Hotel staff was amazingly friendly! But the rooms were gross. As my husband and I go to lay down, a roach crawled up the wall. Switched rooms, to raisins and food all over floor in new room, and TV didn’t work. Manager didn’t want to comment on it, and didn’t apologize. But receptionist was very helpful. Truly hope she finds somewhere else to work. Won’t be back.

The Fairfield Inn and Suites at MIA is convenient and comfortable. They have a free shuttle to and from the airport and also a free breakfast buffet that could use a little improvement. The staff and drivers are very friendly. I have stayed here a couple of times and would stay here again.

Nice rooms, good free breakfast. Super nice staff. Has a gym and large hot tub on second floor. Plenty of food in walking distance and has a gas station right next door. Only downside is its 12$ a day for parking.

Got stuck in Miami bc of airline issues. So the experience was negative to start. That being said they were so accommodating, friendly, told me the sights to visit, and places to eat at. All in all it was a really nice stay. The gym is minuscule but that's the girl way. Jacuzzi until 11pm. Free breakfast are nice.

My family and I stayed for a night at the Fairfield and had a really great stay. Staff was very friendly. Most notably, Karla, the front desk attendant who help us and answered our every question and ensured we were well accommodated. The driver of the shuttle was very nice as well, driving us to nearby places for shopping with no problem and always showing up quicker than expected (note: this was a Sunday evening and the hotel wasn't busy). Breakfast the next morning was great as well. Had a great overnight experience in Little Havana thanks to Fairfield!

Regularly stay at this hotel for my business purpose, usually more than two nights and it's all perfect. Rooms are clean and of high-level standard every time. On the other hand, staff services were highly professional and friendly. Stunning pool and gym for relaxing. Will continue to stay in for my future visits. Totally recommended to other business people.

WARNING: You have to be 21 to check into the hotel. I am 20 y/o and was told I need a 21 y/o or older to check in. Luckily I had a friend with me who was 26 but when I asked “what if I was alone” they said I would not be allowed to check in even though I was the one that booked the hotel! Very poor communication with their customers. The room was decent which is the only thing keeping me from give a flat 1 Star.

If you are one of those who will be out all day, this is the ideal hotel for you. It is located 10 minutes from the Miami International Airport. It's well located to the various avenues and motorway exits. 20 minutes from the Dolphin Mall. The structure of the hotel is nice, safe and cleanly. The recepsionist attention is good and she helps you in everything. The breakfast is well varied and rich.

They have a very comfortable lobby with a limited number of plugs for your devices. They provide an adequate breakfast with plenty of seating. The breakfast room is open to the lobby, so that if you are waiting for a ride it is convenient. The guy driving the van to the airport was pleasant, spoke English and was well dressed. He drove to the airport about every 20 to 30 minutes, so that was also convenient. There are some plugs that are disabled. I didn't ask if this was on purpose or a maintenance issue. They could put out some snacks in the afternoon.

Was an excellent choice for my budget. The hotel is very clean, nice staff and helpful a good breakfast for the price, missing some amenities and you can always be nice to the reception… You might get a free parking.

Don't expect a pool! It's more like a hot tub. Everything is nice and clean but just be warned that it is very close to the airport, although it's nothing that should wake you from your sleep.

Front staff were always helpful and friendly. The room wasn't a typical 5 star type I'm used to but they were accommodating. Breakfast food was typical hotel style but fresh and high variety.

I stayed here overnight because my flight got in super late and they had a free shuttle. The lobby smelled like cigarettes and weed but the staff is very nice and the rooms are clean. I liked they had a well stocked snack area to purchase items from because I was so hungry and it was close to midnight so nothing was open. My room was comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was a frenzy, so many people and even though I was down early-ish (before 8:30am) not only was there no seating but there was little food left. It’s free so can’t complain. The shuttle took me to the rental car place so I appreciate that. It made the visit worth it.

A very good place to stay. The only thing I could not get was the ability of leaving some luggage saved at the hotel for some days in order to go to the Disney cruise with less luggage. Everything else was great.

Good temperature control. Adequate lighting. Carpeted. Garage parking plus a lot for oversized vehicles. "Catch of the Day" funky seafood restaurant with bar across the street, beware of 15% tip included on the bill. Mandy rating of six stars out of ten, (Good 4 fluffy towels of each type, Hot shower with good pressure, Safe shower with nonskid and hand rails, 3/4 length mirror, bathroom outlets for hairdryer. Bad No good seat for applying make-up, cold bathroom counter if you are short, No mirror behind to see hair in back, No make-up magnifying mirror)

A solid choice for a 1 night stay between flights at MIA. Close to the airport. A little difficult getting the airport shuttle to the hotel, it passed us a few times — used Lyft to get there. Shuttle back to the airport though is great. Hotel was being renovated the last stay so ratings may go higher as this renovation becomes completed.

It's overall alright. It's a little far from the rest of Miami, so shuttles with hotel pick up services might not come here. At this time, the room number plaques have not been attached to the doors. Additionally, there was an issue with the toilet when we arrived (though it has been fixed).

We get stuck in Miami due to a snow storm in Atlanta. We asked some flight attendants where was a good place to stay and they recommended this place. It was closer to $260 with the AARP discount, taxes, and fees. A bit expensive for a hotel airport. But I tried booking through Priceline and everything I clicked on, by the time I was ready to book, it was gone! So we directly called the hotel to book. The hotel is newly renovated, clean, and the service was very good. The king room was very spacious, with a huge bathroom. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. They have a shuttle that runs to the airport every 30 minutes. There are a couple of restaurants, a Peruvian adjacent to the hotel and sea food across the road. We went to the sea food restaurant. It was very good although a bit expensive!

Worst ever! Snells like lime and also does not give any coffee. If you book a suite they give you a king bed not a good place to go to with kids. There is also bugs in the bed me and my family did not like it.

Thanks to hurricane Irma, I had to stay in Miami for work. The hotel staff was more than polite and accommodating. Parking is a pain for a bus anywhere, but for a car they have a garage.

Very convenient location just minutes from the airport, ideal for a first night in the city, maybe after a long trip. It was a very nice Hotel. Breakfast buffet included but not too rich. Maybe excessive parking cost equals 11, 50 dollars for one night only.

Excellent attention to our needs and service. We checked in around 12:30 am and the front desk had my keys ready and waiting for me. We arrived he handed me the keys right away. He even remembered me by name the next night.

I would like to convey to you the unacceptable treatment towards me in The Hotel Fairfield Inn and Suites Marriott Miami South Airport. I spent two nights at this hotel last June. June 05, after leaving the House very early at 6.30 in the morning, I realized, once arrived in the departure lounge at the airport in Miami that I forgot my gold necklace on my nightstand. I immediately contacted the front desk to report and asked to call back me. Seeing it reminded me, I again called the front desk, who answered in the affirmative. My return to the Fairfield Hotel on June 16, despite my contacts from June 5, I was informed that no object was found but most disturbing is that I felt really disturb! Any answers to my questions, clear no will to help me and to conduct legitimate research, in short a total lack of listening and cooperation. On the part of the reception: no listening, no empathy for the customer, no form of cooperation. Even worse: on the part of the manager, attitudes are identical to those of his staff. The behavior of the manager is outrageous as it is irresponsible! Then, on the side of the customer service and office service consumption is not better! Very numerous exchanges of emails between us and ultimately no real consideration of the issue. The height of incompetence comes to the Consumer Affairs Office who gave me two nights at the Fairfield! So far, you informed me that the case was closed with regard to them.

Truly a beautiful residence, at the gates of the beautiful town of Naples. Very large rooms, well furnished and well maintained. Breakfast in standard, walking distance to a couple of large commercial agglomerations in which to do the shopping, if you want to cook you in the room. Nice also the pool, although in Naples it makes much more sense to go to the beach!

The hotel is OK good price. I staid 2 nights everything was great until y left the hotel in the morning. I forgot to pack a new cap I bought, and after a few hours I remind of it and My brother went to get it. But it was stolen by the room service. So do not leave anything in the room. It is my fault but a good liver would return it.

We had flew in on a red — eye flight from the West Coast, very tired. Checking is was a breeze and they offered a warm breakfast and let us go straight to our room, no problems. Fast, friendly, and accommodating. Walking distance to grocery store, several fast food and convince stores. (should you had forgotten something) I'll definitely be back!

Night shift front desk is rude. To make a long story short, don't ask them for anything. You won't get it even if it involves a broken toilet. Breakfast only lasted to 9 am, there time. I could have sworn they told me 1130 am but whatever. Room was clean but thats about it. Not a good time or anything you'll remember positive.

Fairly good place to crash after a long flight. I booked this hotel because I read recommendations of its breakfast. However, I found it to be quite poor. Oddly fried eggs, greasy meat patties and pretty dry english muffins. All served with paper plates and plastic stemware. In the room you could not adjust the air conditioning, which was freezing, and the walls were definitely not sound proof at all. There was a vending machine (soft drinks) in the third floor but it didn't work. The front desk personnel were nice and helpful.

Unfriendly people with poor customer service and the policies they uphold do not cater for the customers experience. I booked almost a year in advance and was attempting to change the dates 3 months prior to my reservation and they wouldn't do it. They also stated they will not cancel for free even though it is 3 months in advance. They said they could cancel but charge me full price of the rooms. When I go back to Miami I will definitely stay away from this "2 star" hotel. It's only 2 stars for a reason.

Staff was very nice. Breakfast was a great feature. Shuttle was helpful. Rooms were average and clean. Convenient to airport. Uber was handy to get us everywhere else. Two nice restaurants within walking distance. However, this is not a hotel for sleeping… I've stayed at hotels that were literally ON a busy international airport and heard nothing. Constant street traffic noise, loud air traffic noise, sirens, and even voices from outside at the gas station below kept me awake all night. We were on the fifth floor and surprised by how little soundproofing there was. Slept with earplugs the second night and that helped a bit. Just be aware of the noise when booking. All other aspects were great.

We experienced bleaching damage to our bathing suits in the whirlpool not allowing us to wear for the duration of our vacation. $150 brand new bathing suit ruined. Hotel refuses responsibility!

I was caught two days in Miami because of the storm jonas and the attention of the reception staff was very friendly, especially Barbara who made me relieve the helplessness he felt, can not return home. I helped with every need I had. really very good service.

As a loyal Marriott customer, this is one of the finest Fairfields. Excellent service from the airport shuttle to checkin to question. Even better than the Marriott Airport in which we stayed a couple weeks before this visit. Marlan and Barba were cheerful and helpful. Thanks for your service.

I was about two months ago, which was hosted 14 days in this hotel and I never had any complaint, something to highlight is the sincerity of their employees, never lost money left on the table in the room.
Excellent location for shopping, renting of vehicles, Malls, Restaurants, trails for walks in the morning; excellent in everything and good price.

Excellent customer service… staff was friendly and accommodating… Magdalene, Robert and the morning shuttle driver in particular! My mom and I stayed there for 5 days and we enjoyed. The only thing for us was that the breakfast was the same thing for all 4 mornings (scrambled eggs, fried eggs, sausage). Maybe you'll can change up the menu sometimes. Room was clean and welcoming :)

The staff was really friendly, the rooms were extremely clean, it had a nice little pool, and the continental breakfast can't be beat! In fact this was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at it! Wow! Definitely staying here again the next time i'm in Miami.

I stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Miami, recently for business. My non profit business sent my information with credit card authorization two weeks prior to my stay. After we checked out and got home, I found out that we were in fact charged tax even though this information had been sent prior. After going back in forth with information, their fax machine not receiving our information etc, I thought the situation had been resolved. Little did I know it was not. Later on in the week, I was charged personally for the stay as I had given my credit card for incidentals. The response was that they charged the card the had on file. Which was completely and utterly wrong as they had the credit card information listed from when there had been the first mix up. So not only had they had this information that was faxed two weeks prior, they had received it again later and still managed to charge the wrong card. After conversing with the corporate headquarters, who was pleasant and understanding, I was also written an email by one of the managers who is still holding on to the fact that they did not make a mistake. Her poor attitude was apparent throughout the entire situation. As a customer, I felt as if those who work at this particular establishment were incompetent, and tried to cover up their mistakes. Likewise, if you are going to have a bad attitude at least make sure you are in the right.

— They charged $20 more than the base rate on my reservation (not including taxes and fees). They honored the reservation price after I complained. — They only had ONE small elevator operating for 125 rooms. The wait for the elevator was unreasonable as it was overloaded beyond capacity every time it came to the 5th floor. We had to lug 3 large suitcases and carryon luggage down 5 floors. The breakfast scene was alarming with hundreds of people preparing their own food in a small area. Every table filthy. The Marriott brand used to stand for excellence. How sad it was to see they are on the US corporate race to the bottom. After travelling around South America and experiencing great and friendly service at hotels it was very sad to return to 3rd world American hotel like this. There is probably no hotel left in the world where you need to lug your luggage up or down 5 stories, except for this one in Miami. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and looked brand new. It is a good location to the airport. It could be a good place if they maintained it and had a customer friendly staff. They did not care at all about the elevator situation.

My grandparents stayed here during my wife's graduation week. They can't say enough good things about the comfort of this hotel. GREAT staff. They made my grandma's waffle for breakfast so she wouldn't have to wait on it. VERY clean, comfortable, new/modern, as well as comfortable bedding. Great computer center. Near the airport — great value.
