We have been coming to this hotel and the Ritz at grand lakes for over a decade. This is one of the best hotels in Orlando! They are doing some renovations so it is going to be even better. Great property, amazing service, delicious restaurants and an oasis away from all the craziness of Orlando.

Unfortunately this was a terrible experience that I could never recommend anyone go to. 1st, I spent an hour arguing with front desk to get the rooms I ordered. 2nd the food was complete garbage for the breakfast buffet. Who needs to actually get refills of water for $37, but don't worry it includes 20% gratuity. But the worst was they could not seat our large party but kicked us out for ordering outside food. Never again, avoid this place like the plague.

I stayed 10/17-10/19 for a convention & will not go back. Wait staff very very unfriendly, almost rude. Not enough signage with directions. The cleaning staff was great. Just not impressed.

Amazing staff service from when we checked in until we checked out (5days) later. The pool area is breathtaking + we had access to the Ritz Carlton as well And those pina coladas are to die for. I have stayed 56 nights at a Marriott property since Jan and asked for upgrade just this one time for our anniversary. Hotel said nothing available after asking in advance for a week. I found that hard to believe with amount of people we saw. Rooms were very warm even when lowering temps. Very expensive food and drinks considering the price per night. Parking fees and resort fees added another $200 to our bill. Would probably never stay here again.

Views where nice room was very clean but hot even w putting ac down never cooled off. Pool was nice but cold, food was not bad not great but expensive. With all the different hotels in Orlando and price of this one would probably not go back.

The resort and grounds are beautiful. All of the employees that I encountered were polite. However parking was terrible. We were there for an event and was advised we had to park 3 miles away and take the shuttle back to the resort. There was no prior knowledge of this. We arrived at 915 am for a 945 speaking engagement. Not enough time to wait for the next shuttle. The grounds are spacious and beautiful. The is more than enough space to build a parking garage or a under ground garage.

Fabulous three nights at an outstanding property. We ate in three restaurants, enjoyed the lobby bar, and swam in the pool area and lazy river. Room spotless and very comfortable. Great conference areas. Really surprised by the elevators. They were never congested, despite over 3, 000 attendees, seemed like there was always one waiting. Amazing. Loved every detail of our visit. And, oh, how about a 65" TV in the room? Now I have to buy one.

One of my fave hotels in Orlando. Esp during the holidays. Usually have fireworks display. Lazy river and pool always a great time. Good for kids and adults. Restaurants throughout hotel awesome. Easy walk to Ritz Carlton where spa services always ranked at the top. When your at the poolside bar make sure you try.

Great location. 10 minutes from the Orlando Airport 10 minutes from the convention center enclosed your main roads that take me directly to the theme parks then NASA and the astronaut Coast. On top of that JW Marriott together with Ritz have more than 30 restaurants gorgeous pools and Golf Course.

Although not a perfect visit do to not having our room available upon check in and some minor room issues. The staff was well trained to handle issues the leadership at this hotel does a excellent job hiring only the best from the Valet to Maintenance personnel. Hats off to this hotel they know how to take great care of the guest! Highly recommend this hotel.

Very comfortable and enjoyable. Good service throughout. Lazy river/pool is so relaxing, good mix of sun spots and shade. You can spend your entire day out on the property. Great food poolside. Fresh when it gets to you. Nice landscaping as you walk the property, sir on hammocks or enjoy boating or biking. Staff is friendly overall as you enjoy everything. Citron breakfast buffet is what I enjoy most when I come Food is fuel Minus one star because there was a slight odor in the bathroom.

Nothing but friendly smiles and greetings from the staff from banquet to hotel. Front desk staff very attentive and helpful. Room service delivered in less than 30 minutes. BIG! screen TV in room. Fun pool, lazy river, pool bar. Tons of lounge chairs poolside. Large well equipped workout room. Lots of restaurants and shops. Close enoght to theme parks but far enough away to avoid the crowds. Only issue I have is self — parking fee is $28 at a rural property.

This place is horrible. Our room had black mold in the bathroom, then the plumbing had issues and our toilet started overflowing the bath water from another room. This is the third year in a row I have had an issue with this hotel. The first year, my vehicle and 21 others were broken in to and their security system is so old and antiquated, they had no footage of the incident. Then they told me they would fix my window. Little did I know I was going to get the bill for the repairs then I had to submit an invoice to get Reimbursed and they took 90 days to pay me back. The second year they accused me of using a fraudulent card at check in. I never even used a card at check in because my card had been hit with fraud and shut down the day before. The customer service is horrible, all they do is say sorry and go about their day without ever trying to make things right. I have better security cameras in my home and they say this is a high end hotel. Don’t waste your money. Go stay at almost any other hotel in Orlando and you will have a better experience than this dump.

We had a great time! Tons of people with the convention (we were part of too) but there was ample space and ample elevators. The hotel is spectacular and elegant. The room was nice and very clean. Loved the pool with lazy river!

One of the best resorts I've stayed at in the Continental United States. Impeccable service and absolutely beautiful property. You almost forget you're not away in another country. Views from hotel room balcony are great. Resort have a good amount of things to do if you don't feel like traveling to the different tourist attractions in the nearby area. Only minor downside is the hotel rooms to not have a microwave so if you bring back food to heat up you'll be out of luck.

Absolutely amazing hotel. The front desk staff is super friendly, the amenities are plentiful. The lazy river was a great touch. Be sure to book the shuttle service at least 24 hours in advance. The breakfast buffet was excellent, well above any other I have had at a mainstay Marriott property. I will definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at the JW Marriott for two nights. While there we experienced the hotel, restaurants and convention center. The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were well maintained. The rooms were clean and what I would expect from this type of resort. Pro tip: check out the herb garden.

We’ve stayed here as a family quite a few times over the years. We keep coming back because we love the place! So comfortable, great staff, beautiful landscape and decor in the hotel. We love the restaurants inside as well. The pool is very fun with the lazy river and we enjoy the ping pong tables too. Thanks for another great stay!

We stayed on the Ritz-Carlton side of the resort, but you have access to both hotels for a very grand resort experience. It was amazing! The resort is huge and incredible! We liked the pool at the Ritz a little better just because it was less busy and quieter. But the JW has a lazy river which was a lot of fun. The JW is definitely more geared towards families with kids, there is plenty to do without having to leave the grounds. Will definitely be back!

Very nice hotel with great amenities. Loved the view, the lazy river and the multiple hotel tubs. The room was spacious with a fridge and had a separate tub and shower in the bathroom. The hotel shows it's age around the edges but overall very clean. The shuttle service sucks and the concierge was rude. I'd stay here again.

Excellent Wedding Venue! Serene and beautiful veranda by the lake. Perfect for photography! Unmatched quality of service and professionalism. Beautiful dining amenities — again, excellent photo-ops. The least you will find in the staff is sincere and meaningful politeness. Outstanding lazy river pool yard complete with waterfalls, Jacuzzis, outdoor bars, kids play pool, fountains and more.

Incredible, one of the finest and most luxurious hotels I've ever been in on my travels. Was extremely impressed with plethora of wildlife with one of the most pleasant experiences being the staff. The staff of every single area are some of the most accommodating and friendly I've met anywhere. Our luggage was lost and they immediately provided us with simple toiletries as well as took extra care to help us locate our luggage. The food was exceptional and breakfast was beyond compare. Unfortunately we forgot to snap photos as the flavor was absolutely excellent. If you are staying in Orlando, you must stay here.

How Can explain this hotel in one word. This hotel not only has amazing prices, but very neat, clean, and amazing service. With all of this combined this hotel includes amazing food, activities, and service. L recently lost my valuable sentimental chain tag my dad recently gave me for Christmas. As my parents drove me home almost 4 hours l realized l left it on the bed, l immediately called as they answered right away and were on the look out for it. My mom received a call from the hotel that they found it, this absolutely made my day. On top of that when my mom asked for their info to pay for the shipping, they replied “not to worry that they got it and it’s going through “Expedited shipping. ” This just goes to show how generous and caring this hotel is. If there is any hotel that l recommend you say, I’d say this one out of all, this is the one to stay. ☺️, l also want to send a big thank you to wilmari Cruz for having amazing customer service and for going out of her way to help me find my necklace.

Don’t bother. This hotel is not welcoming at all! Customer service is not good… from front desk to restaurants to conference personnel to maintenance. I experienced awful rude service from each of these groups that I encountered during my stay. And housekeeping blocked the hallway on more than one occasion… I had to push cart out of the way to walk past as the housekeeper stared. There is no consistency in housekeeping service… one night I had no bath mat… next I had no shampoo… how do you leave lotion, body wash, conditioner. But no shampoo? Called for shampoo and finally gave up after an hour. Rooms are hot and AC allows you to change thermostat, but the room will not cool to the temp set. It stays at 72 even after “engineering” “fixes” it. I would avoid this hotel and will not personally return if in the area again.

The hotel is nice enough, but Marriott always feels cheap to me. The Wi-Fi access isn't free, and the conference food is bland. It feels like the staff is pretending to be nice. I've been here several times for work (conferences) and I'm always happiest when I'm checking out. BUT, the lazy river is pretty nice. I have to say =)

A very beautiful and upscale contemporary hotel. Features large, bright rooms for single, double or family occupancy. The on site restaurant is amazing, with new chef selections and specials 7 days of the week. Amenities include a gym and spa, and It's many ball rooms and spacious office-like suites make this a very popular location for business travellers and corporate events. The concierge was so friendly and helpful. An excellent place to stay with your family in Orlando, with daily shuttles to Walt Disney World, Sea World, and other local atttactions.

The lazy River pool was amazing. The kids had a blast and the staff spent the evening helping everyone make smores at the fire pit. The room was comfortable and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Had some drinks at the bar and the bartender was excellent even made us some drinks we've never tried before. All in all a great experience and we will definitely be back.

One of the best properties I have visited. Very hospitable staff. Good and cosy rooms. A very clean and large swimming pool. Nutshell my 8 nights stay with my boys was fun. Overall food is good … a bit pricey (which is expected) for the amount of serving … but one has to try the BBQ chips with onion dip. That’s amazing. Will look forward to when I can make a trip back to the resort again.

I live locally and have stayed in several hotels for leisure and business. This is, by far, one of the best I have ever stayed in. The rooms were clean, up-to-date, and well maintained as was the property itself. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. I would put this hotel on par with or better than the Waldorf Astoria and Ritz Carlton. My stays here have always been top notch and impressive. I highly recommend, especially for couples staying in the area. They also have a very competitive military rate for military families.

Clean, comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Only 2 complains I had was the sink was clogged and never got fixed and the shower first day was cold. So next day I ran the shower for 10 minutes assuming that they might have fixed the shower. 10 minutes later it's still cold. Being a hotel owner myself I tried it on cold side and the water was nice and hot. Somebody might have put the eschectun plate backwards. Room number was 6043. Other than that everything was great.

Magnificent settings and landscaping! Impressive lobby, good beds and pillows. Need some attention to details specially for the rate this hotel charges. Some light fixtures and the telephones were not working. Packing of the shower doors were broken and the drawer’s doors don’t close. Employees were super attentive and response was immediate.

I am a long time Marriott customer. I have achieved life time platinum status and am a member of Marriott’s Ambassadors club. In over 1500 nights with Marriott I have not experienced another Marriott property this poor. Save yourself time and energy, and stay at the neighboring Ritz. Every stay I have had at that Ritz has been great!

I was here on a weekend trip at The Truth About Cancer Convention. Wow! This hotel was fantastic. The view was stunning, the gym was top class with more machinery than some membership gyms, the rooms were clean, beds were comfy & the food choices were extremely healthy. 5/5!

Excellent hotel. Polite and meticulous cleaning staff. Downright palatial lobby. Excellent in-hotel restaurants (Whisper Creak Farm Kitchen was particularly fantastic). Gorgeous grounds. Fantastic lazy river pool. Very attentive staff. Very comfortable and well-appointed rooms (large bathrooms a big plus). All in all, fantastic hotel experience. Would recommend.

Nice structure with many conference and business meeting spaces. Several restaurants available and a nice outdoor area with pools. Some bars are very expensive, but there are also more easy solutions.

Clean comfortable rooms. Amazing staff from the valet staff, desk clerk, bellhops and housekeeping well trained very professional I cannot say enough good things about the kitchen and their staff definitely try the food everything I ate here was outstanding. Looking forward to another visit.

I was here for six nights during a conference and it was an amazing experience. The rooms were impressive and the JW Marriott Suite that I visited had breathtaking views, especially during sunset. The catered food was a bit salty but the friendly service made up for it. I highly recommend spending the day at the lazy river pool.

Stayed for a presentation, and enjoyed the lazy river after. It wasn't too crowded, and after swimming for a bit, my family and I ate poolside. The restaurant next to the lobby was wonderful. Kind staff. Nice rooms (with a huge rev).

Nice hotel just don't leave anything fragile in your luggage with the bell people. They broke pretty expensive laptop we brought for a conference. We sure told the gal to be careful with the lap top in the bag. When we got the bag back, we carried on as usual to the airport. We handled the bag carefully, never dropped it, but when we got to the airport, discovered that the screen was completely shuttered. We called hotel back the next day and sent them pictures. After two weeks of "investigation " they told us nobody dropped that bag, they asked everybody — — like any bell clerk would admit to it. The lap top contained a lot of sensitive data that was highly needed and was mostly lost. JW refused to take any responsibility. They are not accountable for anything. They are just another institution that is relying on its past reputation.

Great hotel. The rooms are well made, very clean, well maintained, and make it really inviting to stay. Lots of electrical outlets for families with many devices. The views are amazing especially in the upper floors. We like this hotel very much. Ample space for everything! The pool with the lazy river is very family friendly. Great size and way to wind down the hot afternoon. The gym is very well maintained. It is right on the spa building with the nearby Ritz Carlton. The whole facility offers great amenities including tennis and basketball courts. The acreage is serene for that morning jog or simple walk around the lake. Definitely a place to stay. Gotchas include daily self-parking at an extra (I mean it is self parking) and the Internet free Wi-Fi is spotty limited to 6 devices per room. There is extra for high speed, but did not try that since we were not there for business reasons. Closest markets and restaurants outside the facility are about 15-20 minutes out. The Kitchen at the hotel has amazing pizzas and foodies. The restaurant at nearby Ritz also was a great option for us. For Starbucks lovers, the store inside is a welcome plus. Overall, great hotel! Service is fantastic and second to none.

Everything is great. Our house keeper is amazing (Phuong) she left extra amenities with out being asked but she saw it was 4 plus a baby and just figured which was awesome. Room has small refrigerator and lock. No microwave. Only downfall. No microwave anywhere on facility. Valet was very nice although parking cost are $32 a night with in and out privileges.

Stayed here during sister's wedding. Had a phenomenal experience. Airport isn't too far and it's close enough to the parks. The lazy River was great and the water temperature was perfect. They provided us with floatation devices and nice fun for kids too. I would recommend, as long as you're ok w the price.

This property (shared amenities with The Ritz), has it all. Close to many Orlando attractions, great restaurants, and a lazy river! It is higher priced than many if the surrounding hotels, but you will be hard pressed to find a better on resort experience. The eateries feature farm to table selections; many of the items grown on property. They even have their own craft brewery on premises. This is a good place for families, and has crafts and activities for the little ones. Did I mention the lazy river?
