I have logged umpteen miles in road trips with children and anyone who has done that can appreciate the calm, clean rooms to settle down after a long day. The rooms are well sized. The front desk is staffed by pleasant employees. Breakfast is available prior to getting everyone ready and back on the road.

Great location. Lots of budget chains in the area. We just needed a one night stay while on the road and this fit the bill. Typical Hilton property. Breakfast was fine.

We loved how ALL of the staff were super nice, friendly, and helpful. The hotel was immaculately clean from the front door, to the front desk where the friendly staff greet you, and all the way to our room and bathroom. Everything was clean, fresh and ready for relaxation. Then as we walked thru to the front foyer we smelled deliciously warm chocolate chip cookies and fresh brewed coffee. The next morning we thoroughly enjoyed a hot breakfast that included staff made waffles with all the fixins', oatmeal, hot potatoes and a scrambled egg mixture with sausage, peppers, and cheese. It was delicious! We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stop here 2-3 times a year as we travel through Florida. Always happy with the accommodations, customer service, and (as my son loves to point out) the breakfast. My kids love the pool and my husband also appreciates that the fitness center has dumbbells available.

I enjoyed my stay. Very clean rooms! We had a king with a couch and it was very spacious. Very nice and helpful front desk Lady when we checked in. They have coffee and hot tea available all day and night long. In the evening they have fresh chocolate chip cookies. For breakfast there was a nice lady that made the waffles for you. Plenty of delicious choices for breakfast, warm foods cold cereal. Good juice selection.

The hotel was perfect and convenient. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. They had a great breakfast and the staff was very friendly. Anytime I'm headed in that direction and need a place to stay they will be at the top of my list.

Stayed for just one night, but the accommodations were good. Everything was clean and check-in 2as very efficient. Breakfast in the morning was great. The only slight negative would be the firm mattresses. However, they appeared to be fairly new and maybe just needed to be broken in.

Room and service were great just having trouble finding my Hilton honors club number I’m in the system but no number. Might be time to move to another Awards hotel This has happened many times. So I’m not collecting anything but I do love there hotels.

People that work there are very nice. I was amazed. The place is beautifully re decorated. The rooms are comfy and they even have black out shades. It’s a good place.

Great Place to stay. Would stay here again. All the people who work here are pleasant, courteous, and happy to be working here. It shows with their attitude towards the guest. Breakfast was unbelievable with everything fresh made daily. The servers did anything to help make the experience unforgettable. Great job girls.

The Staff were the professional and courteous from the moment we checked in. They were helpful for me since I was returning late from running around with some friends. Rooms were immaculate and breakfast was pretty good too. I would recommend it to anyone.

Quiet hotel just off I-75. Had a lovely strawberry waffle for breakfast. Beds were nice and firm.

I travel for work! Have stayed here months ago and again this week! Still the cleanest Hampton I have ever stayed in! I appreciate the attention to detail their housekeeping provides! Keep it up! Looks clean smells clean!

Love this place. Staff is top notch amazing. We've stayed many times and they are so consistently amazing we won't stay anywhere else.

Front desk is amazing, Arielle is super nice! They are quick to solve any problem I may have and make the exp very personable by using my name! I would never expect them to know it with how many people that stay here so it's super impressive!

Stopped on way to beaches. Nice king with pullout big enough for family of 5. Pool is not heated: (no hot tub. Nearest park for kids to play in didn't seem like best area (young park). Could really use something for kids to do after a long day in the car. Clean hotel and standard breakfast spread. Staff all nice.

A lady that works the breakfast was so very nice, my husband was going too get a waffle, she offered to make it for him, she suggested strawberries and whip cream, he was so appreciated that, what that gracious lady didn't knoow was he's a stage 4 lung cancer patient and I'm taking him home to be with our family, random acts of kindness.

The hotel looks to be recently renovated. Very modern and clean.

Great service and very knowledgable and helpful. We went there to see snow and the girl told me if I go toTallahassee that we would definately see snow and she was right and she made me and my family very happy. We got to spend the day in Tallahasee which was also great. Thanks to the girl working there for keeping up on the weather channel.

Went there for a birthday night with my boyfriend in a cold room with out heat. They got me so upset my ibsd got the best of me with the stress, and they over charged me and then I ask for a call from a manager and I am still waiting.

The hotel was conveniently close to I-75. Service was prompt; room was spacy and clean.

Absolutely fabulous property! Well maintained, clean and secure. Breakfast is a delight! All I see are smiles. Even weary travel stained guests are smiling. Lovely pool with handicap assist chair. Highly recommend!

Be prepare to pay twice, specially if they have some systems problems and don’t accept your confirmation number from Expedia. It’s a shame. They should be out of market.

Very nice hotel; room was clean and spacious. There was some road noise in the room, which was easily addressed by setting the HVAC fan to on instead of auto. The staff was very friendly; with cookies and cocoa available on our arrival, and helping my kids with breakfast in the morning.

No complaints. Breakfast staff was awesome, even if the breakfast was just okay. Very quiet. Comfortable and clean rooms.

On our way to Disney & we had the best experience here! We arrived at midnight & the staff was extremely friendly & helpful! Beds were comfortable and the room was clean! The best was breakfast in the morning! The sweet staff made waffles for the kids & everyone had a smile on their face! We would definitely recommend staying here!

Travels my to Florida. Just needed a good shower and bed. This place was so wonderful! Great bed! Very clean and well appointed rooms — coffee pot, refrigerator, microwave, dishes!
Obviously set for extended stay people. But so welcome to the weary traveler! Great courteous service and delicious breakfast included made this my best overnight stay on my wY down south. Definitely recommend!

Best hospitality I've ever cone across at a hotel! Clean rooms, filling hot or cold breakfast and the most kind employees. If you need to stop in Lake City stop here.

Very noisy hotel. You hear every door closing to every room near your room. Friendly staff and hotel is clean, but if you can't sleep well because of the slamming doors, why would I want to stay here again?

Our room was nice and functional for kids. Everything was clean and arranged beautifully. The staff was friendly. Breakfast and coffee was good.

The staff and room were terrific. Free breakfast was the perfect sendoff.

We went to lake city for family emergency. Hampton Inn was accommodating and considerate of our family needs. You made this experience a better experience knowing Hilton was supporting our needs.

They are currently redoing the wallpaper and carpets but the room I was in (King Suite) was a nice sized room with plenty of space. Not too noisy, even though interstate is close.

Gave multiple opportunities to resolve privately. Booked this hotel via credit card authorization form for work. They charged out business card and our personal card for the rooms and incidentals. Refused to correct issue, stating they didn't. Provided proof and still was dealt with like I was nothing more than a number. Mildred, Ariel, and Luigi watch out for those three at the hotel. They put on a good show in person, hope nothing goes wrong. Then they become to busy and act like they have no time for you. I mean they have your money at this point. Called corporate. They told me it was a matter between mysel and hotel. Rooms have busted pipes in the ceilings as well. Watch out on that 5th floor, the walls are coming down soon. Mildew!

Very tidy rooms with mini appliances and television. Suitable suite for several nights. More than I could've asked for during my stay. I missed the entrance coming off the freeway, but it's hard to miss once you see the hotels. Fitness room, swimming pool, complimentary Wi-Fi, and helpful staff. 5 stars.

Very clean hotel. Friendliest staff I have ever seen at any hotel. Delicious free breakfast. Fair rates. Close to the interstate and several popular fast food restaurants. Will definitely stay there again.

Nice clean place with excellent service. Unfortunately my A/C unit was a little weak, but otherwise it was a great stay.

Standard Hampton with very helpful and friendly staff. The pool gets great sun in the afternoons/evenings, you can even get in a chilly swim in March. This is a non-redneck oasis, in redneck country.

A road trip stop over that turned out to be a jewel, the best in the chain of Hilton we've experienced out of 6 stays. Great service, helpful with specific needs, appreciate the guest laundry room option, super clean, comfortable beds, fun and entertaining decor (right down to the coffee cups) good hot breakfast, easy in & out with lots of smiles. Thank you Lake City Hampton Inn!

I highly recommend this hotel for a stay. I stayed here for 2 nights, 3 days and it was very comfortable. The staff are friendly. The breakfast consisted of waffles, eggs, sausages, grits, cereal, yogurt, bagels, fruits, etc. The rooms were real clean and spacious. They have a pool, hot jacuzzi, business center and a mini gym. The reason I gave it a 4 star and not a 5 was because we weren't able to get a late checkout even if we had to pay for it and the printer in the business center had no ink. This hotel is close and in the center of everything. Shopping stores, fast food and dining in restaurants, other hotels, and the expressway is literally right in front of it.

Great stay! Would stay again. The pool is small, but if you're just making a one night pit stop, it's great. Lots of restaurants nearby. You do have to drive down a questionable road to get there, but it gets you to a safe area right off the interstate.

Terrible night staff. Security treats you as if you are a criminal, when in fact you are a paying guest. The male night desk clerk was rude and seems to think he is also part of the security detail for the hotel. The worst experience at a Hampton Inn that I have ever received. I also experienced bed bugs, waking up to 70% of my body covered with the infestation. I advise a different hotel in Lake City to stay at, there are many on this road. Not the usual Hilton standard I am used to. Hampton/Hilton needs to really look at the staff here and make some much needed changes in a positive way.

DO NOT STAY AT THE HAMPTON INN IN LAKE CITY FLORIDA! and do not make a reservation through Expedia. I used Expedia to book a room at this hotel with the understanding that I could bring my dog. When I arrived at the hotel and checked in I was told I could not stay there because they do not allow dogs. I asked for a refund. The manager said I had to get the refund from Expedia. I called Expedia. Expedia called the Lake City Hampton Inn. The Lake City Hampton Inn would not grant a refund because they said I "cancelled" the reservation within 24 hours. Not true. They refused service. Expedia said they could not refund my money since Hampton Inn would not issue a refund. All of this happened with a two hour time period. To say I am angry is an understatement. Until I get a refund I will continue to post this message on every social media site I can find.

I have lived at this Hotel for 6 weeks. They have supported a major corporate Account Implementation. I have made some great friends at this location the staff is amazing. They allowed our company to use their brand new lobby as our office for almost 4 weeks. Thank you for the warm hospitality.

No issues at all. VERY clean rooms and friendly staff. Other Hampton Inn managers need to tour this facility to see how it's done correctly.
