The staff here are amazing and extremely courteous… especially the night staff… the best southern charm hospitality ever… it is so peaceful here, the dog park is an open area that is like a little park right on the property, if you need anything, the staff are more than generous and helpful. The rooms are very spacious, very clean. They have free Wi-Fi, HBO, and other general basic cable, their is a bar and grill — the bar staff are awesome women, there is also ice machines and vending on site. There is a McDonald's across the street and next to it is a Whattaburger and there are also 2 gas stations on the corners. All within walking distance and their is a crosswalk with a button to stop traffic. The outdoor pool is clean and good sized. They are also pet-friendly hotel that allows cats and dogs — an important factor for me seeing I was traveling with 2 6-month-old kittens. There is also a Walmart and other stores and food places just a mile give or take down the road. It may be a hotel overlooked because of not being on the beach or only 5 mind from it, but it is nearby like only 30 or 45 mins away from the beaches… Believe me when I say that it is worth staying here if you like peacefulness, great hospitality, and less crowds. This is one of the absolute best places I have ever chosen to stay! Great location, excellent staff, and amenities. I highly recommend with the highest regards to staying at this hotel! I love it here!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were great but the girl taking orders in the mini restaurant was horrible. She never even acknowledged that we were there, so we left. The pool and outside areas were very clean until a few people that was staying there put their chairs right outside the pool gate and partied all night and left a pile of cigarette butts and McDonald's trash.

I recommend yes and no service was good but the pool was green the TV some of the channels didn’t work or volume did not work.

During the hurricane my coworker and I were treated excellent. And we found the hidden gym within the hotel. Ricardo Roman is the chef in the crossroads restaurant here and he helped feed my crew every day for two weeks. He continually cranked up the hits. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you all and we hope to visit again in the near future. Hats off to you Mr. Raymond for a job well done. You constantly went exceedingly above and never once did you complain. Take a bow!

We wanted a place with pool for our teenagers the pool was green algae covered sides so no swimming even tho I paid over 100 dollars for less than 12 hours there was told pool man had just cleaned it and I’d wager to say health department would have closed it was told by employee a child got sick few days previous from swimming in it was very disappointed glad our trip for remainder to Florida was wonderful won’t stay at best western again.

Great Hotel in a great location. 30 minutes from the Santa Rosa beach area. Which is also beautiful btw. My check-in was fast and everyone behind the counter (everyone) were kind and attentive. We arrived late and hungry so we thought we were settling on hotel food. However, the food was absolutely delicious! Priced right to! Everyone From the front desk — housekeeping — restaurant servers, was kind and professional! They all made very good eye contact. And the price was reasonable. I will definitely stay there again. See you guys next year!

Our family stayed at this hotel for our reunion. They supplied us with a conference room so we could all meet together several times during the weekend. The free breakfast was delicious. The rooms were nice… we enjoyed our visit.

This Best Western is conveniently located off Interstate 10 and Highway 331 in Florida's Panhandle. There are a lot of fast food restaurants, a national retail drug store, and a grocery store as well as a big box retailer nearby. Our room at Best Western Crossroads Inn was clean, the beds were comfortable and the Internet was fast and reliable. We always look forward to staying here because it feels like home away from home.

It was nice but I was in room 109 we kept hearing bang though the day and night.

The check in was really good. The two ladies there were very helpful and it felt like a friendly place from the start. The room was a little dated but it had everything I needed and was clean so no problem there. The Reception lady in the morning for check out was also very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was in truth a bit disappointing. No bacon, the pancake machine was old and unreliable, but the biggest surprise and disappointment was the complete lack of a toaster. I asked but just got the reply no. I’ve never been in a hotel where they don’t have a toaster at breakfast so that was my only criticism of the hotel.

Stayed here for an evening on our trip. It was very nice, clean, and friendly staff. When I walked into the room it was very nice and smelled CLEAN! Breakfast was good! The pool was great! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

I love the Best Western. My proudest job was the Best Western Americana Inn in St Cloud Minnesota. It's just the same. I feel all those Souls around me. Meaning I see everybody we work so hard together and we considered Our Best Western. Outstanding establishment. The best staff ever. The best food ever. The best pool ever. I can't say enough good things! come on down we have the light on for you. But I hope I don't lose my room. Lol just kidding. I was taught to share appropriately.

We made a quick stop at Destin on our way to Siesta Key and needed to get some rest to continue our travels. I gave them a call to ask if they had rooms available and sure enough they did. Price was good, room was clean. For our short stay I would say it was well worth it.

Good snacks in the vending machine, comfy beds, good tv, people there were awesome. We had karoke one night which was amazing. Breakfast sucks though, real bad.

This facility was a wonderful surprise after a long day of driving! Everything has been recently renovated and it is clean and comfortable. We parked right outside our room and also had a door leading to the hallway. Breakfast was not your typical buffet, but cooked to order. They had some items out to grab and go if you wish. My husband and I travel a lot and have stayed in many styles and comforts. This place is better than a $300 room at Disney!

My stay here was great. The room was clean and neat, bed was soft, and the 2nd door that exited from the room to the interior of the hotel versus the exterior door was very convenient. The only complaint I have is the front lobby and breakfast area had an extremely sticky floor and I did mention this to the staff but it was shrugged off. Other than that my stay was great…

We stayed there 3-31-18 to 4-1-18 after reserving the rooms a month in advance. When we arrived we realized they don't have any blankets on the beds except for a super thin hospital blanket, we were so disappointed. We asked the front desk for extra blankets and they said we could only have 1 per room even though we had 2 bed. So, if you plan to stay make sure you bring your own blankets. We will stay at another hotel in that area next time for that reason. The "free hot breakfast" is either very small portion of eggs and a sausage or biscuit and gravy but you can't have both. They regulate what you are allowed to eat. Just so you know in case you like to eat a bigger breakfast. They don't have an elevator. The pool was the only nice thing about the stay. Even, when they come to clean your room they ask you to hand them the towels and trash they won't enter the room and clean the toilets or anything. I've never seen a hotel run like this… Just figured I would let others know the cons cause if we had known, would've chose differently for our needs.

I hope my business takes me through Defuniak Springs again. I loved the hotel and the idea of an outside door. (and an inside one). Room was clean and my only complaint was need more plugs. =)

I had a great experience The food at dinner was awesome. These folks being in the country, know how to cook, serve and be friendly. Nice stay over all. Loud because it's right by the interstate. The free breakfast isn't traditional continental style, you order from a menu of 3 or 4 items. Not the greatest BW I've staid in but definitly not a horrible hotel.

Great hotel off Route 10 in Florida. We stayed both coming and going on our way from New Orleans to Fort Myers. The hotel had a nice restaurant with a limited but very good menu. It also offered a free prepared breakfast in the morning (not your usual buffet). This was an older hotel but the rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Two door entrances into the room. There is a free breakfast but it's not self serve. You have to seat yourself and a waiter will take your order (it's free). There's no closet but there is a place to hang your clothes. The only problem I saw was that the ceiling in the bathroom would moisturize and start dripping if you took a got shower.

Nice, clean hotel. Great breakfast including made-to-order omelettes included. Happy to stay there again.

One of the most down home hotels that I stay at in my travels for business and pleasure. The hotel staff are always very friendly and the rooms are nice.

Wife and I stayed here from Fri 6/30/2017 through Wed 7/5/2017 over 4th of July weekend because we decided to leave last minute to Santa Rosa Beach and had no plans or reservations so this was the most convenient available thing we could find on short notice because everything on the beach was booked. Drive from hotel to beaches was quick (approx 20-25 min) and scenic taking us over the bay bridge. Hotel was a outstanding value, comfortable, clean, friendly, provided me generous military discount and everything was very nice. Outstanding value and overall experience! Highly recommend! The place was decent and staff was friendly but we have stayed at best western 4 different times in the past four months 2 in dec and 2 in this week and have yet to receive the 10 dollar gift card they promised.

Rude front desk staff named Alice; took over 45 mins to check into my room at 12AM! didn't get to my room til 12:47am and to top it off she put my boyfriend and myself in a smoking room when my reservation specifically asked for a non smoking room. She was very rude when getting my information, I went to my car to grab my credit car and told her she can help the older woman waiting to check in since she was standing there for a few minutes, as I walked back up, she was super polite and friendly to the older woman. Got her settled in and she went on her way. As she started to assist me again, her demeanor and everything changed again. I didn't want to think it was a race thing bc I am black, and herself and the older woman were white, but after thinking more into it, I honestly think it was a race thing. I probably would not stay at this location again.

Basic, very clean hotel, yes, but a stellar staff! From our warm welcome at check in to a breakfast service done with care to cleaning staff who engage in polite conversation, we had a nice stay. Clearly a culture of customer service is encouraged and embraced by all.

Pet-friendly to large dogs with easy room access to large grass areas for pet. Clean (but a bit stuffy), good air conditioning, friendly staff and a great, free, sit-down breakfast (remember to tip your waitress! They're very nice)

This is my go to stop when driving back from FL. Great hospitality, clean rooms and that's only a tiny portion. The staff actually cares about your well being and happiness. This will always be my go to stop when driving to and from S. Florida!

Very nice hotel. I felt as I had discovered a hidden jewel. Affordable price. Big truck parking, nice rooms, onsite Restaurant and Lounge Bar. At Restaurant you can order and go back to your room and they would call you at room to let you know is ready. Seriously, this people make you feel not wanting to leave. Breakfast is free and served by servers on the Restaurant. Friendly staff. Thumbs up for this jewel!

Helen at the front desk is AMAZING! She makes you feel right at home. The house keeping staff makes sure you have everything you need and provide friendly service. Very pleased with my stay. I stay in hotels throughout the week and this is probably one of the nicest sub $100 a night hotels I've stayed in. My room was on the bottom floor near the pool and although it could be loud if kids were there it wasn't a big deal. Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Wifi was easy and fast. On site restaurant which I visited twice. The breakfast was included with the stay and I was very happy with it. Not your typical free hotel breakfast. I dealt with Thomas on checkin who was very easy to work with and very friendly. Overall I was pleased with my stay and would come back any time. For less than $100 a night on a Friday I was very impressed.

Manager/Owner was not accommodating when our moving van broke down and we could not make it to the hotel that night. Charged us a full room rate. After such poor customer service, he lost our business. We used the hotel while traveling back and forth from FL to LA because they allow pets. Hotel accommodations are average but definitely not great enough to overlook poor customer service.
