I needed accommodation while work was being done on my house from damage by Hurricane Michael. My stay at Red Roof for three weeks in January 2020 was like having a home away from home with friendly neighborly people from the front desk to the staff members I had met during my stay. Convenient location, clean and comfortable room with a kitchenette and lower cost than other hotels without much compromise. I highly recommend this hotel.

Such a Nice place to stay at. Very kindly staff, and clean rooms. Loraine who is taking Care of the breakfast in the morning is the sweetest lady. If I need a hotel I Panama City one Day, I Will Pick this one.

A year ago I took shelter from Hurricane Irma here. I had an excellent stay with amazing service. Today I send prayers to you all that you are kept safe from the storm as I was a year ago. God a bless you all ❤️

This is a really nice hotel alllll staff was extremely nice especially kelby he gave us the vip treatment. The hotel and room look exactly like the pictures our rooms were clean and the hotel was clean and safe! I give this 5 star.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The manager Joe was extremely rude, instead of trying to help with my families complaints he instead debated everything that we said. He basically told us that he didn't care if we checked out early because he would just rent the room to someone else. The first room we were in had an extremely strong stench, it smelled of mold/mildew like a wet basement with a hint of urine. The room was extremely humid. They really need to invest in dehumidifiers for better and cleaner air flow. We found a bug on the bed which I believe was a flea. After finding the bug in the bed I opted to sleep in the chair, just for my own sanity. The second room was better, slightly musty, but not nearly as bad as the original room. To help with the smell we even bought a plug in to put in the room, it didn't help much. One night I asked for a new sheet for my bed because there was a stain, again the front desk debated with me on whether or not it was a stain. I would never stay at a red roof again, this experience was terrible.

Everything was nice. Bed was comfortable and it was very clean. The staff was very friendly and Lorraine was very helpful at the coffee station. I will be staying here when we come back! Thank you!

We stayed here last minute after visiting the beach. We decided we did not want to drive back home. We got a great rate, even for a last minute booking, for 3 adults and 2 children. The breakfast bar was great. The room was very clean, staff were very friendly, and the pool was nice. The lady who was in charge of the breakfast area needs a raise because, she was extremely helpful and seemed to sincerely love her job! I will visit here again!

Unfortunately I was unable to stay at this location but Kelby did an awesome job assisting me with an issue I was having when I had to cancel a reservation. He had taken care of the cancellation and provided me with a full refund. He was very polite and proffesional. Awesome customer service!

Stayed over the weekend. Overall enjoyed our stay. Rooms were very spacious and clean. I’m giving them a 3 out of 5 because it was a little smelly. I had to plug in my oil burner. I didn’t like that you could smoke right next to the swimming pool with kids in the pool area. One lady was actually smoking in the pool. Also we checked in at 310pm and room was not ready until 430. Which wasn’t bad because we wanted our room to be as clean as possible. We went swimming while we waited. The staff were friendly. The hotel was about a 20-25 min drive to the beach which isn’t too bad. Great hotel for the price. Will most likely stay again.

Personally, I am on the road a lot. I will go anywhere in the United States to document/cover severe weather. So, I am no stranger to hotels… this hotel has achieved my expectations. Granted, the timing of Alberto was on Memorial Day Weekemd — so, the price for rooms was elevated. But, when you have a passion for severe weather — the price doesn’t bother you. I highly recommend this location… I live in South Carolina — and I can assure you — this place is much nicer than most places in South Carolina.

It's not a bad place to stay We were right next to the pool and arrived back at 9pm to a large group in the pool with a boom box blaring concerned about the noise and when we walked into the room it was quiet. The room was clean, the sheets clean, the refrigerator and microwave were spotless so to conclude, it's not a bad place to stay. We had no issues. Thanks for a great weekend Red Roof Inn.

I was here picking up a friend but from what I saw parking was easy. The lobby was clean and the elevators were pretty nice. The rooms… were REALLY clean, up to date and actually nice. She had been there 2 days. For a local place, I was impressed. I would do a "Staycation" here with my girls.

First of all made reservations a month early, sold my condo and waiting for my military husband to return. When I arrived the parking was big enough to park both truck and trailers. Being a military wife we always have many obstacles to overcome. When checking in the manager had cancelled my eight day stay to make more money since it's spring break. Come on really. I have two dogs, one small and one big dog. They gave me another Room! But the next morning found out they had cancelled 14 others guests room… The waffles where good, biscuits and gravy was great… The staff was nice, the rooms where great. But was floored by he smell of the pot smell that seem to be the air freshener there. Brasen they'd smoke it by the doors, in their rooms, open the big window and blow it out… So if you're looking for dope between the two hotels your sure to find it… Would I ever stay at a red roof inn, Not unless I would have to, don't think all of them are like this… Just in Panama City and the Beach…

Checking out in a few mins and I must say this was a great stay! I was skeptical at first because I’ve always lived in the bigger name hotels but this place was more than I expected. The rooms were a nice size and clean. The house keeping was great. And Mrs. Lorine (the elder lady that did breakfast) made the place feel like home! I love her. I’ll come back for sure!

I had to go to Panama City to take care of my wife while she was in the hospital for unexpected emergency surgery. Mind you, it was the last weekend of summer break, so the hotels were gouging people on rooms. Luckily, this Red Roof Inn worked with me on a price. It wasn't in a very safe part of Panama City. But it was within a couple of miles from the hospital. There was a lot of late night noise in the parking lot. But you know what they say about the things we do for love.

I was worried at first about staying here, it was great, staff was great, very clean, modern, big rooms, very pet friendly… will stay here again!

David was extremely helpful in assisting us with changing our reservation. The room was nice, and affordable. It was not extremely close to the beach, and some of the attractions near the beach, so be aware of this if you book here. Despite that, the price and service were great.

Have a service animal and requested to be away from other pets but was not allowed to. My poor service dog and my son and I never got any rest due to people with pets that have absolutely no respect. Howling, barking, whining all night long. Not too mention the drunk owners loud as hell in the hallway right by the night desk but he couldn't get off his butt to say anything. I had to actually get up and tell people to shut up. Beds were horrible. The whole stay was awful. When I checked out and complained to day staff she wrote everything done and said the manager would call me. Yeah… that never happened. God awful hotel. Do not stay here!

The hotel smelled like a kennel. The first room had fleas or bed bugs I cant tell the difference. The second room the air conditioner was broken so the third room was ok. The exercise room was dirty smelly and equipment in need of repair. Staff was nice. Breakfast was a joke. Would I stay here again Hell no!

Friendly helpful staff. Room was clean. Breakfast included was coffee, juices, pastry and make your own waffles.

Updated rooms & pet friendly. There is a $50 property damage deposit that gets reimbursed after checkout. This should be posted on their website at time of online bookings.

My German Shepherds are two years old. Having stayed at Red Roof Inns for the last two years at various locations. This is absolutely one of the best. Brooke, and David are very accommodating. The staff is very friendly. Air Conditioned rooms, Microwave, Refrigerator, Free Wi-Fi, Cable T. V. 2 sets of fresh towels. Very Clean Facility. Close by Everything. Dog friendly… Awesome.

I'd unwittingly booked this place as I hadn't realised the City was that far from the Beach! But actually as I am a shopaholic it turned out to be situated quite near Panama City Mall which has a Sears and J C Penneys in it which was great! The hotel itself is fairly basic but clean, and suited our needs as it also has a laundrette. Receptionists were helpful and breakfast was adequate.

Won't be back… room Musty, carpet dirty. Smoking was so heavy on my floor. I couldn't hardly stand it!

Terrible! We checked in and took the kids straight to the pool. There were a group of guys outside doing burnouts so bad that it was smoking up the entire pool area and drinking in the parking spots by the pool, when we told the manager he said he didn’t care about that then the group of guys (looked like gang activity) started saying that we were racist and followed us (3 women and 3 children) into the hotel, which made us scared for our safety, the guy at the front desk just rolled his eyes and acted like we were bothering him. We ask for our money back because we were leaving (we were only there maybe 2 hours total) we were told that a manager would have to approve this. We left and went to another hotel. Called the red roof multiple times 3 days in a row never to receive a call from the hotel manager. Terrible terrible terrible!

I frequent Red Roof Inn often … I just wish there was one on the beach, price is right, hotel is immaculate, great rooms, and the best part is that they're pet friendly!

I really love this hotel except for the beds! They are hard as a rock and when you have a bad back & hip, that's not good! The only other thing that aggravated me was when I booked this room I specifically asked for a room away from noise. They put me right behind the breakfast room so therefore I have been up every morning at 6:00! I am not a morning person so… that being said everything else was great! The staff are very nice especially Ms. Lorine! She is so awesome, 85 & still working! Cuddos to you! All in all, a very quiet, clean, relaxing place to stay! I will be back for sure!

This place is pretty crappy, but I guess it's what we get for the price. The rooms smells like smoke even though it's a no smoke room. The house keeping looks like they don't care. The only good thing is the waffles. Well I hope they're good.

I stayed here two years ago with some friends. Absolutely no problems. Great service. Yesterday I called to reserve a room for next weekend and the two women I talked to at the front desk were very snotty and were also somewhat judgmental. They should really work on their people skills.

Good hotel good price nice people. In a decent spot Plenty of places to eat around without much travel. Only con rooms not as big as pics make it out to be.

Pros: Receptionist is friendly and accomodating. Room is nice, clean and spacious. Cons: breakfast is a joke (my commented), our room wasn't prepared when we arrive. So they changed our room.

Very clean. Well maintained. Smells great in the room. They allow pets and smokers, so I can tell. But barely. Nice small breakfast offered. Only problem are the staff… not the friendliest.

We were there for 3 days and couldn't have had a better experience. Since we were traveling with our four legged baby and it being Pet Friendly it was Wonderful. Our room was nice and clean

Hotel Red OOF dirty rooms big but smelly first staining in Soazio cramped without sifficienti to sit Nin I recommend it.

Hotel room was cleaned and appeared to have been remodeled. My room had a mini fridge (no freezer) and ironing board, hair dryer, and TV. There is a swimming pool and free Wi-Fi. There is also a free breakfast that has cereal, pastries, coffee, juice and a waffle maker. My only gripes were that the Wi-Fi was spotty if it worked at all. There was also a spot in the floor in front of the bathroom that felt like there was a broken board or hole beneath the carpet.

It is an excellent stay with a great atmosphere. The best part about the environment is the hospitality given by the staff. We will most definitely visit again!

Our first stay here this past week/weekend. Very clean an very friendly staff as well. Checked on us to see if we needed anything extra. As well as very reasonable prices I would say affordable. Pet friendly is a plus. Everywhere else wanted so much extra. An had a weight limit. Thank you :)

Room was clean but expected more out of a superior king room according to their online description of the room. Ac in room was nice and cold. Staff was nice. Weird smell in 1st floor hallway. Elevator was very noisy. The springs in the bed would creek and pop when get on or off bed. Overall feeling was friendly but odd.

The pictures mustve been taken when this place was first built. The room smells! Dont even think about washing your clothes! The washers don't work. The agitator inside never moves. I asked Tiffany, the receptionist to call the manger so we could get a refund and go to another hotel. After her response, I came to the conclusion that our clothes wasn't important enough to wake him up. Don't be fool by the pictures.

We usually stay at the resort when we come in Florida for vacation. Since we would only be here to sleep we decided to just get a normal hotel room. This was the biggest mistake ever! We walked in our room. It smelled like something was wet. I went to shower and noticed there wasn't any soap. After arriving back from our day of fun, we decided to wash our clothes. Who wants to travel with dirty clothes? The washers are out dated. One had a sign on it saying out of order. I used the other one. The agitator that washes your clothes was not spinning. I barely had any clothes in the washer. It did not even spin the water out my clothes. The bald headed man, Bill had a nonchalant attitude when we told him about our experience. Therefore, we grabbed our clothes and went searching for a laundry mat. They were all closed. We arrived back at the Red Roof Inn and decided to go back to the office. Tiffany was there with Bill this time. She was very sassy after I asked for the managers information. She claimed she didn't have it. I told her so you mean to tell me if you have any issues that need his attention, you cant call. She said only for an emergency but for clothes no! (Once clothes are wet they will smell bad or mold). We bEgan to walk away. Tiffany said what room are y'all in? We told her. We had to go outside and ring the water out of our clothes. Once we finished, we tried to go back inside and noticed Tiffany cancelled our cards smh.

I stayed for spring break and it was very affordable! Great customer service very nice staff! 2nd year and will continue to stay here :)

Big CLEAN rooms. Friendly staff. Close to hospital, stores, and restaurant. Breakfast could be better, but the kitchenette in my room was impressive with a stove top and full size fridge.

Our stay here had been excellent. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful. We will be staying here for our trips here.

Best deal on this side of the bridge. Clean rooms, nice beds. Decent Wi-Fi. The breakfast is small… Waffles, cereal, and pastries. They allow pets and have smoking rooms. Pool is ok My only dislike is the staff. Customer service is mediocre and cleaning crew in the morning is pushy about getting in to clean your room.

This location has large and spacious room. The room are very clean and the staff are friendly. However I gave it a three star because the breakfast area is tiny. While I was at this location many of the guess had to take their breakfast back to their rooms. This is because there was not enough space for them to sit and eat. The breakfast consist of lots of pastries and dry cereal. There were no protein such as eggs or sausage. The only type of fruit was bananas.

The rooms were spacious and I like that but, the breakfast area was small and the Wi-Fi was horrible.

My main complaint is that we have two dogs and they charged us for the second dog. On their website, I did not see anywhere that stated there was a charge for more than one dog. Within a couple of blocks is a La Quinta, just as nice, and about the same price that does not charge for a second pet. I complained when we checked in, and still was charged. Not a good policy for a pet friendly motel. That is why I gave them a lower rating. We just got back and this time we stayed at La Quinta, Very satisfied there. We will not stay there again.

Aside from being a little far, this is a great hotel. Quiet area — security camera presence known. Nice, helpful staff. Great rates. This is our second year staying here during a trip to PC beach and although our room wasn't as clean as it was last year we still had a great time! Would stay here again.

I always try to stay at a Red Roof Inn whenever I travel. They are generally clean and a good value. This one was outstanding. Spotlessly clean, spacious room, comfortable bed, and a great breakfast. The staff were all very pleasant, and you could tell that they cared about representing Red Roof in a positive manner. I look forward to my next visit to Panama City, and will stay here again.

Red Roof Inn has become my favored hotel chain the rooms are clean and the price is right. We stayed at the Panama City hotel and they were great, the front desk people tried to help with any questions and Jay always greeted me by name, the room was clean and the location was good. We will stay there again.

We went to Florida for a wedding, and stayed two nights. The room was clean, the staff was nice, it was relatively close to the beach and restaurants. My only complaint might be that with 2 cell phones, 2 cameras, 2 laptops and a tablet, there could be more outlets — — we had to charge in shifts. I highly recommend this Red Roof inn location and would gladly stay there again.

Our family makes a trip once a year to Panama City every summer to go out on the Capt. Anderson. We always make reservations ahead of time due to us being a large group (typically around 14-20 of us). We even called earlier in the day before we arrived to let the desk know what time our arrival was going to be, they assured us that our rooms would be ready. We arrived at 2:30pm. They put all of the family on the 3rd. Floor; however, they stuck us on the 2nd. Floor, so we felt like the lone rangers. We were given our key so we went to our room; the maid was still cleaning the room and was going to make us wait in the hallway with our baggage in hand. My sister-in-law is disabled and on a cane and she needed to sit down. We told the housekeeper and she finally let us in the room so my sister-in-law could sit down. One of our other family members on the 3rd. Floor had a 2 hour wait before they got him a room ready. My sister-in-law is very cold natured so I called down to the front desk to ask for an extra blanket and they informed me they didn’t have any extra blankets because they had a full house, I believe this to be total B. S. As big as this hotel is and they don’t have an extra blanket for an older disabled individual? Also as big as this hotel is they only have 1 elevator and it acts like it doesn’t want to work half the time.
