Beautiful historical motel that has been renovated very well. Pet friendly with no fee. They even have treats on the bed for them!

This is a very quaint place in nice location I highly recommend it.

We come to St. Petersburg often and have tried sevearl pet friendly lodgings. But this is by far the best. We have found our home away from home. No more searching.

I planned a girls getaway with 9 of my gf and Crystal Bay made us feel
Like royalty. The GM Pat, Kathy ad Michael and all of his staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The accommodations were immaculate, the rooms beautifully furnished and comfortable and the beds were awesome. I would not stay anywhere except Crystal Bay when in the area. Five star property!

We love this hotel and find ourselves coming here almost every month! Free parking/amazing breakfast. Nice pool and minutes from beach! Best part is it is affordable.

Just stayed there for Labor Day. Loved the hotel. Great experience and centrally located. Loved the historic features and friendly people who worked there. Definitely loved the breakfast choices. Will be back again.

Rooms were very clean. Older hotel but no issues. Felt very safe from COVID 19. Great prices. Great service. Will absolutely return.

This is not only a great location but such a beautiful historic B & B. The lobby and lower common areas are stunning and the suites very large and could easily sleep a family of 4. The staff goes above and beyond and if you are extra lucky you will be checked in by Jasmine who is a true hidden gem inside. Thank you for an amazing stay, we will return.

Wonderful B&B. Beautiful common areas. Great made to order breakfast in a really cool dining room. Staff great and very accommodating. Will stay whenever I’m in St. Pete. Also a beautiful bayside park right across the street and Treasure Island less than a mile down the road.

I was very impressed with the well maintained accommodations, breakfast was fantastic and pleasantly friendly staff. Also… there is more! I left my purse in my room and realized halfway home. They graciously packed it in a box and mailed it to me. They were so wonderful. I would totally recommend Crystal Bay Hotel to all…

A great place to stay for a long weekend. Quiet, clean, and pet friendly with an awesome breakfast every day. We brought our bikes along. A short ride to treasure island beaches and the pinellas trail. Downtown is a short 10 minute drive. Will stay again.

This place was a gem, it has so much character, rooms were beautiful and clean, the staff was extremely kind and helpful, and the breakfast was by far the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. 10 plus plus and it was well priced and fair.

I haven't even concluded my birthday stay and Crystal Bay receives 5 stars, hands down. It's affordable, elegant, casual, wonderful, sweet, charming, intimate, clean, and very well managed. The included made to order breakfast with a side buffet, set in a grand hotel model with a side garden room is fantastic. The grounds are beautiful, flanked with verandas, porches, private pool area, and settees throughout the 1st floor, all for your enjoyment. The staff are so personable and make you feel like this is your home. An optional in-room massage is available and the experience makes one feel like royalty. A must stay for you and a definite return visit for me. Fortunately, I live in the area and it's now my go-to personal retreat. Wish you could see my photos and you'd really get the picture. Enjoy!

GREAT location, friendly staff (I needed some toothpaste and they actually made a run to Walgreens since they were out), breakfast was good just like all of the reviews said. Quaint hotel. Clean room. Good amenities.

Wow what a great stay. This hotel is reasonably priced and has great charm. There’s no doubt this is an old building but it is well maintained and has the bonus of being near everything (plus a pool! ) It’s sometimes hard to find older, less cookie cutter hotels in Florida. Crystal Bay has been in operation since 1915, that must make it one of the older hotels in the area. They had a great complimentary breakfast with a cool that made hot foods to order as well as the standard continental offerings. Bonus for fresh juices and great quiches.

The actual building was gorgeous. The people were amazingly friendly and happy to work with us. We showed up with a trailer (moving cross country) and they let us park it right up front. They are also very pet friendly.

While staying at the crystal bay hotel in saint Petersburg I experienced some of the best hospitality that I have experienced in my life. Welcoming staff willing to do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. Fantastic breakfast combines a continental style breakfast bar and made to order pancakes, omelettes, and home made hash.

My partner and I had an amazing time here, we did not want to leave, everything from the check in to the birthday wishes the morning of my birthday made it extra special. Love the history, cleanness, easy access to everything… is was EXCELLENT…

Hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was great and perfect way to start day. Staff were friendly. We stayed for spring break and spent our days around St. Pete. Perfect location if you don't want to stay in the chaos of the beach but still close for quick access.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience! The staff was extremely kind and goes out of their way for their guests. The building is 103 years old and has a lot of charm. The breakfast was made to order and everything is fresh and delicious. Especially the homemade vegan muffins and the best homemade corned beef I've ever had. It's surrounded by a beautiful neighborhood and only minutes from the beach. Highly recommended.

Great location. Nice breakfast. Unfortunately the room smelt like urine. I placed some dryer sheets in air conditioner and clerk gave me a spray can of Lysol. Helped a little.

A slice of classic Florida. We enjoyed a calm atmosphere, but we were also 15 minutes from the downtown and 5 minutes from the beach. Absolutely perfect.

My one night stay was great, good customer service, clean but older rooms (it's historic) ; the breakfast was awesome! I'd go back for sure.

Great Hotel. Great location. Historic, quaint, independently and locally owned. Beyond accommodating, amazing free breakfast. Rooms are clean, spacious, and super comfortable. I have a lot of travel experience and this is a (beyond) great place. Comfortable bed, recently updated rooms, still keeps the charm (it's over 100 years old! ) Consider me a regular!

I have stayed at the Crystal Bay Hotel many times in various rooms. The rooms are spacious, no two rooms are really alike, they have a unique feel to them that is cozy and friendly. The staff is friendly and A++ service. The food is healthy and caters to us that are interested in organic, whole foods. Great location for the beach, Treasure Island and awesome dining experiences. Any time I have appointments in Tampa, I stay at the Crystal Bay Hotel and bring my friends and my husband along. You gotta go check them out!

First time at the Crystal Bay Hotel but it won't be our last. Spacious yet quaint, quiet yet bursting with positive energy, this gem was more than we could have hoped! Excellent and helpful staff, immaculate rooms with comfy beds and a made to order breakfast experience were among the attributes of this wonderful hotel. It has secured it's position as the only place we will stay when in the area!

Year old reviews don't tell the current story. Crystal Bay Hotel is restoring a 1915 building with continuous upgrades. The standout feature is the FREE breakfast that competes with a five star hotel: made to order omelettes, eggs in any form, quiche, abundant sliced fresh fruit, real home made breads, gluten free pancakes, all with a chef who's sensitive to diet restrictions. Did I mention a fine tea selection and fabulous coffee? I booked a second night after breakfast! The rooms were probably huge in 1915 but are smallish for today. Beds are queens and very comfortable. Decor is adequate, all rooms have coffee pots, refrigerator/microwave and ample sized TVs. My room had a large shower, no tub which I actually prefer. There's a quaintness about the place, it does have the old building smell, which could add to the charm or be offensive depending on your viewpoint. Despite the old wood smell, rooms are very clean, housekeeping is accommodating and staff is friendly. The original purpose for renovation appears to have been to offer healing — both physical and spiritual. I'm not attracted to the new age vibe, being a Christian, but I was attracted to the breakfast, for which I thank God.

Great value when your in town and don't care about the beach. Great place to stay, sleep and have a great breakfast cooked to order.

I recently just took a trip to the Crystal Bay Hotel for the 7 Life Lesson Retreat and I was more than satisfied with my stay. The staff was excellent, and made my stay feel as if I was at home. Breakfast was to order, as well as very tasty. The rooms were comfortable and cozy. As well as the overall atmosphere of the hotel. To be completely honest I didn't want to leave when my stay was over! In the near future I will be coming back again!

Great location, close to the best beaches! Excellent staff, friendly and helpful. Delicious fresh breakfast with home made omelets, pancakes, all types of breads, variety of juices, fruits. Great price plus an upgraded room! Clean room with lots of space. Who could ask for anything more.

Our experience with Crystal Bay Hotel was fantastic. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and served by a chef who cooked to order. Staff was helpful and kind. We loved hanging out in the comfortable lobby and sitting rooms. Nice pool. Close and free parking. We will be back again.

WOW! I stayed at the Crystal Bay Hotel, and attended the 7 Life Lessons Retreat. The hotel staff is amazing and attentive. Dr. Tong is filled with knowledge, and provides spiritual tools that are tangible. The rooms are simple. The food is delicious. I was even able to bring my dog along for the journey. A true hidden gem where you can relax, unplug, and go deep within…

Old world charm. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Awesome breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. My daughter and I visited and would most definately visit again. Met lots of friendly and fun people from various places in the US. Pleasantly surprised.

Wonderful experience! I stayed for 8 days. The service was very nice. There is a very good chefs that make very good breakfast. The managers were always trying to get to our needs. The rooms are very clean and wonderful! Plan to come back next year!

Great Hotel and Location… I figured from the reviews this place was pretty nice but they don't do it justice. Not only is it a great hotel but a great idea. For example no TV's in the rooms is genius. Who needs a TV anymore everyone nearly has one in their pocket and then some. When I wanted to watch something I just used my table and the Wi-Fi here was nice and fast. This place is just steps from a real nice park and has a great pool area. Parking in their own private lot is right next door. The have a restaurant here that I did not get to try but I heard great things about plus it sounded very healthy as well. I expect I will be back soon.

First of all. You feel very good as you enter… All of the staff go over and beyond to keep you comfortable, happy and well nourished… "Unlocking Life Lessons" is well worth your time and money. A. Clearing and cleansing. Which face it We could All use some help in dealing with the "world" these days… It puts things in perspective and they give you tools to further your journey in a more productive and happier way… Very friendly and informative. Zen environment… Love it!

We had the opportunity to stay here this past weekend. The staff was friendly and helpful when calling in last minute for a reservation. The room was large and inviting, clean and simple yet neatly decorated. Accommodation was a bedroom with an additional porch type room with couch and small fridge. Tile floors in the bathroom. No TV in the room which was just fine with me. The room had a hint of lavender fragrance. The sitting room aff from the lobby was beautiful. Full breakfast was included with fresh made omlettes, three types of sweet breads, fresh fruits, pancakes, coffee, juice and water. Yoga classes offered as well as foot bath soaks. Reasonably priced. Definitely stay here again in the future. ♡♡♡♡♡

Relaxing Stay! Our room had a TV, microwave and coffee maker. The room was comfortable and decorated. The hotel is historic and the furniture reflects the classic taste of a earlier era. The full, hot breakfast was great! I would stay again.
