Was there for visiting hospital… free Wi-Fi not reliable, front desk staff not overly friendly, remote for TV was not working, adequately clean, bed comfortable.

Front desk guy was a complete dbag. His name is Dan. Gave me one word answers, wouldn't look at me, and was extremely unwelcoming. Seriously such a douchebag. He was acting like we were bothering him by just trying to check-in or figure out what to do with our suitcases.

Great Cost-Service deal! The rooms where clean and well furnished.

If I could give no stars I would! Awful place to stay, better off going to a motel or something. Terrible customer service, stayed in the hotel for 3 days without having it cleaned by housekeeping, no clean sheets, no new towels except for once, come to find out the housekeeping staff was lying and saying they were cleaning the room when they weren’t. The shower curtain also fell the first day, I told them that day, it didn’t get fixed until the 3rd day as well. They are trying to keep the security deposit (currently staying here while writing review), for what they call “damaged towels”. Someone emailed me personally when I booked the hotel and confirmed that there will be a full body mirror in the room, I got here and there wasn’t. The guy at the front desk says none of the rooms have full body mirrors.

We have had a nice stay.
The hotel was accessible via several bus lines (also directly from the airport) and the station in the immediate vicinity on foot.
The beach was also within walking distance and the beach site is by no means crowded.
The hotel was very clean, the air conditioning also worked great and microwave and refrigerator also brought us a lot. Always like to.

-Someone went throw our luggage and stole our money, the hotel manager suggested we were lying, so I made a police report.
-The room was really dirty, I guess the cleaning lady focuses more on going throw guests the luggage.
-The walls are really thin, during the nights I was constantly woken up by someone walking on heels in the next room.
Our experience with Alden Hotel was terrible.
-When we went to the beach, someone came into our room, checked our luggage and stole money from us. I had to make a police report, the manager didn't help us at all and suggested we were lying.
-Everything is really very dirty, especially the bathroom

Place was alright. Staff were very helpful and nice. The pool was disappointing and the elevators were noisy next to our room. Room was cute and comfy, however the aircon was so loud!

The place is very good.
It is a quiet area of miami beach. Two blocks from the sea. The beach is quiet and spacious. Ideal to rest. The bus that brings you from the airport drops you off at the door. 1 block away you can take buses that go to walmart, downtown and everyone on the return leave you the. Door.
We're 10 blocks from liconl and collins. The trolley that is free can take you and you can easily walk. I would come back without hesitation!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. You could make an effort in decorating.
We got a room overlooking a building almost stuck. The atmosphere a bit of a party, I recommend high floors to sleep better. The location is good but better south from the 18th. Good thing that has pool and good price for Miami.

It was a private apartment inside the hotel, that is to say, independent of its services. Ambush you enter the hotel it feels a lot of smell of humidity but it was very clean. Very good location. The apartment was perfect. Although it lacked sight and more ventilation.

The beach and bus stop nearby, there is a Starbucks in the hotel has a pool also, there are some workers who know Russian.

Went in expecting a good experience (not luxury) and was very satisfied. Hotel: nice and welcoming lobby. Front desk friendly and helpful with questions Location: very good. 2 blocks from beach access. About 30 minute beach walk to south beach. Easy uber to many Miami locations. Rooms: clean and accommodating… had the basics that you need, including mini fridge and microwave. Only negative is they are small. My husband and I didn't need any more space so worked fine for us.

I really don't recommend this hotel. We stayed there 4 days, and we got robbed in our hotel room while we were outside. There is a camera in the hallway but the reception refused to show us the video. And didn't manage to find a financial compensation or commercial gesture regarding what happened. Run away from this place if you plan to stay in Miami.

Beds are big and comfortable. The rooms provide a good variety of amenities.

Quiet Place the only thing is that the rooms very small as well as the bathroom and the beds, very compact.

Excellent option to rest. The Wi-Fi horrible but everything else good.

Good value for money, two blocks from the beach in Slaughter district and 15 blocks from the most touristy area which makes it quiet. The door passes the free Miami Trolley. We were left with no cost to leave suitcases and use pool the last day. At reception sometimes they have a lot of clutter and they take care of you but would return.

Do Not Do It! Absolutely worst place to be. Couldn’t leave one morning because property had sewage waste flooding the streets. Cleaning… forget it. I was there for almost a month and we would get clean towels that’s about it. Trash never removed, toilet left dirty, floors never swept. The kicker is when you call about something left behind you get “were not responsible for items left behind giving housekeeping the freedom to steal. Do not stay here.

Close to the beach and stores. Condo is ok. Kitchenette and bathroom are old. Fridge makes a lot of noise. Staff is friendly.

El lugar es bueno, pero afuera tienen construcciones sobre la calle y no esta bien iluminado por la noche, además es difícil llegar en uber y no cuentan con estacionamiento, la piscina esta bien pero no cuenta con silla… esta muy cercano a la playa y además de lugares en los cuales comer y un pequeño súper mercado.

Great stay. Very clean almost just like home.

Nice hotel if on a budget. Because of the construction it can seem a little unkept. But the in room service i. E. Room cleaning and maintenance is.

We loved our stay here. The rooms were great and it was close to the bars and the beach!

Nice apartment still hotel. There is no real parking accept behind at another hotel's parking garage for $20 a night any higher like $25 they charging u the price of that hotel's parking. Also it 24hr from the time u park etc. It's great walking distance to Ocean Ave and party side of Collins. Safe area local bodega has Amazing Cafe Con leche. A must! Enjoy. Love love.

If you are a college student or family on a lpw buget this place is awesome for the location and beach towels. But… if you are financially fortunate, sleep deprived, cpmmute 45 min both ways for work, parent not mention student or spouse… please please please dont do it. no cable no curtains over bathroom window sewage smelling constuction… entire street… no earning poor customer service no toiletries other than toilet paper did I say no cable refurbished bathroom mirror where are the bath towels poor lighting to say the least, it was like I was in a third world.

Dont stay here! Worse terrible costumer service! Tv didn't work, tired getting it fixed the night we arrived and nothing was done next day tried speaking to the manager and wasn't able to til 11pm the next day! Just annoying! Wall super thin and water randomly leaks from the shower. Can't even give this place a star but I have to in order to post.

This was the first and only place I stayed on Miami South Beach. The price was good, the bed was adequate, the walls are paper thin. They have resort fees for benefits that most hotels offer for free. It's not a resort. Pool hours are from sunrise to sunset. Currently has construction on the street restricting bus and taxi/uber/lyft access.

The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful with parking, food and general information about things to do! The hotel was quiet and conveniently located in Miami Beach to meet all of your vacation needs!

We really liked this hotel as it is clean, one block from South Beach, and in a nice area. The price you cannot beat for the location that is for sure! You will not be disappointed. There is also many restaurants and a bus stop directly across the street.

There's No parking, and it's close to the beach, so good luck finding street-parking on the weekend.
You have to drive around and around till you get lucky and spot someone leaving,
And then pay for parking (meters),
where it's 3 hours max, so you have to keep renewing it, even during the night! (Till 3 am)
The hotel's solution: park a mile away where u pay 8$ for the whole day, but that's about a mile away, and they don't offer a shuttle service. … We got a room on the 2nd floor (out of 3),
and the room wasn't ready in time for check-in (3:00 pm).
I used the lobby restroom while waiting for my room, one stall only, and house cleaning were doing hotel laundry on the floor, right outside the stall at the same time. The room itself looked like an old apartment, not like a hotel room, and the curtains didn't block the sun. The air condition kept turning off, and un the bathroom, the sink is really small with no counter room next to it, not even enough to put the soap on.
You have to put your stuff on the toilet tank cover.
The headboard was made of glass and squeaked horribly with every TINY move.
In conclusion: If you have a car with you, and/or like comfort, spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

Cheap. Lovely rooms. 2 minute walk to beach 3 minutes away from a great Cuban cafe.

For not having parking, that pretty much sucks. Paying $8 a night to park in a parking garage which is a 20 minute walk from the hotel. The receptionist said it was the best one. Sadly we came on the days where it is soo windy and not hot enough. You can get a tan by the pool but the pool area looks like trash. First of all, you can easily get locked out. Second, there are no lounge chairs! Luckily we brought our own. The water takes forever to get hot sometimes and the Wi-Fi is Sooo bad. I don't even use it because my mobile data is faster. The only good thing about this place is that it is nicely decorated and close to the beach.

You must lower your price. Very expensive for its category.

Great for the price clean and close to the beach. They do charge a $25 early check in fee. The rooms are small/ boutique style. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is limited so Uber would be your best bet and they are everywhere so no worries. ***Only dislike was housekeeping came 1 hr prior checkout to clean and we felt rushed.

The staff is really friendly. I arrived to the hotel really early so I had to pay $25 to get a room because the check in is until 3 pm. I would come back to a nice clean room the bed would be all done and everything would be nice. It's very close to the beach like a 5 minute walk. Very clean and friendly.

This is a descent hotel. The pool review/city view rooms are small but cozy. The first room that we had, the water wasn't hot. The staff switched us to another room with hot waster. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. 5 minute walk to the beach. Uber was very cheap (10 to 13 dollars if your going to Collins ave. I wouldn't recommend anybody to rent a car parking is a mess. 3 dollars and hour. The Alden needs to upgrade there cable tv. Only basic channels available. They do have flat screen tv's. They also have a pool that's pretty bad is nothing amazing about it. Our room was very clean and had a fresh smell. The A/C was the best. You can control it yourself. Check in isn't until 3pm however there is early check in available for 25 dollars more. There is also a security deposit of 100 dollars that's required. They give it back to you when you check out (they take cash or credit) they give you beach towel as well. Over all we had a good experience here.

My experience was tottaly bad, My nrighbors were all night long screaming as crazy, and I'm talking not about sex stuff. Thry were just crazy or high :)

Rooms are spacious and always very clean. Has I also like the proximity to the beach and for the month of March during Miami Music Week at reasonable prices.

Gute Lage mit einfachem Zugang zum Strand. Geräumige und Zimmer. Ausreichend zum Übernachten.

The price is only explained by the location of South Beach. If it's just a quick Overnight stay it is OK, for longer stay I would look for the next Time.

Good price for location, very short walk from the beach but far from popular spots downtown. Rooms are simple but have all you need.
