Awesome great food friendly staff.
Nice renovated rooms. Bathrooms are a little small. Very nice staff.
Nice and friendly atmosphere.
Flight came in early, they checked us in as soon as they could. It wasn’t right away but it was about 2 hours prior to initial check in. Very clean rooms, close by bayside market and downtown Miami. Friendly staff and great location.
This hotel makes people outside feel at home: there are delicious meals here, a warm home-like environment here, and the thoughtful and complete all-weather service, if I have the opportunity, I will come back here.
Great staffGreat location.
Worst hotel and service. Loud parties and nothing done about it.
Excellent recommend for everyone.
I actually hate this hotel. Good location but nothing good about the hotel itself. My room has a loud hvac in it, but it’s stuffy if it’s turned off. The rooms are tiny. The restrooms are tinier. There are only two elevators and take forever. The restaurant kinda sucks. They had one girl trying to work the whole restaurant/bar area and she did her best but was set up for failure. The food was nothing special, our celery sticks were brown on edges and had dirt on them. Basically they just took really flattering photos of the hotel to get you here but it leaves a lot to be desired when you’re actually here.
Staff very helpful and nice.
We checked in 3/17 decided to pay the $50 early check in fee. On top of that there were all.
Kinds of added in resort fees that were added on when we got there that were not disclosed when booking. We got to our room and it smelled musty and dirty. The hallways weren’t vacuumed neither was the room. The mirrors were dirty, sink and bath tub looked as if someone just showered. All together just a really gross room. We were switched to a new room that was clean and smelled a lot better, but still hallways to that floor weren’t vacuumed. I guess no one believes in vacuuming. Considering COVID these days you would think you’d be getting the highest level of sanitary conditions. That is not the case at all. No one came to clean our room the 4 days we were there, even though we didn’t have a door hangar telling them to not disturb. The pictures are very deceiving. Too expensive of a hotel, too many hidden fees, no customer service, dirty, for the price you have to pay. Elevators are horrible. And the noise is ridiculous from other customers, doors slamming all night. Wouldn’t come back.
$20 “amenity fee” when you check in on top of your booking fee that isn’t disclosed before booking. Parking is $25 a night and is 2 whole blocks away. Very inconvenient and added fees make it not worth it.
Great bar service and friendly staff.
Excellent hotel with an excellent view of the city of Miami.
Very small A/C very loud but super view.
Nice room great view but bathroom is very small.
Not the fanciest hotel, not the Best service apart from the luggage porter.
All I did was tell im getting an upgrade and 5 floors up and I was there! Excellent service, Indeed! Im wishing to return for my BIRTHDAY WEEKEND, the 22 of May.
They gave us a complimentary room upgrade with a nice view. We really appreciated the free drink and bar area too. It was a good place to stay before leaving for a cruise!
Thank you Ivy I can have my dogie with my great people excellent Cuban restaurant.
Rooms suck way too small find another place. Not helpful at all.
Great location, great bar staff.
Location to everything clean room and staff very friendly.
Beautiful room! The view is incredible, as well!
Hotel was great for our night before stay. The ports were 5 minutes away by car. In walking distance there was plenty of stores and restaurants!
Everyone who helped me was super friendly and service-oriented. They made my stay the best possible, room was very clean, the bed was comfy and the hot water was great. Good location. I will be returning.
The employees at the front desk were very nice and helpful and the location was perfect!
I stayed at YVE pre cruise. I liked the decor of the hotel. Had a European flair to it. The staff was professional and polite and very helpful. I did think my bathroom was a little small but hey, it was only for one night. I would definitely stay again.
Want to thank the hotel manager Mia for everything. You really made this a great stay with all your hospitality. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Oh thanks for breakfast it was great.
Amazing service! A very clean and tidy room, big comfy bed, wonderful amenities and much more! I would definitely stay here again! ❤️
Yes, very nice stay. I would recommend. Quiet rooms and friendly staff.
Small bathroom … awesome view — clean and very hip place!
The first thing I noticed was the fresh smell of the hotel and cleaness. Great room and the restaurant's wings and fries were delicious. The hotel also gave us a complimentary drink in the bar. A+ rating.
Located in a great area… food was fantastic drinks awesome clean rooms… made my stay memorable thank you YVE hotel.
Great price for a downtown hotel. Good service. Amazing bar. And the must firendly and helpful staff. I want to go back and my spacil someone with me next time. Vary hip and romantic hotel.
Not bad at all.
We spent in august 130 dollars breakfast not included. Wifi fast. Room small bad window looking inside the building, but nice bed and nice bathroom. It's close to the main pier if you have a cruise. Nearby lot of restaurants. For 1-3 nights it's fine.
Very nice Hotel, service was incredible! Our room has this espectacular view. Definitely a place to stay every time I come visit Miami!
Booked a stay there… After an Emergency landing, I was very very late for my check in. Phoned them from Denver where we touched down, told them I wouldn't be there until the next morning. Asked if we could negotiate a half day rate just so I could catch a shower and relax until I had to go to the cruise Terminal. They were very accommodating, allowed me to stay until an agreed upon time free of charge. It was definitely a bright spot on my travel from SEA-MIA. I'll definitely be back.
I understand why now it has mediocre reviews. First, the hotels ran very small. The bathrooms were so small, I could barely move around. Second, for a “family” room, two regular sized people can’t hardly fit on what was advertised as “queen sized” beds (I have a queen sized bed, and that definitely was not it). And lastly, service is extremely slow. I asked for more fresh towels and washcloths, only to receive them two hours later, and that was only because I had to remind them that we still never received them. I only gave it two stars because it was clean and the view was nice (but that’s all you’re paying for, to be honest).
We had a pleasant stay at Yve. We had a bigger room, so our bathroom was normal size. The room was clean and very modern/minimalist looking, which we like. The location was perfect, walking distance to Bayside and local cafes around as well. It does not have a pool, but for a one night stay, thats no big deal for me. They do charge an amenity fee, and that gives you two waters in the room, two welcome cocktails and access to gym. I might me missing something. I found that for the price, you can’t beat it. Every hotel on this strip is more expensive. We were satisfied with what we got, for the price we paid!
My wife and I have been having a wonderful time here. The service has been phenomenal. Even though the services come at a premium price, you really do get great quality out of it. I think what made the trip worth it to me was how quiet it was, the quality of the food, and the service. If you stay here I would highly recommend splurging and eating at Salt at least once. This restaurant offers fine dining that is loosely themed around the fine salts you can season your food with. The wait staff is extremely friendly and willing to take their time to explain everything.
Spent 1 night at YVE Miami recently. Room was clean, roomy, nice size and good size bathroom. Accommodating to requests. Breakfast buffet was good, BEWARE OF WAITRESS! She quoted us a different price than what was on the menu, I assumed the reason was tax plus drink. NO! She added her own tip, a party of 3, and did absolutely nothing for us. We did get the " tip" removed. Also. No parking. We parked beside the hotel for $25, after already paying $15 at Bayside Market, AND if you leave in your car and come back its another $25. The parking was my only issue. Otherwise great hotel.
Modern and large rooms with a hip feel. Loved that their was water already waiting in the room, however you do have to pay an amenities fee which kind of blows. We booked the room using a 3rd party which hepped us save though. Parking was expensive $28 for the night since we were in the heart of downtown. Probably would only stay here again if I was doing more downtown on vacation.
Pretty cool boutique hotel in a great location. Very good customer service. We got a reasonable rate for the quality of the hotel and the location. Edit: After two weeks, I can say this hotel was one of the highlights of our South Florida/Bahamas vacation. Especially because the Bayside Marketplace is directly across the street and that place is such a fun experience itself. Can't wait to go back to Miami and I will stay at YVE again.
BJR Yve hotel. I regret my stay with you. Party for a cruise from February 3 to 10. I opted for a stay with you 2 nights before 2 nights after. Everything was paid in advance. The I find myself taken from 267 euros on my CB. And by asking for reimbursement you don't want to. I didn't understand your answer at all. We were a group of 18. Everything was paid with the travel agency Telmo. Why did you charge the account of 3 couples and not the others? There's something not clear. Why did you repay a couple and not the other two.
This hotel was alright. A bit over priced for what you get. The receptionist was more interested looking at a half naked girl in the lobby, while checking us into the hotel. The elevator takes a while for it to get you. The room looks nice at a first glance, although our window had a view of a wall outside. The bathroom is the point of no return. There is just no space at all! I took a piss and my backside was literally touching the sink. The tub was a bit slippery and the shower curtain was missing the inside layer. Lastly the A/C was rather loud and keep waking us up all night long. Everything in this hotel was small besides the price. I will not be returning to this hotel. We just stayed one night for a concert so it was bareable but if you need to stay longer I suggest you look for another hotel.
Pretty cool boutique hotel in a great location. Very good customer service. We got a reasonable rate for the quality of the hotel and the location.
Great location room a bit small but very comfy beds. Front desk staff very sweet and always willing to answer any question. Check out in can be a bit out of cpntrol, give yourself a good head start.
Clean room, comfortable bed, Nice modern decor. Bathroom extremely small, room not very spacious either, and there are no dressers in the room. Personally I dont use the dressers most of the time anyway but this was bothersome for my partner. Not much interaction with hotel staff but the little I did have was rather pleasant.
This hotel was very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful (especially Marcela at front desk). The food was good. Lobby was nice. Location is central in Miami. Rooms were clean.
Clean rooms, one elevator available, good location, breakfast on site expensive.
Good location. Friendly service. Room was VERY small and not clean at all. The carpet was sticky, there was a huge gap in the door to our room, there was yelling and slamming of doors all night long. No view. Took almost 45 minutes to get our car from valet (we were the only ones waiting). Great potential, but the opportunity is not being taken advantage of. We won't be back : (
The most lousy hotel I have ever lived in where spending one night became a nightmare experience. We were moved to this hotel by Holiday Inn Port of Miami where we had booked a double king deluxe room but due to some overbooking problem they moved us to Yve saying we would be provided an equivalent good room there. The room 316 which was allocated was a horrible dingy cell with no windows, no view, no leg room. Upon our request to move us to a better room even if they were to charge us more, they refused. The reception staff was impolite and discourteous. The room charges were to be adjusted by Holiday Inn people, but still these Yve guys charged an amenity fee, and for that they swiped my credit card for a higher amount to take care of other expenses if any. We moved out early next morning and they said the balance amount shall be credited to my card in 3-5 days. It’s two weeks and that amount is still pending. There’s no response to umpteen voicemail messages left for the GM.
It's true what they say about the elevator, it's really a problem, lots of minutes waiting for it, we knew it but we still preferred the superior rooms to avoid street noises. The rest all very well. Location.
If I could leave a Zero I would! Terrible hotel and super basic! No pool … but charges an amenity fee which the only amenities is a gym and a mediocre restaurant. I could understand not having a pool in a hotel in New York but no pool in the hotel in Miami… like what the heck. Whoever designed this hotel had it all wrong, complete fail! Oh and very cheaply built. The smallest bathroom I have ever encountered. The bathrooms on a cruise ship are bigger than theirs. The website does not reflect the correct photos for the room choice that you book. Very misleading they show one standard bathroom photo for all room choices online and then you arrive and it’s like surprise! I can’t stress how ridiculous the bathroom size was. 2 people cannot stand in the bathroom at the same time. You can barely turn around in the bathroom without hitting the toilet or sink. My 5 year old son even struggled from the lack of space. If you drop something in the bathroom you can’t even bend over in there to pick it up. You have to walk out and then try to get it from the outside, not to mention the door doesn’t even stay open so you have to constantly hold it if you don’t want to be trapped in the crevice of a “bathroom”. Unacceptable! There are only 2 elevators that take forever to come up and down. Then you’re told that there is a $50 deposit which isn’t really a deposit because you have no choice but to valet park and that’s $35 plus tax on top of the amenity fee so your actually paying more.

Very close to the arena and bayside but very uncomfortable stay not to mention over priced and not worth the money. You are better off booking the Holiday inn a few blocks down.
Room was nice, drinks very over price and surprise what looks like continental breakfast is not. It is a room with food and no body at door no servers then once you get your plate they send a man out of hiding and it's 20 bucks per person. So 100 for 5 of us and food was not much more then potatoes, egfa bacon and pastries. Would never come back.
I would rate 4* because I wasn't much impressed by the town itself and the location; there wasn't too much going on around there from a tourist prospective; might be it was just us, but I wouldn’t return to the town as a visitor. The hotel is ok, I wouldn't say great. I would be interested in staying there only for business being in the hearth of Miami as the rate, compared to other hotels in the same quality rage, was absolutely a great one. The staff at the reception and the people at the tourist desk were very welcoming and willing to help: thank you Silvia and his colleague (cannot recall his name, so sorry). The room was too small (half of the room was occupied by this GIGANTIC King Size bed …. Do not understand by an European point of view, why not have a regular size double and have rather more space to move around), and our suitcases needed to be left on the floor. Yet we had a nice view of Miami skyline from the window. Bathroom size for skinny people only. Excellent Air-Cond. Good Wi-Fi. Nice to have a safe. At the end, I would stay at this hotel once again but not to visit Miami as a tourist. I would choose another place rather.
Very good location to the bayside market and the cruise ships.
Worse with the new management. I stayed for work twice, old andnew management. I preferred it when it was Hotel B2 … now he's not as well-groomed as he used to! I won't come back.
This 15-story hotel is the only one of the 1920s that stands in the middle of the Biscayne Boulevard skyscrapers. An icon. Formerly known as Miami COLONIAL and previously Hotel Watson (original name) where I stayed three times with my parents in the years 60. Remodeled several times it is still a great three star hotel. Very central and in front of the Bayshore Park.
Good hotel, sooo downtown, have a good.
The rooms are not top.
A big negative point for elevators. It takes a very long time especially during the housekeeping done in the morning by the employees (they monopolize a lift on 2) and the departures/arrivals of the customers. Hell!
Positive: The proximity of the hotel to South Beach and shops is appreciable.
The hotel does not provide parking, so you must valet your car — which is fine. Upon dropping off the car, they advised us that it would take about 10 minutes to get the car once we requested it. Again, no problem with that. The next morning, after requesting our car, it took over 100 minutes to receive it from the hotel valet. I understand that it could take a few minutes to get the car, but 100 minutes is unacceptable. Seriously, this is an excruciating amount of time to stand on the curb as we realized that our window to catch our flight was closing. I had planned to leave for the airport 2 1/2 hours before the plane took off. Because of the delay, we got our car less than an hour before takeoff. Miami International is just too big to get to the gate that quickly. We missed our flight, had to sit the airport for 8 hours, and pay fees for a new flight. I asked management about the car multiple times and they kept saying that the car was on the way. They were well aware that their delay was going to make us miss our flight as I reiterated this multiple times. I also asked for my keys and they refused. There were many other people equally frustrated and their plans were ruined as well. Everything else was acceptable, unfortunately, this ruined our trip.
Great stay over New Year's Eve. Awesome staff at restaurant! Nice and affordable room. Great location in walking distance to the arena, stores and restaurants. Short Uber ride to South Beach. Would stay again.
Very small, good location very very expensive.
Expensive for what they offer. Very simple room. Not very good deal. Without parking, there is only valet service or valet Carisimo and nefarious.
We loved the hotel, everythinggreat! Thank your Gema Javier for the service. We Willcome back but there is no fridge or microwave in the room and there is no parking space in the hotel. Check out when there is a TV fee, even mineral water also charges (not clear before) there is no swimming pool, said.
Ideal location for sightseeing in Miami. It's in the down town near the Bayside Market. Comfortable rooms with nice beds.
Tiny room for the price, things in the room were not working and we had to call maintenance. They said they would come but no one came for hours so we had to call again. There were long lines for the elevator but you can only take the stairs down, not up, so we spent forever waiting for elevators even though we only needed to go up two flights of stairs. No exhaust fan in the tiniest bathroom I'd ever seen (my 6'4" husband sitting on the toilet could touch the sink with his knees! ) and the bathroom door automatically swings shut, so it was muggy in there several hours after taking a shower. I 100% would rather have stayed at the Holiday Inn a few doors down.
Decent beer selection. Good is okay. I very much like coming here before a Heat game as it is usually not too crowded and service is quick and friendly.
Many years ago this hotel must have been the most in Miami. Nowadays it is sad the old of all the facilities, especially the rooms. The staff is great, especially in the restaurant Pure Verde. By the way, the food in that restaurant is great. Remainder penalty.
Overpriced and dirty. Upon arrival you will find out there is a $42 fee a day to park your car. They held another $100 deposit when I got there and when I went to check out the lady at the front desk claims I owe an additional daily resort fee of $60, so total for two nights $202 additional on top of the $400 I already spent when I booked it! Absurd! Over $600 for two nights. They try to squeeze every penny out of you. Breakfast is $20 per person and it is not worth a fraction of that. Rooms have no amenities like refrigerators or anything. My room was dirty and had a weird smell. Stay somewhere else you will regret booking a room here.
Location is good, view was nice, rooms are tiny but clean, bathroom was even smaller than the bathroom on our cruise-ship, no pool, very expensive breakfast. The wait for the elevators in the morning was almost 30 minutes to get down from the 15th floor because they were always full. I'd have taken the stairs if I didn't have a lot of suitcases. I gave 3 stars still because I don't know how it compares to other Miami hotels in this area for the price. In the end it did the job for 1 night before a cruise for us, it may or may not be good for longer vacations depending on what else is available.
You can tell that they try to keep it clean but it needs some repairs. When we walked in to our room our carpet was dirty and has an old smell to it. The staff was some what friendly but I didn't feel welcomed. My fiance and I booked a king size for a night hoping for some space but the rooms are so tiny and the bathrooms are worse. The only mirror is in the bathroom and it's very small. The toilet is almost touching the sink and the shower. We are only staying here for the Heats game since it's nearby before we go to the fountain blue the next day for my birthday. Will not be staying here again.
Right Hotel to spend the nights. Clean and minimalist rooms, but very small.
I didn't really like this hotel for the price I had. And we wanted to collect extra money from what we had hired in Booking, we had to discuss it with them.
Perfect location to American Airlines Arena. We walked to our concert, and the police were out to help with traffic. It felt very safe, and was great for a mom and kid alone. The price was great and breakfast was included in our deal. The breakfast was fantastic. My only concern was at checkout, the valet driver smashed my front right tire into the curb HARD and was laughing when he climbed out, not noticing I was right in the door super angry. He had no respect for my vehicle or how much it would cost me to get my rim fixed and a new tire to replace the broken belts in the one he rammed into the curb. It was $300! He should be fired! Think twice about using valet, but, the hotel itself was very nice.
I would stay here again if there was nothing available. Clean yes. Dingy. Yes. It was a experience that was mediocre. People were kinda friendly. I didn't feel truly welcomed. It did it's his. Ground the prominent location here in Miami I am so happy to be apart of the wonder city.
Very nice in front of the port, in a very smart location to visit Miami.
Clean and good location, fair price/performance. Breakfast could have been a little better, but it was all right.
We are staying at this hotel because we have a cruise. The lobby smell and so do the hallways. We got to our room and instead of a savvy double, we got a savvy king. We had to go downstairs and wait 15 minutes to get help from the gentalmen because he was alone. After all trouble we finally got to our proper room. The rooms do not look like the pictures on their website and the bathrooms are extremely small. On top of the hotel and fees you also have to pay for parking and cant even go to your car by your self. I find that really sketchy. Price is $35.00 per night. I do not suggest you stay at this hotel unless the last one left. More updates in the morning during check out.
I just needed a room for the evening. The rate was fine and the amenities we're adequate for my needs. The bathroom is a bit cramped but gets the job done. This place feels like an old building that has been recently refreshed. The lobby looks modern as does the rooms. The walls are pretty thin though as I could hear my neighbors watching TV. However, the nice bed, with the very curteous staff made for a pleasant stay. I would consider staying here again.
I found the cleanliness, good size of the room, and also excellent location. What I do not understand is the reason to collect "guarantee": are $20.00 DLLs per day!
Great location Excellent service in Spanish, clean and comfortable rooms lack refrigerator and microwave in them.
Great location in downtown. Hotel was nice but room finishes were worn and in need of some attention (carpet, bathroom light, some furniture). Bed was very comfortable. Staff was helpful and able to store luggage after check-out. Parking is valet only, and retrieval of car was slow.
I like it here. Good for 1 max 2 people in the rooms I've seen. Great location in Downtown Miami. Good if you don't have a car, parking in downtown is bad everywhere.
Awesome location across from bayfront park downtown. Room was modern and clean but a bit small. Great deal if you can find it for the right price.
The lobby and rooms were clean. Staff is very friendly and our stay included vouchers for two complimentary drinks at the bar. It's in a great location — just across the street from an outdoor mall and many restaurants. I would come back again.
My room had a great view on the PH level… the service was awesome and people are very friendly. It's walking distance to Bayfront were a lot of entertainment happens. I would definitely stay here again.
Very nice place… The rooms are may be too small.
Great location! Close to shopping and South Beach. Service was good, but they accidentally book someone else in my room after I arrived. The poor folks were trying to enter my room and called hotel management only to realize the room was already occupied. Saw few roaches as well.
Small room, breakfast buffet too expensive for what it is.
Comfortable good location.
Verifiable hotel. Small rooms, no fridge, but very accommodating. If you want to explore downtown Miami, stay here. Reasonable and fun. Make sure that there are no concerts when you book… If you don't like to stay up late.
We checked in 6/24, Friday evening. They had serious elevator issues, at one point during the evening both elevator stopped working. We were about to go out, we had to take the stairs from the 9th floor. The stairway was so humid, all the stairs were wet. My friend slipped fell down from the stairs, inured herself. The staff was nice, but they handle this situation very poorly, obviously lack of training. During that night other people injured themselves, emergency was even called for one case. We would have expected at least a call on the next day to inquire about her condition, but nothing! Otherwise the place is noisy, rooms are OK, bathrooms are tiny. No fridge or coffeemaker. Would never stay here again.
This hotel may look nice in the pictures but the room we got was TINY literally could barely walk around in it! The bathroom was SO cramped, the whole time we felt like we were in a cruise ship room that's seriously how small it was. I'm not sure if we just got stuck in the smallest room in the place or what. Our bed was dirty it seemed like the sheets hadn't been changed there was hair in then and makeup marks. There was toe nails on the floor. It was just gross. Then we got a flyer under our door for a local take out pizza joint, Italian Pizza Italian Style, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! Our pizza was an hour and a half late, tasted like cardboard, was cold, and expensive to top it all off. Worst pizza ever! I would think the hotel wouldn't be ok with this type of service being offered to their guests but I guess they don't care. Everything is just not what it seems. Worst hotel experience!
The hotel was very nice and the room was good.
Nice hotel in great location. Got a great deal for the room so we were very happy with what we got. Rooms clean and updated. Hallways could use a touch up or decor. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay there.
Overall the hotel was decent. A little loud, but not bad. I was most upset by the trickery that occurred the day I was checking out. Upon checking out, I asked if they could call a taxi for me (my Uber app wasn't working and I needed to get to the airport quickly). The concierge tells me that a guy who works for the hotel is on his way to the airport and can drop me off. I get in the car with this guy and he drives me to the airport only to reveal that it costs $30 dollars. (The Uber from the airport cost me $8) cash only. I of course don't have cash on me so I couldn't pay right then. I feel responsible for not clarifying at the hotel if they were going to charge me, but I feel like the wording was specifically deceitful considering they made it seem like he was going there anyway. I might have given the hotel a higher rating if they hadn't pulled that.
Very noisy air condition very very good service. Breakfast much too expensive $24 for this is anything. Vallet overpriced parking. What saves this hotel is its location which is strategic for partying.
I thought it was economical and well located.
The staff were kind but the rooms lacked cleaning and care. The Wi-Fi did not work for half of our stay. Very small rooms and bad sound insulation. Not worth the high price!
Need much more attention and the elevators are very small.
Ultimately, this Hotel was a DECENT experience by accident, bc we were upgraded to the Penthouse Hospitality Suite… as our room was double booked; (we chose it bc my bro blocked it off for his wedding) if we wouldnt have been upgraded, id have been ranting here. My overrall experince was. OK/relieved as. The penthouse room was what I expected for a normal Hotel room. (Minus kingbed) My review has 2 components: review of room/hotel & my personal experience. (Which was mediocre) The stay kicked off with an eternity in the sloe elevators to the 17th floor, just to learn our key didnt work. Went got 2nd 1, it didn't work. 1+ hour of waiting for maintenance in the hallway& finally get let in. No apologies, just silently opened door. Idk if he just didn't speak english? The front desk was great obv, they upgraded us. I must say, even this penthouse room was crazy disapointing. Hospitality Suite had a Full/Double bed. Yes. Tiny bed. (Really disappointed, but glad we didn't get a microscopic room. ) Very comfy bedding & pillows though. — no microwave. (Had a fridge tho) -no alarm clock. -Tiny bathroom, motel 6 has a larger 1. But from what I've heard, our penthouse had a good sized bathroom vs most. -Phone didn't work. -Couldn't call roomservice; wait, they don't have roomservice. There's a restaurant, but they don't have roomservice. So, that explains no menu in our room. -Toilet clogged almost immediately, clearly super old plumbing.
We Love this hotel! We travel to miami every 6 months and every single time we go we stay here. We love the feel of the hotel and the flare it has. It has the type of architechure that makes you feel miami! Well worth every penny and we love the location.
Worst hotel ever. They gave me a room with a dirty shower, I had no view and I paid 700$ for 2 nights… for horrible service. There was a hair in my food at their famous Gastro Pub. Will never stay there again, they didn't even give me my deposit back for the room.
Extremely expensive hotel for what you received, rooms are very small with small toilets, the carpet smelled like it hasn't been washed in ages, it feels claustrophobic inside the rooms as there is not way to open the windows or get natural light, elevators are small and really slow, the only upside is location is easy to walk around Biscayne Bay, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody, I was so desperate to leave that I check holidays inn just 2 streets from down, but because of the no return policy had no choice but to stay.
Extremely rude reception staff. The rooms and the location are good. Great views. Very small bathroom.
I've been here since E the 23rd of December, and unfortunately, due to a "no refund" policy, I'm stuck here until the 29th. Today is the 25th, during this time, I've only received clean towels once, I haven't received any water bottles, no one has changed my sheets, taken my trash, or offered anything else. I've never been anywhere with service this poor. The elevators are tiny and slow, the rooms are small, the bathrooms are small. A microwave isn't available anywhere in the hotel, most of all, it's expensive. I paid $1300 for a 6 night stay, I expected better service.
HIDDEN FEES: $37 (this fee includes their tip) for overnight parking and mandatory $12 fee* for Wi-Fi and the two water bottles they provide in the room. Overall cleanliness was good. Higher quality linens. Room size was slightly below average. Only significant downside was being able to hear cars honking and car alarms going off while trying to fall asleep in our room on the 12th floor.
A very good 3 star hotel despite a little small bathroom.
Very well placed in downtown.
Nice hotel. Close to bayfront park, the arena, and a short $8 cab ride to E11even. Rooms are small but customer service is great. Valet parking (required) is $30/night + $12 resort fee — for something, but I'm not sure what. Book on their website & you'll find at least a half dozen specials that run concurrently. Spend a few extra bucks to get a bayside view. There's a great european place for breakfast or lunch on the next block — Cafe Papillon.
My overall experience was wonderful. I didn't give 5 stars because the room/bathroom size was very small. Also they only had 2 elevators so we just used the stairs. The view was good. Location was perfect, we could walk to Bayside. Customer service was very good and helpful.
We stayed 5 days. The hotel was small but nice, very clean. There was only 2 elevators and they were small, so wait time was a little long The real problem was the noise. Every 10-15 minutes someone was slamming doors so hard that things shook in our room. Then one morning someone decided to make beats on the wall. Thats not totally the hotels fault, but still. Also the air conditioners were very loud. Sounded like someone was coming in the room. The hotel is right across the street from some what of an outdoor mall. Lots to do and eat. About a 15-20 minute rise from the beach. I had a good time but I probablly wouldn't stay here again just because of the lack of sleep I got from all the noise. They have to do something about the doors…
The worst customer service I have ever experienced the staff is unhelpful messed up reservations and had absolutely no remorse about it made us wait an additional three hours to check into the wrong room steer clear homeless people everywhere!
We were at Yve hotel for 5 days. We had great customer service from staff. Very friendly. True the room was a little small for a king bed but we were raley in our room. Their concierge Steve was amazing. He provided us with so many options for adventure; he was a great tour guide!
After reading the reviews on trip advisor and Google I was a little sketchy on this hotel, I purchased a groupon for my stay and I absolutely loved it! The crew was really down to earth and they made my stay a really pleasurable one. The supervisor last name Frances, the entire front desk (morning or evening) was really really good/ welcoming and helpful. If you buy it not as a groupon it is a little pricey but if you have the chance to get a deal I say go for it, because it was a really good stay.
Stayed the night before our cruise. Rooms are small, but perfect for just a night! Bed was extremely comfortable! Very close to shopping and AA stadium and only a short (not cheap) cab ride to South Beach and ship docks. We arrived to the hotel nearly 6 hours before check-in time (4p). They stored our luggage for us until our room was ready so we could enjoy our time and even had our room ready by 1:30! Food at Biscayne Tavern (in the lobby) was good, but way over-priced! Front desk workers were very courteous and prompt despite how busy they were! Carlos, the concierge, was very courteous and patient with us needing to get back into luggage storage a couple different times. Strongly recommend Yve! Well done!
$30 parking plus tex? Ok. Overall very good nice place to say in.
One of the worst hotel experience ever. The facilities does not worth the money at all. Surely a bad choice for people who are visiting Miami for the very first time and willing to have convenient access to required services for stay there. The valet service takes forever at night, forget attending a party at ocean drive if your depend on them.
Very small rooms. Bad Wi-Fi coverages. No fridge nor drawers. Valet parking costs $30 per day. Small gym. No pool. Not good experience for people who want to enjoy Miami for first time. The good things about this hotel is the location in downtown, housekeeping and average breakfast buffet that is not free.
Too little space for too much money AND you have to pay EXTRA to even get Wi-Fi (it also includes water and some other trivial things that you can get for free anywhere else. ) That's not even the worse part as I understand that hotels, for some people, aren't about space/commodity, but the bathroom is something that at least should be relatively spacious and the ratio from toilet to sink to bathtub is so little that it is possible to brush your teeth while you're sitting doing your business ON the toilet and get into the shower thereafter without having to really touch the floor. Really, it's that small. Great location as you can walk easily to the Bayside area, but not if you plan on coming in your own car (because you have to pay for parking, too. Nowhere near to park unless you want to pay $3/hr to park in front of the hotel. ) Staff is rude and barely speaks English and there's always bums and other very colorful characters hanging outside the hotel whistling at you.
Worst hotel I've ever stayed in and I've been to hundreds of them. Loudest room ever, I could literally hear the neighbors breathe and they left TV on loud all night, had to call front desk 5 times at 3am, speak to a rude receptionist until they did something about it. No snacks in the room, no mini bar, no room service menu. They advertise the hotel as rooms with "great views", mine was a mini window facing a garage wall. And their "gastro pub" is a bland sports bar with zero atmosphere. Elevator takes forever to come up, I eventually had to go down the stairs with luggage after waiting for 15 minutes to find out at check out that there's an "amenity fee" for Wi-Fi that they never gave me a password for. Sounds like a joke, it isn't sadly.
I stayed here in 2013 for two nights before my cruise, there was 3 of us with two double beds in our room it was really clean, there was plenty of space and the staff was really friendly and everything was easy to get to, that is why we are going back there in october, would recommend it to anyone.
Don't believe everything you read because there comes a time in ones life where you have to take a chance. This hotel exceeded my expectations. I will return again and again.
First, the only reason we stayed here is because everything else was booked. Our bathroom was a broom closet, you could literally stand in ONE PLACE and everything was there. No place for you to put anything. Room features: no iron, luggage stand or dresser, 1 nightstand only because the room wasn't big enough, no alarm clock. The lack of a service elevator means you share it with the trash pickups. No amenities available such as shampoo or lotion in bathroom. This hotel used to be the ambassador, which was already an old building, and it seems they did nothing to improve it other than slap on some new paint and boost the price tag so you they can pass off a fancy chic product to you, and hope you don't notice the details. Not worth the money. Ice only on 2 floors, one was dirty. Cafe overpriced and after waiting 10 minutes for a cup of coffee to go I gave up. I was actually trying to use a voucher and the coffee was for the next day a certain period of day, it would have been real easy to make an accomodation and I would spend more. Crackheads and transients all over the street to scare your kids on the way to the cruise ship. Not coming back.
First off the room is small and the bathroom is literally a closet. Escorts operate in building. On our last day we waiting for a certified letter in priority mail to come in from the mailman. For we could get on the cruise ship later that day. Luckily we were down stairs when it was delivered. Because The manager told us it wasn't delivered yet. We told him we just saw the mailman bring in the packages. He then. Begins shuffling through the mail and says no nothing for you. I seen my package. While he was going through the bucket. So I snatched the bucket and grabbed my package. The Lowlife manager was trying to get us to stay another night in our two rooms. He was going to make my kids miss a trip of a lifetime for a few extra bucks! I will never go back and please don't patronize this hotel.
The room was pretty small, just big enough for a king bed and one end table. The shower door didn't close all the way so the floor got really wet when used. The whole room was clean, but the weird thing was the inch gap under all the room doors leading to/from the hallway. The biggest downsides were the ridiculously loud AC unit that didn't cool down the room enough, even when turned aaaaaallllllllll the way down, and the crazy slow elevators. The location was quiet and convenient, but the breakfast buffet isn't worth the ~$20/person incl. Tax and gratuity.
Beds are comfortable. Thats about all this hotel has going for it. Bathroom on my cruise ship was bigger. Could not get the Wi-Fi to work. Called service. Told me to go to lobby. They were able to connect. Get back to room nothing. Wont connect. No parking. Had to pay 20 bucks to park in a unsecured lot.
Very clean great value for money. Friendly staff.
