Room 607-4 At Long Beach Resort, hosted by Emerald Coast Destination, water in floor upon checking in also strong smell of mold and mildew. Called 2 times no response. After going to security they also called. At 9:55 David with HOA came, said he had been here a week prior, same issue. By this time after attempting to keep water retained with no luck, water is now in electrical box in floor. David found issue it was AC leaking. So now we have no AC and electricity is turned of in living area, due to hazard. Still no response from owners or vrbo rentals. However David has came back to check on us. Along with leaks. There’s bucket set under AC units to catch water leaks as well as in the bathroom. There is visible mold on base of kitchen cabinets. Having to paying $3, 160 including fees and taxes I expect better than this. I wish I could post pictures!

Our stay in Long Beach Resort was nothing but disappointment from the minute we checked in! We stayed in Tower 2 Room 904 through Resort Collection. We started trying to check in at 3:00 after a long 10 hour drive down. The front desk at Long Beach is closed for renovations so we were originally told to check in at Edgewater Beach Resort down the road but on the way down we received a call saying we need to check in on the app so that’s what we was going to do. We tried checking in on the app multiple times and calling to check to see if our room was ready between 3:00-6:00, around 6:00 we had gotten so frustrated with the situation that we decided to go to the front desk at Edgewater Beach Resort to see if we could figure out the problem. We was told there was a electrical issue that was a “liability” that had been broken for a WEEK already and maintenance had to fix it before we could check in. We told the gentleman at the front desk that we needed in the unit and we couldn’t wait all evening. He agreed to let us in but little did we know that was only the start of our problems. We finally get in the room that we paid $2, 500.00 for a week stay and find that the windows in the bedrooms are so fogged up that you can’t see out of them, like they had never been cleaned before. The couch was ripped, TV remotes don’t work, doors are rusted, and overall the place is very poorly taken care of.
