The Housekeepers on the first floor were very nice & helpful. I really appreciate everything thing they help us with.

We have stayed here many times prior to this stay with issues but easily corrected. However jot to say with this stay. Had issues with towels, luggage racks and top it off TV not working. When calling down to desk we were told we have to be the ones to come and get what we need. Julie on evening shift is a total issue. She can speak to you in a manner but if you speak back she hangs up. Then you go down and the sign still stands at the desk stating they are assisting other guest, yet they stand out back as you can hear them. Then because I was angry and spoke up I was told she will kick me out of her hotel. Well I’m on the phone with the diamond desk she calls and supposedly spoke with here GM and said we needed to leave and we’re not welcome back.
Needless to say we are checking out and will never stay here again and it is because of one entitled person.

My husband I got a two bed room suite. Very nice. It includes a full kitchen. Breakfast is included downstairs. A lot of choices for breakfast.

The bed was comfortable; the continental breakfast was fabulous; we had a little bit of a problem with housekeeping noise but was re located to a different room without any problems. Over all it was a good stay.

Dinner is provided with free beer and good! Very nice rooms. Only complaint is the quality of service. Occasionally the bathroom will have less towels than when I arrived. They have an outdoor pool and a nice breakfast/dinner area. They also have a conference room. Would recommend but they could definitely improve!

Decent rooms busy on the weekends not so bad during the week pool busy most days. Socials and light dinner most days.

Clean comfy place to stay while on vacation with all the amenities of home. Wonderful staff! Will definitely be back!

The rooms here are gorgeous the bathroom mirror is perfect for selfies. However the staff at this location is atrocious. We had to request toilet paper twice in a two-night stay Housekeeping did not come until 5 p. M. The breakfast was really good on Saturday. There were only two staff members who were engaging. I felt as though there was only one housekeeper for the entire Hotel in my opinion. I don't know if they had call outs and it was just a bad weekend but I suggest that you bring your own toilet paper.

Loved how central the suites were. Rooms are elegant and clean, formal breakfast and diner, ALL the amenities of home. Price is far given everything offered. Service is impeccable, extremely helpful and attending. Will definitely refer people.

Over all, the lobby and dining areas looked fresh and clean. My room (suite) was clean and comfortable. However, I had the room that was the absolute furthest from the lobby. That made for a long walk for the evening meal and breakfast, which were both very good.

This place is amazing and the Suites are great! Definitely a five-star experience. Customer service is spot-on.

Enjoyed my experience here. Nice hotel that is relatively close to the airport and other tourist attractions in Saint. Petersburg. Breakfast was good. Electronic key cards were convenient… when they worked. We had to keep getting new ones until I decided to just download the app and use my phone. Pet policy isn’t too bad. We brought our four legged friend Jax! Would stay again if visiting the area as an intermediary stop (not final destination).

Meals are wonderful! Staff is pleasant and facilities are clean. Only negative at all is that housekeeping didn't come until early evening.

Great customer service, amenities, and spacious rooms. Definitely will stay here next time I'm in town.

I had a below average stay here, but I would hope that this is not the norm. My a. C. Went out, and night staff could not and would not fix it… key cards had to be reprogrammed multiple times… $h@# happens… other than that, hotel is beautiful and breakfast layout is very very good.

Nice value for your money?

Homewood Suites always has consistently nice rooms. Very clean and comfortable. My two small complaints are:. 1. The place is sooooo spread out. I'm at the far end and it's quite a hike to get to breakfast. 2. Speaking of breakfast — when I got there, the only fresh fruit they had was bananas. Ironic, huh? I'm in Tampa, FL and there are no oranges.

My daughter in law stays here when she visits. Very nice. Love the pool area with the cover at the end if you get too much sun it's nice to have a shady spot but you can still stay out and visit.

This is the first time we stayed at a Homewood Suites and it won't be our last. We were in Clearwater to visit family and friends for Thanksgiving. The location was easy to get to (we drove down from Atlanta) and close to close to our friends plus it is a straight drive to Indian Rocks Beach. It looks to be recently remodeled. Our king room suite was clean and roomy. We were there for 3 nights so the extra room and full kitchen was nice to have. There is a nice area that breakfast and dinners (M thru Th) are served free. Also, there is a very nice outdoor patio/pool area just behind the indoor eating room to enjoy.

The hotel is located in a very quiet area. There are many restaurants around and shopping mall nearby. The hotel has sy own pool and gym with weights and running machines. The Avitan are very clean and all are suites that have kitchen, two TVs and a separate room of the room but the richest of the hotel is free breakfast in the morning had from egg to waffles to fruit with juices and coffee. It was delicious apart from the people who work there who are very friendly.

We had the 2 bedroom suite, and it was great. We only stayed one night, but the breakfast was good too. Friendly staff and safe neighborhood. We would stay here again, for sure.

I recently stayed here and the rooms were classy and spacious. I am happy with the room and experience staying in the hotel. It was a fantastic location. The hotel was clean and we did not have any problems. The staff were always so nice, friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Very nice we had a great stay. Tasty food as well.

Staff was very friendly. The bathroom was disgusting. Pink mold behind the door, on the shower curtain, and in the corner of the tub. I’m almost positive that the bathroom hasn’t seen a cleaning product in a month. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed that we’ve ever slept in at a Hilton. The room had a lot of potential to be a nice stay but the shower really was the nastiest I’ve ever seen at a Hilton. We’re Diamond Members so we’ve stayed in our share of Hilton’s. We won’t be back to this location.

Recently stayed Thursday and Friday night at this hotel. I found the rooms to be spacious and clean and the service was good. My only suggestion would be to offer more fresh items at breakfast.

I stay at the Homewood Suites every time I come to the area. The hotel is a nice place and the staff is very friendly. Check in is very quick and they offer a nice selection of rooms and their breakfast and light appetizer happy hour is great. The last couple of rooms I stayed in were less than desirable. The walls seem a bit thin and I can hear people talking in the adjacent rooms. The showers and toilets had trouble, that were never completely repaired after reported. I really enjoy staying in this hotel due to the kitchen and the proximity of the hotel to a grocery store. I hope the maintenance issues are all fixed soon so I can change my rating to a 5 star rating.

The breakfast here is amazing, that is to say it's self service but the staff is quick to restock and keep things fresh. The rooms are great, we were a family of five displaced by Irma and our command set its members up here. We were placed in a 2BD/2BA suite which was amazing size wise. The rooms were well kept, the housekeeping staff was attentive, but not intrusive. We had an issue with the air conditioning, and it was fixed within the hour. They do a Social with free drinks and snacks Monday through Thursday that, at times, could be called a small dinner. The units have a fridge, maybe 9.9 cubic feet, that's not the standard home size but much larger than your usual hotel. A small dishwasher, sink, two burner stove. I just can't think of a negative experience!

All parades that are suites with kitchen sofa bed and a fourth Desperado data very clean and beautiful. If Quedariamos here another be.

Enjoyed the spacious living room, well equipped kitchen/ dining table, instead of just getting a hotel room. I would like to compliment the staff at this Clearwater home wood suites in particular. We travel a lot and hotel staff usually range from uncaring to adequate, however I was Impressed with several staff here. The front desk staff was courteous and efficient. When I did not see any towels by the pool, the closest staff happened to be the ones handling the evening social refreshments, and when I asked them where pool towels were, they said they would be glad to get me one. Not did they do that with a smile, but they brought 2 towels and apologized for none being by the pool area. After my swim a young gentlemen nicely told the kids in the pool that it was closing time for the pool, but that he had a task to do, so they just needed to finish their swim by the time he returned. That was so much nicer than making them get out immediately. At that moment my key did not work to let me back into the hallway, so I asked that same employee for assistance. He tried my key then used his key and took the time to say to me that the front desk would be glad to make a replacement key if I had any more problems. Breakfast food varied each morning with fresh strawberries, very good navel oranges, hash, bacon, eggs, potatoes, as well as the usual donut/bread/waffle carb type foods.

Cons: This room has quote possibly the worst laid out bathroom I've ever encountered in a hotel. I hope you don't want to wash your hands after using the toilet since it is in another room but you'll have plenty of room for bathroom pilates since they couldn't think of a better use for the space in what would be considered a spacious room. Oh and I hope you don't want to hang up your towel to dry since the only hanging space drapes over the toilet. Pros: The front desk staff is spectacular. Very friendly and quick. TVs in both rooms.

Well… wasn't the worst. Started at check in… young lady was very nice. The problem was the room she gave us was in the process of being remodeled. Moved to a 2nd room… was on the second floor with the elevators only on the far ends. 3rd room… 1st floor but wife and I smelled something… wasn't sure was it was… but smell went away after 2 days. Also had issues with the room key… had to be reprogrammed at least 3 times. As for the daily breakfast… it is what it is. Oatmeal, assorted egg dishes (changed on a daily basis), the usual suspects. Not the worst… but no Drury Inn. The 5 o'clock thing was really sketchy… 1st night was just a salad and some celery. Etc with some kind of dip along with a corn chowder. May I ask that if you are going to serve eggs for the salad, please chop them up… not leave them whole. 2nd night was a bit better with make your own tortilla chips with salsa, sour cream… again, the usual suspects. Not great, but better than night 1. Also ad a bean soup… which was tasty. 3rd night was a winner… grilledburgers and chicken with all the fixings… that was spot on! 4th night were sliders of some sort… wife and I went to a local restaurant after tasting one along with a potao soup. That missed the mark. Soooooo… doubt if I would stay here again. As I said… not the best but not the worst. All personnel were very nice, good location… but it is in need of dire need of updating. Beaches are a good half hour away.

Rooms were clean, service wasn't that great. Free breakfast wasn't worth it, go down the street to a fast food chain for better food. Pool was clean. Booked 2 rooms but they gave 1 of our rooms away… very poor management.

Whenever I am in st Petersburg on business this is the hotel I choose to stay at. Great breakfast, great dinner, enough parking. I have stayed at a few other places near by but none of them were as good as the Homewood suites.

Update April 2016: After management changed and most staff too, the hotel is not what it used to be. Service is sometimes good, sometimes unacceptabel, food at breakfast was this morning spoiled. When you arrive at 6 pm in your room that looks like when you left it and the cleaning woman knocks at 6:15 pm than something runs not good. Only excamples that happened the ladt 5 days but too often to really enjoy the stay : — ( Interior is okay but you see that it is old in the meantime. Before: Very friendly people. Good rooms. Good location to get everywhere quick.

The location is incredibly convenient abd the staff are all extremely friendly.

Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable, but there's no oven in the kitchen.

Furniture was very worn down, something in the bathroom dripped literally all night, walls are thin enough to hear the couple in the next room arguing for hours. Did not sleep well.

This hotel is well kept with friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast and happy hour socials are nice perks. Restaurants, bars, and coffee shops are just a short walk away. Although everything was very clean, the appliances and furnishings could use an update. TVs have an HDMI port so sign up for HHonors for complimentary Wi-Fi, bring an HDMI cable and laptop, then enjoy Netflix/Hulu/SlingTV/etc. :)

So far we have stayed here three years in a row for over a week each stay and we were never let down until this year. The rooms are nice and the hotel itself is in a great location for traveling to different attractions and beaches. The beds are very comfortable and the staff is very friendly, they also just remodeled the pool with a nice pool deck. We are a diamond member and therefore get the premium Wi-Fi for free, however we cannot tell the difference between it and the complimentary Wi-Fi however we never had any problems with it except for having to login to it through a web browser every 24 hours, which is NOT very fun during an extended stay. It would also be nice if they also had a Ethernet jack for devices such as an Xbox which I had to use an Alternate MAC address of my laptop to connect it to the Wi-Fi, since it cant open the web browser. This year we got two rooms next to each other and immediately noticed that some furniture was missing from one room that the other room had such as a desk chair and some lamps. Also, housekeeping completely skipped both of our rooms twice, even after we told the front desk about this, we then asked for some towels and they said that they were out of them. Also the 24 hour coffee bar tends to run out of cups, lids, coffee, and creamer very frequently. Again I only had those problems this year. I would stay here again and would recommend this hotel.

Place is perfect and really good price. Has Internet and the breakfast is not any little thing, it's a real big lots of choices.

Room was nice and spacious. Bed was OK still no place like home. What hurt the experience for me was the internet and breakfast. I was not even able to connect on but one device. They give a complimentary WI-Fi for guest as snail speeds of 0.9MBps and offer you the option to pay an additional $5 per night for "Premium " Internet. I could barely check my e-mail much less watch Netflix. If you just use the room for sleeping and other things not requiring internet then is is a great place. Oh and the breakfast was just sub par. A few hash brown patty's my McDonald's and some Sausage croissants consisted of the hot breakfast unless you wanted a waffle like every other Motel 8.

My family and I stayed here for Memorial Day andcwe found the room size tp be great, cleanliness outstanding, and staff awesome. We didnt like the chaos at breakfast, and there was not enough seating. My kids loved the pool and we loved being ulmerton, not too far the beaches and stores. The bed was AMAZING. We had just stayed 3 nights at Tampas' best rated hotel and wished we had stayed here the whole time. Overall, we would stay again.

All in all this hotel is just ok. Rooms are ok, food is as expected. Room service is ok, front desk is nice. However, I would not stay here on my own dime. As an extended stay hotel, decent internet is crucial for a variety of reasons from business to wanting to skype family and friends. I would gladly even pay for internet, but the 'high speed internet' that is provided is so slow and touchy that I can barely load web pages and certainly can't skype — let alone watch video. This may not be a make or break point in other hotels, but in an extended stay hotel this is unacceptable and pathetic.
