I like it here it was clean and the staff was very nice!

We had quite the adventure at this hotel. We checked in and all took a nap, we were so tired from the 13 hour drive. When we woke up, we found hundreds of roaches. Some really small and also bigger ones. We immediately tried collecting our items. There were so many there were even some crawling on the tables, desks, and the phone. It was disgusting. The only good thing I can say about this hotel was the lady at the front desk who we spoke to was very nice and immediately issued a refund. She apologized and seemed very concerned. She would be the only reason we would ever return! It really was an inconvenience as it was late in the night and we were struggling to find another hotel! We weren’t going to leave a review but here we are at home a month later and we have seen a few roaches so we know we must have brought some home even though we checked and shook everything out, outside the hotel. Just watch out if you stay and check your rooms before taking luggage in.

Nice people and five minutes from a beach.

Had a great time @ the Sleep Inn in Destin, FL Was also the cheapest I found on such short notice, rooms were clean, nice bathroom & shower! The breakfast wasn’t the greatest but at least they have it. Pool was very nice and clean. And the house keepers were funny and helpful! All staff was so friendly actually. When we would leave for the day we would come back & our room was cleaned up and beds made w/ fresh sheets! Garbage took out! And they had Triple A advantage! Will definitely stay the next time! 10/10

We stayed for the Labor Day weekend. Breakfast was ok. I felt very safe at this hotel. The rooms are very small. The hotel seems like it was renovated, BUT they’re still some major issues with this hotel. Our room had mold all over the bathroom door. The shower bottom had a major crack at the bottom. When you walked into the room the smell of mildew and mold hits you so hard, but then we accumulated to the smell. I think the room we stayed in and the room below should not be rented for awhile some that they can seriously get some preventative maintenance take care of.

This was my first hotel I ever stayed at. I picked it due to the location, but there is a Hampton Inn right next door which I would choose If I had to do it again. My room wasn't clean in regards to a few things. The floor clearly wasn't vacuumed. There was a dead cockroach in my bathroom. The A/C was extremely filthy. Just basic things which makes you wonder how clean the sheets/towels were and stuff… The pool was also no bueno. Very dirty on top and bottom and visible algae. My from experience it looked like it was lacking chlorine as well. Go to the Hampton inn next door instead. A 2 star rating for a 2 star hotel.

Seriously recommend to stay at this hotel. The front desk staff is amazing and always do the best to fit our accommodations. Definitely will be back!

Location and included breakfast is probably the best quality of this hotel. Service was ok but the rooms are small for the price and hotel staff can irritate you over the simplest things. I asked for additional towels and staff said to turn in my used wet towels before they would give additional towels… weird! Fixtures in bathroom were falling down here and there. The facility was a tad dated but the price is right if you get what I'm saying. If I had the choice I personally would pay an extra few hundred bucks for something a little more modern and larger.

I am always pleased when staying at sleep inn. Location was good for us. Pool was clean so were the rooms. Good breakfast and beverage variety. Had guest laundry but all 4 machines out of service. Also only one drink machine worked and had no water option.

This place doesn’t deserve one star. Check in was easy but this place is a dump. The latch on the door is broke. The bathroom door does not exist. My 6 year old complained about the smell of of our room before I did and asked to stay somewhere else. Other people that have written reviews said the room smells like mildew. If you have asthma or allergies the smell will mostly likely kill you. The pool doesn’t work. They have a vending machine down stairs that’s broken with old sodas in it. The shower had blood in it. This hotel needs to be inspected. I moved the pillows and the box spring has enough hair on it to make a wig plus dust. I can’t review the breakfast because We are definitely not eating it. The owners must pay the health department for an good inspection. The AC is old and loud. It makes all kind of weird noises. This hotel is overpriced.

Staff were great, linens were great, breakfast was better than usual, room furniture was in poor condition — falling apart, you had to be fully in the shower to turn it on, luckily the solid glass door swings in to block the water, I'm pretty sure the light fixture in the shower is not suitable for a wet area and likely a hazard. Pool area had mold where there is standing water. Aside from that the stay was great.

This room was $250 a night and the floor was so dirty, my feet were black after I got out of the shower. The front desk agents were very nice at check in/check out but what a waste of money. The floors were disgusting, sheets had hair on them and the shower was gross. The corners of the room were dirty. If we hadn’t checked in so late from a long day on the road, I would’ve asked for a different room. Definitely go elsewhere.

I would stay again. Close to the beach.

My experience at this hotel was positive. The rooms had relatively modern furniture, and the hotel's location is pretty good. The only gripe I had was the door key reset everyday. Overall it was a great value compared to similarly prices places in the area.

There was mold in my room, and it gave me really bad allergies and a sinus headache. The rooms were also very humid and uncomfortable. The location was okay, but not the best, there are several restaurants within walking distance, but the beach was driving distance and traffic was pretty heavy. It wasnt worth the price. Each night was $149.99 and other hotels were about 200 a night at the time. I recommend you pay an extra $50 a night and get yourself a better place.

I honestly wish I could give this hotel ZERO stars. This was a joke. The service. The cleanliness. Everything. The pictures online look NOTHING like the real thing. Hotel is very outdated (which I do not mind) & the rooms smelled horrific… like the carpets have never been cleaned… What I do mind is that when we finally arrived at the hotel at about 11 PM … we walk into our room and its FILTHY. The beds and dirty sheets and still laying there. So whatever, all is well… the next room we go into the bed sheets were stained with a black & red colored something. Also there were 5 or more tiny black bugs in the bed… not only did I have this problem, the couple next to us experienced the same thing and in their second room there was hair all over the shower wall… the 2 staff were trying to find CLEAN ROOMS for 4 couples. Needless to say I got a refund and now elsewhere… very disappointed and do not recommend. At all. The front desk staff remained friendly throughout the entire process.

I was astounded with the quality of the Sleep Inn hotel. This was my first visit and I was happy that I chose to stay here while I was in town. The breakfast was amazing! Their staff did a great job in representing their establishment!

Although I did not stay at Sleep Inn upon this visit, I have stayed before. I love that they accept your pets like family, they're very clean, courteous and very friendly!

It's an outdated hotel. Staff is nice. Rooms were ok but the towel rack was broke. The toilet was running. Looked like the toilet was 30 years old. Not very detailed when it comes to cleanlyness or maintenance.

Do not stay here if you want a clean room. Dust and hair were EVERYWHERE! I went and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned it myself because they obviously don't know how to clean. The floor wipes I used were black and covered with hair. If we could have gotten a room somewhere else we would have. Completely disguising. The only upside is the front desk staff is nice and the breakfast in the morning is decent.

It's ok for the price point. Nothing fancy but if you're wanting to stop in for a night only it's a ok value.

I made a reservation on line and when I arrived the receptonist claimed they didn't have availibity. When I finally got a room the heat didn't work, the room didn't smell clean, and it appeared to have a spy camera on the tv. Overall this place sucks!

The staff is awesome! I would have liked a firmer bed and bigger pillows, but overall it was convenient and I was reasonably comfortable.

The location was good, but the hallway we stayed in had 2 piles of dried dog feces, smelled like urine, and was horribly dusty. The room smelled strong of dog urine and mold, and the toilet was backed up. And the attendant had 2 friends behind the counter that smelled strongly of marijuana in a non legal state. We left the same night… we are hoping the refund will go through.

Worst place I have ever stayed at. If I could leave no stars I would. The customer service was horrible. The place is a shack. Its worst than a motel 6. No hot water. No way to lock your hotel door. Internet is iffy and phones don't work and bed is hard. Its not worth it.

Dirty sheets/comforter and filthy bathroom. Pool was dirty. Lobby area was nice and breakfast was good.

If I could I would click on No Stars! Upon arrival to our room we were instantly hit with an awful odor. The sink and floors were both dirty. When I turned down the covers we discovered the sheet was dirty with food on it. We left the room and complained to the front desk to get another room. She never apologized or seemed surprised. We were given a 2nd room and it wasn't much better. Their were hairs on one of the beds. We couldn't take it and left the hotel by 4am and found another hotel. The only good thing I can say is the manager addressed my concern promptly the next day and gave me a refund.

Simply put u get what u pay for. My sheets and towels all had what appears to be either blood or ketchup stains. Also a very lovely assortment of boogers was left on a turned over pillow. The a/c works great and even though the guy at the desk is a vegetarian he was cool. Not like a veggy-nazi or anything. We can both co-exist without any issues. House keeping leaves early so I had to bring my sheets and towels to the front desk.

When I'm looking to take a quick trip I haven't really budgeted for, I need a room to sleep in and take a shower that is clean without bed bugs and this hotel fit the bill. The room was a little small for three people but again it was clean and when I'm on vacation I spend little time in a hotel room. I would recommend and stay here again. From TN.

This might have been one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. Evacuated to this area and had to book this hotel last minute. The sheets were dirty. When I told the front desk, they asked me to bring the sheets to them and they'd give me a new one. No offer to send someone to make the bed. When we took the fitted sheet off, we found blood stains on the mattress pad. Even the booking was a nightmare. When I wanted to extend for a day, I was told to go do it online. Found the staff to be unhelpful and not very accommodating.

We stayed in this hotel for one night to escape hurricane Irma. I've never been so disappointed in all my hotel stays. Room was disgusting. There was gold duct tape on the shower door to make it look like a decorative piece of medal. The room smelled moldy and I used cleaning supplies and a candle I brought to help with hurricane issues. Was hard to sleep with how disgusting it was. A sock was under one of the beds that wasn't ours. And sand was in between the sheets. Unless you absolutely need to I wouldn't stay here. Especially for vacationing. Was over $100 per night for a double "queen" (was really two full beds). Never again.

We went on a family vacation to Destin from Tx. Stayed 4 nights. Room service didn't change our sheets. Bathroom was very small. It had no door. Breakfast was good, can't complain. The lady who works there serving breakfast was BEYOND nice and made us feel at home. I can't remember her name.

Sleep Inn is not as advertised, it's not located on the beach and it's a glorified roadside inn that they tried to put lipstick on. I entered my room first thing I see is that there's 2 light bulbs burnt out and I can't see to get further in the room to turn on a lamp. I go to the front desk to report this and she hands me a pack of bulbs and says "do you mind" I responded of course not I only paid $286.00 and just checked in from a 7 hour drive but I got it no problem. I hope this gives you some insight on this property.

The ONLY good thing is how close to everything it is. It is not very clean, it needs major rennovation, it says dog friendly/can't be left unattended. We assumed that a crate would be fine, no apparently not. We drove 12 hours for our anniversary to not be able to go to the beach or enjoy anything! We are livid and very upset! This hotel really is not dog friendly, during our stay they kicked someone out for their dog constantly barking, which was the middle of the day. (I had no problem) but the guy on the other side of them did… he even was banging on the wall yelling at the dog like a freak, making it worse! As well as the second day we got here, they kicked another couple out for having a dog that was over 30lbs. They said they did not see that anywhere when they booked, I believe them, because my husband and I did not see about the dog left unattended when we booked. Nothing is dog friendly here except a few dog parks and a couple of resturants (some at Baytown Warf) you can have on the patio. If you have a pet, A) Do not come here, or B) Try everything you can to find somewhere for your dog to stay, and do not bring them. You will be ridiculously limited to almost nothing. I will say it is beautiful here and almost anywhere you stay is close to the beach, we would like to come back… but definitely NOT here the price should be more like $80/night.

I won't be staying here again. The room was awkward. Tile floors that had dried paint spots on the floor and the air conditioner was loud. The Wi-Fi went down and I called the front desk. I was told to restart my computer, and then when that didn't work, I was told that I would be called back from the front desk. That never happened. I couldn't get any work done.

We recently stayed for two nights over the Memorial Day weekend. Our room was clean and quiet, and the staff was efficient and friendly. We had one incident with a noisy group on our floor, but the staff intervened quickly and resolved the problem. The beach was a short walk away, and the hotel provides a shuttle throughout the day.

Hotel is convenient for quick overnight stay. We just needed a place to sleep. Hotel was clean and quiet. No frills, but exactly what we needed. Close to the beach within a reasonable walking distance. Also near several places to eat and shopping.

We were in rm 124. Loved the tile floors. Everything was very clean. The bed was a bit weird, like, the sides weren't straight, but we slept well. Carol did an excellent job of keeping the breakfast area refilled and very clean. Her smile 2as welcoming. My son left some clothes and his wallet in the room when we checked out. 15 minutes later we received a call from the hotel. We had just arrived on the beach so we said we'd be back later. 2 hours later we received another call just to make sure we knew about the wallet. At then end of our day, we stopped back at the hotel. All cards, all cash, everything was there. How pleasantly surprised we were. Everything about our stay was wonderful.

The staff was great, our check in wasn't til 3pm but we got there early and our room was ready so they let us check in a little earlier. Our iron was not working and immediately they had us a replacement. I also loved that there was a laundry station there. Eased my load of having to come home and wash clothes after a 12 hour drive. Loved thst it was close to the beach. Great place will definitely go back and stay when we'rewe'there again.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Scammers! They allow you to pay cash deposit to STEAL your money! Front desk was super rude & unfriendly. Free breakfast sucks, the elevator getting put in so don't expect any peace or quiet. They made up a lie that we were smoking in the room & started yelling making a scene even after I explained I have 2 small children, opened my door & offered for her to come in to see she proceeded to shout for us to leave & we weren't getting our money in front of my children. We were put out with nowhere to go DUMP.

I was so happy to stay here. The room was so clean and updated. Everyone was very nice. Will stay here again for sure. Have stayed at a few other places near by and this was so much cleaner.

First off it was in a great location, everything from restaurants to a shopping outlet right across the street. The beach was just a few blocks away! The room was clean, it had a microwave and refrigerator… they gave us extra towels when we asked and the people at the front desk were extremely nice… the only con was the rooms were a bit small. It was a the best hotel I've been to for the value! February 2016…

I absolutely loved my stay here. The team was very professional and super nice. The rooms were clean and had everything I needed to be comfortable away from home. The free breakfast was simple and delicious. I enjoyed my 2 night stay here. The staff are wonderful.

Pure disappointment. We expected much better of a sleep inn. The building looked like an old independent motel that they tried to fix up and make into a sleep inn. The property was only 2 floors and had no elevator so we had to haul our stuff to the second floor. The rooms looked old and had a weird scent. The bathroom was VERY small. The hallways were shady. The breakfast was mediocre. The only good thing was the waffles. Everything else was nasty. The pictures of this hotel are very deceiving. Do not stay here!

Staff was friendly upon arrival, neat appearance and great customer service. However, once we checked in our room, we noticed that the toilet had very low pressure once flushed. Well, not long after that of course it happened. The toilet over flowed! Yes, we could have changed rooms but, when we looked inside the room across the hallway, it was no better than the first room. So, needless to say… we're staying in our room STILL! And as paying customers! We're plunging our own toilet nightly YUCK! NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL… VERY DISAPPOINTED.
