Nice clean hotel. I never stayed at a best western before cuz i’ve known them to be a run down hotel. I was skeptical abt booking it but I was pleasantly surprised when I got there. It’s newly renovated modern looking hotel. The first and best western plus hotel i’ve stayed at. Rooms were very clean. The staff were very attentive and friendly. And it was pet friendly, I was able to bring my girl with me. If I come back to that area I will definitely be staying again. It’s convenient location to Bal Harbour beaches if u don’t want that super expensive beach hotel. Only 15mins from across the bridge, straight shot from the hotel.

We were quoted one price and they doubled it when we checked in. We even had a written confirmation and they didn’t care. Beware. We talked to others there and they had the same problem.

Beware of the parking attendant he leaves the back door open to let strangers in for a price. His name is Sammy. He tried to extort money from a friend of mine so I had to go down stairs and get my friends money back. He then began to insult me by saying to me I need to go back where I came from. He’s a racist bigot and is mentally unstable. He lurks between cars between the hours of 8 till askin you the most perverted and personal questions. If you have kids or are a women please be careful!

Overall the hotel was very nice and we enjoyed meeting Marla who served us breakfast. The room we stayed in felt a little humid and wet and it was hard to get completely comfortable in the room. That's the only reason I would give it a 4 star. Even considered giving a 3 star but the customer service made up for it!

I stayed at the Best Western Inn for one night and was there for work. The stay wasn’t anything out of the ordinary, until I went to leave. I found out that during the night, my truck was broken into and almost stolen, until the individuals were said to hop the fence. Ever since the break in, my truck has not been running properly and most likely I will need a new transmission. The truck never had any issues in the past and is very well kept. Also, “if” there were any kind of problems, I wouldn’t have taken the chance of driving it 200+ miles away from home where it would then break down and need a tow. I went to the front desk and they said that they do not do anything for that scenario, not even an incident report. I tried to get the supervisors phone number, so I can reach out, but they refused. I even suggested for them to put more lights in the parking lot and apply more cameras, but again the front desk didnt bother to care. Do not stay at this hotel. It’s in a terrible area and even the police said that they get calls for break ins in that lot all the time.

I visited this hotel on July 31 arrived around 1;45 am from New Jersey. After 22 hours by car I expected a smooth check in and sleep. Well unfortunate it was not. The front desk clerk was pretty rude, my card was double charged, which my bank Chase blocked my card. I was asked my ethnicity, why? clueless. My sons were so tired as well as me the only driver. I ended using a ATM and paid only 1 night, which originally was suppose to be 4 nights. The room was not very clean and the rugs smelly. I am Best Western Rewards member and this is my first bad experience. We usually stay at The Best Western On the Bay Marina, but was sold out. I gave it a 3 stars because on my way to Florida we hit a very bad storm entering Florida on I95 South, I called the hotel to make sure my reservation won't be cancelled due to late check in, I spoke to Joana the nicest Front desk clerk, she was sweet and understood my urgency. But when arrived I met a different clerk, not kind. Well on my check out I got to meet Joana and she resolve my problem with my reservation and explained about my refund, since I stayed less than planned. I also met Mercy who was kind enough to help me log on the computer and find another hotel. Thank you Joana and Mercy, hope one day to return and have a good stay.

I stay here every time I work in this area. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms always clean. The restaurant there is excellent. The sweet lady who runs it provides great food and service. Would definitely recommend and will certainly stay again.

I normally don't write reviews but what I experienced at this Best Western called for a review. The customer service was better than I have witnessed at hotels I have stayed at throughout Florida and Georgia. WE came in last minute due to an clerical error at our resort and we found this hotel to stay at. The location is secure, staff is VERY friendly and the rooms were clean as expected. Everything was great but my only complaint was the pool hours. It would've been nice to take a dip but sadly, it closed at 8pm. Keep up the good work! 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND.

The staff was amazing. The service unmatched. Also they are very family friendly. The restaurant attached to the hotel was well presented. It was nice and clean and the food was good. The server/cook, she was amazing! Overall I had a very good experience, my family and I will definitely be staying at this Best Western when we come back to Miami this July.

Joana and Iris made my stay delightful. Bar and restaurant need a better menu selection. You get a better rate if you book at least sixty days in advance. Good location.

This was a great hotel. I was a little nervous about, but it ended up being a great hotel. Very convenient location directly across from a shopping center and a few restaurants. When I called to let them know I will be checking in late (11pm), the front desk attendant (her name begins with a T) was very nice and polite. She provided me with great customer service. Once we checked into our room and shortly after she called the room to make sure everything was okay. Our bathroom had not been cleaned, so she immediately (I mean within 5 minutes) changed our room. She came up with new keys and checked the room before we switched. She apologized, but she provided such great customer service it was no probably at all. We used room service and the food was okay, but the older lady running the kitchen was great, very sweet older lady. The next day we ate in the dining area and our food was better (garlic Parmesan wings delicious), she was very attentive and friendly. Great location, customer service, and nice rooms.

Very nice hotel. You can see it's an older building but they did an awesome job renovating and keeping it up. I'm a frequent traveler and very picky about hotels. Front desk was really friendly, there is a bar and a cafe in the facilities. Breakfast at the cafe was really good, 10x better what it would be across the street on a chain restaurant — and very affordable. This one won't disappoint you.

Hotel Super located in the Byscaine, Bnos surroundings, sure I will return for the great service.

The staff here is an absolute delight. Very personable and courteous. I travel all over North America and try to stay in Best Western's is at all possible. This location however, is one that I can't wait to come back to. The rooms are in the process of being renovated and have had the opportunity to see the changes over time. The new rooms are very comfortable and bathrooms have been completely overhauled. I strongly recommend this Best Western if not for the rooms for the highly proficient staff. Thanks guys.

Came down to cruise with Carnival. Staff was very friendly and room accommodations were nice. No complaints and yes, I would stay here again!

The photos are a little better than it is… Although overall it's not bad the rooms are big and with all the comforts the staff are very helpful, there are indoor pool gym and bar so if you can get it at a good price like we did we arse Olutamente recommended.

Submitting my review early and I don’t check out until 2 days from now but that’s how nice this hotel is. First off I didn’t have a reservation but Jennifer the supervisor who is very beautiful, nice and sweet was able to book me for 3 nights with a king bed and was also able to check in at 12 instead of 3pm. It was around 9am at this time and she let us have fun at the pool and took our bags while waiting. I really loved the staff also everyone was vibrant and kept a smile all day! The room is a decent size but very CLEAN! I’m big on cleanliness so I loved it and the damn bed feels amazing oh and the shower never runs out of water either if you like it hot or cold! And it’s near a lot of food places and just places in general so if your looking to have a good time BOOK IT! Highly recommend from a picky person so listen to me lol.

This can't happen in a hotel. You have to know this story. We were staying with my family in 2 rooms, and one night we arrived at the hotel, in one of the rooms there was a lot of clutter, clothes and objects lying around on the floor. Stole two suitcases full, with high-value items and two passports with visas of the united States. We called the Police, it was learned that a man entered the room while the house keeper was doing the cleaning, apparently posing as the host. In the cameras saw leaving the man with suitcases walking through the parking lot. The losses have been considerable: a computer mac book air, two-camera photo, a Iphone X brand new, brand name clothing, and, most seriously, two passports with visas. The two days we had a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale and this trip is affected because 3 people were not able to aborar the cruise, due to the loss of visas. Pay 6.500 dollars for the cruise. Had to arrange passports of emergency at the consulate of Colombia (300 dollars), additional is generated extra costs of car rental, lodging and meals. Who is going to answer for the material damages, as well as for moral damage, the anguish you had to endure all my family? We dreamed about these family holidays. The Hotel says that it is NOT responsible for any losses in the rooms didn't even have safety deposit boxes in the same.

Good hotel for the price on offer we paid… everything ok except a probable water leak at the hallway to the carpet floor which made sure for all 4 GG There was a mildew smell outside the rooms and still inside it all seemed a bit humid… Co Way the bed… air conditioning on the floor… our room with balcony and blind bathroom with bathtub… There is a parking available to the hotel and around all the classic American markets (home spots, dress for less… etc. ) … downstairs small Little Pool Frequented with gym, laundry, ice machine and ditributor drinks and snacks… In general I would give a 7.5

Always clean in the room & all the public areas. The staff was nice & very helpful. The little restaurant had an excellent breakfast. The pool served it's purpose to cool in the heat of the day. There was a fenced in parking area & was in walking distance to many restaurants & stores. It is right across the street from Johnson and Wales campus.

It is a nice hotel its rooms are nice comfortable it is a hotel that conforms to the economic need of the traveler is in a good location excellent and the service is very good it is close to the beach about 15 miles and you can get through the being Vice of public transport through taxis.

NOT Worth the price. pros: Staff is very nice! Cons: Old rooms need updating, carpet smells, they spray air freshener to cover old carpet smell. It is very disappointing, not vacation hotel. You can find a better room at the Marriott. Best western is not a trusted brand.

Location, location, location! I find it extremely convenient to be so close to my seminar, especially with a Whole Foods within walking distance for quick & easy meals after a long day! I appreciate the parking lot security, especially with the early hours I keep. Staff has always been top-notch, friendly & super accommodating! That's why I'm a repeat customer :) Suggestion: update mattresses, or flip 'em (last couple have had a bit of a "sink hole" feel, specifically nightstand side).

For the second time we chose this hotel again, for good location and the room is comfortable. Friendly staff and very good service at all.

It's been a good stay. The hotel has very good facilities and the staff attends in an excellent way with efficiency and efficiency. The only regret of the hotel is the Restaurant which as I understand is not direct from the hotel, they provide a service (I think) but they should take action because with little budget you can do a lot. The smell is disgusting, it looks untidy and its food the truth is that it is the last option, I felt that everything tasted like butter or oil and I repeat the atmosphere is very sloppy for what keeps the line of the hotel. Definitely have to devote attention because this is very important in a hotel: the food and a bar or recreation place to meet and Converse… i. Or I could meet there, went out with clothes badly foul to fry or the smell is unpleasant as such of the RESTAURANT! Now the Hotel is spotless and smells great, it is very comfortable indeed!

Very basic hotel with thorough upgrades called for. Swimming pool doesn't look very clean. Bathroom size is quite small. Though bed sheets and towels are clean. Good part is they have free parking which is one of the primary reason for me to book this hotel.

It's small, no breakfast, the rooms are tiny, and overpriced. I stayed oceanfront, with a balcony, huge room, cheaper, than this place on a Tuesday… They charge 160.00. Marco polo resort on the beach with valet, and balcony, on the beach, full kitchen, and resort fee was only 125… Do not go here they are rude, and ridiculously priced. 99 dollars over the weekend but 160 on a Tuesday. And they have roaches…

This was a very enjoyable stay, especially since we slept late and enjoyed getting the needed rest. The hotel is close to shops, Walgreens, and eateries which made it very convenient. The location is also superb since it was in close proximity to where we needed to be. Friendly and competent staff that made us feel welcome and ensured that our departure was on time with the taxi service.

I chose this hotel to stay in because it was in close proximity to Barry University. Little did I know that I'd find comfort, privacy, and cleanliness all in one at this hotel. My daughters loved it & so did I. The night we checked in, the lobby restaurant didn't have what we wanted… just as easy-breezy, we ran across the street to Denny's. The only thing I regretted was not taking a swim in the pool. I'll be back for that though… when I go & visit my daughter at her University.

Everything is great! Staffs are very very friendly! Very clean! The best part is no odor at all like a lot of others! My wife and I are big fans! The only little thing is the internet, we couldn't connect to it, but we had to get up early, so it didn't bother us a bit! So we are happily rating them 5 stars! Keep up the good work!

The room was clean and I liked the clean remote holder. What I did not like was that the workout room hours are too late and the staff made a physical hard copy of my credit card and ID. In addition the hotel is by a busy intersection, thus difficult to sleep if you go to bed early. Other than that if you want an overnight stay, it is sufficient. I love the location to various stores.

Staff was very nice and courteous. Would have given 5 stars if I had known the lobby was under construction prior to my stay. Cannot comment on the onsite restaurant as I didn't eat there. Very clean room and comfy beds. Nice balcony overlooking the pool area. Pool area was very nice and pool looked clean although I didn't have time to indulge.

Very nice Hotel. For us the entrance was in construction so we were made to go through a service door, but it does not spoil anything. Nice and quiet pool. The rooms are spacious and functional. Their home products in the bathroom are top: massage soap!

Cute and cozy, clean, with a swimming pool. It is located a 10-minute taxi ride from Bal Harbour shops next to the sea.

I am here right now. My reservation was incorrect even though I contacted them several times and said yes it was correct. I even paid an "upcharge to have a balcony". When I asked for it to be corrected staff they were rude and said they will just let me check out. Now I'm at pool about to get in and there is clumps of hair in bottom and doesn't look like it has been cleaned in days! Very disappointed!

This was an amazing place to stay! I stayed here for a month (for work) and it wasnt far from work or the beach I was able to skateboard to the surf side (beach). The pool was nice and the rooms were clean, the staff was very nice and all of my belongings were very secure. I had my Xbox one PC and about 3k in other things in the hotel room and didnt have to worry about it being stolen. The front desk staff was amazing Pete, Tiffany, Chani and the rest of their staff try their best to make you feel really welcome. I highly Highly recommend this place, and the price wasn't that bad.

I recently stayed here for the weekend to go to the beach with my family. Though the staff were all very welcoming and friendly the room was another story. When we arrived at our check in time the room was not ready and we were told we would have to wait at least 30 minutes. This was no big deal however the room when it was ready felt like a sauna. The A/C was running but was blowing warm muggy air. The service guy did come to fix it but all he did was change the filter. All night the beds felt damp and we were all sweating eventhoigh the A/C was set to 59 degrees. The pool was warm but needed a cleaning, I would not recommend this location based on the price and what we ended up with. The location compared to the beach was a plus though, and it also offered free parking which is not typical for Miami hotels.

Ive never had any problems there ive been there and each time my family comes down I always send them there I booked them in there then we go to our favorite spot dennys or steves pizza.

The rooms, dining, and pool is excellent. There are shopping and Dining near by. Beach location is approximately 5 to 10 minutes away depending traffic. Bal Harbor shopping location; North Miami Beach.

There's tiny roaches in some of the rooms, no breakfast, there was loud talking all night that keptme up, I complained about it and nothing was done.

Basic, full, small, and well located in a commercial area. It has parking, which sum in Miami.

We found a used condom and its wrapper under the chair in our room. The front desk assistant came up right away and seemed generally concerned which is why they got a 2 star. But the next morning when we were checking out the manager said sorry and there isn't anything he is going to do about it! Also right when we got off the elevator on our floor the whole hallway smelt like marijuana if I had my kids with me I would have left immediately! Totally not worth the money!

I was there with my husband and son about 2yr and two months we enjoyed every thing my son loved the pool along with his dad. He also made friends at the hotel. The rooms were well kept. The maid were well mannered. I would recommend this place to any one I will be coming back pretty soon with my family.

Clean rooms, great food in restaurant, friendly staff, comfortable beds. Forget the negative comments… Best place to stay for the price in North Miami.

I booked a handicap-accessible room at this place through Priceline. When we arrived, the place was easy for parking and looked nice. However, our room was not handicap accessible. When I returned to the desk, the clerk said Priceline does not forward details of room requests to them. They gave us another room, which was really easy to get to and beautifully accommodating for someone in a wheelchair. The roll-in shower was great. The beds were comfortable. We had to call the desk again because the remote provided with the TV didn't have any way of turning on closed captioning. But the desk clerk came and remedied that situation herself. The restaurant's menus only showed breakfast and lunch, even though they served dinner. The chef/manager gave us a verbal run-down of what he was offering that night, and offered to make pretty much anything we wanted. One of our meals was his red snapper special that night, which was great, and the other was pancakes, which were also great. He talked us into trying his key lime pie, but it tasted like lime-flavored fudge. The chef/manager asked if we were from the apartment complex that had burned down next door, like another family eating there that night. Apparently the hotel owner was providing rooms and food for the displaced families. We didn't qualify for that freebee or discount. Overall, the place was working out some bugs, but they were really friendly and we were comfortable.

I had a reservation for 8/21/13 but upon arrival learned phone, internet, cable, and elevator were not functioning. Front desk representative, Viesther, kindly called another Best Western and secured my reservation there. Received my credit from Orbitz within 3 days. My only experience with this hotel was Viesther and she was very personable and kind. I would consider staying here in the future as it is centrally located and based on the pictures, the decor is comparable to other Best Westerns.

I stayed in hotel 8/15/13-8/17/13 with my husband and kids. A few things I didn't like: 1-Lots of little ants on TV counter and desk area. 2-Elevator was shaking when you would go up or down felt unsafe and the other elevator was broken. 3-Rude housekeeping staff. 4-Remote wasn't working one whole day had to wait until next morning to receive a new one. 5-Not enough toiletries in bathroom enough for one stay. 6-Musty smell in hallways. 7-Rude front desk staff. For the price of stay I believe the hotel should be better and offer better quality service.

Bottom Line. It's a fine hotel. Wish breakfast was free though :/.

Nothing fancy but it gets the job done for a one or two night stay.

It is very good, it has everything I need, is very well located, is in a commercial area (to front this Ross, Burger K. Radioshak, Gamestop, Fedex Officce, a market and other local mas) and above all, the attention of Pete, Hedy and others is perfect.

This is a very average hotel. I paid around $130/night. It's where you would stay if you're visiting nearby. It's not a luxury tourist hotel on (or really near) the beach. There's a nice pool. Good breakfast at the hotel (inexpensive, but not free) There is good TV. Free Wi-Fi. There are some nice restaraunts in the area. My fav is Little Havana, 4 blocks north.

Horrible customer service. Rude, clueless workers. Shady neighborhood of Miami. Never felt safe. Shady people staying and working at the hotel. Very poor water pressure. Would NOT stay there ever again and would NOT recommend.

It was all great!
Here you can wash clothes which however per part 2, 50-3, $50 will cost. The rooms were clean. Hand and bath towels were changed daily.
The pool was a highlight.
