Since my comments were either not posted or removed from the facebook page, I will continue here. These reviews, although more recent, mostly do not reflect opinions about the experiences of home buying at Lennar. They build up stars by posting vacation rental experiences and local business reviews. Well, I would like to add my one star to this rating. Lennar is deceptive in their dealings with home buyers. They don't disclose information that is important to the decision making process, until after they have your deposit. In my case they never mentioned that the home I was purchasing in Osceola County is technically/officially in Davenport (which is Polk Co). They also don't tell you that the post office that services this area is in Polk Co and if you miss a delivery from USPS you need to drive 30 miles r/t to claim it. Also, they refer the homeowner to the Davenport/Polk police and fire departments. Why do I need their numbers if I am going to live in Osceola county? Are there other questionable problems associated with discrepancy of unclear, cross county line services? This was information that should have been disclosed up front. Now Lennar refuses to return my deposit. Prospective buyers at Champions Gate, be forewarned!
