Stayed here this past week. This place is very clean and located centrally. The staff is great and also very accommodating. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

We have been coming here for a couple years and it is steadily on the decline, the electric outlets don't work properly things won't even stay plugged into them like my phone and tablet. I turned on the bathroom light and the spark came from the other side where the outlet is by the sink. The furniture this chair and ottoman need to be cleaned or better yet replaced, there's stains of what I hope to be food, all over it. All night long there was a horrendous noise coming from some pipes or something somewhere that I couldn't get any sleep. And yes, there are roaches here… The pool is nice and clean we usually have it to ourselves the staff is nice but whoever is in charge of the upkeep of it, they're not doing their job properly.

I think the Rodeway Inn Panama City hotel was an exquisite place. The rooms had a flat screen television, two queen size beds, a bathroom, and you could order pizza straight from the phone. Would recommend staying there.

This was the worst hotel I ever experienced. If you are used 4-5 star hotels DO NOT STAY HERE. It is very over price for the quality and condition of the room. The staff is rude, the breakfast is horrible & there is no seating area for breakfast, the rooms are molded, the environment is horrible, the bathrooms are very small.

Decent place to stay! The free Wi-Fi came in handy to get homework done throughout our stay. Free coffee. The only cons during our stay consists of a faulty wall outlet, and seeing a couple of roaches. 3 stars!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Great ppl at the front desk and great employees. Definitely recommend this place! We will stay here again for sure!

Superb for a Rodeway Inn or any hotel of this caliber. Super clean rooms, all 3 staff members were overly friendly and very helpful. Would return for sure if needed.

Leaving now 5-7-2018 I would recommend this place to anyone! Very clean. The beds are amazing. And no bugs, trust me I looked! The people working there were super nice! And the pool was so clean! We will be staying there again! Also we did have to pay a 40 dollar deposit but we didnt break anything, didnt have anyone else stay, and didnt steal anything. We got it right back no problem! They even gave us an extra 30 mins on check out because we woke up late!

So last night I decided to take my wife out to a hotel I wanted to do something special for her so I looked around at price and I booked us at the microtel in Panama City Florida worst mistake ever it looks all fancy on the picture so I got us a room and we checked in the room was dirty so I went down and got switched to another room this one was a little better but still dirty sunflower seeds everywhere dirty towels stuff all over the couch, cigarettes inn the pullout bed … a few months before we stayed at the rodeway inn it was 60 for the room very clean and the manager there she was very nice understood we were locals and just needed a break. It was so peaceful my daughter loved the room the bed was very comfortable, one of the best night sleeps I had in a while. So needless to say price isn’t everything we paid 140 for the microtel and it was horrible so from now on when we need a break the Rodeway inn is our new spot. I will definitely be recommending the Rodeway inn to everyone I know. Thank you.

Rooms were clean and the free breakfast was surprisingly good. Also great pricing during spring break when everything else is overpriced.

ZERO STARS — DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel was so run down that we didn’t even want to stay there but couldn’t get out of the reservation so we did anyways. First off, we had to leave a $100 cash deposit which is fine, however they never mentioned that so we had to run down the road to an atm. No big deal. However, when we got back to check in he asked for our ID’s then after seeing I was sixteen & was only with my sister (who is over eighteen and my legal guardian) they said we couldn’t stay in the hotel. I said that was fine and politely asked if we could go ahead and get a refund then, which they denied! So not only did we have to go somewhere else to have a place to stay on our vacation, they still charged us. Beyond the absolutely disgusting exterior and rickety locks, the staff was incredibly rude as he smirked saying we couldn’t stay & they will do everything they can to rip you off!

The rooms are accurate to the picture. However they con people out of their security deposit. They charged $75 and said we’d get it when we checked out. We didn’t break anything or damage the room. The reason they kept the deposit is because we had a friend come over. They fell asleep and stayed the night. When we checked out they watched us on a camera and said they would not give us back our money since we had an extra guest for a night. So if you stay here expect to spend an extra $75.

The property is newly renovated with really good Wi-Fi and the management is extremely kind and helpful!

I would give this hotel five stars if it wasn't for the Inn Keepers sour additudes. The morning of are scheduled departure, not unwillingly we had a late night enjoying the Beautiful Panama City sites. Wish we could have stayed a month. We where kinda dragging our tails getting everyone motivated, For our 600 mile trip home to Tennessee our check out time was approaching Fast, Faster than we where getting everything loaded. Seeing this I thought, The responsible thing to do so that the Rodeway Inn keepers, & Cleaners, Where properly notified, we would be occupying our room no more than 30min past our scheduled check out time. I'd like too Think No Bigg Deal But the Very rude Desk clerk answering the phone acted like I was in the wrong. For trying to inform him of a slite time error. So with that said. I went back to the room literally in a panic! Trying to Hurry everything getting loaded. Before the short tempered rude Desk Clerk decides to charge my card for an extra day anyway. I thought we were home free as I grab the last bag I see there is to load. Do one more last sweep check around the room that nothing was forgotten. Glancing down at my watch I see that we have made up some time lost. Becsase its say's were right at 15min. Past our scheduled check out. But be for I make my swift exit out the hotel door. My path is tanited, Blocking my way out stands a house keeper at our door who I guessing had entirely way too much Coffey!

Excellent service and well put up rooms. For some reason my room booking got jumbled up due to time zone difference I believe and I ended up reaching to the hotel a day after my booking. The manager was quite helpful and let me book a room for the night and refunded my previous night's booking error. The room was neatly made and Direct TV with almost all channels, that was welcoming. Would stay there again if passing through the panhandle again.

Location of the motel is good, but our experience was bad. One of the beds had bloody stains, the shower knob kept falling off, the hair dryer was very dirty and didn't work. The walls in the breakfast area were covered in stains and a very visible lump of hair was laying on the floor that nobody bothered to clean up.

Great place I stay here a couple times a year got here tonight young man behind the counter was very helpful and polite went out of his way to help me and make sure my stay was great thank you.

Room was great for my coworker and I. Had a flat screen TV with basic Direct TV I believe. Carpets were clean, the shower had two settings, hot and scalding hot. Pool was clean and so was the parking lot. We stayed two nights. On the morning of check out I took advantage of their free breakfast and it was pretty darn good, cereal and waffles. The dining area was small yet quiet, I was the only one. My only complaint was that they put us next door to a man that they had said had been there for a little while and as soon as we parked and started getting unloaded we received a call from the front desk saying that we had to move our vehicle to give him room to access his vehicle in the handicap spot which was parked right on the line. Then our last night since we had a first floor non smoking room we week at outside to smoke and check our laundry, granted it was 4am, he was waiting at his door with it wide open said that we were being too loud. I then went to get change for the dryer and as soon as I approach the office the night clerk comes out threatening me saying that he's received three complaints about us yelling outside, which we barely talked at all while smoking, and that he was about to throw us off the property. I pleaded with him and then he refused to give me change and told me quote, "I don't want to see you out of your room for the rest of the night".

Air conditioning not too strong. Took all day before room would cool down. Clean and quiet for the most part.

Very nice. Beds are comfy. Good breakfast. Clean.

Decent hotel for the price. Only 10 minutes to the beach and breakfast is pretty good as well AND it is free! Breakfast consists of yogurt, 2 choices of cereal, coffee, tea, a wafflemaker, bisquet and gravy, apples. Rooms are clean but a little dates as well as the bathroom. Again food deal for your buck and hotel staff was super friendly and accommodating and made me feel welcome!

Was easy to get to, 15 minutes from the beach. Pretty clean, and they still had rooms open on a Saturday night in August!

This is a nice place to stay if you're on a budget. Affordable and I found the service to be very good. The breakfast bar was a surprise with a waffle maker and biscuits and gravy. Could only suggest offering water and hot chocolate. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The beds, however, need a MAJOR upgrade, hard as a rock. I would recommend Rodeway Inn to someone traveling through Panama City.

I received the typical treatment of disrespect, lack of customer service, and arrogance from America's new breed of hotelier which I believe is based solely on a unsubstantiated biased towards African Americans. I was scheduled to stay at the establishment for a week. During that time my peace and tranquilty was interrupted by loud hammering and drilling below my room. I called managment and was told they had to install a door below. My concern was if you knew you would be hammering and drilling why did you give me a room directly above. I suffered the first incident. A day and a half later, the drilling moved to directly outside my window. I called and asked why I was not shown the respect of letting me know again that repairs had to be done outside my door and possibly an offer of another room in the less than full capacity hotel or give me an opportunity to make other arrangements as I needed to use the internet for a webinar. I was treated with total disregard and disdain mainly because it surprised the hotel owner that I had a viable solution which involved respecting me as a paying customer. Shame on you for your racist response and lack of customer service. Do not judge a book by its cover. AFRICAN AMERICANS are not welcomed at hotels owned by the new breed of hotel owners ONLY your money. This was evident in the response and racial remarks I encountered in my interaction. They do not feel they owe you respect or any type of consideration.

Very friendly and helpful owners. Memory foam beds. Pet friendly. Breakfast. Super clean.

Classic motel look with clean, renovated interior. Manager was friendly and the night guy is professional, with more than enough chat lol. Affordable, clean, and relatively close to the beach. Def recommend.

The staff at Roadway was so helpful and kind. We were in an unexpected situation to find a hotel room during a busy holiday weekend, and Roadway Inn delivered. The rooms were clean and comfortable with new carpet, bedding and paint. We were very grateful to have found this hotel and the staff there was extremely professional and friendly. A great place to stay as you are traveling.

This was the worst experience ever. The front desk was rude, disrespectful, and we paid way too much for a one star hotel. This is also a "smoke free" hotel but our room reeked of cigarette smoke and our blankets had cigarettes holes everywhere in them. I do not suggest this hotel for anyone with a brain. You're better off sleeping in your car for free.

Clean and general basic feature hotel room. Has a pool, it's a step up in quality over the majority of the competition.

Loved it here! The prices are reasonable. The staff is amazing & Nero, The manager is a very friendly person! The room was cleaned & Housekeeping came in everyday to tidy up a bit once we left… Breakfast consisted of biscuits&Gravy, Waffles, Fruit, Yogurt, Toast, Raisin/Banana bread, Cereal, Oatmeal etc. Just your normal quick breakfast. This hotel was amazing! The manager, Nero, was so incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make sure that we were happy with our stay. The breakfast was okay, if you are just grabbing something before heading out. The pool was wonderful and warm the whole time. The prices were extremely reasonable. We cant wait to return!

We stayed in room 124 for 2 nights. Rooms were nice and clean and staff was extremely nice and helpful. Nice pool. Breakfast was ok just ran of food really quick.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a clean, nice room, low rates, and great customer service… I stayed at this hotel and my stay was great. Anytime I come back to PC This will be my hotel choice.

Nice place to stay if you are not one of those people that has to have 'everything! ' I stay here during Thunder Beach Rally and it suits my needs just fine. Wonderful breakfast bar and friendly staff make this a place to stay if you're on a budget. Thumbs up!

If I could give it a zero, I would. Not only is customer service terrible, they rip you off too. When I called to confirm my service, the woman I spoke to told me that everything checked out and just to bring my ID and the debit card I used as proof it was me. When I got there, however, there was a big man with a terrible attitude there and demanded that we pay a $75 deposit to ensure nothing happened. I thought it was weird that no one mentioned this deposit when I booked the room or the lady I spoke to, but if I didn't pay the deposit, I couldn't get my money back for the room either so we paid it. Then, the man said that if we had anybody but us going into the room, they would charge an additional $400 dollars! For a normal hotel, you don't pay per person, you pay for the room! He then proceeded to try to grab my arm to put the hotel wristband on, and when I wouldn't let him touch my arm, he started cussing me out! I let my friend put it on and we walked out. The hotel room was nice, but we really only slept there since we were gone all night. It was cold, but to get extra blankets, you have to pay an additional amount (wtf? ). When we were checking out, a different man sent someone in to inspect the room before he, gave us our deposit back! He then told me that because my hair dye leaked onto the pillowcase I would be charged $30 because he was so sure it wouldn't come out!

I stayed here very recently with my girlfriend. The Staff was very nice, the bed and pillows were amazing, and the room itself smelled and looked clean when we went in. It was a little way from the beach but the bed really made up for that, and when you are spending time at the beach all you really want out of a hotel is a nice place to sleep, right? This was definitely it.

It was cheap and just a bit far from the beaches. The front staff was not professional in appearances. I feel that how they present themselves to guest depends on how they dress also. However the clean ladies were super sweet and nice. Love them. One thing for sure that caught my attention was the shower curtains had molds growing on them! I think they need to focus more on guest attention and cleanness. you pay what you get… it was cheap.
