Review of HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof Orlando South 2*

This place is the pitts! It disgusting, nasty, smelly, and infested with roaches. First of all, I made my reservation drove to the hotel (all within an hour) and upon trying to check in I was told my reservation was cancelled. The young lady, Jasmine, then informed me that she had a room for me dispite the mishap. Got to the room, it's hot, and stinking of smoke… she neva informed me that it was a smoking room. I had no choice but to stay there because it was the night after hurricane Irma and my apartment had no electricity. It was my two daughters and myself staying at this place. I had to drive back to my apartment, gather some clean blankets, towels, disinfectant, air deodorizer, cause this place was disgusting. My youngest has asthma and had to bring her humidifier too! I might as well had stayed at my place but I needed the current to keep my cold food COLD/FROZEN. I went downstairs the morning after to request a non smoking room, the receptionist said they're booked up. Drove to my place, current was on, drove back to this place and checked out. The guy who tended to me said I'll be charged $25 for checking out a day early, I said no problem. Now today, 9/16, I get an email stating they want to hear my experience for my recent stay and they put the dates too! That's all I saw, they charged me for the night I did not stay there and I mean the whole amount not partial like the guy said. Called and was given a run around. Long story short, I wasted over an hour of my time to end up with NOTHING! Guys, if you want to have a decent stay for your hard earned money DO NOT STAY AT THIS ROACH INFESTED MOTEL… THIS IS NOT NO HOTEL. It is very disgusting!
