We brought our family here expecting a nice, relaxing vacation. When we got to the Summit and went to our condo, it was nothing like we had asked for upon booking. This was the nastiest place I have ever seen! The rooms were filthy, outdated, and disgusting! They looked like a nasty, cheap motel that rents by the hour. When we spoke with the Summit reservations desk, they FINALLY agreed to refund our money. Three days later this has still not happened. We paid almost $2, 000 for a disgusting room that we could not stay in. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

The room was dirty, the floor was dirty and slippery (on the first day I tried to clean a wet spot in the kitchen and white towel turned black; I don't think they washed the floor at all), stove top didn't work (only one would turn on from time to time), the couch was sticky and the bed sheets felt dirty, pillows smelled like stale water. The bathroom had mold an the ceiling. Also, some one cleaned the coffee maker with bleach, kitchen smelled for about a day. We payed $280 a night, not sure if this is a lot but we've been to cheaper hotels with better service. Needless to say that we will not be coming back.

We stayed in a privately owned room (811) which was recently renovated very nicely to include a washer and dryer. The view was great! Only complaint would be the lack of space in the bathrooms. There are two small pools for children that are great for toddlers! If you have more than one vehicle in your group be prepared for one to have to park in overflow parking across the street. Overall, we had a great time.

Pros: Affordable, easy access to the beach, has a place to cook out and plenty of yard space. The a/c works great. Security is everywhere and they are strict about making sure you have your bracelets on. Dishes and utensils are provided. We stayed in the 1 bedroom queen, 2 bunk beds, and a sofa sleeper room. It had plenty of space to feel separated. It also had 2 bathrooms. Cons: Check in is supposed to be 4pm. We got here at 3:50 and our room was not ready until 6pm. Then the Shower and washer had black mold. The beds were hard as a rock! The pools are rather small for the amount of people here. The security guy feels the need to come across the intercom at 7:30am to ask people not to leave towels on the chairs at the pools, not to hang towels off the balcony, or feed the birds from the balcony. I mean really 7:30 in the morning it blares in all the rooms. Beware they do not clean your rooms or bring you more towels. What you have at check in is all you get. That includes toilet paper. The elevators are horribly slow and stop on every floor. We stopped trying to use them after day one luckily we only had to go to the 2nd floor. Overall, we would probably stay here again. It’s not been a horrible experience for me and my family but we’ve only stayed here at night we’re gone all day. But I would like to see the beds replaced.

I wish I could give this no stars. By far the worst experience I’ve ever had staying at a resort. The security guards were disrespectful and created a hassle instead of a vacation experience. Make sure you read the imaginary rule book of the summit that no one working there could provide. Also, make sure you have your wrist bands and parking pass BEFORE you get to the property, because they won’t let you in to check in. Because that makes zero sense at all. Don’t waste yours or your family’s time people. Do not stay here.

The Summit Condominiums itself was terrible. Lots of drinking and loud music. People were smoking weed and cigarettes everywhere and the smell was so strong you could barely step out on the balcony. The sauna was nasty and stunk so bad we had to all go shower and my 3 year old ended up with A rash. A security guard who thought he was the head honcho kept getting on a loud speaker that blares through all the rooms and making early morning announcements that would wake all of us up. All between 8, 9 and 11 am. Sometimes several announcement would be made, including some evening ones. We have two small children so this was particularly aggravating and It scared our kids every time. The first time it happened we lept up thinking there must be a serious emergency such as fire and we needed to get out. There wasn't. He was announcing that the motorcycles and trailers were parked in the wrong spot. Every announcement was about this. It happened every single morning and drove us crazy. You're also required to have a bracelet that must be kept on your person at all times. They prefer you to wear it so be prepared for a weird tan line. You won't be allowed in the gate without it and sometimes will be given a hard time using the beach access without it as well. The condo room itself was wonderful. Renting from an owner is definitely the way to go as we had all the comforts of home and didn't have to go through the actual resort.

Great place to stay. Best amenities we have found. Unit we were in was very nice and great view. Unit 316.3rd floor and right over the pools. Loved walking over to Spinnakers for lunch which is next door. On premises restaurant has great prices and food is decent. Great beer prices with 1.00 drafts. Beaches are beautiful.

We have not stayed at the Summit but we have visited friends their several times. There are many nice things about the Summit, nice pools, bikini bobs, pool bar etc. This is a mid grade resort stay. If youre not looking for a low budget hotel/resort but can't afford a high scale vacation, the Summit is you're average blue collar vacation place. It is definitely a comfortable place to vacation.

Love it! Best Condominiums around. Been staying there for 20 years. Rooms are clean, updated, fantastic. Very nice. Love the employees. Great prices. Right on the beach. Bikiny Bob's is a fantastic cheap place to eat. The Tiki Hut has great drinks and cheap prices. Every time we come here we never want to leave. Once you stay you will never stay anywhere else again.

Pretty sloppy apartment, not very nice area either, but the pools very well maintained and the view of the beautiful beach.

You get what you pay for. This place needs to update. It wasn't very nice and clean at all. Again you get what you pay for and we had a cheap trip so I guess it was expected. We made the best of it but I probably won't stay here next time.

This place is not state-of-the-art. It's gulf front on one side. You can see the water depending on how high you are. Depending on who you rent from whether it be an owner or from the condominium itself determines how up-to-date your rental will be. Owners tend to keep their rental nicely up-to-date. Nice to say we really enjoyed ourselves. 4 stars because our rental was like new inside.

Great place for a couple or to Carry the family. Clean and quiet. On the beach or hanging out on the balcony is enjoyable and relaxing! Many choices of places to go for fun as well as good eating. Looking forward to going back next year!

Room 731 lacks a lot to be desired! Mold and mildew galore in bathroom. No dehumidifier in condo so condensation accumulated rapidly on everything when balcony door was open for any length of time. The pool area was the best part of the whole place. It was clean and well kept. The Tiki Bar was also a great addition. Bikini Bob's was so-so, just don't order a Long Island Iced Tea unless you like the taste of pine-sol.

Upon arrival I had issues with the room I received, however I spoke with the manager and he quickly resolved the issues. The room stayed in was very spacious, had everything my family needed for a comfortable stay. Also the view of beach from my room was soo beautiful. They have a restaurant, bar, and a small store on the property. There was a nightclub right next door. All staff I encountered were very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay here, and if I come back to Panama I will stay here again.

The condo we stayed in was private owned and rented. It was lovely and a great size. The gift shop had decent prices on drinks. Bar had good prices. They had a great wash station and air pump for floats. The downside was there was a lot of trash in the cans by the beach that should be cleaned faster. It made playing on the playground a bit stinky. Overall though a great place.

We had a wonderful stay at The Summit. I would definitely stay there again. I would definitely recommend it too. The accommodations were perfect. We loved it.

Great beach, pool, and views. Love layout of one bedroom unit. But… feet turn black from dirty floors even after they mopped. Dropped rating. Property is needing some redevelopment.

What a terrible joke! The rooms were filthy! When we arrived after a long drive the 1st thing we did when we got in the room was kick our shoes off. The floors were sticky. The corners of every room were disgusting. There was not 1 time that we were in the room and did not see a bug or bugs crawling around. They had 2 irons, both of which were broken. The dryer didn't work. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty. The hotel scheduled maintenance work for the room directly over ours… not exactly the best way to unwind while on a vacation. The chairs/sofa had stains from who knows what all over them. We drove down after work the night before our reservation and stayed at a cheaper more economical hotel that was in better shape than our room at the summit. It was spacious and had potential to be very nice, but it is not very well maintained at all. Over all it was horrible for the money we spent to stay. We will NOT be going back to The Summit PCB!

The only Reason it gets 2 stars is because of the location and the beautiful view. The staff is rude and not friendly at all especially security. The room 1214 is in desperate need of repair and a deep cleaning. The furniture is so old and the room had a funny smell. The closet door in the bedroom was hanging off of the hinges. The entire building needs updating especially the elevators. We were charged an $85 cleaning fee upon check in, but they don't come to clean until after you check out and obviously they are not doing a good job at it. I would not recommend this place at all.

Good location, but that's it. The room looks like the rooms I used to stay in when I'd go to Bulgaria in the 70s. Nothing worked and every fan sounded like it is grinding to a halt. The first night I had security banging on the door demanding to be let in because the kids were shining flashlights on the beach. I told the "gentleman" that I would not let a cop in without a warrant, and I certainly would not let in some guy with a Pollo shirt and cap claiming to be security.

Location is great and steps to the beach. Lots of good restaurants nearby and it's relatively central to most attractions. That's the positive. Negatives are a longer list. When we arrived we were greeted by quite possibly the most rude front desk, in particular Shannon. They made us feel as if we were a nuisance. There were no luggage carts available and we literally waited on an elevator for over 30 minutes to unload and load our luggage due to their being only four for a giant high-rise condominium. Also with the elevators when they would get to the ground floor they would go all the way to the top then back down instead of picking you up in the order you hit the button which made it take an extremely long time, especially in peak loading and unloading times. Needless to say we took a lot of steps. The building is old and in need of maintenance not to mention the smell of garbage wafting in the air at all times. This place is great for the budget conscious but spend a few extra bucks if you're looking for something nice.

Giving this review only because of how horrible the staff at the front desk were. They said they would call us when our condo was ready, the front desk claimed they called but our voicemail box had not been setup. That is a blatant lie. We had a guaranteed check in at 4, however they made us aware it could be ready beforehand, we didn't mind the wait. We checked back around 2pm to see if it was ready, it wasn't and when my husband asked for reassurance that our condo would be ready by 4pm, the woman responded with "there are no guarantees". I find this to be ridiculous when you are paying for the day. The condo was incredibly clean and spacious and the crowd was wonderful, extremely laid back and definitely kid friendly. The location is great as well. For the amount of money we spent, it was definitely well worth it. Be sure to bring chairs and an umbrella as they charge $30 a day to rent out a set of Lounge chairs. The tiki bar was super fun and the bartender was so accommodating and nice. She was the one person that put our mind at ease from the rest of the grumpy staff members.

The Summit is a great vacation spot. The building is a bit aged & the rooms are a bit messy and could be fixed given some great TLC. The rooms have been renovated technologically with decent-sized TV's. The elevators take forever to get to the rooms but most people are fine with waiting. The pools and equipment are in great shape as well though as a teenager I would recommend getting more arcade games. The building is right by the fun strip so it's definitely great for kids.

After reading other peoples reviews before we stayed here, I had mixed feelings going in. But after staying here a week, I would say it was a good experience. We were staying on the 15th floor, and thought the elevator situation everyone complained about would be horrible. Overall, the elevators were fine. Maybe a couple times they were slow but we were pleased. The security was top notch. You can not get onto the condo property without the wristband they give you which we liked, other than the sweet tan-line I have from it now. We also liked the location of the condo. We could walk to a lot of restaurants and that was a plus. At the end of the day, we would come back and stay here.

Never thought that I would like the huge condo complex, but this was nice. Clean, quiet rooms, on-site diner with good food and drinks. Walking distance to shops, attractions, clubs, restaurants. Relaxing trip. Gate is just for show, they let anyone through while we were there. Find you an attentive owner to rent from, it's worth it.

Me and my family stayed there during Sept 2015 and loved it! There was 6 of us in a 1 bedroom but there was plenty of space. We stayed on the 6th floor, very clean, new appliances and nice cabinets. Everything worked really well, no complaints there. The view was beautiful! Theres an arcade room, a "gym", 2 outside pools and an indoor hot tub which were all very nice/clean. The rooms were not cleaned during the duration of our stay, but this is in the info for The Summit, we had a broom, mop, dish towels, dishwasher, etc. So we could do our own cleaning which we didnt mind. The washer and dryers are located in the parking lot caddy corner the main office. Theres an amazing little restaurant literally right next to the summit, its called Spinnaker, we ate there on our last night and wished we wouldve just went there every night we went out. Overall amazing experience with The Summit Hotel, I will be recommending to anyone I hear going to PCB Florida! Thank you for our great experience!

Great location. Great view. Suites are nicely furnished and ample in size. Amenities are well kept. Would recommend.

Beautiful decorated room with lots of space. Gorgeous view of the Gulf of Mexico with stunning sunsets. Hot tubs and heated pools are great as is the fitness/spa area. Beach is long, white and clean. Love eeverything.
