Hotel is under construction — remodeling. No warning of that online when booking room or in any confirmation… project will take a few months later get. A dozen or so workers go up and down the same elevators, which slows things down. Fitness center is closed, noise is plentiful, and there’s reduced parking out front. Room was fine, though the thermostat on the wall didn’t work and the tub faucet leaked. Clean room, very friendly staff. Price was OK, but no bargain considering the circumstances.

Stayed here a few times. Great location if you have toddlers. Great staff, everyone is friendly. It was a great experience, I never had an issue while staying there. The managers, Becky and Manny, were very helpful.

I paid for a type of room (king bed with separated room with sofa, and the staff of the hotel gave to me a small room without the separated room and sofa. The front desk said this type of room was unavailable, I showed to her the email with confirmation that I received 10 days before arrived with my reservation, so how it's possible? I'm very disappointed, it never happened before (Me and my family stayed at this la quinta hotel at least 2 times a year always good served since 2013) I received a smaller room and I paid for the big one. Unfortunately I will think twice next time we decide to visit Orlando, probably in the end of the year. I decided to not spend my time complaining because this trip was to relax and enjoy good moments, but next time I will look for a new place to stay. This review have nothing personal against no one at the hotel, but small details like this most of the times make a big difference.

I was here recently and I truly regret it. My reservation were made well in advance and I was never told of the renovation issue where the hallways are hot and has plastic. I also had to switch to approximately 3 rooms due to things not working. The young lady in the front Destiny was very sweet but I wind up leaving the hotel! My expectations were not met this time.

I always use La Quinta when I travel. This one did not disappoint. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice rooms. My dogs liked it there too.

Its A good option only if you are for a stop to snooze at Orlando. Some families May find it comfortable staying close to the theme Parks. I would wish it to be more clean, to give more options for breakfast besides the classic international and also to add the furniture into the renovation program.

Love hanging out and staying at La Quinta. For Value it's the best place and almost everywhere. Professional staff clean rooms and well-kept grounds.

Great hotel but the rooms bathroom doors didn't lock. The rooms did have a mini fridge and microwave so that was nice. Breakfast was decent couldn't complain. The pool was great too for just a small thing to jump into between Disney parks.

This is our second time staying at this location. We always have a hard time finding a hotel that accepts both our fur babies, and La Quinta accepts two pets at no additional cost, which is initially what brought us here. Rooms are spacious, and clean. With SUPER comfy beds, blankets, and pillows. They are currently in the process of renovating, so it gets a little noisy at time but nothing the TV won't block out, and the construction workers are pretty friendly. 7 floors, and typically nice views. Area is convenient — within walking distance of multiple restaurants, Walgreens, and a short drive or shuttle to theme parks and walmart. Breakfast is simple, but filling and sufficient with waffles, cereal, muffins and bagels, fresh fruit and juice. If you want a bigger breakfast, Friendlys is across the street, and Denny's is a 10min walk. Staff has been pleasant and helpful and friendl since even before we checked in. Check out is convenient at 12pm, with late check out until 1pm. Check in is typically at 2, but both times we were able to check in around 11am-noon with no fee. Will definitely be staying at this location again, and others as we travel!

While the room we got is very nice, and the housekeeping crew has been wonderful, I would say the pool could use some cleaning and the vending areas need updated. The building is under renovation, and that doesn't bother us much while staying, we haven't heard any of it from the room. Staff has been extremely nice.

Check in was the usual, trouble free. I only stay at La Quinta when ever possible because of thier pet friendliness. I've got a blue pit and yorkie. Currently this location is under some remodeling and refurbishing, no big deal. Just means the next stay will be even better. Right across the street is a huge ferris wheel. The morning breakfast however was a big disappointment which is reflective of the 3 stars. They offer breakfast but what you actually get is continental breakfast. You can make your own waffles but that's the extent of their breakfast along with cereal, fruit, bagels and yogurt 1st, They did not have half&half for coffee (they did have flavored coffee creamers but my wife is allergic to coconut, of which is an ingredients in the particular flavored coffee creamer they offer). 2nd, they did not have scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon. 3rd, the fruit they offered as part of the selection for breakfast was not fresh. 4th, the air conditioner in our room did not have a properly functioning thermostat we would set it on 68 and it felt more like 78 in the room we stayed in. I travel extensively across this country and this is the first LaQuinta that I have stayed at but did not offer that in their breakfast. If you're for a high carb breakfast this is the place to eat breakfast. There are many restaurants nearby that offer breakfast. Anyway that's my rant and the only negative for this place is the breakfast and the air conditioning.

Such an awesome experience here! After searching for a hotel that offered 18 wheeler parking and pet friendly, I had just about given up. You can't imagine our relief when I spoke to Amunique at the front desk and she told me they had both! The staff is all super friendly and helpful! The hotel is very clean, quiet, offers microwave, fridge, coffee maker and ironing board/iron. They also offer breakfast in the morning. Thank you La Quinta and Amunique!

We stayed at this hotel 2 nights during 2017 Dec holidays. We did not like this hotel at all. Hotel inside is very old, elevator looks like 100 years old and carpet smells very bad. Most people here stayed have pets, we asked for pet free room, but we found that it was not pet free. We went to SeaWorld during the day, by the time we return back in the room was not cleaned at all. We called front desk to report this issue, the lady at front desk reacted very bad. Next day morning we spoke to another front desk guy name Jessy (as I remember) and the manager, both are nice and charged only half of the price for one night. But overall very very bad experience with this hotel. I never stay here again with my kids and family.

The location is what you are paying for here. It is pretty much perfect. Tons of bars, restaurants and sights all around. The rooms are clean but nothing fancy, breakfast is standard "carbs and coffee" fare. Staff is friendly and Wi-Fi is free. Place is a bit old and it definitely shows in many ways but as I said: location, location, location. A great place to stay if u are taking the kinda vacation where u dont plan to be in the hotel much.

Great LOCATION! We stayed here one night, then 3 nights at Hilton Grand Vacations at Tuscany Village. The room at La Quinta was larger, and essentially considerably less expensive. Obviously, the resort at Hilton had many amenities that La Quinta does not offer. However, if we had to do it over, we would have skipped Hilton Tuscany and just stayed at LaQuinta.

What I recommend is clean the staff very friendly.

This deterioration of the main doors do not open as before the worst the air turned on and off is a pity because I was frequently and the new staff not to speak.

Very friendly at the front desk. Pet friendly. Our room was clean and I had no complaints. I checked out around 6am and they had breakfast ready. I will definitely stay again.

It is a comfortable place, with continental breakfast included, very clean and excellent location, includes Wi-Fi of good speed and a swimming pool to enjoy on a hot day, rooms with good space.

Consumer beware… please do not waste hard earned money on this dump. Front desk staff is not friendly or helpful. Carpets are very dirty. Beds are sunken and manager did not care. NO shuttle to SeaWorld as told. We checked out two days early due to conditions of this dump. Rebecca the manager was hot helpful at all.

La Quinta is affordable for those who wish to stay overnight and have fun. The ability to have free breakfast and bring your pets can truly appeal to those who want to save a buck. Ultimately, La Quinta is the place to have a comfortable stay when on vacation.

For its price, a comfortable place and good. The breakfast could be a little more full no more. Good location.

Just absolutely perfect. I felt at home here and the free breakfast is so worth it, beds are extremely comfortable, bathrooms are huge, room is clean and staff is SO friendly. A/C is nice and cold! you get a lot more for your money than other 'budget' hotels. So close to everything and we didn't need a car, just took the shuttles. I also loved the unlimited Sea world and aquatica passes I bought through our hotel and the affordable price for all of it. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend anyone here and especially with your small dogs!

Been using this hotel for years, and I'll keep coming back! The location is in the heart of I-Drive territory, providing access to many restaurants and attractions within minutes. The service is prompt and the rooms are clean. It's a great place to stay in Orlando!

This hotel is great and comfy. The prices couldn't be better. The staff is friendly and room services quite good.

They allowed us to check in early, and the roo was clean. They cleaned out room every day since we have been here, and the breakfast was on time. Pool is clean and we'll kept. Great location close to everything.

I'm writing this review as I lay here at 4 am unable to sleep. At check in there was a mix-up and the rooms we thought were paid for, because we scheduled our stay about 2 months ago, turns out they weren't paid for and the cashiers seemed to have gotten upset and frustrated over nothing. We paid for them and when we headed to the elevator they started making fun of us and talking to other customers about us. Apparently we don't look like we speak Spanish so it was an OK for them to talk about us. Fast forward to 3am, I woke up feeling uneasy, all night I kept feeling like something was on me. I fell asleep around 2am, it took me an hour to wake up and turn my flash on to see what it was. BEDBUGS, all on the bed. I took pictures and video and I will contact them directly about it, there was a bunch on my bed and my girlfriends bed. We both packed up and moved to another room, No apology, no nothing.! She simply said great now we'll have to quarantine the room and get it inspected, as if it was I that brought them.?!?! Now I have throw all my clothes away and my luggage before going home because I AM NOT risking taking them home. And the worst part, we have 2 days more to go and now I don't think I'll be able to sleep my whole stay here.

Our stay was for 2 nights. We paid $89 plus tax, per night. This is no Ritz Carlton, nor is it claiming to be. We wanted something that would fit our budget. Our trip was a quick weekend getaway to Disney's Hollywood Studios. We drove to the theme park and it took maybe 20 minutes from the hotel. Breakfast is free and basic. Cereal, fruits, etc. This particular location does need physical renovation, the wear-and-tear is beginning to show. We had a room with two twin beds. The room did smell of tobacco and when we left after two days, our clothes did give off an odor of tobacco. The tobacco (possibly weed? ) odor was strong on our floor (we were on the 4th). Our original room was on the 6th floor but when we entered it was not made so we went back to front desk and they put us on the 4th. We did not put too much stock into some of the irritations because we knew we were only there to sleep and that's all. We felt the room was worth $79 a night, not the $89 that we paid. Finally, pets are free. With no deposit down or extra fees. We traveled with our cat and it was the only reason why we truly went with La Quinta. Other neighboring hotels were charging $100 non-refundable pet deposits.

Fabulous stay from start to finish! All staff is extremely accommodating and friendly to a fault. Room was nice size and we'll kept and the pool area is on of the best in Orlando. Great Location near Orlando studios and a few other nice attractions. Will stay again when I come visit my sister!

We arrived and couldnt check in for 2 hours because the cops were cleaning out a meth lab from the 5th floor. Waited outside for 2 hours.

Smelled like cigarettes. Decor is outdated. Carpet and tile flooring are gross. Pool was so hot you couldn't swim. Pool towels are the size of hand towels. Great location and good price.

It allowed pets and included free breakfast like (bagels, muffins, cereal, bread, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee, milk, orange juice, apple juice). The pillows were suprisingly comfortable and the beds had a nice design. We got a good view of the Orlando Eye and the pool. The hotel also has a hot tub and a nice walkway and a view too paridise cove.

This hotel was perfect for us! Excellent location, close to a few shops, many restaurants, and several attractions/theme parks. We booked a Universal parks and hotel package thru the Universal vacations website and were very happy with everything. There was a shuttle service to take you to and from the parks, and a taxi ride was reasonable-consistently $10, plus tip. We had to bring our dog with us, so we were glad this hotel was fairly nice, budget friendly, and also allowed us to bring out pet. Every staff member we met was kind and friendly. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable, and the room was pretty big. Everything in our room appeared clean and neat, but it wasn't anything fancy or special. Since we had our dog, we left the do not disturb sign out the whole time we were there, and the maids never disturbed us but would empty our garbage when we left it out in front of the door. Guest services quickly brought us extra towels when we asked for them. The pool was nothing special, just your basic pool and hot tub with a several chairs and a couple tables. But, it seemed clean and kept up pretty well. The hotel also had a late check out time and breakfast was pretty good compared to most other similar hotels I've stayed (yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fruit, hot and cold cereal, good juice, waffles, coffee, and a variety of muffins, toast, & bagels).

Quick friendly staff that was informative, the breakfast was good and plenty, the location is ideal with no traffic noise and your right across the street from a handful of restaurants and the Orlando Eye and Sea Life Aquarium. The shuttle runs till midnight to Universal so you won't have to drive at all if you plan to hit the parks. The rooms are average but spacious and the pillows were actually decent. I'd recommend this place for a budgeted trip or if you don't plan to be in the hotel much.

Room is older, but spacious. Breakfast is adequate, nothing special. Plenty of parking space. Super close to Universal Studios and only 20 minutes to Disneyworld.

At check in the front desk was staffed and the employees were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well made but showed the wear and damage of and older hotel. As noted on the hotels information page the breakfast offered is a "brightside breakfast" so it did not have the typical hot choices most hotel serve these days. There were a couple of waffle machines, a few choices of hot and cold cereal, muffins and bagels available. During breakfast the nearby front desk was rarely occupied and the phone was constantly ringing. As luck would have it one employee was present when I came to check out an hour later.

Rooms are older and cleanliness seems to be a large problem. Stay away from the 4th floor unless you love dense cigarette smoke.

I've stayed at plenty of La Quinta hotels (because most are pet friendly) and the wide range in experiences I have with them never ceases to amaze me. I'e stayed at some that flirted with five stars and some that were solid one stars. This particular La Quinta had a great location (close to all the action in Orlando), a pretty nice staff and OK rooms (even though the coffee maker in my room was broken along with a few other minor issues). The lobby looked to be pretty big when I arrived but it sure shrank during breakfast hours… Overall I didn't have any major complaints but I also couldn't find anything that made my stay stand out in my mind.

Booked this hotel through a Universal package. We booked for 3 adults and 2 kids. These rooms only accommodate 4 unless you request a rollout bed, which they had none the first night we stayed. The room smelled like dirty feet. We asked for extra towels and were directed to "look for housekeeping" who directed us to their linen closet! I left a note for housekeeping asking for extra towels the next day and was ignored. We will never stay here again. Pay the extra $ to stay at a better place!

First room they gave us the key cards didn't work and the person in the neighboring room shouted expletives wondering what the noise was as we fumbled with the key cards. We did want to stay in a room next to a person like that anyway and they gave us a different room. The next morning was off to a late start as we arrived for the 7am breakfast to find that food hadn't been set out yet so we watched them for the next 15 minutes as they brought everything out.

It's clean and I have a good time every time I'm there.

Not bad. Just wish the doors weren't so close. They raddled everyone your neighbor opened theirs up. We heard the kids open and close the door every 5 — 10 mins while trying to nap and sleep at night. Very frustrating when you have 2 little kids. Other than that not bad.

The customer service was awesome. I have booked this hotel three times. The breakfast is free and it taste good. My family loved the service they received the weekend of my wedding. The service was so good that I canceled my reservations at a resort to stay here again. The beds are comfortable and the room set up is nice. The suites are big and they have enough room for a family of five. I love staying here and I will book this hotel everytime My Husband & I visit Orlando.

Rooms okay definitely had better for the price. Front desk clerks very nice. Kitchen staff rude, ended up leaving with my family and going somewhere else for breakfast. I don't think I'll ever stay here again.

Wonderful hotel, it exceeded my expectations in many ways. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We chose to stay here because we traveled with our dog, and so stayed in a pet friendly room. The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained.

It seems the dog owners like this hotel, that must be why I did not like this hotel. I was unsure about taking off my shoes, the rooms need to be renovated and they smell. It's one of those places you feel you have to wash your hands after you visit. It's a below average hotel. Not worth more than $75 a night.

Disgusting hotel. I booked through Seaworld and saw good reviews, but after rereading it is horrible. Was given second room, but worse than first. Would not recommended.

WORST VACATION NIGHTMARE &we visit the parks Every Year. Complaints online of employees including the senile manager it even apparently Since my booking when it had 3 stars went down to 2. I've been in 16 states this year &never once experience this kind of crude service! I don't wonder why, but wonder HOW IS THIS A UNIVERSAL APPROVED PARTNER HOTEL? We made reservations through universal studios resorts for 2 adults 3 kids. Usually if hotel can't accommodate a party of 5 they don't even let you rent it. We requested a roll away bed. Arriving over half hour after checkin and they said the room was not ready though I called 24 hours ahead to confirm. Said they'd"call" when ready. Two hours went by NO CALL we show back up she says "still not ready" got Extremely rude immediately mind you she was mostly mocking and crudely rather belligerent basically Immediately when we arrived. NEVER ONE APOLOGY which was the biggest complaints I see online is the lack of kindness and good customers relations WITH NO APOLOGIES JUST CONSTANT ARROGANCE AND RUDENESS. Because of the blase attitude just checking in I wanted to RUN and should have. Though rented &requested a roll away bed or even extra bedding for the FLOOR when told theres "already a wait list for them" the discompassionate people At This Dive didn't even bother putting us on it!

So nice! We stayed here with my dog while moving, and the hotel was very nice, the staff was great, and it was just a very positive experience.

The hotel is very well located, the rooms were renovated and the hotel in general is well care, the personal very friendly and presto to help you, excellent relationship money.

The room was big, new, and very clean. The staff was all very friendly, and helpful. They had complimentary breakfast; bagels and cream cheese, toast, boiled eggs, cereal, coffee, fruit every morning. No problems keeping a dog, any size, our dog is a 120 lbs. Great Pyr. Plenty of greenery to walk the dog on. The only thing is that the hotel doesn't have it's own restaurant. Probably because there are so many within walking distance. Boston Lobster Feast is a short walk, as are many others. You can also walk to International Blvd. And Golden Corral is about a 3-5 drive. We went to Sleuths Dinner Theater which is also within walking distance. The only thing I noticed on the trip was the key card entry, you had to slide the card several times before getting a green light. Everyone seem to have that problem. We decided to stay an extra day, and I asked for a rate, they gave me 27 dollars off.

Honestly this is an amazing hotel, great price and location. My room was very nice, remodeled and very clean, so far no complains. You will love it, specially if your are coming with your pet :).

The rooms is clean everything smelled nice. Tv's in this place are all flat screen for you to connect DVD Player to see movies you bring. Overall I loved it. Friendly Staff. And they offer a great government discount.

My mom got a good deal here, it was after spring break so it wasn't that full of people. They had told us it was new not like 2013 new but yes, it didn't seem that way, the bathroom was badly done, the door lock/handle was broke which it bothered me sooooo much since I like to know my bathroom door is locked. We had the choice to either put a sign or to hide it, if the housekeeper sees it she will change the sheets if she doesn't she won't change the sheets, it will be done every 3 days then, but the bed will be made no matter what. There was am ice machine like in most hotels, vending machines (drinks, candy/chips and ice cream) so 3 kinds. The breakfast was really good, you can make your own waffle (as many as you like) there was coffee, orange juice, water, bananas, apple, different kinds of bread, chocolate muffins, blueberry muffins, chocolate chip muffins, bagels, butter, so we had many choices, it was opened from 7 to 10 I think. Many parking spots, restaurants nearby, other hotels, near sea world, discovery cove, malls, so location was perfect.

Window leaked TV kept losing signal even while weather was calm and most of all staff didn't care about any of it I would avoid this hotel.
