The location was great but the hotel is very run down, dirty, and smells moldy. I won't be returning.

I’d give this place 2 out of 5 stars. Excellent location. Nice staff. Reasonable price. Clean. Except that the whole place is super dingy…the plumbing in our shower was super outdated and poor water pressure. The bed wasn’t great, but not awful. The TV had basic cable and very few channels. The toilet was set on an awkward angle towards the shower, and was super tight to squeeze in there between a weird little window and the shower, especially for my sturdy husband. The floor was uneven in many places and felt like the whole place was going to collapse more often than not. Our ceiling had obvious water damage, trim on the floor was missing, the ikea laminate furniture was showing quite a bit of wear and moisture damage…it really could have been so much better, but was just very…. Lacking. There was also this wonderful bit of technology — a mini-split AC, with poor drainage, just multiple tubes poorly connected, and draining into what I believe is a water fountain? This was what you see right when you exit the elevator to the 5th floor where our room was. So much of the hotel is brightly painted and weird fabric overlays…. You just gotta wonder what kind of damage this place is hiding. My husband woke up super congested as well. It’s unfortunate, cause there is so much potential but it needs a serious redo from literally floor to ceiling…

Had a great time in St. Pete. If you are searching for a fun adventure in this area, then I highly recommend this hotel. Super cozy and great location! You can walk everywhere.

Unfortunately I have to give this hotel a one star rating for the negative experience I had over the past holiday weekend. I stayed in a room with bed bugs that left me and my guest with incredibly itchy, red spots all over our arms and legs despite housekeeping changing the sheets. It was beyond an uncomfortable experience during the night time when sleeping in the bed. And it was to the point where I left early after the second night. All of our clothes, backpacks, and suitcases had to be sanitized immediately upon my return home to avoid bringing these vermin into my house! The worst part of this experience was the lack of professionalism on behalf of hotel management to rectify the situation. Due to failure to complain immediately, when it fact it was brought to their attention that something was causing our discomfort after the first night, the representative dismissed our claims and stated there will be no compensation. *As the pictures below show, I have visible bite marks all over my body. In addition here is an example of a bug that was found beneath the sheets in the bed upon arrival. This is a huge health safety concern and guests should not be subjected to bed bugs or poor sanitation during the age of COVID 19! I will not be staying here again and recommend anyone else from doing so as well!

Location is awesome… and that's it! Room is old, small queen size bed, and the worst of all is the acoustic of the room, you can hear EVERYTHING, from people talking, slamming doors and even the elevator! Since it's located close to the night life, all the noise in the hallway does NOT TO at least until 3 to 4am! So unless you don't expect to sleep, I do not recommend this place!

There was no place to park your car, only parking garage, the beds were very old and used, our television had no signal, called the desk, they said they would be up to check it, they never showed up! Don’t stay there, never again💩

Nice boutique hotel. It’s not the Ritz but it’s not a roadside motel either. It’s happily in between. Great location and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Others have complained about parking, but overnight parking in the Sundial garage a block away was inexpensive and convenient. Wonderful little get away hotel!

The ponce De Leon Hotel is a wonderful landmark in St. Petersburg. It's located downtown near the marine. The room are clean and the two double beds were comfortable.
Both ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. I will be staying there again.

I stayed for 2 hours and I had an emergency where I had to leave. I asked for a refund the next day when the manager came in. She said she would only charge me 49, but when I said that I used the shower she couldn’t help me. Pretty crappy experience and for 95 dollars the rooms aren’t nice. I might have used this place again had they given me a little Grace, but unfortunately that’s not the type of business your dealing with.

This hotel is terrible. The history of it is cool but that's the extent of it. I reserved a double bed, got a single queen. The shower was super old and dated with mild spots. Never again!

The air conditioner was broke in our room as well as a couple other rooms. So we opened the windows which did not have screens. So the bugs and I hung out! Then around 2:30 — 3 am someone somehow thought it was a good idea to pressure wash the sidewalks and hotel facia with the biggest truck mounted pressure washer I’ve ever seen! LOUD is an understatement! So anyway it was a great experience inside such a historic place! We will be back to try this hotel again! It was just my luck this all happened on the trip I took. I don’t believe my experience was a good representation of the hotel. Very clean place and never would still be open if it wasn’t a great place!

Horrible cold water was completely off. Coffee pot broke. Told them about it. They did nothing. I will pay more next time for a different type of room.

Not a great experience. Room was small and bathroom was even smaller (paid for a "deluxe" room). Mattress was about 12" from the floor and made it difficult to get out of and it was uncomfortable. TV was very small. Refrigerator did not cool well at all. Toilet seat was broken and toilet ran constantly. Shower faucets just spun and it was difficult to regulate the water temperature. The tub had a lot of rust stains all over it. There were no Kleenex in the room at all. The only ice machine in the building (on the 2nd floor and room was on the 5th floor) was broken and staff said we could try to go to the restaurant next door and ask them if they would give us ice. Every time I asked the staff a questions, it was like I was interrupting them and they did not want to be bothered. Will not stay here again, if I can avoid it. Tried 5 other hotels in downtown St. Petersburg that night to move but all were sold out.

The building is interesting. The restaurant downstairs is great. The rooms are small. The bathrooms are smaller. The TV is even smaller, but we don't watch TV anyway. It's in a good location, it's clean and I'm not unhappy, but it would be nicer if they embraced the history of the building and restored it to it's original state.

Great location. Small rooms and nothing fancy, but clean. We could walk or ride bikes everywhere we wanted go. The price is quite reasonable for a downtown location.

Giving this a 4 star if you like haunted hotels. Stayed several times and was placed in the same room twice. The second time we only stayed 1 night before asking to be moved out of the room. When your bed moves in the middle of the night, and it's not from fun, it's time to get out! If you like this kind of excitement, the sixth floor is for you. Had no problem in any of the other rooms. Ghost Hunters has filmed here. Location is great, rooms need updating. No onsite restaurant but so many places in walking distance that none is needed. Price is reasonable for location.

My wife and I enjoyed our recent stay for two nights for our DTSP getaway. The location is great and allowed for a walking tour of downtown.
The room was neat and clean. The bathroom was clean and adequate soap, shampoo and towels were provided. The hotel has a nice vibe to it — wooden floors, colorful walls, etc. The staff were friendly.
Parking is available in the city garage across the street or at the paystations on the street (free after 8 pm til 9 am). There is a $10 parking pass available from the hotel.

This place embodies the phrase “you get what you pay for”. At the price point, the location is fantastic and the staff seemed nice enough I suppose. Other than that though there is not much else going for this hotel. The bed was decent but TV is ridiculously small so I hope you don’t plan on using it. The biggest thing for our experience was that the comforter on the bed was visibly dirty and then the pull out bed had literal blood and other unidentifiable stains on it! I feel like if they were to put some more care into cleaning their rooms properly and providing their patrons with proper sheet/towels/etc. Then this would have been a very different review!

Very cool boutique hotel. Not the cheapest, but they certainly can justify the prices. It has a wonderful location, the rooms are clean and well sized. The bathrooms are very small, and the shower head was at chest level for me (I am 6'6", so it isn't as bad as it sounds). They only have 1 elevator, and it isnt the fastest, but the stairs are easy to navigate if you cannot wait. In defense of the minor drawbacks I just listed, this building was built in the 1920s and, while remodeled, it still maintains its old time charm and uniqueness. Also, it is only a 20 minute walk to Tropicana Field, 5 minutes from the waterfront, and less than 5 minutes from a very lively part of St. Pete. Oh yeah, also, go to The Mill for dinner. You will thank me.

My husband and I are newly weds! We decided to come to St. Petersburg for the Yankee game for our 2 month anniversary, since my husband is from New York and is a huge Yankee fan! We saw this hotel online. It looked decent, so I wanted to book it. We get to the hotel this afternoon. The rooms are very small and smells funny. The bathroom is tiny — there’s no counter space! We walk down by the water and it’s hot. So we gets back to the room and I want to shower. My shower doesn’t drain. Then I look down and there’s a HUGE pile of hair in the shower! THEN I go to reach for my towel and there’s a bug on it. I will never stay here again or recommend this place to anyone that comes here. I think it’s time to use the money people spend here and upgrade.

Stayed here with my boyfriend and somehow we got the best room in the hotel. A corner room with the only balcony I believe. It had a small kitchenette and there was pop in the fridge. I had an amazing stay so I rate it 5 stars but its an older hotel and we got lucky with our room. The other guests we met were not happy with their rooms. And there are no items at the front desk. We forgot toothpaste and they didn't have anything complementary you have to go to publix. But the bar on the corner of the hotel is fantastic the bartender made a great old fashioned. And the bar underneath the hotel is a blast with Latin music and dancing and great sangria. So over all we loved our stay.

This hotel is excellent if you are only concerned about location. It is located a couple of feet away from all the restaurants and bars around downtown. Plus the bay it's just a couple of miles away. Now, talking about the rooms size a cleanliness. I will give it one star. The place needs to be updated and deep cleaned.

This was easily the worst hotel experience of my life. There was an intoxicated and belligerent guest in the room next to mine who was screaming, cursing, and banging on people's doors all over our floor. It took the hotel staff almost an hour of not wanting to deal with the situation to call the police. It took another two hours for the police to show up. Meanwhile I spent from midnight until 3 am trying to keep this guest from destroying hotel property and assaulting hotel staff and other guests. Meanwhile, numerous guests are leaving the hotel because of the situation and the hotel not dealing with it properly. In the morning, after getting only 5 or so hours of sleep, I explain what happened to the manager and she says she can give me $12 back. $12 for three hours of dealing with their intoxicated guest who ruined the entire floor's night because the hotel would not deal with it properly. I hope they are paying their staff better than that!

This is a great place to stay if you can handle a bit of noise. It is a very old building that has been restored so expect a bit of noise. It is very clean in the room. Don't expect a lot of extra luxuries or anything over the top. I will say this though. Sophia who works the front desk was amazing. She helped me when representatives from expedia were being rude and less than helpful and was nice about it. She deserves a promotion for amazing customer service.

Very nice staff. Has small coffee pots in room but would be so much nicer if it had a coffee station in the lobby with a variety of creamers and sugars. Shower was hot and has nice air conditioning.

Nice place and unique. The room was nicely decorated and clean. Just the bathroom had a sewage smell coming from a drainage near the sink that kinda put a stain on the lodging part. The front desk was pleasant and helpful with direction, sonny remember her name nut she was a young woman from Greece, very good service.

I love this hotel, this was our first time visiting St. Petesburg. The trip was amazing and the hotel was so quaint, I love the character and modernist of the rooms. The hospitality was amazing. The hotel is centrally located and near everything. The hotel was a perfect location and I can't wait for us to go back!

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The lobby, rooms, everything was so outdated and unkempt. From blood on our bathroom door walls, to black mold in the shower ceiling. The bathroom sink was so narrow my fiance couldn't fit into it to brush his teeth. The smell of smoke welcomed us into the room as we opened the door to our room. We mentioned all the issues during our checkout and their response was an "awe we're sorry. " I'm typically not one to complain about a hotel room but this was probably one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. Do yourself a favor and book another hotel in the area. You'll thank me. :)

The place was clean. That can be appreciated. Our room had a queen bed and a low quality mattress that caved in on one side. We experienced terrible water pressure and if I wasnt 5'5", the shower head would have been uncomfortably low. In short, the hotel is not "boutique"… more like outdated and under budget. If you want a cheaper place to stay in the downtown location and don't care about the niceties of your stay, you will be content here. Unfortunately I left my phone charger there at check out. When I came back to pick it up a few hours later it was nowhere to be found and the cleaning staff hadn't found it. Apparently someone checked in and out of the room in those few hours and stole my phone charger in the process. I'm not surprised the next guest cancelled their reservation. We will be at the Hyatt next time.

With the recent Nor'easter cancelling flights, my wife needed to extend her stay in ST Petersburg so we needed to find a hotel near the Hilton conference center. The Ponce De Leon was the only one available. The hotel describes itself as a "boutique hotel". A far better description is run down. The building must have been beautiful in its prime. The lobby still has art deco features, as do the hallways with art deco water fountains. If you watched the original Miami Vice shows, you can get a picture of what this hotel is like from the scenes in those old hotels. The queen room was very small and smelled of smoke despite requesting a non-smoking floor. The bathroom was incredibly tight and was void of any vanities or surfaces to place toiletries. The bed and coverings screamed of the 70's. Wall paper was peeling off. When my wife got into her room, after about a minute the room's smoke detector started going off and continued to do so every minute or so. The front desk clerk seemed annoyed when told about this and eventually a maintenance person fixed it. The room was very loud — every little noise from the hallway seemed to become amplified, penetrating the walls. Around midnight some partiers were playing loud mariachi music in the hallway. This property is in desperate need of restoration.

Nice place just near the seafront. We enjoyed our stay there. But there are very different apartments, some of them are very small. We were surprised a lot, when we got a spacious room after complaining to administrator about the noise from the street which made us disappointed in our small room. Overall, the hotel is very old, at least 30, or, probably 40 years. Hotel history says, it was the best hotel of the St. Petersburg sea front st the time, when it 2as build. I can believe it. But now it is old-fashioned hotel in good location. If you need a relatively cheap stay at that area, you can choose this opportunity.

I was happily surprised by this hotel. I booked same day and got a very deal. After booking I saw many negative reviews and was worried. Thankfully I stuck with my choice. Perhaps the people who gave the reviews were expecting the Ritz. Very helpful staff, clean and quiet rooms with very comfortable beds.

This is an old hotel but in a great location. The hotel shows it's age & there is an odd smell in the rooms & hallways. The room I was in was clean. The staff was wonderful & friendly. Parking is a bit of an issue like in most downtown areas of a city. Great walking location. Above and near many great dining hot spots.

Cute little boutique hotel. Small rooms but comfy. Offers $10 daily unlimited parking pass. The hotel is in the perfect location. Literally walking distance to get anywhere desired. Never even needed to use the car while in saint Petersburg. Friendly staff. Would consider staying here again.

Better description would be a guest house style hotel. Good location near the water, multiple restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc. One small elevator that had some issues. Nice tapas restaurant attached, and a club type bar below that. Rooms were older and TV was not good. Construction close by during my stay, so it was frequently loud. Would stay elsewhere next time downtown.

The maids were like ninjas… in a good way. The room was a little small for my liking, but the motif was original. Also, I stayed in a standard room band cannot speak to the size of the larger ones.

Very good location, close to the sea. Staff very nice, helpful. Some rooms deserve a little expense but if you want to change, feel free to ask. The staff are really friendly.

This is quaint and centrally located place to stay. The staff was very friendly, and my stay there was very good overall. When I am back in this area, I will definitely be back.

The staff is helpful especially Eunice at front desk. The room is pleasant and gives you the since your in your home away from home. It's nice and quiet on the floor I'm on. There's even friendly guest. I love the environment. I would recommend to a friend.

Not sure what all these people are griping about! Good grief! It’s a great little boutique hotel in the middle of downtown. Parking is a short block away and cost $5. Try finding that in Tampa! It doesn’t exist. The initial receptionist was rude and unfriendly, but the rest of the staff more than made up for the one bad apple. The room was adorable and comfortable. The bathroom as well. Would recommend getting them situated with the curved shower rods to offer more room. We will definitely stay again.

Staff was very nice. The bathrooms were a little small, and the shower head was leaking so it sprayed in a lot of the wrong directions. And it wouldn't allow me to use just the faucet. The bed was comfortable and loved how close it was to the stadium.

Just stayed on Saturday night and won't be wasting my time with this place again. Showed up after 3pm check in time and was given the keys to go to room 601. When coming off the elevator there were 2 housekeepers on that floor working to get rooms ready for everyone. Waited almost 30 minutes in the hallway with another couple how had the room a couple of rooms down from us. Lack of communication with the front desk and the housekeeping staff is a major issue and this is something that should never happen when your running a so called boutique motel. Take your business elsewhere as your most likely just going to end up disappointed.

The staff was nice, the rooms were small but cute. There was a mini fridge and coffee pot. Comfortable accommodations. Parking was a nightmare because of all the construction.

We stayed there during 4th of July. The room was clean and tidy upon entire. Over all the room was great, there were just a couple of things that were lacking. The TV was almost falling off the wall because it was unscrewed from the mounting brackets and the glass shelf in the bathroom was barely attached to the wall, most things slid off into the sink. The need was comfortable as was the couch. The service was prompt and helpful with questions about the local area. The location was great, we walked to several bars and tap houses that were within 15 minutes of the hotel. Overall, I would stay again.

If you're looking for a place to stay in downtown with character (and you're not bothered by a very small TV being in the room) then this is a great option. It's obvious this is an old building, but the modern furniture mixed in the rooms mixed with antique tiling in the bathroom give the rooms a charming feel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I forgot to bring my wine opener, and the front desk clerk went a fished out one from the office that was still in the box and let me use it. Really above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this place and stay there again.

Great little boutique type hotel in a great location downtown. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and nicely appointed. Kind of a chic vibe all-around. We went with another couple and shared a room — highly recommend!

Beautiful building. Rooms were very clean. Staff friendly but one of initial front desk talked into paying for parking pass which did not work or did we need. But did get credited back cost by other front desk staff. But no hangers in cupboard closet and doors or drawers would not close. No instructions/map in room as to where ice could be found (only on 2nd floor and we were on 6th). Small inconveniences that can be overlooked for cost of room and location.

Very cute & antique boutique hotel. Front desk staff made it perfect with their outstanding service. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have all that you need. Not good for families with young children as the rooms are European style (small) and the walls are extremely thin. You can hear EVERYTHING. Another great point though is that it is within walking distance to EVERYTHING.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The employees were rude and unhelpful. The room was quite literally falling apart around and on top of us. Part of the door frame fell off on top of us, the light in the bathroom didn't work (and took almost 24 hours to fix) and the minibar was filled with expired drinks (that we were also charged for. ) No one would give us a managers name, but we were offered a "free massage or manicure" the NEXT time we were there. When we told them that was not acceptable and we would not be coming back, we were told that if we were unhappy we could leave. Not to mention while we were there, the elevator broke with multiple people in it. I would never stay here ever again, especially for over $600.

Rooms are small and humid but cozy and inexpensive. This was our 3rd stay Great for staying overnight after partying downtown.

My wife and I was just getting away, a break from our fast busy lifes in Miami and we do a few "weekendCations" through out the year in other Nice but not so busy Florida citities with St. Petersburg in our top 5. Now as far as Ponce De Leon Hotel it was all in all nice, Quiet, clean, accommodating / courteous staff and for Memorial Day weekend was fairly priced, nice convenient restaurant attached with Great food Bkfast/lunch/Dinner… Though def not a deal breaker but the Queen room was a little smaller than expected and had a computer monitor size TV hanging on the wall… But we're only in room to sleep, relax/nap periodically so really not a big deal just a consideration to the Hotel as I'm sure if any kids are involved with guest the TV could be an important factor… Enjoy… Chad / Iris Calico Miami Fl.

Went to see a concert at the Jannus, which was only a block away. No hotel parking, but, we only paid $8 over four days at the garage across the street because we could walk everywhere and only reparked once. Loved the room, it felt clean with hardwood floors and unique decor. Plenty of space. Good bed. Windows you can open. Service was adequate. If you need to be greeted to feel validated, you might wanna go elsewhere. Also, try to get a room that isn't across from the housekeeping closet if you want to sleep during the day. I would definitely recommend.

The room was good for 3 adults. Has a king bed and pull out sofa/Murphy bed. However, the bathtub is out in the open next to the bed and the shower shares the toilet room… No curtain or anything, just a shower head on the wall next to the toilet. The room was clean and had a kitchenette. Was good for a place to crash for the night.

$1, 000 WORTH OF STOLEN PROPERTY If you’re reading this review, they never made it right. I recently stayed at the Ponce de Leon hotel. A few days went by without issue. And then, when I went to grab a few things out of my zipped suitcase, I discovered that every bit of camera gear I had brought with me was missing. A professional camera and lenses worth $1, 000 missing from my locked hotel room. There was no sign of forced entry, nothing else in my room moved or taken. No one else staying in the room. So someone with a key had stolen my property. I immediately told the people at the front desk. The manager showed up after 24 hours, only to tell me that all video footage is deleted every 24 hours. She refused to give me a refund for the room, or a partial refund, or to call the owner for me. The St. Petersburg police are now investigating this as Grand Larceny. I have not heard back from the hotel. If you’re reading this review, the hotel has not made this right. If the hotel refunds me the cost of the room or reimburses me for my camera, I will immediately update this review.

I would visit again however… >>>> There is no a. C in the hallways so there is a awful humid smell. The elevators are shakey and slow, but it is a old hotel. Elevator door shut on me too, I literally had to push it off of me. The front staff is nice but not overly welcoming. They are doing renovations so the room we stayed in was 85% done. Bathrooms do not fit more than 1 person in it. When I was leaning forward on the toilet I bumped my head on the sink (That's how close it is to the toilet). Also, when I was in the bathroom I could hear my neighbors convo too. When we were in bed we could here people goofing around in the hallway. We had a good view.

With small rooms and no lobby, it's hard to relax in this hotel. The good part is; this hotel is walking distance to restaurants and bars in St. Pete and is priced right for what you get.

Very nice location and rooms. Good restaurant. Problems with the water: the cold faucet ran hot and the shower water temperature fluctuated wildly.

Wonderful little European-style hotel. Each room is decorated uniquely with hardwood floors throughout. Fantastic tapas and music downstairs, and tons to do within walking distance. Cheap, convenient parking deck.

We originally booked for three nights but switched hotels after the first night. Cool '20's building but that's about all it has going for it. Toilet wouldn't work, hardwood floors were sticky and weird odors in lobby, elevator and room. Decent location & Staff was nice enough and let us cancel our reservation for the last two nights without charge. We ended up at the Hilton Bay-front for $40 more per night and it was 10x better.

No parking but you can buy a parking pass to a lot for $10. We had to park 2 blocks away. Tiny room — No dresser & smallest TV I've ever seen. No artwork or decor. Good point is excellent shower water pressure. Sore back from bed.

There was nothing to like about this hotel. Dirty, nasty musty odor, horrible view, no parking, no breakfast. Way overpriced and over rated. I would never stay here again.

Pluses: very clean, attractive, historic, excellent location, super-nice front-desk staff, microwave and fridge in room. Minuses: very small rooms, slowest elevator & smallest in-room TV in NA. Ultra low-flow shower, no onsite parking, terrible mattress (hard and feel every motion by partner), sheets not well fitted (don't stay in place), tiny bathroom. This is a old European-type moderate hotel, small, quaint, attractive and MUCH cleaner than Europe. Very well located-easy walking around downtown/bay-front area with numerous eateries, galleries and parks. There is street parking in the area and a parking garage close by.

Other than being in walking distance to many points of interest in downtown St. Pete, there's not much more positive. There is no hotel parking. You must park in a public parking garage almost 2 blocks away which charges for 2 days even if you only stay overnight. (Cash Only) And if you can squeeze into the bathroom, you wont find any hot water. Of course, if you mention that to the front desk, they will offer to change your room. However, if you are only staying for 1 night and you don't find out until the morning of your check out, this really doesn't help. And all I got from the front desk at that point is that they will notify maintenance. Not an apology. Lastly, be sure to bring slippers unless walking on dirty floors doesn't bother you. They need to try harder.

Nice boutique hotel. I liked the hardwood floors and the fact that it had a fridge and microwave. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean! I liked the character of this hotel and the location.

We had a special honeymoon suite last year around the same time of year. I can tell you it was not much of a honeymoon. The attempt to remodel the rooms was not done from a GC. Modern looking room, floors were cut poorly, tile mosaic was in need of cleaning and repair, tub with gooseneck was busted, outlets in room must have been cut out with a school scissor. The smell was musty but consider the age and what this hotel was in the past. Service was dull, there were not too many smiling faces just faces that look like they didn't want to be there. Pictures are deceiving from far away. DIY Ikea nightmare.

On the top of the list for worst places I've ever stayed. Shower didn't work properly water never got hot. Window shades didn't work blinds are broken. Bed was broken felt like I was rolling out all night. Only get 4 fuzzy TV channels. Paid parking. Free internet. Good location. Within walking distance to a lot. Highly recommend staying anywhere but here.

I had a very different experience than the other reviewers. The staff were very helpful. My room was clean and fresh smelling. I could not hear the other guests from my room. There can be some street noise, so I recommend getting a room on a higher floor. Because it was called a boutique hotel, I thought the rooms would be small and the artwork modern. I got the art part right, but my room was ample. The bathroom was small, but it had character. Of course, the location is great. In short, I liked this hotel more than a typical large corporate place.
