The attendant Maria refused our business due to prejudice. She wasn’t professional and represented the company in a negative manner. She claimed all these outrageous policies to prevent our guests from checking in and then called the police after we asked why she was refusing to check us in. We will not give this place our business again.

Stains on sheets, lots of mold and mildew in the shower, chips on the alarm clock, and they refuse to refund me because I was in the room more than 30 minutes. These are all simple things to clean, I dont get why it wasnt done in the first place.

Nice hotel. Rooms were older. The maod had to come unplunge the toilet and wipe out the freezer that was never cleaned.

The rooms are dark, humid and smelly. The check-in desk is across from the Continental breakfast which only consisted of packaged muffins, packaged bagels, packaged oatmeal, packaged grits, juice, regular coffee and no decaf. The employees were coming in bumping into us, grabbing breakfast and drinks for themselves. They also congregated in a laundry room and the hall near the desk, talking loudly.

Booked motel online. I checked-in late and when I entered there was horrible marijuana smell and place was shabby. My room is dirty even though preferred for no smoking I can smell the marijuana inside my room. Whole night suffered with headache and nausea. Booked for 3 nights but vacated the room after 1st night stay. It’s unbearable. Sheets are not cleaned and nastily dirty. Terrible place for a family to stay. For some reason there was a door connecting to the next room which is very scary even though it’s locked. A big No to this nasty place. I would rate 0/5.

Very nice suite, very nice side of town. Very friendly and helpful people. Much better than another place we stayed previously.

This place needs a serious overhaul. As soon as you walk to the front, you are instantly greeted by the smell of smoke. The exterior needs clean up. The rooms. Well there is no hope! Tub had built up dirt, the bedroom looks like a horror movie! I got a refund Instantly! I was truly disappointed.

Rooms are very dirty. Unsavory types roaming the halls. Staff refused to mop front entrance when I arrived even though it was pouring rain and I fell on the wet tile without even being asked if I was OK. Do not recommend.

Shower curtain had old blood on it. Whole room was dirty. Hallways and stairwells smelled of marijuana. Their continental breakfast consisted of cheap pre packaged muffins and tiny bagels. Don't go here unless you just want somewhere to score drugs and cheap hookers.

I haven’t even stayed here yet, but I booked this hotel completely on accident, meaning to choose HOMEWOOD where the rest of my Dance family is staying. I caught my mistake almost immediately & called the hotel. The guy that answered said he could not get in to the computer then, to call back. Instead, I emailed them as I wanted them to get the info ASAP. They refused to let me out of the reservation. They were sold out & could easily have re-booked the room. But refused. Now I am forced to stay where I don’t want to be & in reading the reviews, we are scared to death to stay here! More to follow after my FORCED stay… no compassion here, that much is certain! I’d give NO stars already, if I could!

Since I stepped into the hotel I was welcomed with a smile from the employee. He did his best to sing me in, give me the key and hold the shuttle for me. The room was great, big and clean and pretty sweet for a business trip. It is a hotel after all, so, don't expect it to be your Home! It is great for with quiet sleep and close to work with polite and friendly staff.

If I could give it a negative I would. If you don't mind the drug deals going on in your face or hookers knocking on the door at all hours then, this is the place for you! I do appreciate the hotel for letting the prostitutes greet people at, what I like to call, the prostitute entrance on the side of the hotel. Beds were clean (the sheets but, I also like to bring my own) the bathroom could have been cleaner and with a lot less stray hair.

The room was clean, a/c worked in heat and cool modes, staff was friendly and accommodating, especially Linda at the front desk. Breakfast food was limited but I took advantage of it. Halls were clean and the carpet looked newer. A decent place to stay, not far off I-95, plenty of fast food restaurants a few blocks away as well as Applebees.

I'm usually not that critical of hotels because I don't expect them to be perfect, but this place is not good. The rooms are fair sized and its nice having the mini fridge in the room, but the room itself was not good. The bedding was stained, the bathroom was dirty, and there were things in the mini fridge that were left from a past guest. Seeing how things were left from past guests makes me think they dont actually clean anything here, just make it look pretty by making the bed and putting clean towels in the bathroom. Also, the light in my room was broken and flashing like a strobe light, which is really bad for someone like me who has epilepsy. The person staying with me had to twist the bulb to turn it off so I could be in there. Just sitting in the room made me feel like I needed to wash my hands or shower every five minutes. Luckily we only needed to be here for one night, but I definitely will never book here again and I would recommend that you dont either.

My family and I made reservations a month ago before actually staying. My cousin got a call the day of that if we don't pay for our rooms now before we checked in that we will lose our rooms even though we were going to pay in cash once we got there. I paid for mines and by the time they can call back to pay for theirs they reservation got cancelled. But when I call and talk to the manager he was able to give us the rooms back that got cancelled. At check in the lady was nice but she was the only person at the desk which took along time to check in. The rooms are nothing like the pictures that are on the website. AC unit was dirty toilet was dirty and the tub was filthy and the microwave plate was missing. Lobby smelled like cigarettes every time I came back in let alone I had my infant with me so I had to rushed back to my room so he doesn't inhaled the smoke. I won't be staying there again when I come back to Jacksonville.

DON'T GO THERE! Online prices are a lye. It cost $100/per nite. Slept in better places than this. It's not worth $100. It also doesn't deserve a star.

Not even one star! The room was hot all night due to the a/c unit not working! And a lumpy bed and a low water pressure shower! We were both so uncomfortable last night and no sleep! Don't stay here, no refund if your night sucked!

The bedding was stained, pillows were totally flat. We asked for more pillows, they were out… in a mostly empty hotel. We had to ask for blankets, we were given old bed spreads that were stained and full of cigarette burns. We were in the only handicap room in the place. It's right by the back door, which is supposed to make it handicap accessible. There's NO handicap parking or any sort neither is there a ramp! The back door to the place does NOT lock. It's unsecure! There were people going on and out ALL night, which made our door shake and rattle ALL night! Let's not get into the continental breakfast.

I'm the kind of person that can find the good in just about anything, except for this hotel. Halls smelled horrible. The first room I was in had a huge stain on window seat cushion which really creeped me out. The 2nd room was old, smelly, dirty tub, calcium build up on shower head so shower was a trickle not spray. Will never stay here again.

For this place 60$ per night it's too much. Should be 20$ ( (Its not clean there at all!. Very bad smell inside. I didnt sleep good, I was thinking I'll get some infection or disease from the bed in this hotel. In bathroom I was afraid to touch something, because of same reason…

I have nothing but great things to say about staying here. This is our second time staying here for a week each time. The staff is so friendly. If we have any issue it is taken care of immediately. The rooms are clean. Great breakfast. Great place to stay for the price!

Bed bugs, rooms smell ugly, Lynda manager very rude, definitely need to change staff and had place cleaned. And don't ever make changes on your booking, you will regret it for ever.

Front desk manager Linda very rude, did not refund me, bed bugs and cockroaches walking in the room and on bed, very bad smell all around, pay a litlle more on neer by 5 minute walk. For your own health Dont stay here and remember they don't refund they say the booking web site won't refund but it is the hotel management. Dont believe in them. I had a horrible experience here about five years ago. I can't believe this place is still under the same 'management'. Seems ten years later, they are still ripping people off, still acting inappropriately with guests, and they still haven't learned how to clean yet. At all. GROSS! Sleeping in your car is a better and safer option since this questionable management can access your room any time. Single females, beware of manager 'Mike'. Super, duper creepy. Tried to come into my room while I was in the bath. Twice. Unacceptable, creepy, dirty, gross.

Basic motel. Pictures make it look newer than it is. Think one above a motel 6. BUT, staff is friendly, grab n ago breakfast, clean room, fridge and microwave. Great for a quick overnight stay.

This Hotel has earned it's 1 Star rating. Room had a terrible smell, stains in the carpet, you can see through the towels, that I wouldn't use except to walk on. STAY AWAY, sleep in your car, I'm sure you will be more comfortable.

The lobby and rooms smelled like wet dog. The odor was so strong that it couldn't be ignored. Rooms are tiny. Lobby bathrooms out of order. My family was also given the run-around on the price when they booked. Would not recommend.

The location is next to lots of restaurants. It is about 10 minutes from the Saint John's Town Center. The rooms were clean and they offer a Continental breakfast. The staff is very friendly. The only downside is that the elevator is smelly.

DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE It was a horrible experience it is a quick way to scam you out of your money. My dog is cleaner then this hotel. (no joke) Problems that happened when I was there: 1. It smells like Pot and cigarettes through out the whole hotel. 2. The rooms are filthy. There was mold on the ceilings. Food in conners of the room (my dog was sniffing around eating it) crumbs in the cracks of the microwave and the fridge. I switched rooms just to get a semi decent room but the bathroom was still gross. I ended up cleaning the bath room my self with a sponge and bleach just to feel somewhat sanitary when using it. (ill post picture of how Nasty it was the lighting sucked) 3. Not kid friendly to me. It is a shower head only. And kids deserve way better place then that. 4. Upon checking in I made it clear that my dog was not a service dog but an emotional support dog there was confusion the employee thought that they where the same thing. When it was brought up again the manger tried to charge me a 100 dollar claiming that the pet was unclaimed and that it was wrongly identified as service dog (service dogs stay free). They continued to change my room keys locking us out of our rooms (my dog was inside) and it wasn't even brought to my attention until after the manger was gone at 10 o clock at night and the other employee was nice enough to explain everything and let us back in.

I can't help the se but Darren and the staff did a great job accommodating me.

Do not stay here! There was hair on the shower walls, and room had a bad odor. Also, paid the pet fee of $20 but wasn't told the fee was for each pet. We had two. When returning to the room after dinner, our keys wouldn't open the door. Desk clerk said we would have to pay a "unclaimed pet fee of $50 before returning to the room". I explained I paid the $20 but was informed THEN it was per pet. I complained to the owner Via email and didn't get any satisfaction even after providing them with photos of the hair on the shower wall. Again, do not stay here!

Went to Jacksonville for the return of my deployed daughter. Reserved 3 rooms weeks in advance. Upon arrival we received 3 of the most rundown rooms I have ever seen in my life and I travel alot. Since my daughter made the reservations online they were non-refundable. (1) Mold on the ceiling of the bathroom room 208 and this non-smoking smelled like smoke. (2) Stained shower area, broken dresser rm 201. The entire 2nd floor smelled like mildew. Took the stairs which smell like marijuana. (3) There is an additional $20 cash deposit for each room upon check in for incidentals. (4) Sunday morning cleaning crew having a pep rally at 8:00 a. M. Which would have been great if it was a precursor to phenomenal service. But, it wasn't (5) Cleaning lady on her cell phone talking about how she couldn' t believe some lady staying with her man. (6) Continental breakfast was less than mediocre. Same packages of oatmeal from the morning before. Had to ask for other flavors. The had cereal, but NO MILK… huh (7) Alot of foot dragging, eye rolling, and attitude. Empty tissue box for two days. An attempt was made by the night desk clerk to fix our situation. We were offered other rooms, but they were nasty too. Asked Linda the next morning for other rooms, "all booked up" strange seeing the parking lot was only 1/3 full. (8) Daughter and granddaughter had to bathe in our shower because the tub in room (212) remained filthy for the entire stay even after the staff was informed.

Drugs hookers and hoes hotel elevator smells like a toilet that hasn't been flushed over 2 years owned by a cheap indian guy carpet hasn't beend cleaned in years black girls in the front are stupid.

Do not go here! I have never been inside the hotel but I worked at the building next to it for over a year. There are drug dealers and working girls surrounding the property and a coworker of mine stayed there for a few days and witnessed an overdose her first day there. Police cars are there almost every week and a body was found in the parking lot next to them. It's not the safest location so I would recommend staying elsewhere.

This place is disgusting. The halls smelled musty and of of marajuana. They have bed bugs. The water pressure was not that great. I would not recommend staying here if I were you. It's not worth it.

Where do I start?! Rude staff, smells aweful, disgusting all over, and I swear I saw a junkie wandering the halls. And don't forget all of the stains and holes in the floor.

Horrible attendant was rude tried to scam me. Looks nice from outside but when u step in its discussing smells like weed and drugs. Asked for a double bed and got a single went downstairs and got my money back.

I couldn't even get past the unprofessional and rude attitude of the woman who answered the phone to book a room. There was at least a minute long hold after every question I asked and every time she came back I had to repeat myself. Oh but I was willing to overlook that until she was blatantly obtuse. Hey management, your employee just lost your business a 7 night stay because she wanted to argue syntax with a customer. Is that ok with you?

I am staying at room 122… to much noise in the room next to me and the room 222 also! Plus my room has bad odor! I will not come again. Sorry but I came to rest! Bathroom not look good, rug has staine, wait to long at front desk to be welcome!

It sucked! A/c didn't work. Weed smokers and loud obnoxious city people all around that stayed up late in night. Beds were not comfortable. Bathroom was disgusting. Didn't even want to put my feet on the carpet. We both slept on the end of one bed to be close to what little air came out of the blower. Listen to the other reviews and don't go here.
