Great place. The restaurante is awesome and they have a great happy hour. The barman "Alberto " it's great and he is always looking to make you have a great time at the bar. Congrats to the manager and the people that works there. A place to go when you are in south beach.

Food was really good! Affordable meals and good taste, excellent service by Server “Cuba” very attaentive and Manager very kind. Nice and relax!

Imagine being tipsy, half naked, and locked out of your room. This past saturday, my wife and I found ourselves in this predicament. Karolina and I were enjoying the view on the patio just outside our room when we realized we forgot our keys inside. My sister, who rented the room, was knocked out cold inside so we were S. O. L. After banging on the door for several minutes, we gave up and went to the concierge who was not so friendly. Viri (I think thats his name, pronounced vee-dee) was not the nicest. We asked for the restroom (first things first, we had to break the seal) and his response almost ruined our experience at this beautiful hotel. He accused of not actually having a room and said that we were a disruption to his actual guests, even after giving him my sisters name and our room number, he continued to threaten to have us removed. I felt as though we were being judged because we are young and we are lesbians. We were appalled with his behavior and on top of that we never got to use the rest room! What saved this rating was the rest of the staff. The next day we ate dinner provided by the hotel and we were more than satisfied. The food and the staff was so amazing. Our server, who goes by the name of Cuba, was polite and charming! Even the busser, Lance, was super cordial. Later on that night, I was so pleased that I ordered food to take back to my room for a late night dinner. Cuba then took me to a GORGEOUS bar beneath the hotel to wait on my food.

Great location to stay during the corporate event. The most comfortable, spacious and clean room while working. Love this place and menu has everything for food lovers. Even, wonderful location for shopping after work.

Good location and rooms are priced very reasonable. Will stay there again on the next trip.

Not so happy about it. First we were assigned to a studio with a small fridge and no kitchen, which also has windows such disgusting that it was impossible to see trough them. After discussion, we were assigned to a real studio, with big fridge and kitchen, which is what we ordered. Unfortunately, that was a room for disabled, with strange finishes… but still ok. We looked.

20 min walk to the city center (Lincoln Rd area) and a few steps away from restaurants, bars, nightclubs and the beach. Noise level is better than the ones that are located North of this hotel in South Beach. It's not completely quiet though. You will hear cars playing music and loud motorcycles at night, and garbage trucks in the morning. The room was clean, and the staff were nice. The rooftop pool has a nice ocean view and is rarely crowded. I'd recommend this hotel if you need a bedroom suite instead of a studio room.

Location is amazing! Hotel is very clean, and while it is busy and noisy outside the room itself was remarkably quiet.

Spacious and luxurious apartments, excellent location and attention.

We were there for lunch. Food was delicious and the serving appropriately large. Water was available for free and the staff were very friendly.

Fritz was like the Ritz. Lol… The rooms were clean and spacious, full refrigerator, stove, microwave, living room, wet bar, rooftop pool with awesome view of Ocean Drive & the Beach. Fernando at the front desk was absolutely amazing. Price line had screwed up our reservation and he made every effort to accommodate us. Even upgraded or room. Can't wait to go back!

The rooms are really spacious. Large kitchen, big fridge freezer and microwave. No cooker or grill/toaster though so the huge kitchen area/cupboards are wasted really as theres only like 4 cups, plates, glasses etc, but nothingvto cook on :/ There is a dishwasher (? ) but would rather have had a washing machine/tumble dryer in its place. We had to ask for plugs for the bathroom sink/bath, got found one for bath but cannot fill a sink of water up. The sliding windows in our room were bolted shut because of a previous incident that had happened with someone falling out apparantly (one was already bolted shut, the second one tipped out inwards from the top and later got stuck and was deemed unsafe… was told by maintenance guy that it should already be bolted shut and that we can only use balcony door… which is a shuffle past our bed and only like 2 feet wide) but the floor below us has full opening windows so how is that!? The balcony was right next to our neighbours… you could see into each others rooms. The noise at night made it sound like your windows were open (yes I know we were on the Ocean Drive front but this was just loud talking voices and cars revving… the gaps in the rotted windows didnt help). Cleaning staff made our beds each day and tidied up. Good Wi-Fi. Roof top lovely, staff lovely, position lovely, Wargreens supermarket 5 min walk for all your provisions. Some good places to eat nearby. Hotel needs a slight update.

If I can give this place a 6-star rating, I definitely would have. The customer service is amazing at the Fritz, very accommodating to all guests. Their rooftop balcony and pool have a stunning view of the entire south beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I will definitely be returning to stay at the Fritz.

This place 5 or 6 years ago used to be a lounge/club called, "Teasers". It has since been turned into a beautiful, boutique style hotel. I've stayed here 2 years in a row and for the $, it can't be beat. The rooms are clean and spacious, some with living rooms and kitchens. The location is perfect, right at 5th ave between Sofi and the main area of SB. Still in the more "chill" area of Ocean Drive but only a few blocks from all the action. The head manager and owner couldn't be any nicer and is very accommodating. There is a small rooftop pool and area to lay out and you are also right across from the beach. They are in the process of renovating the front and adding on a new restaurant/bar which should open sometime in 2017. Even with the renovations, I heard nothing during my stay there. Definitely recommend The Fritz if staying in SB!

This was one of the nicer hotels in the area. The room had 2 balconies, both with great views of the city. You are directly on the strip and across the street from the beach. Definitely somewhere I would recommend!

The room was on the first floor, quite good, wide, with fridge and microwave. Excellent bathroom. The bed is not so comfortable but may be personal taste. Staff very attentive, friendly, all are Latino, they gave us all the information we needed. Good Wi-Fi, provide beach towels. There is parking close by, in the 7th with Washington. Maximum 20 USD, 1USD time we thought it was cheap.
If had something to say, is that is very loud, but is the price that is paid by be in full Ocean Drive.

A good deal, great location, great staff, quick walk to south beach, and a free upgrade to a room bigger than my apartment. Will be staying at this hotel again.

Huge rooms, very friendly front desk. Fernando was great and very easy to work with. Location is perfect! On ocean drive, but at the quieter end.

I stayed valentine's day weekend with my girlfriend. We really enjoy the hotel. We loved the modern style of the suit. Fernando the gentleman in the front desk, made us feel at home, taking care of all of our needs. And finaly, the hotel's lacation is the best way to do south beach. We walked everywhere for the whole 3 days.

It was amazing place. close to ocean drive parks. very very clean good stuff.

Love the placed, customer service was great. Will definitely be back.

1 Early history The seed that would become Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University was planted on December 17, 1925 (exactly 22 years after the Wright Brothers' first flight), when Talton Higbee Embry and John Paul Riddle formed an aircraft dealership named the Embry-Riddle Company at Lunken Airport in Cincinnati, Ohio. Embry was a wealthy aviation enthusiast who financed the venture and served as the company's president. In 1926 (the date shown on the university seal), the company opened the Embry-Riddle Flying School, which grew rapidly. Not your typical SoBe posh spot, but a great value, great location, and wonderful front desk staff. Don't be alarmed by the ugly lobby, they're building a new one and while the lobby is dumpy the suites are awesome. Close to everything, rooftop pool, full fridge and freezer in the suite; what more can you need.

My wife and I recently stayed there for our vacation. We wanted to stay on the ocean front. So, we got to the room, and it was a filthy dump! The tiles were cracked, little bugs crawling around, and nothing that was advertised about being offered was available. The floor looked like it wasn't swept or vacuumed in a long while. And, the door to the balcony wouldn't lock! We didn't feel safe at all. So, we had to buy our own security bar to put between the post and the door to keep anyone from going in our room from the balcony. We told the manager about the door issue, and we were told that nothing could be done until the next morning. The manager also said he was going to tell the GM of the hotel. Well, that never happened! Also, in the kitchen, there was a pot, but no cooking utensils. There were 3 glasses, 2 bowls, and some silverware. We wanted to cook in the room, but couldn't do so. So, whatever you do, DO NOT STAY HERE! You will regret it from the moment you step through the door! The only good thing was the view from the window. We actually checked out early and went to another hotel for the rest of our vacation. If I were able to give it 0 stars, I would.

If you can afford it, you should trty tghis place. It has a lot going for it and I am going again in December.

I stayed at the Casanova Suites during this past springbreak, the weeks of the 14th of March to the 21st. This hotel is definitely much overrated, and I think they need better management. The initial room we stayed in was quite nice, but then as we entered our second room, things changed. WE had a pigeon living on our balcony with us, right outside of our masterbedroom window. The pigeon literally was hatching babies and had about three eggs in the nest the entire time of our stay. We couldnt open our balcony windows nor step on our balcony cause we were living with wild animals. I made a complaint about it to the front desk and they told me to email the hotel, that of which I never got a response. The people at the front desk are definitely quite rude also. No one will acknowledge you or even speak, as if were not in a hotel on the middle of south beach, but rather as if we borrowed one of their rooms and they were waiting for us to depart. The hotel even got real petty about the damn towels. Towels are only there for guests and they tried to notify me that my roommates were taking towels. Well of course we need towels, we are in a hotel, why wouldnt you give us towels? and its a hotel on the beach so what more could you expect. Smh. Overall, I would never go back there again just because the hotel basically asks as if they are doing you the favor but in reality, you the reason why the hotel exists, because of us guests.

I stayed at the suites this past weekend and I loved it. We had a one bedroom suite. The stainless steel appliances turned my eye as soon as I entered the room. The bedroom was lovely and I had a great sleep. I appreciated the fact that the hotel is on Ocean Drive but its away from all the craziness which took place for Carnival weekend. It felt like being in an apartment rather than a hotel.

This is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in my whole life. So bad that I decided to lodge a complaint with the Miami Health Department — seriously that disqusting! This place is an absolute dump, you would be better off in some motel in the ghetto — seriously. 1. There were tiles falling off the baseboards – a lot of them. 2. The closet was missing the door! 3. The futon was filthy, normally dark grey now had white spots all over it (didn’t even want to begin to think about what they were) 4. The walls looked like they had not been painted in 20 years, they were dinged scuffed and destroyed – throughout the whole place! 5. There were holes in the wall that still had joint compound in them and had not been painted, I mean come on! Hats off to you for filling a couple but at least paint the wall. 6. The stove (which was the reason I rented the room to warm our infants bottles) was shattered to pieces and did not work 7. The elevator looked like it was going to take me down into some dark rave party – absolutely destroyed and disgusting. Assuming by the overwhelming smell of chemicals the staff is hoping to make the appearance as at least clean even though its destroyed. 8. The fridge was not working and couldn’t keep the bottles cold (another reason we rented the room) 9. The shower and tub was filthy, still had black hairs in it from what must have been the previous guest (along with the bathroom sink) 10.
