Bed bug found in room 102. Staff was nice and quickly resolved issue and offered refund or suite. But this is very disgusting and unsanitary.

Not. Worth the money. Drugs are being used. The hallway smells with horrible marijuana. Just bad.

I have stayed in Microtel Inn before and they have been great. So I booked a room my husband and I. We got into Tallahassee late this afternoon. We were really disappointed with the room. Not enough plug ins and one of the plug ins was not working. If it wasn’t so late we would have not stayed here. I would have canceled my reservation. My husband is a disabled veteran and has an early morning appointment.

It's really good hotel, kindly, gentle people, not expensive, clean, everything was well!

You get what you pay for. Thin walls, dirty carpet, iffy AC, and no microwave in the room. It did its job and is in a great location.

My mom was in room 201. The room was lovely and clean. The staff was great, and the breakfast was marvelous. Great location.

The only reason why I gave it a three star was because it was a clean hotel and the staff was friendly. When you walk in it smells clean, and we didn’t have any issues with cleanliness but the beds and sheets were very unconfortable they felt very cheap didn’t provide much warmth and the water pressure in the shower was pretty much non existant. If it wasn’t for cleanliness and the staff I would have given it a one star. I stayed here two nights and I’m not sure I’d come back.

I slept at micro motel only for one night and woke up the next morning with over a dozen insect bites all over my body went to the dr and he said all the bites was bed bugs disgusting.

A quick, last minute, one night stay. My preference is usually to find a place with a kitchen or kitchenette so I can cook homemade meals, even while on the road. (Mainly b/c Dal & I both love to cook, it almost always saves a ton of money versus a restaurant every day/night, & it's healthier, for the most part/we know exactly what we're putting in our bodies that way). We got an excellent rate for the night for a Queen, Non-Smoking, Suite. Dal teased me on the way to the hotel, thinking it was going to be a let-down and unsatisfactory. We were pleasantly surprised (neither of us had ever stayed at one before). When we walked into the lobby, the lady at the front desk was very upbeat, helpful, and her positive attitude was contagious. The lobby was clean and organized. Our suite was on the first floor, and upon walking in it smelled clean, looked clean, and was both roomy and comfy. We woke up well rested, filled up on their complimentary breakfast — which was all good, checked out, and drove the rest of the way of our road trip by this evening (finally… YAY! … Lol). Our experience here was more than satisfactory, and we recommend it.

Roaches, dirty room (bring your own sheets and make sure you use antibacterial wipes to wipe down everything! ). The cleaning staff take no pride in themselves, much less the appearance of the hotel. Their uniforms were dirty, wrinkled and nasty. I'm sorry, but if you are going to try to market your hotel over the others, at least make sure your staff represents the image you are trying portray. The managers need to check after their cleaning staff to make sure they are doing their job. I didn't give it only one star because when I pointed out the dirtiness of room the manager jumped right on it and sent someone to clean the syrup off the telephone (yes, that was a thing) and wipe down the counters.

If I could give them a negative 10 I would! They are in the hospitality business but are very nasty! I canceled a room that I reserved through a different company, that I’ve used plenty of times before. First off my reservation didn’t say anything about holding the amount for the stay before I even checked in, second it said that I could cancel anytime. I made the reservation and canceled within 5 minutes once I spoke with my sister and heard of the way that guests were treated here. Well little did I know just how bad it would get. They refused to refund me the amount for the stay, I even called booking. Com and they refused to speak with them as well. I was given the run around. The manager told me to file a claim with my bank, I said no I will be up there in 15 minutes. I was told to wait on the manager because he wasn’t there, even though I just spoke to him. I was then told he went to lunch and that I would have to wait so I did. Next thing you know I waited for a few hours and low and behold he was back there the whole time! He refused to come back it and speak with me and then his front desk guy became rude with me as well. I was told to leave (mind you they told me to wait on him)! They called the cops and said I was trespassing! All because the manager didn’t want to give me a refund and was too coward to come speak with me. I HOPE THEY SHUT DOWN! oh yea the manager’s wife is the owner so good luck with him facing any consequences!

Was a nice location, next to the interstate highway great for having spent one last day in New Orleans leaving just before evening making my way south to Florida and saving some money on a hotel night. Room was on the ground floor not facing the parking lot, so there was ample foliage to not make it feel like a typical motel room. Furnishing was also a little more interesting. Breakfast was pretty simple and not all too varied, waffles and muffins with joghurt and cereal. Still great for the price, roughly 70$ at Spring break time.

At the tail end of an unexpected lengthy stay. This review may read like a love letter because of my gratitude for this place! First, the owner Sarah handled complications with our stay with a glorious conversation and top-notch compassion!. The front desk, I lovingly nicknamed Richard, "5-Star" because I have personally witnessed and experienced his unwavering commitment to deliver excellence. Stacy has given me endless friendliness, a listening ear and even a hug when necessary. Leslie always lent guidance and given "heads up" from a place of understanding. Even the weekend guy whose name escapes me. When the hotel was booked to capacity squeezed us in… The cleaning staff who have dealt with issues with my stay. Like me leaving things behind or the room ive checked out of not being left in the best shape. Have always been diligent, professional and kind!. Rooms are clean, breakfast on point, conveniently located to center of Tallahassee. I have been blessed to have been able to stay here and be with these people during this time! Thanks Everybody! Nice, convenient hotel. Rooms are clean and neat. The property was in good repair and the staff friendly and professional. I would stay here again.

This place is pretty nice. Location is amazing. Rooms are clean, staff is nice. Wi-Fi and breakfast are great. Staff is friendly and cordial.

HONEST: LOVED — staff, quiet on our floor, room. APPRECIATED: Conveniently located, food venues close. Meh: breakfast… will not be returning because of: roach.

It's clean and the crew is very nice and pleasant, the hotel smells, it's always a smoke smell in the elevator and hallways. The toilet runs all day and night. The manager was rude and I had to remain saved because I was there for my sister bridal shower and she accused me of running a business in that ragedy hotel. Keep in mind I had just got there, stayed only 2 days and brought all the decorations there, and had no visitors. She … the general manager I believe Sarah is her name … needs customer service training, and non discrimination training. I would not recommend staying unless you had no other options and just looking for a quick clean place to lay your head. There is nothing appealing besides the price. It used to look much better. But the regular staff will make you smile and are very loving and friendly.

Guess it could be nice… If the walls weren't paper thin. Alarm going off in another room ALL NIGHT. Staff did try to rectify the problem. People in the parking lot at 2 am extremely loud. Then up and down the halls. The room was very nice. Bed ok.
Great owners made it right and we stayed a second night.

Service was great night stay was ok had people doing the nasty in the room next to mine but other then that it was good.

We go to Tallahassee for the weekend every year for our anniversary and always stay at this hotel. We were to check in on a Friday afternoon. That morning I got a call from a hotel employee named Richard. I had made the mistake of booking a smoking room and he just wanted to make sure that was correct. I told him my husband and I are both allergic to cigarette smoke and he said he would change us to a non-smoking room. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I became ill on Saturday afternoon and was up most of Saturday night. Sunday morning my husband called the front desk and explained this to the clerk and inquired about a late check out which we were given without any extra charge. I was running a fever and wanted to take one of the hotel wash clothes. We offered to pay for it but we were told to take it at no charge. As always other than getting sick, which wasn't the hotels fault, we had a great experience.

Sarah, Richard, Carla, and all of the staff were kind and helpful. It felt like home. We stayed 5 nights in room 203. It had a kitchen-like sink, mini-fridge, and microwave. (Note to the staff: hey guys I meant to tell you that the toilet seat in room 203 wouldn't stay up on its own, but I forgot to. ) Free breakfast from 6:30 (? ) to 9:30. Convenient parking.

I recognize this is a 2-star hotel so there's only so much to expect. The staff was nice when we asked for more soap and towels. The hotel looks nice on the outside but the inside is quite old. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors' muffled voices. And if you have people occupying the room above you and they have heavy steps, you will hear all of that too. There was a variety of selection for breakfast but the quality was so-so. The real concern for us was seeing baby roaches in our room. And the people in 2 other rooms down the hall from us also had roaches in their rooms. True that you get what you pay for, but this place has an infestation and that's completely unacceptable.

Very nice room at a great rate! Disappointed no fitness room, but will definitely stay there again if in Tallahassee.

Good value for a 1 night stay. Staff was nice. Needs to work on adding a little more variety to the breakfast bar.

This okey but the price is expensive for what it is, there are similar hotels in the most economical area.

Small rooms at budget rates. Nothing fancy, but clean and OK for the price. Pet friendly. Breakfast as expected. Had a good night's sleep and on our way the next day.

For the price it is good. Room was small, but is was clean. The staff were very friendly. Only spent 1 night on a comfortable bed. I would stay there again.

The front desk staff (Matt) was VERY friendly and *accommodating. I had difficulty breathing once I was already settled in, due to the MOLD in the bathroom on the walls. Once I turned the air conditioner on and closed the bathroom door, I was able to sleep comfortably. I was too tired to complain, and just needed a bed to sleep in for 6 hours. I stayed in room 314. The bed was comfortable. My biggest issue was the mold on the walls, not good nor healthy!

Very modest, but doable for a night. During the inflow of people coming back into the state due to Irma, a 50 some dollar a night hotel made me scratch my head. They have comfortable beds in modest rooms. They also offered a free breakfast that would save 4 people a minimum of $30. If you need a place to stay for just a night this is the place to go.

Good service. Free breakfast. Pet friendly as well. Wifi here sucks. The rooms need to be cleaner. We found several bugs our first night and someone else hair on our "clean" towels in the bathroom. A good option only if you have no other options.

At the beginning of this week my family and I stayed at microtel inn and were treated horribly. We were traveling from Texas and had needed a pet friendly place to stay due to the fact that our home was demolished by hurricane Harvey. The person working the front desk seemed sympathetic towards our situation and said that they could wave the pet fees for our stay. We had been looking all day for an affordable place to stay and was relieved to finally find one. However, when it was time to check out the woman at the front desk tripped the fees. When I explained the situation and asked about the additional fees she became real nasty with us and told us she had a business to run. I understand that she was just doing her job but at the very least she could have treated us like human beings. If we had known about the pricing we would have chosen a different establishment. Because of this we were unable to pay for a hotel the rest of our trip and had to sleep in the car. We didn't want charity, just honesty and some respect.

Rooms are musty smelling, dust everywhere, we decided to stay because we had been driving 10 plus hours it was after midnight when we got up to room. Breakfast was good. Then as we were packing up a roach as big as thumb (I'm estimating 2 inches in length) he didn't seem to mind us in the room was casually crawling down wall. YIKES! The staff were all friendly And helpful. Will not be staying again!

Very clean and comfortable. Nicer than I had hoped. Good continental breakfast. Very fresh and good coffee n. Friendly stall. We were very tired from running from hurricane Harvey. Slept well and try were great about our dog Molly.

The rooms were comfy, but a little damp. The smell wasnt unpleasant, but slightly stale. But overall was a good stay.

Room is updated and roomy and clean. Beds are ok not horrible, but not the most comfy. Bathroom is a nice size and clean. For the price this couldn't be beat. I have seen complaints that the rooms could be updated but I have no complaints.

Exactly what you would expect from a budget hotel. The room was clean and the staff pleasant. Location-wise there were a number of food options available either walking or driving.

Stopped here on our way to Disney a week ago. It seemed fine as we checked in, but when we returned from eating dinner an hour later our key card would not work. When reporting this to the front desk clerk (the same person that checked us in), she asked if we had kids toys in our room. We asked her how she knew that, and she said she accidentally checked someone else into our room. She assured us that nothing was missing, and no one would have access to our room from then on. While this was going on, a young lady came in with a couple of guys asking them how many days she had been there and telling them that she is supposed to be making 25 dollars an hour. She was cursing loudly and complaining about her "job, " which was not as a staff member of the hotel. As we returned to our room, we saw several other people hanging out in the hall that seemed very sketchy. My family did not feel safe here. It's worth it to go somewhere else and pay a few extra dollars.

I wouldn't even give it 1 star but had to just to leave a review. Checked into hotel last night my husband was woke up by something crawling on him hr got. Up went. To bathroom baby roaches crawling around. Hr turned on light and there were roaches on wall and on my bed I killed the one on bed took to front desk. I have pictures of several more on wall and bathroom and desk. I would definitely spend extra 10 — 20 bucks for a room elsewhere that isnt roach infested.

Reasonably priced, and reasonably clean. The breakfast here is below average, and the sweet older lady that helps in the morning may not be to everyone liking. She is nice but some of us don't know how to think before coffee and prefer not too. It has smoking and nonsmoking rooms which to non smoker's means tolerating cigarette smoke, because it always finds you. Even in a non smoking room.

It's a little away from downtown but not far enough to cause inconvenient. The rooms are spacious and clean the service is prompt and cordial. The breakfast is simple but enough to get your day started.

Bugs in the bathroom and window seal. No microwave. And a very small space to walk aroumd.

I had a very extended stay here due to my apartment not being ready and I still had to finish out the last little bit of the semester in school. I stayed a total of 16 nights with a small dog. One thing I would like to mention is that while I was there I spoke to some of the housekeepers and they were telling me that they would be afraid to go in rooms that they knew had dogs because they weren't sure if the dogs were put away or not. Mine was of course, but I think for the safety of your staff and the dogs it should be mandatory for the dogs to be put in crates if the owner is not in the hotel room. Just a suggestion. For the most part everyone was friendly. I would say that the front desk staff could use a little work especially the main African American girl who is there during the day, it seems like all she ever did was play games on the computer when I came down and she never spoke when I came in the lobby, it was rare for any of them to speak, except for the one girl normally works in the evenings who is pregnant, so they should work on being more friendly to guests. My bathroom had black dots all on the ceiling. I'm guessing it's mold because the last couple of days there my allergies had been acting up and they still are and it's been over a week since I checked out. So I think a deep clean on the rooms is well over due. The housekeepers were all nice and friendly.

We were loyal customer, but no more! They're cleanliness has gone down hill and the "manager" needs a bit of help with customer care. She goes into full attack mode before knowing the situation. We were visiting our child who is attending a location college. She came to see us off (with her dog). Of course, the dog did what dogs do, but the baggies were locked in the car (has an auto lock after stepping away from the car for a finite amount of time — we were in the room retrieving our luggage). By the time we walked out, the "manager" was in my daughters face yelling at her that the dog was recorded on camera, she's not a guest at the hotel and if she didn't clean up the mess, she was calling the police (please, over dog poop! ). We did get the opportunity to explain we are good dog owners, of course we would clean up after the dog but we needed to get the baggies out of the car, etc. It was just a full blown attack from the onset. As we left, we just gave her a happy wave "good bye". There are PLENTY of other options in Tallahassee. She's obviously not happy where she works and needs to find a different profession.

Never stayed the night here but just looking over the pic on the web page. And seeing the nasty trash hanging from the can and nasty towles on the floor I WANT BE STAY HERE NO TIME SOON.

It was a nice place, but the first thing I noticed is there was no mini fridge or microwave. But the Internet was much better than the Wyndham resorts I've been to. The continental breakfast was also good, but I wish they closed it a half hour later.

Worst stay ever, the bed has bed bugs and room was filled with flying insects, when we complained the hotel manager was very rude and arguing with us. no custometer service at all.

Where do I start. This is the definition of a roach, ratchet, filthy, stink hotel. Better to stay and sleep in your vehicle unless you don't mind a roach or two sharing the room with you.

No extra charge for the grime or entertainment fee while listening to the couple the next room over have an all out screaming fight. The carpet, walls and bathroom floor are disgusting. The sheets seemed clean and the breakfast area was clean as well. Breakfast, expect nothing more than sugar coated everything with the exception of some fresh bananas. It was not worth saving a few bucks to stay here. Avoid if possible.

I had stayed here a few months ago and had a great room, so my boyfriend and I were planning a trip and I insisted on staying here. Big mistake! Our room (326) had nothing! No refrigerator, no microwave, no hairdryer, no coffee maker, and to make things worse, the light in the bathroom would not shut off, we had to leave the door closed. Wouldn't ever go back, lots of other choices nearby.

This hotel and the staff SUCK A**. They over charge you for crappy rooms because they know you're from out of town with barely anywhere to go. It smells. The halls and rooms are wreaked with a stale odor. The carpet needs to be replaced. Unclean sheets. Stains on the carpet that could have been cleaned. Unprofessional staff asking for tips at front desk. Rudely tried to miscount in my face, and asked for a tip again, saying, "I could count better if I had a tip. " Knowing that she miss counted on purpose, hoping I was just going to give her more money no questions asked. I will never reside here again, and i'll make it my business to spread the garbage shack they're trying to pass off as a hotel.

In town for a funeral, so price and cleanliness was of course always important. We found our room to be both. Hotel could use some updates but overall, we were both pleased and got great rest. Breakfast was good! The walls seemed a little thin and weird noises from the other room were sort of eerie. Need to stop someplace for rest, this is your place.
