dragging their bug problem back home with ourselves. But if you don't mind fighting bugs for next meal then this is definitely the place 4 you…

Okay place for the money… Could use some updates but can't complain too much. Nice pool and clean.

Terrible experience, we got there trying to enjoy our day because my husband and I both work night shift so we just wanted to enjoy our day at the hotel since we are waiting for our home to be ready as my husband was looking for an outlet to charge his phone he found a CONDOM! Yes a CONDOM & IT WAS USED… disgusting. It was found behind one of the night stands! The shower was also broken so trying to control the hot & cold water was hard the aroma of marijuana was just everywhere near our room. We were offered a new room which we took because we were extremely tired and had to go to work within the next 3 hours. The front desk lady was busy with another guest when I came back to pick up my key for our new room she just shrugged her head saying I feel so embarrassed and slid the new key to me. This Inn just seems to be a place where lots of people choose to live which leads to it looking completely trashy!

The front desk tried to overcharge upon check-in, I found drug paraphernalia in the night stand, most of the guests seemed to be (or were openly) on meth, and the police spent a solid 12 hours on the premise on what I can only assume was a drug bust during my stay. At least there were no bedbugs.

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and flukes.

Cheap rates friendly staff. The accommodations are more than sufficient for the price paid. Rooms are a little dated but overall would recommend to anyone seeking shelter at a competitive price.

Room was cheap, but super run down. I just needed a place to crash though. On the bright side, the breakfast had a waffle maker, which made up for a lot.

The best thing about this place was the fact we were able to get our money back for not wanting to stay here. Worst place I've ever been too. Very dirty rooms, smoking in all areas, we wanted a non smoking room but it smelled like smoke, HORRIBLE. Not clean at all.

I went to this location and found the office to be very nice, from the outside it looked decent, booked the room and went inside and it was the worst room I have every stayed in. I would have been there with my kids and there was no way I was staying… walked in, tried to give it a chance, looked around but the carpets is stained and dirty, the light fixtures broken… had a bad smell, no phone, and the blankets looked like they have never been washed, not to mention the walls were covered in the popcorn like material that goes on ceilings! Completely disgusted… I was there less than 5 mins and requested a refund, there was no way I could stay there… the staff knows how terrible it is because I requested the refund and they didn’t even say anything, just gave it to me. Never in my life would I recommend this place.

Very bad stay "KEEP DRIVING", fiancee sliced his angle open from metal bed frame sticking out … well … and I mean blood poured out of a inch long cut, toilet nearly put him on the foot like not attached to the floor… and a. C. Not an a. C. Let's day fan Sad but breakfast greeter actually has had this job for I know since 2014/15 remember her when still the Days Inn… to me hates her job and greets whomever, whenever… well you know what very bad for your business b/c she just puts as they say "put the icing on the cake "Yea, I'm from Plant City, but the Days Inn put just a bit more thought into the rooms… and this place should not be giving a guest a key if not complete with construction… or remodel from old to new… RIGHT! It sadden to me b/c it's my roots… Plant City Florida & would have recommend somewhere just outside of Plant City. For myself ratings and reviews are very much important and something to be proud of… think of it like winning a trophy.

Filthy bathroom. Looks like it haven't been clean in years, mold & mildew everywhere in the tub, bath tiles were disgusting. The room was nasty, filthy, disgusting! Window curtains with duck tape to hold it in place. Wakala! We just left the place, I couldn't let my kids sleep in a room like that. They need to pay more attention to the cleaning in that place and should spend money and time to deep clean the rooms and specially the bathroom. Rooms needs updating.

Exceptional service the lady at the front desk did everything possible to get us a room down to even getting our cell numbers in case there was last minute cancellations.

Found 1 roach on wall. Door isn't properly sealed. As you can hear people talking outside clearly.

Well it's definitely a different kind of atmosphere definitely needs to be modernized and upgraded if Hayden inside and outside.

This ant and roach infested place is not worth your money or time. I had to stay here on an emergency basis and next time I will sleep in my car. The staff in the office (Crystal and Brandy) seem nice. But Crystal got the amount of days that Ibwould be staying here wrong. The short maintenance guy threatened to kill my dog. And the rooms are disgusting. The bathroom smells like pee and there was poop on the toilet lid. The toilet bowl itself is brown from I don't what. If you are one that follows reviews then you will not stay here at all. Not even in an emergency. You all have been warned. Oh! And watch out for all the Meth Heads!

Stayed here right after hurricane Irma. The ladies at the front desk had their hands full but they did a great job. Very friendly with me and informative on places and things in the area that I needed to visit. Rooms were just as I thought clean with no bugs and I stayed a couple nights in different rooms. Will definitely go back again and being right off of the highway was a bonus.

Older hotel. Comfortable but in need of upgrades. Pool good. Breakfast bad. Relatively quite and adequate parking. Hot shower. Cold air.

There are cockroaches. Smells like cigar rooms and fleas.

Was traveling on my motorcycle, it was getting dark and I needed a safe and affordable place to crash for the night. Called the motel, front desk guy seemed nice, decent price. Ride up there to pay and check in, before I even get off my bike there was some thug running my way, luckily he had other interests. Get off my bike and walk to the front window, the clerk was in another room and didn't notice me yet, luckily. I look back and I see two young fellas walking in with an old stanky hooker. At that point, I get back on the bike fire up turn around and leave taking one last glance at the rooms. Bunch of people loitering around. Not a safe place, at least on the weekends, prostitution, drugs and thugs. The other motels in the neighborhood seemed similar, would steer clear of that place. Rode out 30 miles in the middle of the night and found a safer place.

Me and my husband wanted to be close to go skydiving… so we found this Inn. We were given room number 246… all even lucky right… WRONG! We entered and realized the curtain was hanging down… plug in lights not working or light switch. A/C cold button gone. A/C did not work. I was scared to sit down because of the filth… so I sat on the chair and on the floor under the desk was a sticky mouse trap with one foot of the mouse attached. The 2 towels we had were used. DIRTY! We checked in and out in 15 minutes.

Im happy with my stay I had a problem with my first room I was moved to a new one and I didnt have any problems after that.

There is too much mosquitos in washroom and room and air-condition not working propyl bad looking rooms.

Rooms are just ok. Staff are friendly. Good prices.

This is the worse ever! For 95$? The AC doesn't work, everything is dirty, the smell… OMG!

My girlfriend and I have had to stay at a lot of motels and this one is not as bad as many of the reviews, it isn't the nicest place to stay but it's cheap and affordable and is surprisingly nicer then you would expect. Plus the staff that we dealt with were very polite and courteous.

I've stayed at many places around the country and this place is by far the worst. Not only is the neighborhood is unsafe, but I caught someone attempting to break in my car. Next thing, our room was filthy and cockroach/bed bug infested. The front desk associate said there was nothing that could be done and no refunds could be issued. I was speaking with a couple outside who were staying on the third floor and they had complained that their room had not only rat feces on the floor, but also found a rat hiding in their room. They were allowed to change rooms but again, no refunds allowed. Definitely not worth the money staying here!

Dirty dirty dirty. Bed was comfy. Everything was dirty.

My husband and I stay in motels about 40 to 50 times a year and have been for years… this was the worst one we've stepped foot in. First they gave us a nasty two double bed when we said king 3 times. Then we got another room which was king … and when we walked in. It looked like someone had layed on the bed and really sloppy bed making. There was roaches in the room and bathroom was dirty. Then the worst… we pulled cover back and there was cum stain on it and you could see where someone had been in that bed. Then we went to get our money back. Which we had paid for two nights and she tried to keep one nights rent when we weren't on either room for 5 minutes. Most horrible experience ever at 12:00 at night when we were so tired. Please don't stay here… it's so nasty.

It was ok kind of old but everything was clean at least. Our shower was broken too. The location is great though.

I stayed on 11/26/15 and was appalled will never stay there again the lobby was clean but there was roaches in the room! They really need to remedy the situation the bed was some what comfortable and staff friendly but that was it will never stay again!

Its good for the price they in the middle of a remobile so I think they should do weekly specials since the place isnt the best looking rite now plugged in phone charger in a room and it startrd smoking almost cafht.

This place has everything wrong imaginable. From cockroaches to power outings to bed bugs. Oh and they won't give u a refund even if u have a picture of bed bugs crawling. Disgusting place should be shut down.

Holy shit! Ever wonder what a hotel that hookers rent by the hour looks like? Stop on in for a stay. I brought my 9mm in with me, it's that damn awesome. No baseboards, mildew smell… I hope it was mildew, roaches, toilet ran all night, air unit was struggling to stay as cool as hot breath… but hey, $55 bucks a night.

This hotel is nasty! My husband and I found a Crack pipe in our room! The ac was broken and there was no power to the room! DO NOT STAY HERE!

This knights inn is the worst place to stay. The rooms are horrible, bugs, smells like smoke in a non smoking room, blood on the bed spread, stains on the sheets, black mold everywhere, shower tub was brown. I could go on about this motel. Do your self a favor by pass this one.

If you're looking for the perfect place to make your meth and sleep with the aids, this is the place. Isn't my cup of tea, but I'm sure it's heaven to somebody. :)

Where do I start?! "Run down and outdated" hardly describes this place. The toilet looked like an over used gas station toilet, the mirrors were smeared, there was hair all over the sink, a broken chain lock and questionable spots on the carpet. Needless to say, it's better to bite the bullet and pay a little extra for Best Western or Motel 6. I'm honestly curious who's idea of clean this is!? We only stayed here because it's pet friendly and we are on a tight budget. Never again.

It really sucks to pay $70 for a room and watch your kittens have the time of there lives chasing roaches. The staff was rude well the two bigger "lady's" anyway, guy's we're ok but seemed over it. I wanted to go to a new place but couldn't get my money back and then put on a (do not rent) list. For asking! As if I'd go back to a place that made me sick. Then when I'm about to check out at 9am someone walks in. Another guest! And that's not even the worse. Do yourself a giant favor and go to the BEST western. I did and its worth it. Hope this helps, but u could always see for yourself too. Just don't forget to pick up something for permanent pink eye! U have been warned ppl.

Very poorly maintained. Pet friendly — they even stock the rooms with cockroaches in case you forget to bring your own. Old tube TV is, well, old. They got wireless internet — well, they got wireless routers not connected to the internet.

Ohh. This time it was far better than the last year. Seems like its a new management, but rooms were clean and nice, pool looked decent and friendly staff too. Would come again.
