It's important to have proper expectations when selecting an extended stay hotel. No daily cleaning services are provided and cookware may not be available. This establishment did provide cookware. The location was excellent and I read positive reviews, so I booked a week in July 2017. The hotel staff were friendly and the check-in/checkout times were reasonable. The pictures for my single occupant, first floor room are attached. All of the horizontal surfaces were clean and the very thick bath towels were unexpectedly pleasant. Definitely bring your own soap and toilet paper. The pictures didn't capture the German cockroaches, dingy old rug and moldy smell. A friend commented that a lot of the guests did not look happy. The police came twice during my short stay, confirming his observations. The Assistant Manager never contacted me after I left a message at the front desk and called the next day, so I checked out a few days early. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place. If you are on a really tight budget and book in advance, you'll get some of the best extended stay rates in town.

The rooms were clean it's situated around different things to do and eat. Fairly priced.

My wife accidentally booked a room at the Extended Stay off Executive Dr thinking it was this one which we've stayed at many times before. We figured what the heck, they can't be much different so we gave it a shot and stayed there. What a mistake! The rooms compared to these were disgusting, the service sucked, nobody is ever at the front desk, and the Manager has a disgusting attitude to match her disgusting rooms! We will stick with this Extended Stay and never go back to the one off Executive Dr. Thank you for providing clean rooms and excellent service!

Stayed here 3 years ago, now here again. Room is very clean, staff friendly. For the price, great value.

Kitchen and refeigerator are smaller than expected. Overall, similar to a small efficiency apartment.

We are staying here for a week. The staff are very friendly and professional. The rooms and grounds are very neat and tidy. It is a low cost, no frills place. In my observation, a large percentage of the guests appear to be using it as an alternative to renting as opposed to vacationers/ snow birds. Hard to beat the price if simply looking for a clean, cheap place to crash for a week.

This is my 3rd time staying here for a period of time for my husband and self and Steve, Angie Drew and the 2 other lady's are the best. They do everything they can! It's very very clean. Room's, Bedding, towels everything. You could'nt find better place it's in the middle of my son's school and my job and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. And we will be here until we get in our New Home. I'm very comfortable here that when my day ends I say I can't wait to get home to my wonderful husband and boy's. Let's just say Great Staff Great Room's Great location and Price is Great. Thank you all, Including all other employees cleaning everything every morning. Thanks to all Staff for striving for excellence because it's excellent!

The rooms are clean and spacious. Outside property is very well kept. Is close to restaurants and convenience stores. The General Manager Steve is very helpful and willing to help anyway he can. The stay was good and the prices are reasonable and do check on the special rates they provide.

I would not stay at this place for an extended period of time. This is an extended stay that some state and private agencies house individuals until they can find them adequate housing or remedy their specific situation. This is a great service for them but with that you have some of the issues you might expect to come along with that.

Would not recommend this place at all. I made a reservation over a month in advance and they cancelled my reservation hours before I was supposed to be there. They didn't leave any voicemail on my phone I found out when I went to check in that night that it was cancelled and got no apology or help trying to find another place to stay.

Super friendly staff clean rooms. Very affordable tbh best in area. I always come here its my go 2 hotel.

Chaz and Drew very professional and courteous in response to questions regarding our extended stay at Tampa Bay. Their expedient behavior to address hotel-related question such as coffee and other personal effects were answered in a timely manner. Further, Steve was instrumental is saving us our suite # 217 since the hotel was completely filled due to peak season.

Not bad at all. Still kind of expensive, related to lack of amenities, such as no pool or continental breakfast. Vending machines and laundry facilities are expensive, as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. But, if you're in a bind and need a temporary place to stay, it's suitable.

My favorite part about this place is the staff. Its a beautiful hotel and the rooms are very comfy. Ive stayed here multiple times and would recommed anyone to stay here. Ive looked around and cant find a better place for a good price.

Super clean hotel. Quiet enough. At this location you need a car. Or be prepared to catch bus or Lyft. Wal greens in walking distance. Rooms small but adequate. Beds are a double. They ask you only exchange dirty towels every other day. Weekly house keeping. Laundry room on site. Coffee available in lobby from 7 am — 10 am.

Nice rooms and prices… Don't lock yourself out they won't let you back in also construction on rooms. It was quiet and cozy until the 3rd day and for that I had to remove a star, sorry.

Staying here is a wonderful experience. The staff is great and very helpful. The rooms are very clean and cozy. I would truly recommend family, friends or even self to stay here. Very good prices! Two thumbs up!

Great service, excellent staff always friendly and helpful. Have been staying a few months and have not one complaint. Rooms very clean, walking distance (1 block) to Walgreens, easy drive to the beaches. Also the staff was amazing after the hurricane even with no power they made the guests as comfortable as possible, trash was always empty, housekeeping staff was running.

Some people just like complaining… and some times unpleasant people stay at hotels. I travel a ton for work. I spent over two weeks here and had no issues. For the cost it was a good value. Additionally, the staff was always pleasant. Drew, with gust services went above and beyond to help me with a issue that was not hotel obligated. I would suggest giving it a shot!

Staff was friendly & helpful. The neighbors kept to themselves & minded their own business. Had a wonderful experience while I stayed here. No complaints on my end.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! Not quite sure if it’s the staff writing the reviews but the stay here was absolutely terrible, no clean towels and I was told that I would have to bring my laundry down for them to replace my towels. They locked all of my mine and my fiancé’s valuables in the room without notice then we had to find someone to run the front desk at 9 pm. Only to tell us the price we booked for wasn’t correct and we would have to pay another 100 on top of the 600 we had already spent. There were people out front fighting and smoking weed. I’ve been in better places in the run down parts of Brooklyn Ny and have been treated better and way more satisfied. I will be contacting the manager ASAP!

This was the creepiest "extended-stay" I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in plenty. The rooms were tiny, the walls, ceilings and floors were thin, there were many residents with multiple children who were not monitored with parents who could give a… The "residents" all looked like thugs or crackheads and people were shouting at each other across the parking lot acting unruly and oblivious to affecting others around them. This is NOT a real Extended-Stay, but they use the name of Tampa Bay Extended Stay under the auspices that it is. Do NOT stay there; you will be as miserable as was I. Go to St. Pete. It's got a lovely, real Extended Stay for the SAME PRICE. Rooms are very ample, a real refrigerator, plenty of desk-space, spacious bathroom and closet storage. Lovely kitchen and the staff could not be more professional and courteous to their guests; the antithesis of "Tampa Bay Extended Stay". The worst!

Decent clean place to stay, while on business. I wanted for nothing, with the exception, there is no supermarkets within walking distance. Very helpful and friendly staff.

I've been staying here for a week and I love the rooms and the staff are wonderful anything I needed the got it for me. My kids love the emenities too oh the beds are very comfortable also but I really would recommend for you and your family to stay at the Tampa Bay Extended Stay Hotel if you are visiting The Tampa Bay Area.

The only reason I'm giving this place two stars, is because I spoke to two different ladies and the second lady was really nice and helpful. She went out of her way to help us. If it wasn't for her, I would be giving this place one star. The other lady told me she couldn't help me and hung up the phone to leave us in a filthy room. I stayed in a standard room. And it didn't look too bad. It seemed as if It was really clean. However, a few hours past I saw a lot of roaches and a big spider. As soon as I jumped in the bed to relax. I was itching all over. I felt small ants and roaches crawling in the bed. Trying to sleep was almost impossible. There was a couple next door physically fighting, throwing things around all day and night. The cops finally showed up around 3am to dismiss them. It was a very loud night. The next morning I called the front desk. They switched our sheets. A few hours later. I saw a HUGE bed bug crawling towards my 6 month old in the bed. Fortunately, I was able to stop her from being bit. What really made me upset is the fact that when I called the front desk, I was told that they couldn't do anything about it because all of their rooms were full. And we had to wait until the next day. I wasn't going to sit there an entire day watching my children get bit by bedbugs. So we packed our bags to leave. On the way out the lady at the desk offered us a room temporarily while they had our room sprayed and cleaned. Even though I appreciated it.

Everything about my stay here was great. Better then other Tampa bay Estended stay was the best. Hey im going back there this weekend and the next and the next.

This good, has several shops nearby. Lack of pool.

This place is so friendly and the staff are do accommodating and willing to help with everything. They are attentive to detail and quick to correct any problem that may arise. I have stayed there a few times and will always continue to go back bc of how well I am treated there. The rooms are spotless and they are family friendly. Kudos to the awesome management and staff.

This is friendly and warm and welcoming place if you want a place where they treat you like family then this is the place Steve and Angie are really good people and very caring people and the rooms are clean and updated price is good just very pleased with this place.

It's in a nice location. I'm visiting a friend that just moved down here, and after helping them do some research, I found that the weekly rate is more affordable than other extended stay places.

We have had a great experience at this extended stay. Nice clean rooms. Staff is awesome. If you need a place to stay this is a great place.

Desk was friendly and helpful. Rooms are small and dated. Sleeps 4, but kitchen only had plates, etc for 2. Beds were comfy, but the hotel guests were loud and profane with very thin walls. Lots of traffic noise and sketchy area of town with bars, strip clubs, etc. There was a shooting up the street while we stayed here. Price was low, but you get what you pay for! Would not recommend.

Great location for my family's needs! Being in between homes it is a comfortable and clean place to call home for a few weeks and have and easy drive for work, school and the beaches. The weekly rates are the best in town and the staff is super friendly. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable with my family of 4.

Compared to the Quality Inn chain, which are also cheap and good service hotels, these rooms just like the beds are smaller, the toilet service in the room are only on Mondays when you arrive although the bathroom was clean, from the tub Two small cockroaches came out and the kitchen equipment could be better.

Very comfortable, excellent service, I love having kitchen in the room with Hoya, frying pan, dishes, glasses, etc.
