We stayed there from September 10th to the 12th for my son's sporting event. We had a room with a King bed and pull out sofa. Check in the girl at the desk was really rude. I wrote it off as people have bad days. I went down to ask for bedding for the pull out and was told they didn't have any. Again, same girl so I didn't persist. I went down after change of shift and was told the same thing. Both nights I was told the same thing. The staff was unbelievably rude. I called Hilton Corporate and they called the front desk to confirm and magically a set of bedding was available on the 2nd night. Luckily I'm a Mom and over pack so I had bedding for the kids the 1st night. It was just an all around a bad experience with the front desk staff. We have been Diamond Members since 2005 and have never had such a horrible experience. They also tried to argue with us over breakfast vouchers. It was a weekend of constant rude front desk staff. My husband asked if another room was available because ours had visible mold and he was told that rooms were under renovation and we were put in a room that was under renovation. We tried to explain that we have a severe asthmatic child and he can't sleep or be around mold the guy at the front desk told me that it wasn't his problem and refused to move us to another room. We checked in late and were tired, gave them the Benefit of doubt and didn't look for another hotel because we had to be up early and spend all day at games. I honestly thought that they would make it right on day 2. The day we left the "manager" called me back after Corporate left her a VM to call me and resolve. No apology was given, I was told that she would follow up with the staff. I asked if she would be calling me back for a resolution and I was told No that she would talk to them and there is nothing to follow up about. Thankfully Hilton Corporate stepped up after multiple emails and our points were issued back. Its not about the points, we travel so much lack of points are not a problem. It's the principle of how we were treated and I don't anyone else to have the same experience. Otherwise Hilton has always been exceptional and we have traveled all over the world using Hilton as our place to stay.
